What is the IVF treatment procedure?
Tumblr media
The IVF (In Vitro Fertilization) treatment procedure is a widely used assisted reproductive technology that helps individuals and couples struggling with infertility to conceive a child. The procedure involves several steps and is conducted under the guidance of fertility specialists. Here is an overview of the IVF treatment procedure:
Ovarian Stimulation: The first step in IVF treatment is ovarian stimulation, where fertility medications are administered to stimulate the ovaries to produce multiple mature eggs. The medication regimen is personalized based on individual needs and may involve self-administered injections or oral medications. Regular monitoring through blood tests and ultrasound examinations is done to track the response of the ovaries and adjust the medication dosage if needed.
Egg Retrieval: Once the ovarian follicles containing mature eggs have developed, an egg retrieval procedure is performed. This is typically done under sedation or anesthesia to ensure patient comfort. A thin needle is guided through the vaginal wall into the ovaries using ultrasound guidance, and the eggs are aspirated from the follicles. The retrieved eggs are then immediately handed over to the embryology laboratory for further processing.
Sperm Collection: On the same day as the egg retrieval, the male partner or sperm donor provides a semen sample. The sperm sample is prepared in the laboratory to isolate healthy and motile sperm.
Fertilization: In the embryology laboratory, the retrieved eggs and prepared sperm are combined through a process called insemination or intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI).Insemination involves placing the eggs and sperm together in a culture dish and allowing fertilization to occur naturally. ICSI is used when there are concerns about sperm quality or previous fertilization difficulties. It involves injecting a single sperm directly into each mature egg.The fertilized eggs, now called embryos, are monitored for cell division and development over the next few days.
Embryo Transfer: After a few days of development, the best-quality embryos are selected for transfer into the uterus. The number of embryos transferred is typically decided based on factors such as the woman's age, the quality of the embryos, and the recommendations of the fertility specialist. The embryo transfer procedure is usually a painless and quick process that does not require anesthesia. A thin catheter is guided through the cervix into the uterus, and the embryos are gently placed into the uterine cavity.
Pregnancy Testing: Approximately two weeks after the embryo transfer, a pregnancy test is performed to determine if the procedure was successful. This is usually a blood test that measures the level of the pregnancy hormone hCG (human chorionic gonadotropin) in the bloodstream. If the test indicates a positive pregnancy, further monitoring and follow-up appointments with the fertility clinic are scheduled. If the test is negative, the next steps and options can be discussed with the fertility specialist.
It's important to note that the IVF treatment procedure can vary slightly depending on the specific clinic and the individual's circumstances. Consulting with a fertility specialist is crucial to receive personalized guidance and information regarding the IVF process.

WHY FOOT CARE IS SO IMPORTANT FOR DIABETICS?
Diabetes threatens the feet to have serious effects, even with a minor cut. The lack of proper foot treatment typically contributes to nerve impairment or to diabetic neuropathy. The nerve wound will endlessly carry the feeling through your feet that a wound or even a slight cut cannot be seen. Therefore, every day before accidents become polluted, you have to look at your foot to establish significant complexities – such as amputation or gangrene.
Tumblr media
The conditions will restrict blood flow through the limbs and make it more difficult to combat or cure the infection. Due to the barriers, in your footwear, you could not even perceive a foreign goal which would be able to start an amputation or blister if that did not change. You must properly care for your feet if you are a diabetic. In the self-care routine every day, you can add diabetic foot care.
Diabetic Foot Care: Daily Foot Examination Checklist
In view of diabetic feet, the top and back of your feet must be examined. You can check it, use a mirror, or request a colleague to check it for yourself. Also, ensure at each doctor’s appointment, that your limbs are tested.
When Working For Your Diabetes Foot Care, Watch For:
Cut Or Scratches: Wash with warm soap and liquid if you find a cut or injury. Then use your diabetes doctor’s antibiotic Lotions and use antiseptic Bandages to protect the wounds. In the event that you think the cut is bleeding, red, or scentless, get in touch immediately with your doctor.
Ulcers: Slowly improve cuts or insignificant scrapes or injuries caused by poorly-fitting footwear can end up contaminated in ulcers. You need to handle cutting or scratching immediately to prevent foot ulcers. Ask your doctor about your foot pain to make sure it is the right way.
Dry Skin: Diabetic feet ought to be properly cared for. In the event of dehydration of the feet, use moisturizers and the best diabetic foot cream to preserve a smooth surface. Garantie, however, that the lotion is not implemented in the toes as the moisture will stop the fungal germination. Diabetic skin and foot care is a very good subject to be researched further to keep your skin healthy.
Blisters: Feet and diabetes are bent and the feet are hurt. You should wear diabetic shoes that fit properly to prevent accidents. Never sever clear blister because it increases infection confusion. Only clean the blister with antibacterial cream and put a dressing on it.
Cracking, Red Surface, And Itching Within The Toes: The subsequent foot problems are fungal symptoms and you need to treat them promptly to prevent further infections. A cosmetic or a pill can be prescribed by the doctor.
Calluses/Corns: For corns and calluses, don’t seek to eliminate or cut a callus or corn. We suggest that you discuss with your doctor to prescribe the best way to abolish the corns.
Plantar Warts: They are tender, viral-induced callus looks and grow on the foot. They are tender. Take care of your circumstance with a doctor.
Ingrown Toenails: Make sure you regularly trim your toenails just to the top to reduce incoming toenails. Toenail and diabetes are a critical concern when skin-cutting stone eyes are damaged, contaminated, and reddened. See a physician for control of the issue of a cloven toenail.
Reference:

What is Diabetes & Types of Diabetes?
Diabetes is a disease that occurs when your blood glucose, also called blood sugar, is too high. THYROID SPECIALIST – WHEN SHOULD YOU LOOK FOR ONE?
As far as hypothyroidism is concerned, there may be individuals around you that help you monitor the condition regularly. However, the best way is always to be in touch with a thyroid specialist. It is common for hypothyroid patients to be under medication required for producing the thyroid hormone of which there is a shortage in the body. Though a regular physician may be able to help you in this condition, it is best to seek the help of the best Thyroid Doctor in Nashik.
Tumblr media
A thyroid specialist is knowledgeable about the physical structure of the gland and also in dealing with its functions. They would also know the hormones that are required in the body and how all of them interact with one another. This will help you to manage the long-term condition in a better manner.
When Should You See a Thyroid Specialist?
You should contact a thyroid doctor specialized in the treatment of thyroid disorders as soon as you are diagnosed with a thyroid condition the first time. The thyroid is a gland that is located in your throat. Soon after your initial diagnosis, you can discuss an appointment with an ENT doctor about the test results and finalize the treatment plan. There are other times when you need to consult a thyroid specialist. They are listed below for your reference.
When you are pregnant or are trying to conceive
Hormones in the body are greatly affected when you are pregnant. Hypothyroidism can affect your body during this time. If you are trying to conceive, then you must consult a thyroid specialist. It is important to monitor the medication closely during these times because of changing hormonal levels. During pregnancy, some women require more medication. However, the correct dosage for you can only be suggested by the thyroid specialist.
Unchanged Symptoms
Normally, symptoms should subside when taking medication for thyroid conditions. However, if the symptoms remain unchanged, it is important to revisit the thyroid specialist who may give you a changed dosage to make the medication more effective. Medication should never be changed without a recommendation from the thyroid specialist.
Pituitary-related Issues
The gland at the base of the brain, the pituitary, is the one that controls the thyroid gland and its production of hormones. In the case of pituitary gland dysfunction, the thyroid medication will not be producing the desired result. The inability to release TRH (thyrotropin-releasing hormone) will cause a lowering in the production of hormones and give rise to related complications.
Enlarged Thyroid
An enlarged thyroid is also called a ‘goiter’ and this necessitates a trip to the thyroid specialist. This will enable the doctor to make you understand the reason for the enlargement and find out if you have hypothyroidism. In such a case, an immediate appointment can help the doctor treat the condition with the right medication at the earliest.
Nodules/Lumps on the Thyroid Gland
The thyroid gland is located in the front of your neck below the voice box. You should visit a thyroid specialist in case of the appearance of lumps or nodules on the gland. They will conduct the necessary tests and examinations to determine the cause and nature of the nodules/lumps. In a majority of cases, the nodules/lumps turn out to be harmless. However, this may not be true for every case.
Maintaining a healthy thyroid gland may be challenging but it is required to maintain a healthy body.

WHAT DOES MY THYROID GLAND DO?
The thyroid gland is an important hormone gland: It performs a major role in the metabolism, growth, and development of the human body. It helps to control many body functions by constantly releasing a steady amount of thyroid hormones into the bloodstream. This organ (medical term: glandula thyreoidea) is located at the front of the neck, under the voice box.
Tumblr media
This fuel is iodine. Iodine is located in such foods as iodized table salt, seafood, bread, and milk. When you eat these foods, the iodine moves into your bloodstream. Your thyroid then removes this essential ingredient from your blood and uses it to make two kinds of thyroid hormone: thyroxine, called T4 because it contains four iodine atoms, and triiodothyronine, or T3, which contains three iodine particles. The thyroid’s output consists primarily of T4. Most of the T3 the body needs is generated outside the thyroid in organs and tissues that use T3, such as the liver, kidneys, and brain. These tissues change T4 from the thyroid into T3 by removing an iodine atom.
When the body requires thyroid hormone, the thyroid secretes it into your bloodstream in quantities needed for the metabolic needs of your cells. The hormone simply slips into cells and attaches to special receptors. The thyroid also requires being told what to do. To make the accurate amount of hormones, the thyroid gland needs the help of another gland: the pituitary gland. The pituitary gland “tells” the thyroid gland whether to release more or fewer hormones into the bloodstream. TSH levels in your bloodstream increase or decline depending on whether there is enough thyroid hormone in your system. Higher levels of TSH prompt the thyroid to generate more hormones until T4 levels come down to a constant level. Conversely, low TSH levels signal the thyroid to slow down creation.
How are thyroid problems diagnosed?
Blood tests are used to find hypothyroidism and hyperthyroidism. Your Thyroid Doctor in Nashik may want to measure your amount of TSH or T4 (or both), and sometimes T3. You also may have a blood examination for certain antibodies. This can determine if your body’s immune system is attacking your thyroid gland. In some situations, you may have other tests—such as an ultrasound or a radioactive scan—to look for problems with your thyroid.
How are thyroid problems treated?
If you have too little thyroid hormone, you can take thyroid replacement medicine. After starting treatment, you will have routine appointments with your physician to make sure you have the right dose of medicine. If you have extremely thyroid hormone, you may take antithyroid medicine to lower your hormone level or radioactive iodine to destroy the thyroid gland. During and after treatment, you will have a routine blood check-up to check your thyroid hormones to see if the treatment is working. In rare cases, surgery may be done.
