♦️ Quirks/hobbies headcanon

Morwen and Húrin (and sometimes Aerin) play a chess like game. Morwen is extremely good at it as it requires patience and attention to detail. She is unofficially banned from watching Húrin and Sador play because Húrin makes too many impulsive moves and Sador hesitates for about half an hour on each move and both methods agitate her.

Morwen does not like the more humid weather of Hithlum. Dorthonion has many differences in climate and weather and the constant reminders can be difficult. It’s not something she really thinks about or acknowledges directly. 

She does like the mountains and when she was a teenager she would sometimes go for long walks along Nen Lalaith up towards its source on Amon Darthir. 

♒️cooking/food headcanon:

OK so this is actually a headcanon about the Bëorians in general that I’m definitely going to post more about but I headcanon that goats were more common than cows given the landscapes of Ladros. Goats are used for both milk and meat though there was some butter from cows milk from trade. The berries are different in Ladros than they are in Hithlum.
