Some important details regarding pharmacy course in India:
Pharmacy education in India is regulated by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) and the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE). There are some top Pharmacy colleges in Bangalore where you can pursue a Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharm), Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm. D), Diploma in Pharmacy (D. Pharm), Master of Pharmacy (M. Pharm), and PhD in pharmacy are all levels of qualifications.
Filling in the blanks
Candidates who have completed their 10+2 with chemistry, physics, maths, and biology (PCM/PCB) are eligible to apply for B. Pharm. Candidates must additionally get a minimum score of 50% on the qualifying exam. In some states, additional entrance examinations for pharmacy admissions are required. Holders of a D.Pharm degree are eligible for lateral entry into the second year of B.Pharm.
The Pharmacy Curriculum
Pharmacy education is interdisciplinary and differs by institution. A four-year bachelor's degree in pharmacy, on the other hand, concentrates on both organic and inorganic chemistry. The curriculum includes topics such as health education, biochemistry, and human anatomy. Physical pharmaceutics and pharmaceutical technology are taught in B. Pharm. Other components include pharmacognosy (the study of medication uses, effects, and actions on the body), pharmaceutical biotechnology (the study of technologies used in the manufacture and registration of biotechnological pharmaceuticals), pharmacy business management and pharmaceutical legislation. Numerous Pharmacy Colleges in India are available to pursue all the related pharmacy courses.
Postgraduate Education
M.Pharm students must usually choose one of eleven specialities. Their work comprises the procurement, stockpiling, preparation, and distribution of pharmaceuticals and health accessories in both private and public institutions. They monitor the use, composition, and effect of drugs and are in charge of counselling medical personnel on the selection and side effects of various medications. Pharmacists are involved in the formulation and manufacturing of medications in the pharmaceutical industry. Pharmacists do research that leads to the development of medical medications.

Scope of Pharm. D
Demand for pharmacists is basically huge, especially within the US and other countries. Contrary to how patients are treated in India, In US doctor is that the one who diagnoses a patient and he's sent to a pharmacist.
Doctors cannot prescribe medicines to patients. It’s the pharmacist who does the prescribing work and charges tons quite that of what a Doctor does. we'll discuss the salaries in Pay Scale section.
Coming back to India, though there's no exact recognition of clinical pharmacy in India as of today, there are chances of seeing a boom during this field within the near future.
As I told earlier you'll have an excellent career with an enormous salary within the US or other countries where there's proper recognition although you've got to clear NAPLEX first.
Jobs:
Let’s say you've got completed the course and therefore the question you've got is what sort of jobs should I apply for, Well, Let’s address that question then.
Here the kinds of Jobs you'd be ready to get into after completing the course from Best Pharm D College in Bangalore
Clinical Pharmacist
Hospital Pharmacy Director
Hospital Staff Pharmacist
Pharmacist
Pharmacist responsible
Retail Pharmacist
Retail Staff Pharmacy
Not just the kinds of jobs, I even have also bought you the utilization areas where you'll work after the course.
Areas of Employment
College
University
Foundation / Trust
Franchise
Hospital
Non-Profit Organization
Pharmaceutical Company
Private Practice/Firm
Self-Employed
Pay Scale:
As i discussed within the Scope section, within the US it’s the pharmacist who prescribes medicine to patients and not the doctors and Pharmacist do charge them a hefty amount for this.
The average salary of a pharmacist within the US is somewhere between 40-50 $ per hour within the beginning. you'll do the maths for the monthly salary. That’s tons of cash for a beginner if you inquire from me .
In India, a clinical pharmacists average salary would be somewhere around 2 Lakhs once a year at the start and can obviously increase with experience.
After you gain some experience within the field, the salary can go as high as 8 Lakh once a year .
Syllabus Covered:
