The Future of Customer Support: Cloud Call Center Services
Tumblr media
In the fast-evolving business landscape, customer support remains a critical component of success. Traditional call centers, with their extensive on-premises infrastructure, have long been the backbone of customer service. However, with advancements in technology, cloud call center services are revolutionizing the way businesses manage customer interactions. This shift is not only enhancing operational efficiency but also significantly improving the customer experience.
What Are Cloud Call Center Solutions?
Cloud call center solutions are advanced systems that leverage cloud computing technology to manage customer interactions. Unlike traditional call centers that rely on physical hardware and servers, cloud-based call centers operate entirely over the internet. This shift to the cloud offers numerous advantages, such as scalability, flexibility, and cost-efficiency.
Key Benefits of Cloud Call Center Solutions
Scalability and Flexibility: Cloud call center solutions enable businesses to scale their operations up or down based on demand. This flexibility is particularly beneficial for companies with seasonal fluctuations in call volume. Whether you're a small business or a large enterprise, cloud solutions can be tailored to meet your specific needs.
Cost Efficiency: By eliminating the need for on-premises hardware and maintenance, cloud call centers significantly reduce operational costs. Businesses can save on expenses related to infrastructure, energy, and IT staff. Moreover, cloud-based call center solutions operate on a pay-as-you-go model, ensuring that you only pay for the resources you use.
Enhanced Accessibility: Cloud call centers provide agents with the ability to work from anywhere, as long as they have an internet connection. This remote capability not only improves work-life balance for employees but also ensures uninterrupted customer service, even in times of crisis or unexpected disruptions.
Advanced Features and Integration: Modern cloud call center solutions come equipped with a plethora of advanced features such as AI-powered analytics, real-time reporting, and integration with CRM systems. These features enable businesses to gain valuable insights into customer behavior, streamline workflows, and provide personalized support.
Cloud-Based Call Center Solutions in India
India, being a global hub for customer support services, has seen a rapid adoption of cloud-based call center solutions. The country’s vast pool of skilled professionals and the increasing demand for cost-effective solutions make it an ideal market for cloud call center services. Businesses in India are leveraging these solutions to enhance their customer support operations, achieve higher efficiency, and provide superior service to their clients.
One of the key advantages of adopting cloud-based call center solutions in India is the ability to cater to a diverse and widespread customer base. With cloud technology, businesses can establish virtual call centers across different regions without the need for physical infrastructure. This approach not only reduces costs but also ensures seamless service delivery across multiple geographies.
Choosing the Right Cloud Call Center Solution
When selecting a cloud call center solution, it's essential to consider factors such as reliability, security, and scalability. Look for providers that offer robust data protection measures, 24/7 support, and customizable features to meet your specific business needs. Additionally, ensure that the solution integrates seamlessly with your existing systems and workflows.
Conclusion
The transition to cloud call center solutions marks a significant step forward for businesses aiming to enhance their customer support services. By embracing cloud technology, companies can achieve greater flexibility, cost savings, and operational efficiency. In regions like India, where customer support is a critical industry, cloud-based call center solutions are paving the way for a more connected and responsive future.
Investing in a reliable and scalable cloud call center solution is not just a technological upgrade; it's a strategic move that can transform your customer service operations and set your business apart in a competitive market.

Choosing the Right Direct Inward Dialing Provider: Key Factors to Consider
Direct Inward Dialing (DID) is a powerful tool for businesses looking to streamline their communication systems and improve efficiency. However, selecting the right DID provider can be a daunting task with so many options available. Here are the key factors to consider when choosing a DID provider to ensure you make the best decision for your business.
1. Reliability and Uptime
Why It Matters: Reliable communication is crucial for any business. Frequent downtime can lead to missed calls, frustrated customers, and lost revenue. What to Look For: Check the provider’s uptime guarantees and read reviews to understand their reliability track record. Look for a provider that offers at least 99.99% uptime.
2. Coverage Area
Why It Matters: Depending on your business needs, you might require local, national, or international DID numbers. What to Look For: Ensure the provider offers DIDs in the regions where you need them. Some providers specialize in certain areas, while others offer global coverage.
3. Scalability
Why It Matters: As your business grows, your communication needs will evolve. What to Look For: Choose a provider that can easily scale with your business. This includes the ability to add new numbers, increase call capacity, and integrate with other systems as needed.
4. Pricing Structure
Why It Matters: Cost-effectiveness is crucial for maintaining a healthy bottom line. What to Look For: Compare pricing models, which can vary widely among providers. Consider setup fees, monthly fees, and per-minute rates. Look for transparent pricing with no hidden charges.
5. Features and Functionality
Why It Matters: Additional features can enhance your communication system and improve efficiency. What to Look For: Evaluate the features offered by the provider. Key features might include call forwarding, voicemail, SMS capabilities, call recording, and integration with CRM systems.
6. Customer Support
Why It Matters: Reliable customer support ensures that any issues are resolved quickly, minimizing disruption to your business. What to Look For: Look for providers that offer 24/7 customer support. Check reviews for feedback on their response times and the quality of their support services.
7. Security
Why It Matters: Protecting your communication systems from breaches is vital for maintaining privacy and compliance. What to Look For: Ensure the provider implements robust security measures, including encryption, fraud detection, and compliance with relevant regulations such as GDPR or HIPAA.
8. Ease of Integration
Why It Matters: Seamless integration with your existing systems can enhance efficiency and reduce the learning curve for your team. What to Look For: Verify that the DID provider supports integration with your current VoIP systems, CRM software, and other communication tools.
9. Quality of Service (QoS)
Why It Matters: High-quality voice and data transmission are essential for professional communication. What to Look For: Ask about the provider’s QoS protocols and how they ensure clear, uninterrupted calls. Look for features like bandwidth management and traffic prioritization.
10. Trial Period and Guarantees
Why It Matters: A trial period allows you to test the service before making a long-term commitment. What to Look For: Choose a provider that offers a free trial or a money-back guarantee. This gives you the opportunity to evaluate their service quality and suitability for your business needs.
Conclusion
Selecting the right Direct Inward Dialing provider involves careful consideration of various factors that impact reliability, cost, scalability, and overall functionality. By evaluating these key aspects, you can choose a provider that not only meets your current needs but also supports your business’s future growth and success.

Mockingbird
Synopsis: Charles Leclerc as always been a family man, so it makes perfect sense to everyone when he chooses to adopt a child. Specifically, you.
adopted monegasque daughter reader x charles leclerc
A/N: for this one; charles will adopt y/n when he’s 28, for the most part, the grid will be the same as the 2023, everyone’s just older, and because charles’ relationships are unpredictable, he chooses to adopt and raise y/n mostly on his own.
. okay so
. again, charles has always wanted a family
. small, big, when he’s young, when he’s old
. doesn’t care, just wants a family
. specifically, a child
. but after many not-so serious and semi-serious relationships
. he realizes that he’ll have to wait a few years until he can have one of his own
. unless
. “what if I just adopt a child?”
. “I won’t have to wait any longer, I can just have one and raise them on my own terms”
. charles decides he likes this idea very much
. so he thinks it over and talks about it with his own family
. then after many conversations with his mother
. he visits a few adoption centers
. talks to a lot of social workers and child protective service workers
. finds one wide-eyed, adorable, 3 year old girl
. and falls absolutely in love
. the directors of the adoption center tell him all about you
. your birth parents, your story, your situation
. his heart was set
. the adoption process takes a few months
. so charles take that time to get ready for you
. but nothing could prepare him for the day the adoption agency called and told him you were his
. he swears it was the best day of his life
. he was beaming the entire drive to the adoption center with pascale
. had tears in his eyes when he finally got to hold you in his arms
. so then
. charles leclerc is a father
. the first two years of living with charles was definitely an experience
. you don’t remember much but he tells you how chaotic ages 3-5 were
. about how he basically lived with his mother in his childhood home for those years so she could help him take care of her granddaughter
. how much he loved getting to know you
. finding your favorite foods, toys, shows, ect
. how he loved teaching you his languages
. (he raises you in french, italian, and english, particularly in that order)
. how he cried when he dropped you off for day care and kindergarten the first time
. how he loved helping you know him
. like playing songs on his piano for you
. teaching you how to play different sports
. or watching old formula 1 races together
. speaking of formula 1
. you were raised racing
. charles bought you your first kart when you were six
. brought you to your first f1 race when you were five
. actually, charles had a love-hate relationship with bringing you to races with him during the early years of having you
. because on one hand
. there’s thousands of cameras around during a race weekend, and charles doesn’t want you televised 24/7
. and there’s also hundreds of people around him while he’s in the paddock, and he wants none of them near you
. it’s also hard to give you his full attention during race weekends
. which is something he always wants to do
. so he’s against the idea at first
. but on the other hand
. he can’t bear being apart from you for a few hours, nonetheless a few days or sometimes weeks
. and he knows you don’t really understand what’s going on, only that your dad puts on a red suit and drives a very fast car for a hour and half
. but he loves coming back to the garage to see you sitting with andrea, clad in ferrari merch and big headphones with a happy grin on your face
. it cheers him up no matter what happened on track
. and he knows he has lots of people willing to look out for you while he’s busy
. because you instantly became beloved by the grid the moment charles walked in with you in his arms
. who’s carlos sainz and pierre gasly?
. you only know uncle carlo and uncle pear
. uncle lew, uncle max, the list goes on
. although charles never lets you out of the ferrari garage
. his closest friends come in and visit you often
. sometimes because your dad asked, sometimes just because they want to
. also, speaking of max
. you met penelope during the winter break when you were five
. and even though she’s three years older than you
. she instantly became like your older sister
. and suddenly charles and max hang out a lot more often for the sake of their daughters
. anyway, the early years of living with charles were still chaotic, but he says that those years contain some of his favorite memories
. he loved watching you grow up
. sending you to primary school
. watching you kart on the same track he drove on when he was your age
. spending many afternoons at his mother’s house with his brothers
. (arthur and lorenzo are the best uncles by the way)
. watching you discover your own passions, whether that be racing or not
. traveling around the world with you, both to race and to explore
. watching you become independent, speaking up for yourself and what you believe in
. it all goes by very fast for charles
. and suddenly you’re a teenager
. by now charles is close to/about to retire
. so you don’t spend that much time in the paddock as a teenager
. but the times that you do are very fun
. instead of staying in charles’s team garage, you explore the paddock with penelope, who’s still an older sister to you
. you befriend all the newer drivers
. and hang out with whichever drivers are left from the grid when you first got adopted
. however, the drivers that charles has been friends with and have retired by now
. lewis, daniel, carlos, pierre, max, george, alex, lando
. you’ve formed your own big family with them and their kids
. because almost all of you live in monaco, you see each other often
. you guys go on vacations together when you don’t have school
. holidays on private beaches and expensive yachts
. or at booked-out ski resorts and mountain lodges
. you and penelope are the oldest, and are mostly in charge of looking after the youngest kids
. but you don’t mind, you love them
. it’s your own little f1 community
. but this is barely the beginning of having charles as a father
. he loves embarrassing you, for one
. at first glance, it might seem cool to have your dad come pick you up from school in a ferrari
. until he gets out in strangely pattered pants and a shirt that will never match
. “papa, do you not have anything else in your closet?”
. “what do you mean? you don’t like?”
. he says it keeps you humble
. you say he should just stay in the car next time
. charles does make sure you’re humble and grateful for everything you have
. but he doesn’t help by spoiling you to death
. you like something from the new gucci collection? it’s yours
. new dior bracelet you said is pretty? your birthday gift
. you think aruba looks nice? where do you think you two spend your next summer vacation
. “papa, when I said I wanted a break from school, I didn’t mean in italy”
. “but mon petit soleil, you are relaxed now, non? you’ll be back by monday, don’t worry”
. whether it be italy or not, wherever you go, charles tries to keep you as safe as possible
. he’s always been cautious of fans and paparazzi around you, no matter how old you are
. making sure you’re holding on to him when a crowd comes out from no where and gets too close for comfort
. keeping you by his side when there’s paparazzi around
. and doing whatever it takes to make sure you’re safe and happy at home/school/in the paddock
. anyway
. I could go on and on about being charles’ daughter
. but the point is that he loves you
. you’re y/n jules leclerc
. his petit soleil
. he couldn’t imagine his life without you

For my first career for TS3, I decided to go with the Call Center path which I was already familiar with due to my previous job working at one. This is a vanilla career; meaning no opportunities, events, books nor custom uniforms because those are a lot harder to deal with for a first timer.
This career was made with patch 1.42 and it should work for higher patches as long as you have the latest version of NRAAS Careers Mod. Please be advised that you will need NRAAS Careers Mod for this career to show up in the game, click here.
The career is based at the Business and Journalism rabbit hole with the same uniforms used for the Business career, for female Sims refer to the picture above and male Sims click here for reference. This career focuses mostly on the Charisma skill at the start, which then adds the Logic skill as the career advances to leadership roles.
I have renamed all typical tones such as Power Work and Take It Easy, etc. and have added three custom tones called: Practice Call Scripts, Conduct Evaluation and Strategy Review that will increase charisma and logic respectively.
I'm not fluent in any other languages to translate so if anyone is interested in translating this career, please don't hesitate to send me a message here or comment on this post and will let you know the details.
I have tested this career in my game, so far it is working and all scripts are showing up. As this is my first career, all feedback is very welcome to help me learn and improve my skills so please let me know if you experience any problems on your end and I’ll do my best to sort it as soon as possible.

This big mansion is all to yourself. A dozen bedrooms and bathrooms, a big movie theater, a gorgeous indoor pool, a luxurious spa next to it, and that’s barely scratching the surface. Why do you need all this? Well, you don’t. You’re more than happy with living in a two-bedroom house that you can craft to your liking instead of a big place like this.
You make so much money that you had no other choice but to put it toward your dream house. Your heels click on the clean tiled floor as you walk into your sleek office where you know a hoard of emails are waiting for your response. For someone who is the CEO of the best jewelry company this country has ever seen, you have a shit ton of work you need to do.
Your passion in life is to make jewelry for people to feel beautiful in. It all started in the basement of your parent’s house like every other great company has. The first people you ever made jewelry for were your parents with jewels you found while camping one summer. They were so impressed that they told their immediate family who were interested in you doing this for them.
They told their friends who told their kids who told their friends and soon, everyone in town was lining at your door for your jewelry. That’s when you started taking commissions only for people who are willing to pay which is how you were able to buy your first car with your own money. Yes, you got a job when you turned seventeen so you can get experience under your belt even though you could live off what you were making on your jewelry sales.
Once the business got big enough to work out of your parent’s basement, you used your money to buy a small space in the local mall where you could extend your services to more people. You hired a few of your friends to help you with the business for a few years, and the company was only getting bigger.
It got to the point where you bought yourself your own building, and hired a call center team, IT services, mailroom workers, and a whole fleet of teams who could do the work you were doing back in high school. You named yourself the CEO of Shining Star Jewelry and retired at an early age.
You’re doing pretty well for yourself and you don’t like to hide it. You sit down at your desk and work on answering emails for a couple of hours. Afterward, you’ll make yourself some dinner and take a hot bath while watching your favorite TV show. The first hour goes by quicker than you thought it would, and you look at the time with a yawn. Maybe you can get away with cutting it an hour early.
You’re about to log out of your account when your security cameras pick up something in your backyard. Two men are in your backyard with a big black duffel bag slung over their shoulders with the intention of breaking in and stealing shit. They smash the back door and walk inside your home.
You’re not sure what to do in this situation. Do you hide? Do you run? Do you call someone? Your security alarm is set up to send a silent alarm to the local police if you don’t turn it off, so the police are coming either way. The only problem is, you’re not sure how long it will take them to get here.
Your fight or flight response kicks in and you choose to run in hopes they don’t find you. However, luck isn’t on your side because as soon as you step foot out of your office, both men stand in your way.
“Lookie lookie what we got here,” one of the men says.
They’re both wearing skull bandanas that they have tied over their face so that the only thing showing is their eyes.
“Take anything you want. Please don’t hurt me,” you beg.
“Tie her up,” one of them says.
The bigger man grabs your arm harshly and yanks you into your office. He takes out some rope, duct tape, and zip ties that will be used to subdue you. You have no clue if you’re going to lose your life, get raped, get injured, or whatever they have planned. Instead of fleeing like your body is telling you to do, you allow the man to do whatever he wants to do to you in hopes that he doesn’t hurt or kill you. He ties your ankles together with zip ties, your wrists are tied with rope very tightly, the zip ties your ankles to your wrists so you can’t use your hands, and duct tape is wrapped around your eyes and mouth so you’re forced to breathe through your nose.
“Are you done?”
“Yeah.”
“Let’s go. A place as nice as this must have good security alarms. The police will be here any minute.”
Both men leave you alone in your office to wonder what they’re taking and where they are. You have a lot of nice expensive shit everywhere that they can make a lot of money off of, but there is so much of it that they can’t possibly take it all before the police come.
Twenty agonizing minutes later, you hear police sirens outside your house. You’re not sure if the two men are gone, and if they are, you hope your cameras caught which way they went. Two officers knock on your front door to check if you’re alright. You try screaming as loud as you can but the duct tape is preventing you from making a lot of noise.
“Check around back,” one of the officers say.
Both of them split up to see if there is any disturbances only to meet at the back door which is shattered with glass all over the ground.
“NYPD! We’re coming inside!”
Both of them train their guns in front of them as they walk inside. They stick together and sweep each room one by one until they get to your office. They walk in and aim their guns at you thinking you’re one of the intruders.
“Shit,” the first officer curses and holsters his gun. He kneels next to you and takes the duct tape off first. “You’re okay, Miss. We’re here to help.”
“I couldn’t fight back,” you cry. “I am so scared.”
“I understand. Robles, help me with the zip ties.”
Both officers remove you from your ties. They didn’t kill you. Why? Paramedics come so they can check you out while more officers come to gather intel on what items the burglars stole, where they went, and who they could be. After the paramedics clear you, a female officer sits down with you in your living room.
“I know you must be scared out of your mind, but do you mind if I ask you some questions?”
“No.”
“Okay. Do you remember what the intruders looked like?”
“They had masks covering their face. I could only see their eyes. They were wearing skull bandanas around their faces. One was really big. He’s the one who shoved me into my office. The other one was really skinny. I probably weigh more than him,” you scoff. A look of realization comes over the officer’s face. “What?”
“Excuse me.”
She gets up and walks over to another officer. She whispers to him but the sound carries over to you so you’re able to hear her.
“Call the FBI. They’ve struck again.”
You’re not sure what’s going on or why the FBI needs to come here for two people stealing shit but you have no choice but to wait for them to arrive. They’re coming from Quantico, Virginia which is only an hour by plane. Three agents go to your house while the rest are set up in the NYPD station.
“Agents, thank you for coming.” You look to the left and see the most gorgeous woman you’ve ever seen. Blonde hair, slim, and from what you can tell blue eyes. “I’m Detective Faulkner.”
“I’m Agent Hotchner. These are Agents Jareau and Morgan.”
“You told me over the phone that this matches the other crime scenes?”
“Yes. My men found Miss Y/N in her office with duct tape over her mouth and eyes with rope and zip ties. The intruders wore skull bandanas. I read through the files that they’ve been hitting houses up and down the coastline, right?”
Two men have been hitting rich houses and stealing billions of dollars worth of things. They don’t kill their victims, but it’s suspected that they sell the items and use the money for their trafficking business.
“Yes.” JJ’s eyes look over at you and you look away to prevent her from seeing your blush. “Is this her?”
“Yes. She’s pretty shaken up.”
“I got it,” JJ says to her team and walks to you alone. “May I sit?”
“Please.”
“My name is Jennifer Jareau. I’m with the FBI.”
You’re still scared and traumatized at what happened to you, but you’re not going to let her know. She is too gorgeous to worry about you crying. Her eyes are bluer up close and her cheeks are rosy which comes from a natural tint rather than makeup blush.
“Jennifer? That’s a beautiful name. It’s suiting,” you flirt.
“Thank you,” she blushes deeper. “Can you walk me through what happened?”
You tell her exactly what you told the female officer earlier.
“After they tied me up, all I kept thinking was this is it. This is when I’m gonna die. I haven’t had time to look through my things but I had some pretty valuable items, most of which can be replaced. Is it true?”
“Is what true?”
“That these men have been doing this to a lot of other people?”
“Yes. They only hit victims who have millions to billions of dollars to their name, and they just so happen to strike in the richest city in America.”
“Yeah, I try to have the best security defenses but sometimes that doesn't even stop people.”
“We’re going to work hard in catching these guys and returning your items back to you,” she promises.
“Well, I appreciate that.” She moves her long hair out of the way to reveal she has a sparking diamond necklace on. That twinkle can only be found in one place, and you smile flirtatiously. “That necklace is beautiful.”
“Thank you. I got it for my birthday last year.”
“I knew I recognized it. I designed it. It makes your eyes sparkle.”
“You have good taste, then,” she blushes.
“Beautiful jewelry for a beautiful woman.”
JJ can’t help but smile at your compliment. She has to admit, she was taken aback by your beauty when she first saw you. You’re a victim on a case she’s working so she can’t pursue you but after the case… you never know.
JJ and her team work tirelessly to capture the two unsubs before they move on to the next state. They’ve been hitting one or two big houses in each city, only choosing two cities in each state, and they’re moving across state lines which is why the FBI is involved. They normally deal with serial killers and psychopaths, never really touching on serial burglars. You’re the first person in this city to have been hit, so they’re going to hit one more person before moving to the next big city in New York.
After the police left, you tried to go back to your everyday life without possession of your things, but you tried. The press got hold of the story pretty quickly so your PR team is working endlessly to try and get behind the story before your name is dragged through the mud. You’re on your way out the door when you get a call from an unknown number.
“This is Y/N,” you answer.
“Hi, it’s Jennifer from the FBI.”
“Oh, to what do I owe the pleasure?” you smile.
“Do you mind coming down to the station right now? It’s about the robbery.”
You don’t have to look at the time to know you always have time for her.
“Of course. I’m on my way.” You drive straight to the police station which is only a ten-minute drive. You walk inside and greet one of the officers. “I’m here to see Agent Jareau.”
“Y/N, I’m glad you could make it,” JJ smiles.
“I wasn’t busy. What did you need me for?”
“We realize the burglars are going to be hitting another house soon, and we need your help locating some people.”
“Do I get to work with you?”
“If you’d like.”
“No offense to the others, but they’re not as pretty as you are,” you wink. JJ blushes once again at your compliment and leads you to an empty conference room. “So, when you mean ‘some people’ do you mean ‘rich people’? As in, do I keep in touch with any other rich folk in the city?”
“Yeah,” she says sheepishly.
“Don’t be embarrassed. I actually like to keep a record of all of my competitors in the area including who has enough money to overthrow my company.”
“I don’t think that can happen. Your jewelry is one-of-a-kind.”
“That’s very sweet of you, Jennifer, but there are a lot of people who seem to think they can outshine me.”
“Right. Who’s on your list?”
“This list is gonna cost you. Would it be too much if I asked you to go grab coffee with me? You know, like a date?” JJ’s mouth opens and closes as she tries to search for an answer. Her pale skin darkens deliciously, making you think if the rest of her skin is the same way. “I’m sorry but you’re gorgeous. When I see something I like, I grab it before someone else does.”
“Look, I’m flattered you asked me on a date, but I don’t think it would be very professional since I am working on your case. It would raise suspicions to my boss, and I don’t want to ruin anything for anyone.”
“Completely understandable. What about after?”
“We’ll talk then,” she smiles.
You give her the list of every known millionaire and billionaire in the area that you have numbers for. If someone has money, you make it your business to know who they are. The list is handed to their technical analyst, Penelope Garcia, to see if she can narrow down the very long list. The list you have in New York City alone is over seven hundred residents who are targets for this duo-team.
With Penelope’s help, that number is drastically decreased to less than fifty using the parameters they are searching for. The FBI and NYPD work on calling every person on that short list to make sure they know what’s going on and how they’re a potential target. All of them answer but one, and that’s the one that the FBI is going after thinking the two unsubs are going there.
From what you gathered, they were in the middle of a heist with bags of jewels, cash, and other expensive items when the FBI and NYPD showed up. They’re not killers but they don’t like to be cornered. If they really do work for a trafficking ring, being caught is worse than being dead, so they decided to shoot their way out.
One of them died and the other was apprehended and arrested.
They haven’t had time to sell any of the possessions they stole while in New York, so all of your items were returned back to you. Your PR team used this to your advantage to make this seem like a happy ending for you in the eyes of society. If the public can sympathize with you, then you won’t face backlash for something that wasn’t your fault to begin with.
It isn’t fair but that’s the way the world is.
JJ escorted you back home when you told her you didn’t feel safe going back there alone. She took this as an opportunity to be alone with you knowing it’s why you asked her to take you home in the first place.
“I appreciate you taking me home,” you say when she walks you up the stairs to your front door.
“I didn’t want you to feel unsafe.”
“I want you to know I will be working with my team to increase security here so we don’t have this issue again. Though, it’s such a shame to see you go. I thought we were having fun.”
“We were,” she smiles.
“Here, take this.” You reach into your purse and grab one of your business cards and a pen. You scribble your personal phone number on it since your cards only have your business phone number. “I can work remotely anywhere in the world or not at all. It’d be a real tragedy if I never got to see you again. I hear Virginia is nice this time of year. I’d love to take you out.”
“I’d like that, too.”
“Call me.” You open your front door and step inside. “Or if you have some time right now, would you like to come in for some coffee?”
She looks at her watch and shrugs.
“I got some time,” she smiles and steps inside.

~The coffee shop in my heart~
fem!coffee shop employee x Prohero!Bakugo
Tumblr media
Just 3 more hours, you thought to yourself. 3 more hours and I get to go home and snuggle with my cat. You sigh, wiping up the remains of a broken glass a kid dropped on the floor. You’ve been working since 6am, its now 3pm, and understandably, you weren’t a bundle of sunshine right about now. A hectic day filled with entitled customers, and screeching little demons kids running wild, and your shitty boss on top of everything else. The only think keeping you going is the vacation you were almost saved up for, just a few more days of dealing with this bullshit and beach here I come!!
Returning to your spot at the cash register, you continue taking peoples orders. “YOU BITCH, THIS ISN’T WHAT I WANTED, GIVE ME A REFUND AND MAKE ME SOMETHING ELSE.” an angry man screamed at you, entitled people are just the best...
“Sir, as I said several times, as much as I would hate love to fix your issue, I’m just the cashier here, I’m not the one who made your drink. However, cannot give you a refund if that is exactly what you ordered, you asked for a white chocolate mocha, and that’s what you got. We do not give refunds if you don’t like the drink. We give refunds if there’s a mistake, allergy concern, or if the drink was made wrong. Now please either step to the side or vacate the premises, you’re holding up the line.” It took everything in you to remain polite to the man screaming in your face, if he didn’t like white chocolate mochas, why would he order one? You questioned, annoyed as hell.
Said man, ignoring everything you just said, continues to demand a refund, screaming at you for the next few minutes. Everyone else in line left from the scene, but the familiar chime of the bell above the door rings, indicating a new customer. Too busy to greet said customer, you ask the man to leave again, getting fed up with his shit.
“Oi” a gruff voice booms, catching yours and the mans attention.
“What do you want-” the man spins around to confront the man interrupting his tantrum only to freeze in place.
“Leave. Now. I got places to fuckin’ be.” The ash blonde man voices, menacingly.
The male Karen stomps out, admitting defeat. Wanting to thank your savior, you take a look at him, only to be met with piercing vermilion eyes. The man was tall, and was on the bulkier side with ash blonde hair. he came dressed in a black sweatshirt and some tech-wear pants. He was hot. “You gonna fucking take my order, or are you gonna keen drooling?” Then man asks sarcastically, apparently you zoned out. You roll your eyes at the remark and scoff, patience running thin from your encounters earlier.
“What do you want?” you ask, no longer using your cheery customer service voice, you were drained.
“Coffee. Black.” the man states, pulling out his sleek black card.
“I need a name please,” you write the order and give it to the barista.
“Bakugo.” Bakugo states gruffly. nice name, you note. While your coworker is in the back making the drink, you’re left to make small talk.
“I wanted to thank you for earlier, he wasn’t the most pleasant.” your customer service voice back on in full swing.
“Cut that shit out. Its annoying as hell.” You look at the man confused, a little irritated. “The act dipshit.” So much for thanking him...
“And here I thought you were a nice guy helping me out by getting rid of the man. But I guess first impressions aren’t everything now are they?” you question, looking at the man. “Since you don’t want the “act,” this is what I think. I rather be anywhere but here dealing with your obnoxiousness rude self centered ass.” Grabbing the cup from your coworker, you hand it to him with a cheery fake smile and voice “Have a great rest of your day.” walking to the kitchen and exiting out the back door. Finally your shift was over.
You were surprised the man they called Bakugo never reported what you said to your manager. What surprised you EVEN more was when he came back the next day... and the next... and the next...It became a daily thing, this went on for about 2 months. Everyday, he would walk in, order a black coffee, and annoy the shit out of you an hour. But the most surprising thing out of all of this is you started to like him being there.
“Oi, dumbass” Bakugo greeted, in his own, interesting way.
“What’s this? No more “extra”? I’ve upgraded” You feign shock. Bakugo rolls his eyes and asks for his usual.
You feel a pair of eyes on you. While your taking Bakugo’s order, come to think of it, you’ve felt eyes on you all day. Confused by the attention, you turn to meet eyes with the man. The same guy who cussed you out before. Looking at the man, you weren’t mentally prepared for what this motherfucker was about to do. He picked up a glass of water, looked you dead in the eye and dumped it on the table.
You were going to kill him.
You ball your hands into a fist, resisting the urge to punch his lights out. “I don’t get paid enough for this shit. ” As you’r about to walk over there with the rag you retrieved, a certain blonde snagged the rag from your hands, stomping over to where the guy sat. “Clean it the fuck up.” Bakugo growls, throwing the rag at him. ‘You thought he would’ve learned his lesson the first time, but apparently not.’ You thought to yourself while watching the man clean up the mess he made...

Would That I
Tumblr media
This is chapter one of my fic Blue Moon It is a Mafia!Crocodile fic so this will be an 18+ fic MDNI
Words: 1.3k
When it comes to stressful situations, you are no stranger to it. You have 2 jobs and work every day. During weekdays, you worked at your main job as a caregiver at the local senior center. The weekends were spent working at an elite diner as a server. You didn't really like using your name as a server, so you simply went by dollface. It was something you were called by almost all your customers and a few of the seniors at the assisted living center.
You were used to this life. It's how things were for the past 8 months. Rent has gone up at your shabby, run-down place. Although your family has had open arms with you staying with them, you wanted to pursue your dreams of being a nurse in a big city. It was a struggle but you are now doing amazing on your own.
Today was a crazy weekend. It was busy for some reason. More men and more fancy people are sitting in your section, throwing out complex drink orders and then getting mad when there are too many ice cubes in their drinks. Your feet ached, your back started to hurt, and your arms felt heavy from carrying heavy food trays. Today was horrible and you were only 2 hours into your 6-hour shift.
“Sanji, I need mashed potatoes with brown gravy, and please hurry, this table is on my last nerve,” you say as you set a tower of dishes in the sink.
“Dollface, I'm trying my best here! We have a full house and a line out the door. Expect a mistake or two, mi amor,” he winked and slid a small side dish of mashed potatoes.
“Thank you,” you rolled your eyes and grabbed the dish. “Corner!” you shout as you walk out of the kitchen. You walked through the restaurant, weaving around the tables, avoiding guests and other servers.
You drop the side dish off and walk away from the table. You watch the host set a group of men in your section and you groan. Waiting for the host to return to the stand, you went over and started pouting. “You double-seated me!”
“We’re having a full house and a line out the door, you're going to get double seated,” he said annoyed.
“No, you idiot. We have a system. You have double-sat me all night and I'm getting fed up with it. I’m telling Zeff this shit you're pulling on me,” you snap and walk away to the table that was just sat. You pull out your tiny notebook and pen. Your lips turn into your best customer service smile and you greet the men, “Good evening gentlemen. You can call me Dollface, I'll be taking care of you all tonight! What can I get you all to drink?”
The men eye you and chuckle to themselves. They all say their drink order, and you write it all down. You spin on your heels and walk away, heading to the kitchen. Your smile fades and you slam the door open.
“Zeff!” you march your way to the back and into his office.
“Y/n, what can I do for you?” he sets his pen down and pushes his glasses to rest on his head.
“This stupid, naive host you hired is doing a dog shit job of seating. I have been double-sat over 5 times tonight. I understand we are busy and it's bound to happen once, ONCE! But over 5 times. It's pissing me off.”
He simply nods his head and leans back. “And what's the problem with that?”
“Wh.. what's the problem with that?! I have been sitting in groups no smaller than 5 since the rush started, I am running food constantly, and I am neglecting tables that are ready to order because I have to do trip after trip to a single table. The Baratie is an elite dining experience. Not a bar. Fix this or I quit.” you walk out of his office and start working on the drinks.
You huff and walk out of the kitchen yelling corner as you carry the tray on your shoulders. You approach the table and smile, handing out the drinks. “Are you gentlemen ready to order?” you say tucking the tray under your arm.
“Steak, medium rare, doll,” a gruff voice at the table says. You look up and meet his gaze. The scar across his face makes you question what happened. He takes the cigar out of his mouth and puffs out the smoke, “why are you staring gorgeous? Am I ugly or something?” he chuckles.
“No! So sorry, rough night…” you say quietly as you write his order down.
Your mind is racing about this man in front of you. You've swear you've seen him before. You just couldn't figure out where or if it was him you saw. After everyone has stated their order, you walk back to the kitchen and hand Sanji your ticket. He looks at it and hands it to someone else.
“I got kicked off the line. Zeff told me to take your place,” he says annoyed.
You stare at him with no emotion as you take your apron off. You slam it on the counter and walk out. You make sure to tell your tables that you are off and that Sanji will be taking over.
“Sorry to bother your conversation gentlemen, but I am here to inform you that I am heading out for the night and the person replacing me, his name is Sanji, thank you for a lovely night and I hope you enjoy your meals.” you force a smile on your face.
“You sayin' I don't get the chance to be served by a beautiful woman like yourself anymore tonight? A shame, I had high hopes for this evening,” the man with the scar states as he begins to sit up. He pulls out a wad of cash and sets it on the table. He straightens out his coat and walks away. He towered over you as he walked past you. He smelt like cigars, vanilla, and cedar. You clear your throat and walk away from the table.
You walk back to the kitchen and grab your purse and belongings from the small area it was in. You tell your coworkers good night as you leave through the back.
Your mind is swirling, your heart is pounding as you walk home. The way he looked at you, the small smirk on his lips as you approached the table, made your heart flutter and your knees weak. You throw your head back and groan. You're annoyed at yourself for feeling like this about someone.
As the sun began to set, you were in your apartment making a small dinner and drinking more wine than you should’ve. You sit on an old chair you bought, watching the colors in the sky change until they're turning a deep violet, signifying it is time to retire for the night. Yet, you didn't want to go in. You enjoyed the breeze, the smell of the world around you consuming you. It was relaxing. Your lips rested on the glass in front of you. You stared off into the night, watching couples, kids, families, and people walking from store to store, shop to shop. It was oddly quiet, yet you had no problem with it. It was peaceful.

Or if you have an idea for me, send it over when requests open again!

As an event planner, and a bride, I’m throughly impressed with how our wedding has turned out.
When Timo suggested on Day 2 of Lio’s life that we get married before the season, I looked at him like he was crazy. But then, Rhea came to visit us in the hospital. I casually mentioned the possibility of a small, September wedding to her. My best friend’s eyes began to sparkle.
“Just say go and I’ll get it together.” She held her hands in front of her face like she was pleading with me.
Timo said go before I could stop him.
The reality of it all coming together was better than if I had two years to plan it. Rhea and I called in favor after favor from our contacts. Our beloved vendors showed up in droves, offering their services despite the quickness to create a perfect day for us. The biggest surprise was the availability of the Storchen in Zurich. Their gorgeous banquet room easily houses the 75 people who are here to celebrate our nuptials. It’s a smaller group because of the timing, which is tine with us. Timo and I would have been fine just us and Lio.
I’m grabbing another glass of champagne at the bar, taking the opportunity to appreciate our work. It really has been the best day. From getting ready, to the first look and our written vows, even when Lio spit up on Timo’s jacket and he had to go without for the ceremony. It was all perfect. I wouldn’t have changed a thing.
“Here you are. Congratulations, Emma!” Marc, the bar manager, cheers me with a wink.
“Thank you. For everything today.”
“Only for you. We are going to miss you.”
“I’ll be back.” I nod earnestly.
And I will be. While Rhea is running our business in Switzerland, I’ll be launching it in New Jersey. I’m both excited and terrified at the prospect of going international with the little business I formulated out of college. Timo keeps assuring me there is no way I can fail. Not when we are together.
My lips twist up at the thought. I turn, leaning back against the bar and seeing my husband across the room in conversation with Nico and Philipp Kurashev. He looks so damn good tonight. I can barely wait to have him. He’s standing next to the wall of windows, sipping a drink and listening to Nico speak. A chuckle shakes his shoulders. His gaze lifts, scanning the people until his blue eyes rest on me. He scans along my body, smiling bigger in recognition of my look. He tosses me a wink.
But there is no more game to play. We’ve already caught each other for life.
He moves back into conversation with my brother, adding something that makes both Nico and Phillipp laugh. I bite my lip, deciding I’m done not being the center of his attention. My brown eyes feast on my husband as I approach the three men. Timo laughs loudly and then takes a long pull from his whiskey. As he lowers the glass, his blue gaze finds me closer than before. Timo steps through the circle, completely uninterested in the conversation now that I’m within touching distance.
“Mrs. Meier.” It’s more than a greeting. The tone of his voice is ecstatic as his lips find mine. I sigh, melting briefly into his chest. One of his hands slides down my side to my ass, resting there confidently.
“Your wife needs help.” I breath out when we pull apart.
“With?”
“Getting out of this dress.” His eyes deepen before scanning down my body.
“Lead the way.”
I slide my hand into his and we begin to walk from the room together. Soon, we are out of the event space and alone in the hall. Timo takes the opportunity to put his lips against my neck. I suck my cheeks in, nibbling briefly before an unstoppable moan falls from my mouth. I stop in front of the bridal suite, hand on the knob, tilting my head more to the side as his lips explore further. His tongue dips into the crook of my neck.
“Open the door.” He murmurs around his kisses. I do as I’m told so we can walk in together. Once the door is shut, he begins tugging at his tie. “You need help with something else besides this dress?” I bite my lip, nodding enthusiastically.
“There are rules to this though.” I say, watching him while trying to keep my desire at bay a little longer. “You need to undo the buttons completely. No ripping.” His eyes narrow slightly but he nods.
“Turn.” He demands as he approaches. I do so and sweep the curled tendrils of my hair into a bun at the nape of my neck. “Remember last time I took a dress off of you?” He presses his mouth to the meaty part of my neck, sinking his teeth in there for a moment.
“Yes, we have a six week old as a daily reminder.” Goosebumps break out onto my skin as I feel Timo’s fingers on the first button. I close my eyes and focus on deep breaths to take the edge off. I want him. Every part of him. Every inch of his skin on mine until the ache I have for him settles into something more bearable. The fabric begins to separate as he works a few more buttons loose. He stops for a moment, leaning forward and placing his lips against the indents bruising my skin.
“Mmm.” I hum. Timo stills.
“Baby.” His voice is a low, warning of a growl. “Let me rip this off you. I will buy you a new one.” My eyes open and meet his in the vanity mirror in front of us. He looks like a man possessed- blue eyes molten, tight jaw, nostrils flared. I shake my head because I can’t say the word no when he is looking at me like that. He sucks his cheeks in and pushes out a heavy exhale before continuing.
His fingers move faster, more careless with each slice of skin exposed to him. Finally, the last button releases and the fabric loosens around my upper body. Timo’s hands slide around, finding my wet folds, brushing each of his fingers against them. I lean back into his chest as he stokes me. His jaw brushes my temple as I feel him pulling steady breaths into his lungs. My eyes open and I watch us together in the mirror. The grip of desire tugs at me from deep within and I pant when he grinds his hips into me. Even through the fabric of my dress, I can feel how hard he is.
“How are you going to fuck your wife for the first time?” I ask into the mirror. He grins as he nibbles against the side of my throat. His fingers stretch my folds open to forcefully press into my clit with his middle finger. My knees buckle, shoving my ass into his hard length.
“Exactly how she likes it.” He says against my wet skin. “Fast… and deep… until she can’t speak.”
With that, I pull my arms from the straps of my dress and turn. Timo wraps his arms around my waist and pulls me up so the dress falls completely to the ground.  He sets me down immediately. I begin tugging at his belt, needing him as quickly as possible. Timo watches me with those same hungry eyes as I pull him from his pants and slide my lips against the plumped head. I only get a few licks and sucks before he is pulling me off of him, guiding me to lean against the back of the couch. He shoves his pants the rest of the way down so they settle around his ankles. Then his hands are on my hips, roughly pulling me back to him. His plumped head bumps against my entrance before he eases me down. My fingers curl into fists at how tightly he fills me.
“You okay?” He groans, aware that we haven’t had sex much since Lio was born. Sure, it’s a little uncomfortable, but I don’t care about that. The pain I need him to ease right now is a tight coil in my abdomen, begging for release. My manicured nails dig deeply into my palms as I assure him I’m fine and plead him to move.
“Fuck. My wife feels incredible.” He praises. He leans over me and begins to fuck me exactly like he told me he would. I reach back, shoving his white shirt away so our bodies can connect fully with no barriers.
“T, I’ve been needing you like this all day” I cry. I feel his chest rumble with agreement along with a breathy kiss on my neck. “Just like that.” I encourage him as each thrust fills me completely. I wrap my hand around the back of his neck, then turn to wetly kiss his mouth.
“I can tell. You’re so wet.” He pulls out less and less each time until I feel the coil intensify to the point I can’t breathe. His balls slap me hard with each intense thrust. My mouth fades away from his as I feel the release begin. It crashes into me, rushing through my veins, tightening my nipples and making my husband groan deep in his chest. His grip on my hips is powerful as I feel his warm cum coat my walls. He pushes out a strangled breath, resting his forehead against my back. For a few moments, only our heavy breathing fills the room. Finally, Timo raises his head, placing kisses along my back where the divots are still present from my dress.
I stand to my full height and turn to drape my arms around his shoulders. He slides his arms around me, hands pressing me tightly to him. I lay my cheek against his chest. We sway gently, holding one another intimately after the best day of our lives.
“That was spectacular.” I murmur to him.
“That was just round one, baby.” He smooths my hair delicately as he talks.
“Good. Because I have something for you later that you’ll like.” I smile coyly, thinking of the bridal lingerie I purchased for us.
“We don’t… need to go back right? We can just leave and head to bed.”
“No.” I narrow my eyes at him, pulling away. “Plus, some things are worth the wait.”
“I hate waiting to have you.” He teasingly snarls his lip at me. I shrug my shoulders which makes my breasts dance against the buttons of his shirt. My nipples tighten into large points. Timo pouts, knowing they’re off limits. I chuckle lightly, stepping away from him. He immediately reaches for my hand, tugging me back into his chest. His ocean eyes drink me in- sparkling eyes, pink cheeks, and smudged lip paint from his kisses. The smile he gives me has my knees weak. “How am I lucky enough to have you forever?”
“I was just wondering the same thing.” I lean forward and give him a sweet, sincere kiss. His hand travels down, grabbing a fistful of my bare butt. “Love you, T. For the rest of my life.” We stare at each other for another few moments before a knock sounds at the door. Timo turns so my naked body is shielded by his.
“Hey! Meiers! It’s cake time!” I hear Rhea’s voice come through the door. “Quit fucking and get out here!” She doesn’t even give us a chance to respond before she is off down the hallway again, laughter following her steps.
“I think our reputation has caught up with us.” I press a final kiss to his lips before crossing the room for my reception dress. It’s ivory fabric that drapes to mid calf. The A line cut gives way to sleeves that drape along my biceps for an off the shoulder look. I slide into it then turn to my husband for him to zip me up. I rearrange my diamond necklace and kick off my heels to slide into sparkling, pink sneakers. I turn to Timo for his approval.
“Perfect.” I nod in appreciation, then walk across the room to retouch my lipstick.
In the meantime, Timo redresses in his pants. He works the buttons of his shirt down so it isn’t tight against his throat anymore. He sheds his tie and rolls up his sleeves to expose his tan forearms. I pause from replacing the cap on my lipstick as he finishes the last roll of his shirt. Our eyes meet in the mirror again and we share a familiar smile.
“Ready, Mrs. Meier?” He reaches a hand out for me- the hand I get to hold for the remaining decades in my life. I click the cap into place and nod.
“Ready, Mr. Meier.” We both giggle then begin a leisurely walk to rejoin our party.
_ _ _
Our honeymoon is set to begin in under an hour, but Timo and I are struggling to get out of bed after our late night.
I’m feeding Lio, ghosting my fingers over his nose at each one of his suckles. Timo is scrolling through our reservations for Italy, making sure everything is in order before we leave. We picked Italy because it’s nostalgic for both of us. We have spent numerous family vacations there growing up, plus we didn’t want to be too far away from Lio for our first time away.
“Do you need anything?” Timo asks me, looking at Lio, surprised at seeing him still actively eating. He’s definitely in a growing stage.
“No, we are okay.” I assure him. I take my hand off Lio’s face, lacing my fingers with Timo’s left hand. I bring it to my face, kissing along his fingers while he checks the last reservation.
“Okay, I think we are all set.. whenever he is done.” As Timo says that, Lio releases, moving his face away.
“Magic!” I grin at my husband, handing Lio over.
Timo begins to pace the room with our son, exclaiming excitedly at every burp that works out of his little body. When he is done, they both return to the bed next to me. We soak in every little noise and expression on our baby’s face. A few bubbles of drool collect on his lips as he wiggles awkwardly around in my arms. Timo reaches out to wipe the the spit from Lio’s chin. My eyes catch the silver wedding ring around his finger. I turn to him, pressing my lips to his cheek. He works his lips over to mine, gliding his tongue along the seam of my mouth.
“Mmm, just like I thought last night. You taste better as my wife.” He murmurs. I wrinkle my nose in appreciation. Rounds 2 and 3 were pretty damn good.
“Maybe we can change our plans and take him with us?” I question, searching his blue eyes as a crease appears between his brows.
“No. I don’t want to share you. Not even with the world’s cutest baby.” As if on cue, Lio blows spit bubbles, shoving his tongue out at us.
“He doesn’t want us to leave.” I giggle, bringing him up to my face to kiss his cheek.
“How we gonna give him a sibling if he’s in the room with us the whole time?”
“Shut your beautiful mouth. I am not doing that again right now.”
Timo’s laughter fills our room as I pant in exasperation.
“Next year?”
“Maybe.” I respond, brushing Lio’s brown locks off his forehead. His eyes close at my touch, snuggling deeper into my propped thighs.
“We need to go soon.” Timo reminds me.
“Five more minutes, daddy.” He nods, as I manuever my head into his lap. As he strokes his fingers through my hair, he lays his head against the headboard, eyes closing. We are quiet together, listening to Lio’s sweet noises as he begins to fall asleep sucking on his hand. “Thank you.” I break the silence, pressing a kiss to Timo’s abdomen. “For all the planned and unplanned parts of our life.”
“Not sure any of this was really planned.” He responds without opening his eyes.
“Maybe not. But I dreamed of it… with you.” His eyes pop open to look down at me. “Two summers ago. On the dock at Nico’s house when he was in Milan. That’s when I fell in love with you.” His smile stretches his lips apart. “Yeah, I know. I suck for not admitting that sooner.”
“No, I.. I knew, Em. That was when you started touching me different. And holding my hand in the car and laying with me for hours in bed, long after you should have kicked me out.”
“I didn’t like watching you leave much after that. It was a peek at our life together. And I liked it.”
“Me too. It’s why I started getting so frustrated with you.”
“How about I make it up to you for the next 60 years?” He sucks in a deep breath, looking at the ceiling like he’s really contemplating. I scoop Lio up to my face to press feathery kisses along his soft head while I wait. Timo watches me as I do this, unable to hide the joy that fills his body.
“Only because you look that beautiful holding our baby.”
“Please, please, please, please let’s take him!”
“No.” Timo insists. “Give him one last smooch and I’m bringing him to Auntie Liss.” I can’t just do one. So after five kisses, we leave the bed and meet Timo’s sister, Larissa, in our kitchen.
“Take him before she tries to smuggle him into the car.” Timo jokes, handing Lio to his sister. “He should be good to go for a couple of hours. Em just fed him and he’s been changed. Hopefully he will be passed out before we leave the driveway.”
“Okay! Are you ready to have some fun, bubs?” She bounces him, lightly patting his butt too. “We will be fine.” She says to where I watch across the room. I bite my lip, giving pleading eyes to my husband.
“You promised me 60 years of make up sex. And you’re paying up starting the minute we check in.”
“That is not what I said!” I widen my eyes at his sister. She shrugs.
“I don’t care what you do as long as it keep giving me these cute babies.”
“Call if you need anything or have any questions or…”
“Bye!” Timo calls as he places his hands on my hips, forcing me backwards.
“One more kiss.”
“You’re making this harder on yourself.” He chuckles.
I know he is right, but it doesn’t make it any easier to leave.
When we arrive in Italy, our hotel staff greets us with enthusiasm. They grab all of our bags, hand us each a cappuccino, and personally escort us to the honeymoon villa on the property. It’s decked out to the nines with charcuterie and snacks. The best part is a bucket of champagne chilling on the table for us along with a box of chocolate covered strawberries. Timo wiggles his eyebrows excitedly at me, grabbing the chilled bottle.
“Wanna grab some glasses, baby?” He asks me, untwisting the metal basket atop the cork.
I glance around, seeing a few wine glasses resting by the fridge.
“These will do.” I insist, setting them in front of him. He gives us both a healthy pour.
“To us. Forever.” He clinks our glasses together as I smirk. I take a big swallow of bubbles, enjoying their explosions along my tongue. “Oh this is excellent.” He nods his head, turning the bottle to look at the label again.
As he does that, I set my glass back on the counter and reach out for the button of his shorts. He quickly turns from the bottle with curious and excited eyes.
“You said pay up right away.” I shrug innocently.
I work his zipper down, then glide my hand into his underwear. I stroke him once, then twice, maintaining eye contact with each pass over his length. I grin when I get him to close his eyes in a long blink. He exhales gently, firming fully in my hand as I stroke my thumb along his thick vein. I lean forward, filling his mouth with my tongue. He matches my aggressive kisses, both of us sucking each others lips.
“I want you down my throat.” I tell him when I pull away. He observes with greedy eyes as I get on my knees. My hair is down, but his hands work it back from my face so he can watch his cock inch into my mouth. His jaw drops open in a strangled groan as I take him all the way back immediately. His abdominal muscles tighten under where my nose bumps into them.
“Baby.” He moans as I wrap my fingers around the base of his shaft, stroking up as my throat wraps around his tip. “Oh fuck.” He jolts as I work his balls over with my other hand. “Again.” He begs me, fingerprints pressing firmly into my neck to push himself deeper. He opens his eyes, looking down at me on my knees. “You look so good right now with my cock in your mouth.” He reaches down to put his hand in my bra, palming my breast. I release his balls to grip his wrist as a reminder my breasts are filled with milk. “I know. Just gonna hold ‘em.”
“Am I being a good wife?” I ask him, dragging my tongue along the vein from base to tip.
“The best. You were made for me, baby.” He holds my chin, sputtering as I rest him against my tongue, wiggling along the cleft of his head.
“This mouth is yours now. Take it.” I sit back on my heels, mouth dropped open, tongue out as he guides himself back in. He widens his stance a bit, then puts his hands on both sides of my head and begins to fuck my mouth. He is gentle at first, then as he gets closer, he is wild. I reach up, gripping my hand tightly along his base and rolling his balls in my hand. His fingers spread along my whole head now, watching each flicker of joy in my eyes at his moans.
“I’m close.” He warns me, but I already know. He is tight and pulsing in my hand, begging for release as he slides a bit further down my throat. I hold back my gag, relaxing my throat so he can get to where he wants to be. I wiggle my tongue along the bottom. He sputters out a grunt, then brings himself a bit out of my mouth so I can collect his cum by stoking him through. I curl my tongue in, bringing the salty ribbons together to show him my collection. Then I fold it all back, swallowing it as he watches with hooded lids.
“When is dinner?” He eventually gathers the words to speak.
“Ten minutes.”
“We need to skip it.” He insists as I tuck him back into place. I work his zipper back up, then replace his button. Besides the taste of him in my mouth, it’s like it never happened. I smile, thinking of the times that used to matter when I would suck him off in the bathroom at Nico’s house before we would return, separately, to whatever party my brother was hosting.
“I need to eat.” I respond. He reaches his hands out for me to take and pulls me to a standing position.
“How? I just fed you.”
“Ah!” I laugh, slapping at his chest. “Let me fix my lipstick and we can head to dinner.”
“Okay, but no pasta. I want you ready to go later.”
“Do not ever tell me what I can and can’t eat.” I snap, pointing my finger at his nose. He still has a faint scar from the big playoff hit two years ago. He rolls his eyes at my exaggeration, feigning like he’s going to bite my finger off.
“You’re going to fall asleep before I can have you, huh? You’ll be like, no let’s just cuddle for a minute, then I’ll be ready.” He mocks me with a loud snore. I scoff. I do not snore. He does since his broken nose.
“Maybe.” I shrug, sauntering to my purse to grab my YSL pink lipstick. “Tell you what. If I do, you can wake me up at 2 am to fuck. Like old times.”
“Deal.” He muses, folding his hands together against my stomach. He rests his chin on my shoulder, watching me in the mirror with adoring baby blues as I stroke the pink onto my lips. “You are so beautiful.” He says against my shoulder as he drops plump kisses along my warm skin.
“It’s cause I’m in love.” I turn my face to him. He gently kisses me, then pulls away completely.
“I’m going to head to the lobby and check in with the front desk about breakfast tomorrow. I’ve got a surprise for you.” He wiggles his brows at me tauntingly. “See you in five minutes?”
“Yeah.”
“Kay. I love you, Emma Meier.” I widen my eyes excitedly at my new name.
“I love you.” I whisper back. He sighs happily, staring at me for another few seconds, then disappears from our room.
After freshening up, I go to where Timo waits for me in the hotel lobby. His back is towards me as I come from the courtyard, admiring him. He’s wearing a white, linen button up shirt, stretched wide across his strong shoulders. His hands are in his khaki pockets, expensive Swiss watch shining in the low lighting. The sun is setting over the rolling, grassy hills in front of him as he gazes out at the Italian country side. I fold my bottom lip into my mouth, taking in the way he commands attention from the other patrons. He looks so expensive and compelling. The rest of the world wishes to know him- what’s going on behind that intense blue gaze.
Sometimes, only I know.
As I approach, I reach out for his arm, threading my hand through to dive into his pocket. Our fingers glide together. I’m blissful as the warm metal of his ring strokes my skin.
“You waiting for someone?” I inquire to him like we are strangers. He dips his gaze to me, ignoring the spectacular beauty dancing in front of us to look only at me.
“Yeah, the love of my life.”
“Ah, I better go then.” I move to leave, but his hand possessively holds me in place.
“You and your fucking jokes.” He mutters against my mouth. My shoulders shake with a silent laugh lost on his tongue.
“You’ve always been mine.” I soothe his mild frustration, gliding my hands along his abdomen to hold the muscular swells of his back. “Will be in our next lifetime too.” He rests his chin on my head in a gentle hug.
“You gonna avoid me for years then too?”
“Probably. You gonna put up with that?” He teases his lips over mine, pulling me tighter to him so I can feel him rigid against my stomach.
We aren’t going to make it to dinner.
“Yeah.” It’s a breathless sigh from his mouth. “What can I say? I’m a sucker for your loving & leaving.”

Worth the Wait
Based on the request by @vr53 who asked for Gale proposing to Astarion and Astarion's feelings leading up to the moment thinking back on their relationship.
Happy reading! ❤️
Worth the Wait
“What’s this?” Gale looked at the small box Astarion had put on the table in front of him.
“Why don’t you open it and find out,” Astarion sat on the edge of the table and nudged it towards him. “Go on. I had it made especially for you.”
Gale put down his fork and moved his plate aside before picking up the box and untying the red ribbon he’d put around it. It was small and when he opened it, inside was a ring. A gold band with a ruby center and diamonds on either side of the gem.
“I…”
“I’ve been so busy with work that I realized I have neglected the most important thing to me,” Astarion reached over and tucked some of Gale’s hair behind his ear. “My wonderful consort.”
Gale managed a small smile. “It’s beautiful Astarion really, but I...it’s a bit much, isn’t it?”
“Nonsense,” Astarion plucked the box from his hands and took out the ring. “How else are people going to see that you’re mine?”
He took Gale’s hand and slid the ring onto Gale’s finger, pleased with himself. “Ah, perfect fit. I was worried I’d have to have it resized, I guessed a bit on the measurement. And you want to know the best part?”
“Everyone knows I’m yours?” Gale asked.
“I’ve had it enchanted,” Astarion answered as he squeezed Gale’s hand. “The only way it comes off is if I take it off or you did something foolish like cut your finger off…”
Foolish...yes…
****
“Gale? Darling?” Astarion shut the door behind him as he walked into the palace and took off his coat.
It’d been a longer than long day and all he wanted to do was have a nice soak with Gale. A little snack and fall asleep with his mage wrapped up tight in his arms. He walked into the main room and saw his office door was closed.
He didn’t hear any sound coming from inside. He checked the kitchen next, sometimes when the mage got a bit antsy he’d do a bit of cooking, but it was empty. He knew it about midweek which meant Gale would have been out in Rivington that day but usually he was home by that point.
“Gale?” Astarion called out. “If you wanted to play hide and seek it’s a good idea to let the other party involved aware of the game.”
He started down the hall leading towards the doors that led out to the garden when they opened of their own accord and Gale paused like a deer seeing a hunter. Astarion eyed him curiously.
His heart rate had sped up briefly upon seeing Astarion before it steadied itself. There were dirt stains on the knees of his pants. His hair pulled back into a messy bun with a few silver strands framing his face.
“You're home,” Gale blinked as if his brain was catching up and then he smiled and shut the door behind him as he walked over to greet Astarion. “Welcome home love.”
“What were you doing out there this late?” Astarion looked between Gale and the door leading to the backyard.
“Hmm? Oh nothing really, taking care of some weeds,” Gale answered. “I was on my way in to clean up.”
“Well, allow me to be of service,” Astarion snaked his arm around Gale, steering the man towards the staircase.
Gale freshened up first while Astarion got the bath ready. Not too hot, he may have been able to withstand the scalding temperature of the water but Gale was only human. It wouldn't do to burn his skin.
He got in first letting out a pleased groan as the water soothed his muscles and held out his hand to Gale once his mage had undressed and walked over. He leaned back against Astarion and shivered as he hugged him tight to his chest.
“How was your day?” Gale turned his head slightly to look at Astarion.
“Hardly worth thinking about,” Astarion answered and stroked Gale’s chest. “I swear I might be the only one with a brain on that council.”
“You are intelligent,” Gale agreed. “Though I admit I’m surprised you haven’t tried to charm any of them.”
“There’s still time,” Astarion titled his head back and closed his eyes. “How was your day my love?”
“Mundane,” Gale shrugged and Astarion listened to the sound of the water sloshing in the tub and felt the mage moving around before settling once more in his lap, knees on either side of him and then fingers running up and down his chest.
They moved upwards towards his throat, and he groaned pleased as Gale squeezed the nape of his neck massaging the sides with his fingers.
“You really are magic,” Astarion sighed.
“I was thinking…” Gale started.
“Dangerous,” Astarion teased. “You’re far too pretty to think.”

Pretty Astute Observations
Tumblr media
Ouef
20:40
“Graham, how would you feel about a partner?” Jack asks stepping in beside Will.
“I’m sorry- what?”
"What if I could pull in a profiler from the BAU to help keep you on track, Dr. Lecter said I’ve been pushing you too hard, and Strauss knows the Behavioral Science Unit is understaffed”
“I don’t need a babysitter Jack.”
“She wouldn't be a babysitter, Will. She’s extremely knowledgeable in her field and has experience similar to your…particular situation. ”
“Another psychiatrist, Jack? Hannibal, too busy for your liking?”
The bell for the following floor rings, and Crawford moves off the platform just before the doors close he says “Not a psychiatrist actually, a marine.” The elevator doors close and Will Graham is left in stunned silence, having just missed his floor and apparently been assigned a new partner.
—-
09:00
“Most of the time in sexual assaults, the bite mark has a livid spot at the center, a “suck bruise”. In some cases it does not. For some killers biting may be a fighting pattern, as much as a sexual behavior.”
Jack slams the class door, open and shouts at the room full of students.
“Ok, class dismissed. Everyone out! What did I just say?! Let’s go!”
“You’re making it difficult to provide an education, Jack.”
Despite the previous evening's barrage by his pseudo-employer will still managed, to put together a lesson plan for the day. Little did he know it would not be necessary.
“ We found a match to a set of prints we pulled from the Turner home. They belong to a thirteen-year-old boy from Reston, Virginia. His name is Connor Frist.”
“Another kid?” Will wondered aloud.
“Another missing kid. Vanished ten months ago, case was never solved.”
“How many kids in the Frist family?”
“Three.”  Will’s head snaps to the door of his classroom, he hadn’t noticed the red-headed woman approach. She had a delicate and sturdy build 5’5, maybe 5’6, and dark jeans and a tank top exposing her muscled biceps as well as the tattoo ‘semper- fi’ wrapping around her left arm just above the elbow. “just like the Turner family.”
“Agent, Lena Gibbs, I’d like to introduce you to Will Graham.”
“It's a pleasure to meet you, Will.” The man offered a nod in return. “Jack eluded to the fact you’ve had experience with empaths.”
“Quite the opposite actually, I spent some time in London with a man who self-identified as a high-functioning sociopath but it's a very similar skill set the two of you possess.”
“Well…we’ll see about that. I’ll meet you at the car.” Will bristles and collects his coat, just barely brushing shoulders with the woman as he makes his way out.
“He’s a tough nut to crack, but he’ll warm up to you.”
“I’m not worried, Crawford. It’s nothing I haven’t experienced before.”
__
“Mr. Frist and the children killed first, saving Mrs. Frist for last. Same as the Turners.”
“Not exactly the same. Something went wrong.”
“Not a single present under the tree for Mrs. Frist…Are we all not going to acknowledge the Navy Brat in the room?”
“Always a pleasure Bev, the unsub took her presents, he took her motherhood.”
“Shooting her once wasn’t enough. The first bullet, travels beneath her scalp…to its final resting place, base of her neck.”
“Do we know the type of bullet? Trace the bullet, trace the possible gun, trace the killer.”
“No, the shell exploded on impact, what we could piece together wasn’t identifiable,” Price told her passing over a small glass jar with bullet pieces rattling inside.
“Do you mind?” She asked. No one in the room answered so she pulled out her phone and called an often-dialed number.
“Fortress of solitude at your service.”
“Hey, Babygirl can I ask a favor?”
“Anything for my favorite agent”
“Don’t let Morgan hear you say that. If I send over some photos of an exploded shell do you think you can use the naval ballistics database to piece it together”?
“I’m insulted you even have to ask.”
“You're the best, Garcia”
“I know.”
Turning back to the stunned room full of BSU agents and in Will’s case, an outsourced professor. “I give it thirty, minutes before we know the bullet type. Not that I don’t have faith in you guys but the Marine Corps has the largest database of fragmented shells and an algorithm made by a forensic analyst at NCIS to predict their shatter pattern, that most of the FBI just doesn't have access to.”
“And how do you have access?!”
“My father,” she answered Zeller before moving back between Jack and WIll. “So who is our additional corpse in the fireplace”?
Will cleared his throat and said “I’d say Connor Frist. He’d been prepped to shoot his mother, not watch her suffer”
“Connor couldn’t put his panic back in the bottle. So he got shot too.
"Whoever shot him…disowned him.”
“Garcia got a hit on the ballistics match.”
“C.J. Lincoln disappeared six months before his mother’s murder. He hasn’t been seen since.”
“ He has none of the characteristics of a sadist or a sociopath.”
“Right, no shoplifting, no malicious destruction of property. No assault, no battery. He was kind to animals, for God’s sake.”
“Firearm says we are looking at Peter Pan to our lost boys.”
“ But it takes a sophisticated level of manipulation to convince young boys to kill their families in cold blood.”
“ Kindness to animals doesn’t suggest that particular kind of sophistication.”
“Well, he’s older, he’s been out in the world. Maybe he picked up a few things.”
13:00
Will walks through the entrance of Dr. Lecter’s practice holding a gift, he drops it by the foot of Hannibal's desk before moving further into the room.
“Good evening, Will. Please come in. Has Christmas come early? Or late?”
“Was for Abigail”
“Was?”
“I thought better of it, I wasn’t thinking straight, I was upset when I bought it. Maybe still am.”
“What is it?”
“A magnifying glass. Fly-tying gear.”
“Teaching her how to fish. Her father taught her how to hunt.”
“That’s why I thought better of it.”
“Pretty paternal, Will.”
“ Aren’t you?”
“Yes. Our good friend Doctor Bloom has advised against taking too personal an interest in Abigail’s welfare. Tell me why are you so angry?”
“I’m angry about being assigned a partner, I’m angry about those boys, I’m angry because I know when I find them, I can’t help them. I can’t, I can’t give them back what they just gave away.”
“A partner?”
“Yeah, Lena Gibbs. Jack introduced her as a marine though.”
“Fascinating…Tell me did she mention anything about the UK”?
“Yeah, actually. How did you-” Hannibal stood from his position to retrieve his tablet, he typed out a phrase and handed the device to his colleague. “I keep an eye on media around the world,” he said, taking in the man's reaction to the words.
“She was engaged to Sherlock Holmes, I’m sure you heard of him. She and a man by the name of John Watson both contributed to Mr. Holmes’s private detective work, right up until the moment he threw himself from St. Bart's hospital, according to speculation he did do to prevent Ms. Gibbs and others from being attacked by a terrorist known as Moriarty.”
“I didn’t take you as one for speculation, Hannibal.”
“Sometimes it’s a necessary measure when secrets are so heavily guarded.”
“Is that a warning?”
“Who said they were her secrets?”
“Well, that's not vague at all.”
“I’m sure with time, you will come to bond with this new partner. Now tell me more about this ‘murder family.’”
“We call them “The lost boys”.
“Ms. Gibbs is likely lost too. And perhaps it can be our responsibility to help her find her way.”
16:00
“Bangor, Maine. Stanford, Connecticut, and recently Reston, Virginia.”
“Right.”
“You’re trying to establish a geographical pattern, when the murders were weeks apart.”
“ Other patterns too. Our shooters are minors middle children from traditional affluent families.”
“ We know they’re moving South, so that means we wanna cover the border of North Carolina and Georgia. We need to get files on every missing boy within two hundred miles of North Carolina.”
“There’s a pattern, less to do with geography than psychology."
“What kind of kid does this?”
"And what kind of kid follows a kid who does this?”
“There’s no indication that these kids came from abusive families.”
“No, no, no. Capture bonding. A passive psychological response to a new master has been an essential survival tool for a million years. Bond with your captor, you survive. You don’t…you’re breakfast.”
As the S.W.A.T vans pull into the scene Lena, and Will rush to the home, an agent passes the woman an M-4. She remains behind to steady herself for the shot as the rest rush forward. The eldest boy of the group raises his pistol to his “sibling’s” father, Gibbs pulls the trigger and sends off a round through the teenager's shoulder.
The scene erupts into chaos and the youngest boy runs off toward the pool. She and will chase after him, at the edge of the water the child grabs a pistol of his own aiming it at Will’s chest,
“Don’t shoot!” Will isn’t only talking to the boy, he’s telling her.
Don’t shoot.
“Chris, wait. Don’t shoot. It’s OK. You’re home now, put the gun down, Christopher.”
His kidnapper emerges from the pool shed, and grabs the boy “Shoot him, Christopher.”
Don’t Shoot
“Christopher, please.”
*BANG*
Will freezes, and the kidnapper drops to the ground his ears ring out slightly as Lena moves to disarm the young boy.
“Chris, buddy are you alright?” Will can’t tell if she's whispering or if his ears are still ringing from the shot. He stands like a statue his gaze on the kidnapper's body, a single round through the middle of the eyes. Efficient, he can’t help himself but think. He doesn't even notice as his partner picks up the child and takes him over to the SUV. It’s not until Beverly taps him on the shoulder he breaks out of his trance.
05:00 The next morning
“I seldom have patients that ask to see me at such an early hour”
“Am I burdening your routine Dr. Lecter?” If he didn’t know better he’d think the question naive.
“A friend is never a burden.”
“A friend?”
“Would you like to be, or I could simply be your psychiatrist, someone to who you tell everything?”
“The last person I told everything…Killed himself, Doctor. I don’t think that's a track record you’d want to be a part of.”
“I think you and I both know that’s not why Sherlock did what he did.”
“Are you trying to defend him?”
“No merely seek the truth.”
“He was swayed by an evil hand.”
“Evil is subjective.”
---
“Evil is something that consumes. It digests. The rest of time it waits hungry and unseen waiting for the time to strike.”
Coquille (chapter 2)
