Benton is a Korean natural skincare brand that focuses on restoring skin back to a healthy state by the use of natural and healthy ingredients in their products. Their Shea Butter and Coconut Body Lotion is designed to keep skin soft and silky without being sticky. This part of their line that also includes the Shea Butter and Coconut Hand Cream. Key ingredients include: 3.5% shea butter (moisturizing, nourishing, anti-inflammatory, anti-aging), 2% coconut oil (anti-aging, moisturizing, anti-dryness, nourishing), sodium hyaluronate (anti-aging, anti-wrinkle, hydrating, moisturizing, healing), hydrolyzed sodium hyaluronate (designed to easier penetrate the skin, stimulates collagen synthesis, moisturizing), jojoba seed oil (moisturizing, soothing, anti-aging) and licorice root extract (skin brightening, fades blemishes, soothing, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant). This body cream contains 250 ml (8.45 oz) and it has a light coconut natural fragrance.

The body cream comes in a large squeeze tube. The lid is a little flimsy.

The cream isn't too thick or thin. It can be used on the face and body, regardless of age or gender.

It blends out pretty well without streakiness.

The cream blends in without any stickiness or tackiness as it claims and my skin really soaks it in. My skin prior to use can get pretty dry and flaky, especially during the winter.

Recommended use is to apply a suitable amount to skin and softly pat until fully absorbed. After using, upon applying this cream, I found it to be extremely soothing and easy to use. It really blends into the skin extremely well and there's no strong artificial fragrances or stickiness. It just immediately soaks in and really hydrates and moisturizes the skin. It soothes away redness and works on removing dry patches in the skin. It's also unnecessary to use too much product and a little goes a long way. I found that it also lasts a long time as well, well over 24 hours and there's a lot of product so it should last a really decent amount of time. The ingredients are ideal for people with sensitive skin and it works well for the colder, dry weather without being too heavy. I think it's definitely improved moisture retention in my skin. I'd recommend this to anyone.

They also have a hand cream version which is all I could find online for purchase so no idea how much this is and where you can get. It was ok. Felt a little thin and I didn’t feel as moisturized after using as I do with a body butter. I’ll use up but won’t repurchase. I got some Shea butter and coconut body lotion to try from Benton recently and I love it! Shea butter and coconut have been some of my favorite body care ingredients for a long time, and up until now I've never used them together. This lotion smells sooooooo good and my skin is so soft and smooth after I use it! 💛✨💙 Also, I was worried it would be a tiny little bottle when I got it, (cause lots of these brands are like $2500 for 1 ounce 🙄 lol), but this is 8 ounces so you really get a great value, and it'll last a long time! Thank you @bentoncosmetic for letting me test this product. 🌟Claims: A natural derived body lotion that moisturizes and nourishes skin. 🌟Notable Ingredients: Shea butter, Coconut Oil, and 5-Hyaluronic Acid Complex. 🌟Scent: Very mild coconut oil scent. 🌟Use: Dry yourself slightly after a shower and apply product to skin. Gently pat until absorbed. I have very dry skin so I always use lotions or creams after every shower. I got sent the Benton body lotion and I was very excited to try it since I love #benton products. This body lotion is from the same shea butter and coconut hand cream line if that's a favorite. The lotion is best used on damp skin and it immediately absorbs into the skin without leaving any residue. That seriously impressed me. The feeling of body lotion doesn't bother me but I know some people hate the feeling. The lotion absorbs quickly without leaving any stickiness on the skin. I love using it before bed because I don't have to worry or wait for the lotion to absorb / dry before going to bed. The lotion is mostly scent free, you can get a mild coconut scent but I seriously had to sniff to even smell it. I almost snorted a big glop of lotion in the process 😂. I do the ashy test... if you're a POC you know what I'm talking about 😂, to verify whether my skin is dry or needs more lotion. This lotion leaves my skin very moisturized. It can be used exclusively as a body lotion or used as an all body moisturizer if you so want. The lotion has been dermatologically tested and free of any irritations. I have not used this lotion on my face but I would have no compunction in doing so. It really is a lovely lotion and I would repurchase.
