Pharmacy education in India is regulated by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) and the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE). Candidates who have completed their 10+2 with chemistry, physics, maths, and biology (PCM/PCB) are eligible to apply for B. Pharm. Candidates must additionally get a minimum score of 50% on the qualifying exam. In some states, additional entrance examinations for pharmacy admissions are required. Holders of a D.Pharm degree are eligible for lateral entry into the second year of B.Pharm.

The Pharmacy Curriculum

Pharmaceutics, Pharmacognosy, Pharmaceutical Biotechnology, and Pharmacy Practice, Pharmaceutical Analysis, Industrial Pharmacy, Regulatory Affairs, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, and Quality Assurance are the subjects covered. In 2008, PCI developed a six-year Pharm.D programme with an internationally defined curriculum. With a 10+2 diploma, you can apply for this course.

Their work comprises the procurement, stockpiling, preparation, and distribution of pharmaceuticals and health accessories in both private and public institutions. Criteria for Eligibility

B.Pharm Course - It is a bachelor's degree in pharmacy that can be pursued after passing the 12th/intermediate test.
