With flexible solutions, cost-effectiveness, and a deep understanding of digital trends, freelancers can provide personalized services that drive growth. In this article, we will explore how freelance digital marketers can propel small business growth, focusing on the impact of hiring local experts like those offering the best digital marketing services in Ahmedabad.
The Role of Freelance Digital Marketers in Business Growth
Freelance digital marketers are independent professionals who specialize in various aspects of online marketing, from search engine optimization (SEO) and social media management to content marketing and paid ads. They offer businesses the flexibility to hire top-notch expertise on a project basis, without the long-term commitments required by agencies. Freelancers also offer personalized attention and tailor their services to meet the unique needs of each business.

Why Freelance Digital Marketing is Ideal for Small Businesses For small businesses, managing a full-scale marketing department or outsourcing to a large agency can be both expensive and overwhelming. Freelancers offer several advantages, making them the perfect choice for companies looking to grow efficiently.
Cost-Effective Marketing Solutions Small businesses often have limited marketing budgets, and hiring a full-time marketing team can be expensive. Freelance digital marketers offer an affordable alternative, delivering high-quality results without the financial burden of maintaining an in-house department. Since freelancers typically have fewer overhead costs, they can pass these savings on to small businesses, providing services at more competitive rates than agencies.
Tailored Strategies for Growth Every small business has different goals, markets, and challenges. A one-size-fits-all approach may not work in today’s diverse business environment. Freelancers provide customized strategies that are tailored to the specific needs and objectives of a business. Whether it's increasing online visibility through SEO, running targeted social media campaigns, or improving customer engagement, freelancers can adapt their strategies to help businesses meet their unique goals.

This transparency ensures that marketing efforts remain aligned with the overall business strategy and produce measurable results.
Key Digital Marketing Strategies That Drive Growth
Freelance digital marketers employ a range of tactics to help small businesses grow. Here are the primary digital marketing strategies that drive growth:
Search Engine Optimization (SEO) One of the most effective long-term strategies for growing a business online is SEO. By optimizing a website for search engines, small businesses can increase their visibility, attract organic traffic, and improve their ranking on search engine results pages (SERPs). Freelancers like Akash Kalal specialize in offering SEO services that target relevant keywords such as "Best digital marketing services in Ahmedabad" to help local businesses appear at the top of search results, increasing their chances of attracting new customers.
Social Media Marketing With billions of people using social media platforms daily, having a strong presence on social channels is essential for small businesses. Freelancers can create and manage social media campaigns that engage followers, increase brand awareness, and drive traffic to a business’s website. By focusing on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Twitter, freelance marketers help businesses build a loyal online community that can be leveraged for future growth.
Content Marketing High-quality content is key to attracting and retaining customers. Freelance marketers are skilled at creating valuable and relevant content that resonates with a target audience. Whether it’s blog posts, videos, infographics, or email newsletters, content marketing plays a critical role in establishing a business’s authority in its industry and improving customer engagement. Well-crafted content also boosts SEO, helping businesses rank higher for relevant search terms.
Pay-Per-Click (PPC) Advertising For small businesses that want immediate results, PPC advertising is an excellent option. Freelancers can create targeted PPC campaigns that reach specific demographics and locations, ensuring that ads are displayed to the right audience at the right time. By setting clear goals and focusing on ROI, freelance digital marketers ensure that businesses get the most out of their advertising budget.
Email Marketing Email marketing remains one of the most effective ways to nurture leads and turn them into loyal customers. Freelancers can develop email campaigns that are personalized and tailored to the needs of a business’s audience. By segmenting email lists and creating targeted content, freelance marketers help small businesses build lasting relationships with their customers, improving retention and driving repeat business.

Intraday Trading, Strategies & Tips for Beginners | Apna Research Plus
Intraday trading, also known as day trading, involves buying and selling financial instruments within the same trading day. The main goal is to profit from short-term price movements. As a beginner, it's important to approach intraday trading with a solid strategy and the right mindset. Here are some share market strategies and tips to help you get started:
1. Start with the Basics
Understand Market Hours: Intraday traders must know the best times to trade, which usually include the first and last hours of the trading day when volatility is high.
Choose the Right Stocks: Focus on highly liquid stocks that have significant price movements throughout the day. Blue-chip stocks and popular index constituents are good starting points.
2. Popular Intraday Trading Strategies
Momentum Trading: Buy stocks that are moving in a strong direction (either up or down) with high volume. The idea is to ride the momentum until it shows signs of reversal.
Breakout Trading: Identify key levels of support or resistance. If a stock price breaks through these levels with strong volume, it might indicate a new trend.
Scalping: This strategy involves making multiple trades in a single day to capture small price movements. Scalpers often make dozens of trades in a day, targeting small profits each time.
Reversal Trading: This strategy is based on spotting reversals in a stock's price trend. Traders look for signs of overbought or oversold conditions to take a position in the opposite direction.
Range Trading: Identify stocks that are trading within a defined range. Buy near the support level and sell near the resistance level.
3. Technical Analysis Tools
Moving Averages: Simple Moving Average (SMA) and Exponential Moving Average (EMA) help identify trends and potential entry/exit points.
Relative Strength Index (RSI): This oscillator helps determine if a stock is overbought or oversold, which could indicate a potential reversal.
Bollinger Bands: These measure volatility and can help identify overbought or oversold conditions.
MACD (Moving Average Convergence Divergence): This indicator shows the relationship between two moving averages and can help identify changes in momentum.
4. Risk Management
Set a Budget: Only use funds you can afford to lose. Start small and gradually increase your exposure as you gain experience.
Use Stop-Loss Orders: A stop-loss order automatically sells your position if the stock price reaches a predetermined level. This helps limit potential losses.
Avoid Overtrading: Stick to your strategy and avoid chasing losses. Overtrading can lead to increased transaction costs and emotional decisions.
5. Emotional Discipline
Stay Objective: Avoid making decisions based on emotions. Stick to your strategy and avoid impulsive trades.
Keep a Trading Journal: Document your trades, including your strategy, entry/exit points, and the outcome. This can help you learn from your successes and mistakes.
6. Stay Informed
Market News: Keep up with market news, economic indicators, and corporate announcements, as these can influence stock prices.
Technical Analysis: Regularly review your charts and indicators to stay in tune with the market trends.
7. Continuous Learning
Educate Yourself: Take advantage of online share market courses, books, and webinars focused on intraday trading.
Practice with a Demo Account: Before risking real money, practice your strategies with a demo account offered by many brokers.
8. Selecting a Broker
Choose a broker that offers low commissions, a reliable trading platform, and fast execution speeds. Ensure the broker provides access to the technical analysis tools you need.
Final Thoughts:
Intraday trading can be rewarding but also carries significant risk. As a beginner, it's crucial to start slow, stick to your trading strategies, and never stop learning. Over time, with experience and discipline, you can refine your approach to become more successful in intraday trading.

Choosing the Right RF Connector: A Guide for Engineers and Technicians
RF (Radio Frequency) connections are crucial for efficient signal transfer between various electrical components in communication systems, test equipment, and other RF applications. Choosing the correct RF connector is critical for preserving signal integrity, reducing losses, and achieving peak system performance. Here's a complete resource to assist engineers and technicians with the selecting process:
1. Understanding Connector Types: RF connectors are intended for certain frequencies, power levels, and applications. Common connectors include SMA, BNC, N-type, TNC, and SMB, among others. SMA connectors, for example, are appropriate for high-frequency applications up to 18 GHz and are noted for their small size and reliable performance. N-type connections, on the other hand, are durable and weather resistant, making them excellent for use in outdoor and industrial settings. Understanding the characteristics and benefits of each connector type is critical in selecting the best one for your unique requirements.
2. Frequency Range and Impedance Matching: When choosing an RF connector, consider frequency range compatibility and impedance matching. RF connectors are typically intended to function in specified frequency ranges, such as DC to 18 GHz for SMA connectors and DC to 11 GHz for N-type connectors. To avoid signal reflections and ensure maximum power transfer, the connector's impedance (about 50 ohms for most RF applications) must be matched to that of the cables and devices. Failure to match impedance can lead to signal loss and poor system performance.
3. Application Specific Requirements: When selecting an RF connector, consider your application's specific requirements. For example, in telecommunications and wireless networking, connections with high dependability, endurance, and ease of installation are preferred. Connectors for aerospace and defense applications may need to meet stringent environmental and performance requirements, including as shock, vibration, and extreme temperature resistance. Consider climatic conditions, mating cycles, and mechanical stability when choosing a connector to meet your application's operational requirements.
4. Connector Gender and Mounting Type: RF connectors are available in different genders (male and female) and mounting types (cable mount, panel mount, PCB mount, etc.). The gender of the connector refers to the pin configuration—male connectors have a center pin protruding from the connector body, while female connectors have a receptacle to accept the male pin. The mounting type determines how the connector interfaces with cables, circuit boards, or equipment housings. Choose the connector gender and mounting type that best suits your installation requirements and ensures a secure and reliable connection.
5. Quality and dependability: Choose RF connections from reputed suppliers with proven quality and dependability. High-quality connectors are critical for decreasing signal loss, ensuring signal integrity over time, and avoiding the need for regular maintenance or replacements. Choose connections that meet industry standards and certifications (such as MIL-STD or IEC standards) to ensure compatibility and performance consistency across several applications and conditions.
6. Prioritize long-term benefit over initial savings when selecting connectors. Investing in high-quality RF connectors that fulfill your application's requirements will help you avoid future costs for downtime, troubleshooting, and replacements. Consider the entire cost of ownership, which includes installation, maintenance, and operational costs, to make an informed decision that fits your budget and project goals.
Choosing the appropriate RF connector necessitates careful consideration of connector type, frequency range, impedance matching, application-specific needs, quality, dependability, and cost effectiveness. Engineers and technicians may ensure that the connections they use in RF applications enhance system performance, reliability, and overall operational efficiency by knowing these critical variables and collaborating with RF engineering experts or suppliers.

What Is a Solar Inverter?
A solar inverter performs several important functions: it converts DC power from your solar panels to AC, it monitors your system and it can feed electricity into the grid in case of a grid-outage.
Inverters are also the most complex part of a household solar power system and they are subjected to harsh environmental conditions. To know more about Solar Inverters, visit the Sun Solar Australia website or call 1800931992.
The solar inverter is the brains of your photovoltaic (PV) solar power system. It transforms the direct current (DC) electricity that your solar panels produce into alternating current (AC) electricity, which is what powers home or business electrical appliances.
A good solar installer can advise you on the best type of inverter for your solar power system based on factors such as your roof’s shade patterns and whether you live in a grid-tied region where it may be possible to export excess energy to the power grid in exchange for power bill credits. For example, if you want to take advantage of net metering, your inverter must be able to comply with minimum size and power production limits set by your utility company.
There are many different types of solar inverters, including string inverters, microinverters and power optimizers. String inverters combine multiple panels into a single string and are typically the cheapest option. A reputable solar installation professional can also advise you on whether or not you should consider adding a DC optimizer to a string inverter system.
When it comes to solar energy systems, there are two main types of inverters: string and central. Both have their advantages and disadvantages when it comes to design, cost, and efficiency.
A string inverter is the most affordable option, making it a popular choice for budget-conscious solar shoppers. It’s also a good choice for simple roofs that can receive full sunlight year-round and don’t have much shading. When used with DC optimizers, these inverters can help minimize the impact of shading and other issues on individual panels.
The downside to using a string inverter is that if one panel experiences shading or other problems, it can reduce the overall power output of your system. This can significantly impact your electricity savings if not addressed right away. Also, since these inverters are installed for a particular wattage, it’s not easy to expand your system in the future unless you purchase an oversized inverter. This is why it’s important to choose the right solar inverter for your home.
Solar systems with microinverters are able to monitor and optimise the energy production on an individual panel-by-panel basis. This allows for more efficient use of panels angled at different angles and helps to maximize the energy production where shading or sun-blocking is a concern.
They also allow for more flexibility in system design and scalability, making it easier to expand a system in the future. They require a higher upfront investment, but can provide a better long-term return on investment due to increased energy production.
Like string inverters, microinverter systems are vulnerable to the “weakest link” effect; if one of the panels in the system fails for any reason, it will take down the whole chain. However, unlike string inverters, microinverter issues are typically easier to troubleshoot on the roof and repair than problems with individual solar panels. A good choice for a home is the German-made SMA Sunny Boy AV series. Other popular brands include Fronius snap-in, and the new SolarEdge X series.
A solar power system reduces your energy costs by harnessing the sun’s free, clean energy. It also increases the value of your property.
A string inverter receives DC power from a group of solar panels and transforms it to AC power. Because it receives the energy in bulk, the power output of one panel is not affected by shading or other factors.
Power optimizers work with string inverters and are attached to each PV module, replacing the traditional junction box. They help to increase energy production by tracking each panel’s maximum power point (MPPT) individually, while monitoring performance on a site-wide level and communicating this information via the SolarEdge system monitoring portal. To know more about Solar Inverters, visit the Sun Solar Australia website or call 1800931992.
Global electronics giant GE has partnered with Goodwe to produce an excellent range of 5 to 10kW solar inverters that include up to four independent MPPTs. They also feature a high-resolution display for easy system monitoring. Austrian manufacturer Fronius continues to maintain the top spot for the majority of residential solar inverters since releasing their innovative snap-in design in 2012. Their reliability, quality, and local service support have also contributed to this.

Baby formula soaring costs: 'I struggle, but I won’t buy a cheaper brand'
Emma Davies
By Sam Gruet and Ashleigh Swan
Business reporters, BBC News
Single mum Emma Davies is struggling with the cost of baby formula for her 13-week-old daughter Nancy.
But despite the expense, the 42-year-old says she won’t buy cheaper alternatives.
“You just want the best for your children, you don’t want to give them a cheaper brand,” she says. Many new parents feel the same.
Amy, 25, says she and her husband have skipped meals to ensure their children are fed, clothed and warm. The mum of two spends about £72 a month on formula milk.
According to the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA), formula prices have risen by 25% over the past two years, generating high profit margins.
The watchdog highlighted that parents could save £500 in the first year of a baby’s life by shopping around for alternative brands.
Although there are many available, the market is still dominated by two big players.
Danone, which owns the Aptamil and Cow & Gate brands, and Nestle, which owns SMA and Little Steps, have an 85% market share.
Shoppers hit by escalating prices of branded goods
Emma feels like breastfeeding is not an option for her, after she contracted mastitis while breastfeeding her first child.
When it comes to her weekly grocery shop, she says she will buy the cheapest possible own-brand products available and will often look for deals and damaged products that are discounted.
“I’ve always been a single parent, so you budget,” she says.
But for baby formula, she won’t change from a more expensive brand.
“It’s a risk. I’d rather stick to what I’ve been told, obviously, by my parents, and what I’ve used with my older children. It’s what’s been reliable.”
Some parents worry that cheaper brands are less nutritional than the more expensive ones. But Amy Brown, a professor in maternal and infant health at Swansea University, says that is not the case.
“All infant formulas are tightly regulated to make sure they include the same carb, fat and protein levels and there is no evidence to say that one formula milk is better than the other.”
She believes that parents may be reluctant to buy cheaper brands due to the idea that if a brand is more expensive, it must be better quality.
“Parents want the best for their baby and so they will get the more expensive product. However, parents need to understand that the price does not reflect the quality,” she says.
Paul Edwards
Part of the issue might be down to the law as well.
In the UK, it is illegal to advertise infant formula – for babies up to six months – because it might discourage breastfeeding.
Additionally, retailers cannot communicate special offers via any platform for infant formula, although they can with follow-on formula – for babies older than six months.
Boots infant formula adverts broke rules – watchdog
Many, including supermarket chain Iceland, want those rules to change.
The frozen food chain’s boss Richard Walker has called them “archaic and outdated” and said it prevents Iceland from being able to accept loyalty cards, cash equivalents and High Street vouchers.
“You can’t even donate to food banks with infant stage formula,” he said.
Another factor may be that, although the CMA says savings can be made by shopping around, when it comes to baby formula, there aren’t that many own-brand products available, which are typically much cheaper than branded products.
Currently, Aldi is the only supermarket that offers formula through its own brand Mamia. Campaigners have called for more retailers to do so to help ease the financial pressures on parents.
Whatever the reason, experts agree that this is a huge issue.
Sophie Livingstone, the chief executive of charity Little Village HQ, says she hears about “terrible choices” parents and carers are having to make every day.
“Watering down formula to make it stretch further, nappy rationing and kids wearing shoes that are too small for them,” she says.
The charity supports families with children under the age of five living in poverty across London.
Ms Livingstone says increases in bills, rents, food and the price of formula has created a perfect storm.
“The huge increase in demand for our help is a clear indicator of the increased pressure families are under. By August of this year, we’d helped 50% more families than the same time last year,” she adds.
The CMA has said it is launching an investigation into the baby formula market, with an update expected around mid-2024.

Emotional Junk Drawer
To be honest, ini bukan cerita yang biasanya kutulis.
It was a total mess.
Thus, I'll write it here.
Aku memutuskan mengisi bensin di dekat RSU Banyumanik 2. Meski letaknya berlawanan arah dengan tujuanku, well, ketimbang terjadi apa-apa, kan?
Woah, like, what kind of crazy things happened here?
Like, heck, even Y would jump out of his motorcycle to greet his schoolmate in the middle of the street. Even if he didn't close with that person.
Aku berkali-kali mengucap istighfar. Setelah itu aku berkata kepada diriku, "Oh my God, please don't do this in front of me,". Seperti orang bodoh.
No, aku nggak boleh bebanin siapapun.
Begitu sampai di dekat DP Mall, aku somehow tahu masalahnya ketika mengingat sebuah episode di Modern Family. My emotional junk drawer was full. Now, ketika aku mengalami flashback, drawer nya tidak cukup menyimpan perasaan campur adukku tadi.
Sebuah suara di kepalaku tiba-tiba berkata, "Teriakkan saja. Nggak apa-apa,".
Thus, aku mulai melakukannya sambil berkendara.
Dan kalimat pertama yang kuteriakkan adalah, "I hate you!!!".
Ketika menulis ini, aku masih nggak bisa menjelaskan kenapa I hate you muncul.
Namun, well, what do I know? Like I said, I was a mess at that time.
Dan begini kelanjutannya (kira-kira):
"I hate you!!! Kamu janji nggak pernah ninggalin aku, tapi kamu sama aja kayak Rifai! I hate that you just left!! Kamu nggak ngomong apa-apa sama aku!! Benci! Aku benci banget sama kamu!!".
And, another hate:
"Kamu nggak tahu apa-apa selama kamu nggak ada! Aku benci, benci banget semua orang menyuruhku move on gitu aja!! Aku benci semua orang bisa dengan enaknya bilang, 'Aku harus kuat, aku harus kuat'. Aku nggak kuat!! Kamu pikir gampang?? Kamu pikir gampang lepas kamu gitu aja?? Aku bahkan ga tahu aku benci siapa, diriku atau kamu!".
And, more hate:
"Dan aku benci kamu nggak pernah nyatain perasaanmu buatku!! Aku tahu kok kalau kamu nggak sebucin itu sama A (mantannya and guess what, my close friend, too)!! Kamu dulu bucin banget sama F dan kamu nggak bisa diem. Kamu ceritain semuanya!! I know you so well, you know??".
And, more and more hate:
Nah, that was how mess I was.

iPhone vs. Samsung smartphones: Which one is best
Is Samsung better than Apple? Or is Apple better than Samsung?
Most people are set in their ways of being loyal to the Apple iPhone or being loyal to Samsung, but if you don’t yet have a preference for one phone or the other, how can you choose which one is right for you
Design and features
One of the key factors when choosing a smartphone is its design and features. Samsung smartphones have a similar but different design when compared to iPhones. The Apple iPhone design is generally more minimalist and sleek, while Samsung’s phones have more features and customization options.
Apple iPhones tend to have smaller screens than most Samsung phones, but they are thinner and lighter. Samsung’s smartphones tend to have bigger screens but can be bulkier and heavier.
Apple also tends to use the same or similar phone design over and over, while Samsung phone styles seem to evolve with each release.
Operating systems and apps
When you compare iPhone and Samsung operating systems, both are great. It all depends on what you are looking for.
Both Apple and Samsung smartphones use different operating systems — iOS for iPhones and Android for most Samsung smartphones. There are pros and cons to both systems, but overall, one works just as well as the other. It all comes down to what you want out of your software.
Android is more customizable and has more features and complex options, while iOS is more straightforward, easy to use and has a higher level of security.
Most apps are available on either operating system, but more Android apps are available than iOS apps. Some Android apps are unavailable on iOS, while some popular iOS apps are not available on Android. If you are looking to use specific applications on your phone, it would be worth researching to find out if the apps you want to use are available on both devices or not.
Camera quality
Both are great when you compare iPhone to Samsung in regards to the camera. The “better camera” for you depends on what kind of photo-taking features you plan to use.
The camera quality on both iPhone and Samsung smartphones is good, but there are some differences between the two brands. iPhones have better low-light photography, while Samsung smartphones have better zoom functionality.
The focus and video on Apple phones are extremely easy. Open your iPhone camera, and your camera will do the work to get you a good photo. But if you are more into photography and want to control the camera settings, you may be more interested in using the Samsung camera. Samsung phones have more choices for camera modes such as pro photo, pro video, single take, slow motion, food, night mode and more.
Battery life
One of the main advantages of the iPhone over Samsung smartphones is that their batteries last longer. The iPhone batteries are smaller than Samsung batteries, yet they perform better. Samsung batteries will generally last around 8 hours, which is plenty long for anyone planning on using their phone constantly. But on the other hand, an iPhone can last almost 10.5 hours. Overall, phone companies are making great progress in improving their batteries each year, but according to this battery test, the iPhone battery is still unmatched.
Price and availability
Samsung smartphones are available at various prices, from budget models to high-end models. Apple iPhones are only available at one price point (usually with a high price tag) — although there are often discounts available or trade-in deals from authorized resellers.
Apple vs. Samsung — which is right for you?
What’s better, iPhone or Samsung? If you are looking for a phone that is easy to use, has a good camera, and lasts a long time on a charge, an iPhone may be the right choice for you. If you are looking for more customization options and features with your smartphone, or want a bigger screen, then a Samsung smartphone may be better suited for you.
I hope you found this comparison helpful in your smartphone decision-making process. Good luck choosing the phone that is right for you!
you have old mobile phone then sell your old Mobile Phone or any other Smartphone at RecycleDevice for good exchange value

Solar Brisbane Reviews - Which Solar Installer to Choose?
Brisbane is one of Australia's largest solar power markets, with about 30 per cent of homes in the area fitted out with solar panels. Choosing the right installer is crucial to getting the best results from your system and saving money on energy bills.
There are many different solar installers in the area, offering a range of services and products from a variety of solar brands. With so much choice, it can be difficult to find the right company for your needs, and you should always do some research before making a decision on which one to use.
Bradford Energy is one of Australia's most well-known solar panel installers, and it offers a wide range of products including a 'SolarPack' that includes panels, inverter and monitoring systems for a set price. It also sells a 'ChargePack' for those wanting to add battery storage to their system.
This installer provides solar Brisbane reviews services to Brisbane and surrounding areas, and they specialise in selling and installing a number of different brands of panels, inverters and battery storage systems. They're particularly popular with customers in the South-East Queensland area, and they offer a range of prices to suit every budget.
They're a family run business, and they have a strong reputation in the industry. They are accredited by the Clean Energy Council and they have a large team of experienced installers.
The company's website is packed full of information about solar, and you can get an idea of what it might cost by using their online calculator. It also offers a free quote, though you'll need to give them some details about your home to receive this estimate.
Keen 2B Green operates from south-east Queensland, supplying and installing a range of solar products to both domestic and commercial customers. The main products they sell are Jinko, LG and QCells panels, Fronius, Enphase, SMA and SolarEdge inverters, and Tesla, iStore and LG battery storage systems.
Their prices are reasonable, and they usually run promotions for first-time solar customers. They often advertise deals that include all the components you'll need to get started on your solar journey.
They are a family-owned and operated business, and they've been in the solar installation business for over 15 years. They also offer a free quote, and their team of experienced technicians are highly trained.
Another reputable Brisbane-based solar company is SAE Group, which has been around for over 40 years and installs solar panels, inverters and battery storage systems throughout the state. The company has a nationwide network of contractors and is registered with the Clean Energy Council to provide solar energy to Australian households and businesses.
It's important to choose a reputable solar installer who is local to you, as this will give you a better sense of their reliability. It will also help if you need to make a claim under the manufacturer's warranty.
It's also important to ensure that the company you're dealing with is CEC approved, as this will give you confidence that they are complying with all Australian Consumer Laws and that they have a good track record of delivering quality installations. Having a clean energy council approved retailer in your area will also mean that you are likely to receive a higher feed-in tariff than a non-approved installer, which can mean even more savings over time!
Certified Solar specializes in providing solar energy and energy storage system installations for commercial and residential projects. We transform our clients’ energy needs by helping them drastically reduce and eliminate their electricity bills, aiming for the maximum return on each investment.

Privilege
What I noticed throughout the convo adalah: I really did put a lot of disclaimers there. It applies as well ke postingan Jardine aku kalau teman-teman ingat dan pernah baca. These disclaimers apparently highlighted the fact that I'm SO privileged, that I'm an exception rather than the norms, and that my story can't be taken solely as 'an ordinary/normal' person's experience.
Tadi dija (lawan ngobrol aku dari flipenglishpare) nanya: "kakak butuh berapa waktu sih buat persiapan ielts?", in which I answered (dengan sangat jujur): "hmm 3 minggu? aku booking ielts testnya juga mendadak karena tiba-tiba diminta sama itb bukti ielts" -- cerita lebih lengkapnya ada di postingan Jardine lah ya. Kemudian tapi aku tambahkan buru-buru:
That whole disclaimer tbh speaks a lot about where and how I grew up: di ibukota negara dengan segala fasilitas pendidikannya (+ orangtua yang sadar kalau invest bahasa inggris buat anak itu penting). In short, a whole lot of privilege. Dan dija in turns langsung bales "ah ok iya kak beda banget ya. Aku aja atau kita-kita di pare ini ya baru sadar ternyata perlu belajar bahasa inggris ya pas kuliah. Kita mau daftar beasiswa eh ternyata butuh nilai ielts/toefl. Pas sd smp sma boro-boro kepikiran dan di sekolah di sini juga ngga ada pelajaran bahasa inggris atau kalaupun ada ya sekedarnya kak karena guru-guru juga ngga ada yang bisa/paham." Asli sedih banget w pas dengar itu. Betul-betul langsung bersyukur dan sayang banget sama mama karena if it wasn't for her, I definitely won't be here rn. That might be my number 1 privilege: orangtua yang tahu whats best for their children.
Tapi... pas ditelusuri lagi jauh ke atas, muncul pertanyaan: how did my parents do their parenting? Where did they get references or the know-how? Sekarang buku parenting mah udah banyak ya, atau social media atau influencer. Tapi back then in 1990s-2000s? My mom went to IPB bogor for her undergrad. She really was (and is) a brilliant mind. Dari SMA sudah merantau ngekos di Jogja, she went to SMA9 Yogyakarta padahal rumahnya di Pedan, Klaten. The fact that my grandparents allowed her to live far away from home to get her education is probably also what makes me possible to be far away from home to study tbh. Mamaku betul-betul meniru what her parents do. There's no compromise to education.
She really didn't mind bayar berapapun (asal masih masuk budget dia), asalkan anaknya bisa dapet the best education.
I learned English purely because it's fun and I can know and learn more karena basically hampir semua resources (of knowledge terutama) comes in English. I can't imagine the stress and the anxiety kalau harus belajar bahasa for a test. Jadi jujur kalau ditanya "challengenya belajar bahasa inggris apa sih kak? dan gimana overcomingnya?" I definitely can't answer. Well, probably I'll answer: time. Learning language is not something you do overnight/in a month, it's a continuous process; it took me more than 15 years and I barely can write anything on my paper draft rn? lah jadi curhat. Ya intinya gitu.
Salah satu bukti nyata lain dari bagaimana privilege open up so many opportunities adalah: your network. Info tentang opportunities tend to circulate in the same circle.
Lah jadi panjang kemana-mana. Iya yaudah intinya adalah mau bilang aja. I am what I am rn, not because of myself. It is because I had a great headstart. Meh, 90% bahkan mungkin. My ecosystem made me who I am rn. Makanya sesungguhnya yang paling kutakutin dari seminar-seminar success story atau bahkan tiap aku sharing 'success story' (yaampun bahkan I'm failing my phd right now, gimana ceritanya sukses non) adalah how we sell the dream without looking at the * alias the t&c. Sekarang asli deh tiap liat orang-orang keren yah, macem Pak Sandiaga Uno, Maudy Ayunda, mas Nadiem, pasti ngecek: orangtuanya siapa, dia tumbuh besar di mana. That'd paint the bigger picture. They are successful not only because they're great, but their ecosystem made them to.
It applies to me as well kok. For me it helps, ngga tau ya buat kalian.
Yaudah jadi gitu aja. Intinya adalah mau ngelist privilege w sebanyak apa supaya tidak sombong dan ngerasa I did everything myself + motivasi for me so that I can do better & menggunakan privilege ini sebaik-baiknya:
Just make sure kita happy dan sama-sama work toward the future di mana ketimpangan privilege ini bisa diclose gapnya so that our next generation ga ngerasain yang kita rasain sekarang.
Anyways, happy weekend all! It's sunny here today semoga di manapun kalian berada juga cerah dan bahagia selalu!
Cheers, Asri // Woodlands Close 9 30/10/2021 11:37 am

Colin Farrell (2013) & Jared Leto (2021) talking about 'Alexander' retrospectively
[Colin has done so frequently since its release in 2004, unlike Jared who virtually pretends it has never happened or something, so that was a nice exception. Cute how he couldn't quite remember the name of the actor starring in that movie...]
The Empire Film Podcast #89 - November 29, 2013
I: Have you ever shot anywhere that you wanted to go back to -
CF: Morocco! Morocco.
I: Oh Really?
CF: Morocco, yeah. I haven’t been back since 'Alexander', but it’s one place... through the years that - You know, usually I find me on location in - Two or three months where it - you reach a stage where you’re ready to either go, I should live here, or I should go home, this is unnatural, and - and Morocco never got, never got to that stage. I was there for four and a half months and... I just loved it! I just loved it. I was wearing maybe some - being able to wear a djellaba, you know, traditional moroccan dress, literally a dress, you know, and that was kinda - it stopped being kinky really fast. It just became the norm. But I loved. I loved Morocco, yeah.
I: I wonder if you havent seen the final cut of 'Alexander', of Oliver’s fifth attempt or something.
CF: Which one? He just did a fifth, I believe. And I’ve read that some clippings of people, that said that it was really good and made sense and, you know, he was rushed like majorly. He should’ve had a year and a half at least to cut it together, to do all the footage that he got. That was, as we were running eight, nine cameras, but it was such a huge story and he wanted to make it since he was eighteen, nineteen, twenty and studying history in college. So it was too big for us. Too big for everyone, yeah. I havent’ seen it. I don’t know that i need. Maybe I should, for Oliver, have a look at it, but I’m too - I would have very little perspective on that now.
I: Distracted by yourself again?
CF: Distracted by myself. Distracted by my hair... I’m still traumatized by, you know, the idea that you can do a film that had a budget of a hundred and forty million dollars and have, like, peroxide hair clips falling out. It's just - I’ll never get over.
I: Some people shouldn’t be blond.
CF: It's just, you know, anytime you give a target that's too easy is, you know - let them tackle the themes. Let them tackle the expression of certain elements of the story through performance. Let them tackle performance, but to give - like, my roots weren’t done. I was a - I mean, i wish I had my shit together more because I would’ve been on top of certain things that would've negated the ease with which people target the film. And - ah, maybe I’ll see the fifth version, so I can call up Oliver and say to him: You did it! You cracked it, man. After all these years. But how - how obsessed is Oliver, and how wonderful is his drive and his passion for the material, that, you know, ten years later, he’s in an editing suite and cutting it together.
I: He's briiliant. He doesnt give up on anything
CF: No, I love him. I love him. He’s incredible.
Podcast THR Awards Chatter 373. Jared Leto - ‘The Little Things’ February 8, 2021
I: (…) 'Alexander' with Oliver Stone took a lot of shit, but it’s not for lack of a lot of artistic merit, and in this case, just to remind people, you’re playing the best friend and sort of lover of Alexander, and I guess I just wonder, did it affect your way you thought about it when the movie took some flag?
JL: No, I mean for me, when I think about movies, I think generally about the experience that I had making them. You know, I remember like, in Alexander, that the hair was a big issue. Like, I think there was - not my hair, but Alexander’s hair - that maybe there was some problem with - I cannot remember what it was. That’s what I remember about. Like - you know, I mean that stuff, the box office and all this is really none of my business, you know, it really - I wasn’t starring in the movie, I had a small part in the movie, again I was, you know, speaking with an Irish accent for months - and for some reason it was like standard Irish, it wasn’t English. I can’t remember why the thinking, but - I remember Morroco, I remember Thailand, I remember like, you know, the adventures outside of the filming and I really fell in love with the desert and I have a love for the desert to this day. I remember after a couple of months, two, three months in Morocco, I was, I really wanted to stay. It’s quite an amazing place. Yeah and it was a - yeah I learned to ride a horse. Bareback. That was fun. So I think of that stuff really.

Thoughts on Sonic Mania Adventure?
I dislike the lack of voices, but in a tom & jerry sort of way, it's still good.
Even without the hype of wondering where it's going it's still something I love re-watching. Tho the characters seem more like modern takes on them than the '90s which breaks my brain.
I could MAYBE see American '90s Sonic being hype for a real challenge, but Tails would NEVER facepalm Sonic doing this, like this is Sonic Colors levels of bullshit!
but that barely matters cuz the climax was so good (then again that's literally the first thing I think of rofl)
Otherwise I do like how Sonic & Tails are here, it's less of a big brother little brother relationship and more equals, I guess as if they're in their '40s cuz 1991 was 30 years ago or whatever aunno
Ray barely ever had characterization so I have no real opinion beyond "heh I like him!"
His whole thing with Knuckles was very funny
Mighty seems like how I'd expect Mighty to behave, he protecc etcetera, they kinda seem real close which is interesting.
Metal Sonic is the absolute best, I love his fight with Mighty and the whole hostage situation and everything
THat and the climax was so good I fucking love how Robotnik was all
watching the boys come after him and then the next episode opens with a bwaaahhmmm weird fart noise I love the fart noise it's ominous
Also it's weird how this seems to take place after Sonic Forces but Encore mode seems to take place after Mania mode?
I think Sonic sent a Ruby clone to Forces and had no idea Forces exists and there's a clone running around maybe or maybe Sonic Mania Adventures is his dying dream before becoming nothing...
ANYWAY!
Metal Sonic goes super (and doesn't change colors? What, Mecha can do it but not him??????) and that's awesome I love the final clash it's so cool I fucking love the fight and then BUM BUM BUMMMM METAL GOT DAH MASTER EMER ROLL but then ohp they run out of budget and Knuckles stops the cartoon
I mean
Aunno
I guess that's it? Woulda been nice if these were in the actual game. I mean I guess Sonic Mania was $20... but Sonic Advance was $40 and that was more game than Mania ever could hope. So maybe it's a fair price aunno
Oh yeah you know what they should make a Sonic beat im up and the final boss if you got a four banger is super metal sonic and it's way hard and you need to wombo combo him it'd be awesome
Amy's shitscram episode was cute, I just wish she was in Sonic Mania! Like Plus shoulda added Ray, Mighty, Espio and Vector and I guess Charmy why not and Amy was in Mania Minus but aunno just BAD GAME GRRRR GRRRR RAWRF RARF ARF
Aunno they're good promo cartoons but I sort of feel like they'd mean more if the actual game had good animation. Like Night of the Werehog came out but Sonic Unleashed still had plenty of cutscenes y'know?
Maybe if they make Sonic Mania 2 it won't suck who knows but SMA is way past cool and I do hope they like... do more with this?
I guesss there's that 30th anniversary comic but...
Why was Bean a murderer? Like why were Bean & Bark working for Nack, but especially why was Bean just pure evil no reigns insane?
Nothing in the game shows this personality beyond "damn he's annoying" but by that logic EVERYONE should crave violence, aunno I hate it BEAN IS NICE DAMMIT LOOK AT HIM
Is that the face of a bloodthirsty bomber?
Anyways that's why I think Super Mario Bros 1993 is a really good movie and people need to stop being overcritical of media
