Hello! I'd love to see Benji with a human mate. I think he'd just be the most smitten guy around. I'd love to see a sweet moment of them together(I'll include a few and you can choose what you like best!)
-Snuggled up in front of a fire when it's snowing outside(They obviously wouldn't be in India for this but maybe a little vaca) blanket, hot coco and all that fun stuff.
-Benji coming home to find his mate fast asleep on a couch or bay window while reading(bonus points if she wears glasses and they're askew)
-Benji's mate getting to see his face for the first time after she's changed(she was born blind and while they're not sure if the venom will work(Carlisle did say that there are things even venom couldn't cure).
Please and thank you!! <3 <3
Benjamin visiting forks hic
you’d met Benjamin when the big fight went down in forks, you’d always been close to Carlisle ever since he’d helped you get over your thirst for human blood and you were so thankful to him that you’d instantly agreed to come when he needed your help.
You were just walking round the Terrance when you noticed small droplets of water floating around. You’d never seen anything like it so you decided to get closer and touch them. To your surprise they just bounced off your fingers and floated in the opposite direction. Your head flopped to the side in wonder, you chased them around and it almost resembled kitten chasing a ball of yarn. When you finally caught one in between your hands you suddenly felt it splash open, it certainly surprised you enough to let out a little shriek, causing a particular someone’s attention to fall upon you. It was Benjamin, he’d just introduced and showed Renesme a few tricks of his, one including water. He excused himself and made his way up onto the terrace. He instantly introduced himself and apologised for the water bubbles, he told you that he wasn’t used to such a moist and foggy environment so it was a little tricky to confine his power to just one area.
- Ever since then the two of you hit it off, always around each other.
- I’m convinced that he has lots of aunties and uncles that fuss over the two of you once they heard the news. The first time that you visit his home country everything was quite overwhelming, it was so busy and the temperatures were seriously something you had to get used to.
- Whenever you get too hot, Benjamin acts as a vampire fan, making small swirls or find float in your direction, or he manipulates the moisture to gently wet your hair to cool down.
- 1000% all of his aunties and uncles compliment him on his lovely find of a partner, they all ask when the two of you are getting married and that makes you blush a little.
- All in all Benjamin is a very soft and caring lover, he’s a good listener and always appreciates anything you do.
- the two of you travel around the world and of course that means different climates, so because Benjamin has his lovely gift, he uses it to make daily life more fun, when it’s cold, the two of you sit in the living room, snuggled up in blankets as he makes time sparks or fire float and dance around you, careful not to burn you. He uses the light of his fire to cast shadows onto the walls.
- his gift is definitely part of what you live about him and it brings you so much joy to see him use it every day. But all this wouldn’t be possible if he weren’t so playful and fun.
- Let’s just say it lien this. He’s perfect for you.

Twilight Imagines- Benjamin
First Sight
[Masterlist]
Requested by: @twilightlover2007
Summary: in where the Cullens are getting multiple covens together to help them convince the Volturi that Renesmee is not a danger Benjamin spots [Name] and is immediately enamored by her. Even with her two year old daughter. Also finding out they have similar abilities.
I sit in the living room with Bella and Edward as we watch Renesmee play with Athaliah. I cross my arms, holding myself. "How do you feel?" Edward asks me suddenly and I turn to him. "Read my mind." I roll my eyes, he scoffs out a laugh. "I'm asking so you can let it out."
He responds, I look back to the girls. "Yeah, we haven't talked much since you found out about her." Bella chimes into the conversation. I frown for a second.
"It's a weird situation, I don't really know how I feel." I tell them in all honesty. One second Renesmee was a newborn and seconds later she was months old and now she's physically 4 years old.
"I just wish we didn't have to deal with the Volturi. Once again." I hold my head in my hands. Last time we dealt with them was when I turned into a vampire, Athatliah was only 16 months old. They were worried that I would turn Athaliah.
We had to convince them I wouldn't go near her until I had control over my thirst and she wouldn't know anything about us until she was the age of turning or if anything I would fake my death and she'd never see us again. It's something I don't even want to consider. It's something I have 16 years until I have to truly think about. The Volturi believed us when Aro looked into Edward's mind along with mine. Also with the fact that my ability was strong, I would put up a fight. They didn't need any of their men dead.
"I wish that woman just talked to us before running straight to the Volturi. She's also going to get killed." I lift my head back up. Renesmee takes Athaliah over to us and they both smile. I pick up my daughter, placing her on my lap. Edward doing the same with his daughter.
"All right, lovely, it's time for a nap." I stand up. "I'll meet you guys outside." I tell my two best friends before walking upstairs. They have a crib that was originally for Renesmee in Edward's old room. I place Athaliah down. I could tell she was tired so when she started crying I knew it was only for a few minutes.
The first year of her life I cried almost every time she cried. I couldn't handle it. My mom was a huge help since Athaliah's dad left in the beginning of my pregnancy. His parents moved to a whole different state so he didn't have to be a father to our baby. I grieved the relationship in the beginning. I don't really care anymore.
Bella was the only friend I've had ever since giving birth. Other people judged right away. Not Bella. She sometimes would babysit for me if I had to work and no daycare. My mom would pay her as well. Edward then started to help with her. Then he bonded with Athaliah as well. They both became an aunt and uncle to my daughter. I am forever grateful for them.
When her cries stop I snap out of my thoughts. Quietly slipping out of the room. I go downstairs and join everyone outside. Bella and Edward showing the new vampires renesmee's gift. I look off into the distance to see Carlisle and Esme coming our way with three new people. They're from the Egyptian Coven, they drink human blood. I lock eyes with the younger looking man. His eyes were a dark red. They felt entrancing. I couldn't look away. That was until Rosalie comes up to me.
"Could you help me with something?" She asks in a quiet tone, I furrow my eyebrows but nod my head. Following after her. Feeling eyes watch me the entire time. The blonde leads me back into the house where Zafrina, Kachiri, and Senna were standing in our way. "These ladies are from the Amazon coven. They wanted to meet you." Rosalie speaks softly, I place a hand on my chest, confused on why they would want to speak to me. "They've heard of your ability." Emmett tells me, I let out a little 'oh' standing straighter.
"Zafrina likes meeting people similar to her. Having incredible gifts." Kachiri informs me. "What's your gift?" I tilt my head, intrigued. The quiet woman smiles slightly, staring at me. Focusing on something and then suddenly I'm not in the house anymore. I'm back outside. But not our outside. A different place. A place I've never seen before. It was gorgeous.
Then I'm back in the house and I stare at her with wide eyes. "That... was amazing." I tell her, utterly in shock. She grins back to me. "We'd like to see your ability." Kachiri says, I make a face, turning to Rosalie and Emmett who nod their heads for me to do it. "We'd uh, we would have to go outside." I lead the way outside, in front of the porch. The three from the Amazon Coven stand on the porch with Rosalie, Emmett was standing in the door frame.
I smile to them as the cloud above us gets darker than earlier. Their expressions are confused until I bring my arms in the air and it starts raining. It was sprinkling at first then thunder struck. I felt the others crowd around me. I then make it storm. Everyone getting soaked. And then suddenly it stops as I stop focusing on the sky. I take a deep breath. The others begin to clap.
"That's just a tiny bit of what she can do." Emmett roars out, I nod my head sheepishly. "How did you find that out?" One of the Denali sisters ask me. "When I turned, the pain caused a storm. The wind was strong. The weather was insane that night. Later on when I wasn't paying attention and every time I had a huge emotion, a storm began every time. It's a lot easier to control now." I smile as I then make it begin to snow. Renesmee runs up to me with a huge smile. I pick her up so she can play with the snowflakes.
"This is a powerful ability... The Volturi would have no chance against us." Garrett laughs beside Kate who has a tiny smirk on her face. "You could deflect my electricity and make it more powerful." She tells me, lifting one of her hands to show me the electricity coming out of it.
Then everyone begins to talk to one another about it. I place Renesmee down, she holds my hand though instead of running off. I listen outside of the others to see if Athaliah has woken up but her breathing is still slowed. I can tell she's about to wake up. Her naps aren't very long lately.
A person walks up to me, startling me. "Sorry, didn't mean to scare you." It was the younger looking man from the Egyptian Coven. I wave a hand. "It's alright, I was trying to make sure my daughter was still sleeping." I sigh out, looking down to my niece who was staring up at the man.
"Your daughter?" He asks, looking around. "Her name's Athaliah." I tell him, we begin to walk inside the house, Renesmee sticking by my side because I think she knows we're going to see my girl. "Beautiful name." He compliments, I quietly thank him. His looks are entrancing I can barely focus on what is being said.
It goes silent between us until Renesmee speaks up in a small sweet tone. "He can make tornados, smaller than yours though." I smile down at her. "Really?"
I've only created a tornado once and right as it formed we made it disappear. That was before Renesmee was born though. Of course Emmett told her about it though. "Our gifts are incredibly similar." He tells me. Before he can say anything else though I hear my daughter begin to stir. Her tiny whines sounding out to down here. "Oh, I have to go, I'll be back." I step up the first couple of steps. He stands there, I can tell her wishes to say something though.
Renesmee was already running to the bedroom though. "What's your name?" I ask him.
"Benjamin." He says. I smile. "Beautiful name." I then head up the stairs.
Renesmee is playing with Athaliah through the bars of the crib. I smile, heading over to them and picking up my daughter. "Let's go play downstairs." Renesmee says, taking my hand once again and dragging me back down. Benjamin was still standing there just as he was before I left.
I was glad to be honest. I was hoping he waited for me. "This is Athaliah, Athaliah, meet Benjamin." I bounce her on my hip, pointing to the beautiful man. She tiredly looks to him.
Then suddenly doing grabby hands at him for him to take her. I furrow my eyebrows. It usually takes her a minute to get used to new people. He sticks his hand out, letting her grab onto it. It wasn't enough though she lunges her body forward so he could take her out of my arms. I laugh. "Sorry, you don't have to-"
"I don't mind as long as you don't." He puts his hands out and I shrug my shoulders, handing her over to him. Renesmee watches, a little bit annoyed until Edward comes in and tells her to go with him somewhere. I watch as my daughter puts his face into her hands. I then wondered if that was a good idea looking at his eyes which were red. Meaning he eats humans.
I bit my lip. He looks over to me and I think he can sense my worry. He gives me a short smile and places Athaliah down. She walks back to me, hugging my legs. She's still waking up.
Later in the night Bella and I were getting the girls to sleep. Athaliah sprawled out, her arm going over Renesmee's torso. She's holding onto her hand. I look up to see Bella looking at someone. I trace where. It was Benjamin who was sitting beside Jacob. He was staring at me though. "He seems enamored by you." She whispers, careful not to wake the kids. I snort out a laugh. "Yeah, okay. He wants a single mom." I joke, rolling my eyes.
"I mean the whole time he's been here he's been staring at you. He keeps trying to talk with you and he's brought you up to us every chance he gets. Asking about your ability." She informs me and I give her a look. "Yeah, he's interested in my ability. Not me." I sit up straight, crossing my legs.
"You're so oblivious, [Name]." She comments, sitting up as well. We eventually get up listening to Vladimir and Stefan talk about how they despise the Volturi and why. They were characters, that was for sure.
I sit down by the fire, a log was already there but no one else was there. They all went to different areas of the woods. I stared at the flames wondering how tomorrow was going to go. Someone sat beside me but neither of us spoke. I didn't even move my head to see.
"[Name]." The person speaks up after moments of silence. I hum out in response. "I uh I've never been left this speechless before. I don't know what to say around you." It was Benjamin, I smile to myself before turning to face him. "I'm boring, I apologize." I say, now just observing his features and I wonder what he was like as a human. If he was always this perfect.
"No, you're not at all. You make me nervous. It's a feeling I don't think I've ever experienced." His eyes lock with mine and I badly want to look away. But I can't. I'm stuck in place. "When did you turn?" I slightly change the subject. "1815." My eyes widen to his answer. He begins to laugh at my reaction. "Sorry, that was rude." I rub my hands together, finally looking away due to embarrassment.
"I expected it, when did you turn?"
"Last year."
"A newborn practically and you're that in control of your ability?" He seemed to be surprised.
"I couldn't control my ability completely until maybe six years after turning." He then ignites fire from his pointer finger. "You control the elements?" I ask in amazement. "And you control the weather." He states.
"Our abilities are incredibly similar." I laugh, excited. Watching the flames on his finger tip before he closes his fist and it goes away.
For hours we talk about our abilities, about his life before turning. I do the same. Telling him a bit about Athaliah. It never felt like a bad subject bringing her up like it usually does with men.
He actually asks about her and that's where I feel he doesn't want to be with me but to be friends.
"Your daughter truly has your looks." We both look to my sleeping daughter who is still sprawled out. I smile. "Thank you. She's my everything." I tell him.
"I can tell."
"I'm interested in getting to know you more." Benjamin says, this time he cautiously takes my hand into his. Making sure I was okay with it before gripping a little tighter. "What do you want to know?" I nervously ask.
"No, I mean courting you. You being mine, me being yours." He explains, I scrunch my nose before saying. "it might be forward, I know this. But you, seeing you, talking to you today. It only makes me want to be yours more."
"What about Athaliah, she comes with, we're a package deal. I'm a single mother. She's human, you eat off... humans." I take my hand back, now giving him a serious expression. It feels crazy but I feel the same way. I feel so strongly for him and I can't lose it but I also have to put my child first.
"I'll love her as my own. I'll eat animals for you both. I'll learn." He assures me, I pause for a moment.
"This feels crazy." I laugh out. "But I'll give it a try. I'm interested in getting to know you more." Even though we don't know what's going to happen tomorrow I don't care. I deserve to be happy even for a little bit.

The little girl with firey hair story starts a little while back. The little girl was no less than two when she we welcomed into the Cullen family. The little girl's mother had died while giving birth to her and her father was unfit to take care of her.
The soul residents of small town in Alaska became concerned for the red-head child which led her in the hands of the chief of police. This was Beyond the cop's knowledge, so of course he called Carlisle Cullen who was head of the hospital he worked at the time. He had brought the small red-head girl to the hospital and Carlisle was in aw as the small girl stared at him with big doe eyes, almost too shy for her own good.
Carlisle knelt down to her hight and offered his hand. He smiled softly as the little girl approached him carefully. She was clueless to the situation but she knew she could trust the blonde doctor with gold eyes.
Alice had a vision of the red-head girl with freckles but the version she saw, Carlisle and Esme adopted her. Alice's visions had never been so wrong...
Not even the 300 year old vampire could explain what happened that day. As the little girl wondered around the bright house she curiously walked up to Emmett. He was setting in the living room playing video games when the small girl poked his knee a mumbled a small word...
“giant”
It was the first time they heard her talk and they were not disappointed. Emmett chuckled at the smell girl as she hugged on his giant leg. She didn't shy away from him. She did the same with Rosalie.
The family have never seen her this happy. She had gotten home from late from a shopping trip that same night and she was in love as soon as she saw the little girl's fuzzy red hair and beautiful freckles setting on Emmett's lap.
“who's this?” she smiled. The little girl waved at Rosalie and had a big cheesey smile. Rose loved every part of the little girl. In her eyes she's was perfect, from her red hair to her freckles.
The little girl stayed for about a week before the family made the decision of what would the future would be. As that week passed Rosalie grew more and More attached. She would always make sure she ate well and would do her hair everyday. Just like a mother would.
As for Emmett he was slightly afraid to be around the small human. With his bone crushing strength and everything else that came with being a vampire he would never forgive himself if he hurt her.
Of course that didn't stop the little girl. She would giggle and follow him around where ever he went. If he was working on his jeep she would laugh and crawl under it with him. If he was playing video games she would crawl into his lap begging him to read her a story.
All that two year old understood was, this was her home and the people around her was family. She was so young her brain told her Emmett and Rosalie was Mommy and Daddy. Which led Rosalie to life aultering decision after that one single word that fell out of Little red's mouth.
'mama'
Edward nor Jasper could even put into words how happy she was. When she heard that she was glowing with happiness as she held the little girl.
“mama loves you darling” she mumbled. After that the family knew she had a home there and they also knew Rosalie would fight tooth and nail for that little girl.
That night Rosalie layed on the couch as the little girl slept soundly in her arms. Emmett quietly joined her with a huge grien. “okay” he simply replied.
“okay?” she chuckled not really catching on.
“she's ours Rose” his smile only got bigger as he watched his mate hold the little girl with nothing but pure happiness.
“your mommy and daddy love you so much little y/n” Rosalie said kissing her sleeping head.
And that's how the little girl with red hair and freckles became y/n Hale-Cullen. The little girl brought so much joy into the family and each family member ment so much too her.
Emmett and Rosalie of course were #1 in her eyes but as she made herself comfortable in the family she also made meaningful relationships.
She was a listener and an observer so she quickly caught on that carlisle and Esme were her parents 'parents'. She would often call carlisle, Car or pops. When she was little she couldn't properly say his name which lead to Car and pops. Carlisle became close with the small child as well, he loved her personality and loved it when she'd ask about being a doctor. Then Esme. Y/n grew close with Esme immediately, if she wasn't with rose then she was with Esme.
Her Aunts and Uncles were the same. She'd never say it out loud but Jasper was her favorite uncle. Jasper would say y/n was the only thing pure in his life, but that was true for all of them.
Then there's the who vampire thing. Y/n wasn't stupid and of course she wanted to know why mom and dad never ate gold fish crackers like she did and she wanted to know why when ever she had a bad dreams mom and dad weren't in bed asleep when she ran in for comfort.
She was about six years old when she found out. She knew she had to keep it a secret and she was very good at it. This also led to Rosalie's fear of her becoming a vampire. Of course she wanted her daughter to be around Forever, but her heart broke eveytime she thought about the opportunities that would be tooken away from her. Which is why she's now 16 and looked the same age as her uncle Edward.
Y/n would never say it out loud but she was sick of it. She wanted to be like her family and it was hard for her grow up while everyone else in her family remained the same ages. She wanted her mom's gold eyes and her father's strength... She just wanted to feel normal in what she felt was a normal family but here she was, now 16 going to High school with her parents and her Aunts and Uncles.
Just livin' the dream...
--------( ....... )--------
So far Forks was y/n favorite palce to live. She's been just about everywhere, that came with being a Cullen. But something about this town was special to her. But the down fall was all the curious eyes. She didn't like the attention her family received. She hated how people would watch them... She hated how people watched her and that made her have second thoughts about the thing everyone loved about her.
She's was going through a 'phase' at least Emmett and Rosalie hoped it was. Her phase was she didn't like how her hair looked, no matter how many times Rosalie or Esme would tell her how beautiful she was. But no matter what she did with it everyone still seemed to be in aw about it.
Especially the boys at Forks High...
As I said before she hated how people watched her. Her beautiful hair is the reason why people watched her. She started to resent it no matter how many different ways Rosalie or Alice styled it or how many times Carlisle would say how beautiful it was. She just hated the attention. She hated the attention the high school boys gave her.
“Hey, y/n” Mike Newton said one day as she was leaving her English class.
Y/n wasn't a socializing type, hell she was shy. She would just mumbled a small hello with a smile. Mike continued to walk with her and eye her up and down.
“your hair is pretty today” Mike smiled. It was a nice thing to say, yes but as he said it y/n passed her uncle Jasper.
“Hey I was wondering if-”
Jasper slammed his locker shut in anger as he felt impure feelings the teen felt for his niece. In Mike's defense he truly liked her but he would never be her type. Jasper took on the role of the big brother he played at school and walked up to the two.
“hi y/n” he said glaring at Mike. Y/n rolled her eyes as milk gulped.
Jasper continued to walk down the hallway with the two as he intimidated Mike. Y/n sighed and looked down in embarrassment but at the same time thankfull it wasn't her father. Emmett would have made it ten times worse.
“Hey Mike, weren't you gonna say something?” y/n asked softly as they walked to their next class with Jasper.
He shrugged. “I honestly don't remember” he said staying silent in fear of what Jasper would do. They then walked passed Alice and Rosalie in the hallway he recoiled even further as he felt Rosalie's percing eyes. Rose didn't say anything though, she knew her daughter was safe with Jasper. She also knew Emmett would have a cow if he found out.
Despite the angry eyes of the Cullen family, Mike couldn't stop looking at her beautiful red hair. He loved the way the curls perfectly framed her face and bounced as she moved gracefully. But you just don't look at y/n Cullen like that. No matter if you have good intentions or not.
So Mike failed and so did a handful of others at school. Jasper of course kept it a secret like y/n asked but his mind would wonder and if it wondered to that one faithful day Edward would find out. And Edward refused to lie to Emmett or Rosalie when it came y/n.
This would lead to Emmett putting the fear of God in Mike dispite his daughter's pleas. Yes she found him annoying but the kindness Esme and Carlisle had tougher made her fear for Mike.
Tyler was the only one who was close to even getting a date with her. She actually liked him at one point but then he moved away. But after that y/n stopped showing interest in the boys of her school. She stopped even if they still loved her and her red hair.
Those human boys never mattered to her. There was no possible future due to her life style and family. They especially stopped mattering after she found her mate Benjamin...
The first thing Benjamin noticed about her was her freckled covered cheeks as she smile. He couldn't help but smile with her. He was in love with her firey red hair and couldn't stop staring at how it perfectly layed on her shoulders or how it reminded him of the sunsets at his home.
All the things she grew tired of because of the boys at Forks High, she grew to love because of Benjamin's genuine compliments and love he had for the things that made her stand out.

You did so amazing on the last one! I absolutely loved it!
Could I request Benjamin or Alec saving his human mate from a fire? Perhaps it's the first time he meets her, something led him there and just in the nick of time too! Even though she's coated in soot and her hair is singed he still thinks she's beautiful. She thinks he's an angel-I mean who else would run into a fire without protection?
Hello love!! Thank you so so much for another great request! It's been a pleasure talking to you <3 so let's jump in the fire, shall we? El <3
Benjamin- fire and smoke
⋆.ೃ࿔*:・
FEM reader
<3 (SFW)
TW- mentions of fire, reader inhales a lot of smoke
Benjamin saves you from burning building ^^
Happy end!!!
Benjamin
The air was thick with the acrid scent of smoke, wrapping around you like a shroud as you navigated the chaos of the burning building.
Fire licked at the walls, a voracious beast that danced and roared, consuming everything in its path. You had seen people rush past you, panicked and crying, urging one another to escape. But you stayed, spurred by a growing sense of responsibility, cradled firmly by the need to help as many as you could.
One last push. You tried to guide an elderly woman out of a cramped hallway when a loud crack echoed above.
You turned, glancing back just in time to see a chunk of the ceiling crash down where you had just stood. Panic seized you, but you shook your head to clear it. You were strong, and you couldn’t abandon those in need.
As you turned back to the woman, shouting for her to follow, you took a deep breath, only to feel the smoky air choke your lungs. Coughing violently, you urged her to move faster.
With a shaky hand, you reached for the door—only to find it engulfed in flames, a barrier that was rapidly becoming too much to bear.
Meanwhile, far from the chaos of urban life, a vampire named Benjamin felt an inexplicable pull. It was as if a whisper in the wind called to him, pulling his attention toward the city, toward the flames that illuminated the darkening sky.
He stood still for a moment, listening, feeling the essence of the fire through the air as if it were a living entity. His heart raced—not from fear, but from a deep-seated instinct to protect.
As he raced through the streets, the scent of smoke filled his nostrils, intermingling with something sweeter, more urgent.
Someone was trapped. Without a second thought, he surged forward, directing his energy to manipulate the elements surrounding him. He could feel the heat urging him closer, and the flames seeming to part just for him.
His heart raced as he dashed through the door of the building. Inside, the horror was palpable: walls smoldered, shadows danced, and smoke billowed like dark waves.
He instinctively sought the source of the intoxicating scent that stirred a fierce determination within him. Following his instincts, he moved silently through the haze, his vampire speed allowing him to dodge falling debris with ease.
Amidst the chaos, he found you. There you were, a figure silhouetted against the furious flames, framed in an ethereal glow by the inferno, ash covering your skin like a delicate veil.
He hesitated just for a moment, caught in the sight of you—afraid, brave, standing against the encroaching darkness. That same protective urge surged. He had to get you out.
"Stay back!"
You hollered, your voice horse and trembling with urgency.
“Not a chance.”
He replied, his voice smooth and assuring, cutting through your haze of smoke and fear. With a mere flick of his wrist, he summoned a gust of wind that carried the flames away momentarily, creating a gap in the furious wall of fire.
You stared at him, dazed. Was he… an angel? You had inhaled too much smoke to be certain, your mind clouded by disbelief and pain. Everything around you seemed unreal—his presence both calming and fierce.
“Come with me.”
He urged, his eyes glimmering with determination. You stumbled back into the reality of the situation, shaking off the cobwebs in your mind.
“Others…”
You gasped, voice thick with regret.
“I’ll help them.”
He promised, moving swiftly to the nearest door, assessing it for any signs of danger.
“Now, we go. Trust me.”
With a nod, you followed, still wary, yet desperate to escape the burning hell encroaching upon you. He brushed against your arm—an electric connection sparking, igniting a warmth in your chest that battled the chill of fear.
As Benjamin guided you through the battered halls, flames withdrew before him like melted wax, the heat dancing but not burning you.
He was graceful, powerful, and every step seemed choreographed against the chaos. Fear trickled back, but you fought it down, keeping your eyes fixed on him.
“Hold on,”
He instructed, and for some reason, when you felt his hands encircle your waist, a sense of safety enveloped you.
He lifted you effortlessly, his strength astoundingly overwhelming, and together you pushed through the door, emerging into the cool night air only to find a crowd gathered in horror at the flames consuming the building.
Your heart swelled with concern for others yet unaccounted for as Benjamin set you down gently.
But as you caught your breath, scanning the chaos, your gaze fell back on him. His presence felt grounding, and your heart quickened, cherry blossoms blooming in an unfamiliar garden.
“You’re safe now.”
He murmured, brushing soot from your cheek with fingers that felt like a soft whisper against your skin.
“Thank you.."
You rasped, gratitude flooding your words despite the chill of fear still embedded within you.
He offered a rare smile, his lips curving slightly.
“Let me check on the others.”
You were hesitant to release his gaze as he moved back toward the inferno, calling to others trapped within.
Even as you watched him disappear into the flames, you felt a flicker of something—deep appreciation, woven together with the threads of admiration and something more intoxicating.
Finally, a firefighter ran to your side, wrapping a blanket around your shivering shoulders.
“Are you okay?”
He asked, checking you for burns. Your eyes drifted back to where Benjamin had last been seen, and you felt that strange connection pulsing still within you.
As Benjamin emerged moments later, a group of frightened souls behind him, you realized you had felt truly alive in those moments of bravery and connection, standing alongside someone who could chase away darkness.
“Stay safe.”
He warned, one last glance exchanged, and you felt as though you had looked upon a star in the night, briefly illuminating your heart.
As the fire trucks roared into the night, you remained where you were, surrounded by chaos but drawn to the warmth of a moment that felt destined.
You knew this was not the end. Rather, it was the beginning of a new flame—one that sparked with the promise of adventure, bravery, and unexpected love.
In the depths of the burning building, you had found something more than fortitude; you had found an unbreakable bond in the face of fire.
This one was a bit longer! Also, sorry once again for waiting so long TwT

✭ twilight masterlist 2
The morning sun cast a warm, golden glow over the small town of Forks, Washington, as (Y/N) drove her old, reliable truck down the familiar winding roads. It had been years since she had left this place, seeking adventure and opportunities far from the quiet life of her hometown. But today, she was coming back for a reason she never expected.
(Y/N) had always been protective of her younger sister, Bella. They shared a special bond growing up, and even though life had taken them in different directions, that bond had never wavered. Over the past few years, (Y/N) had received sporadic updates about Bella from their father, Charlie. Bella had moved back to Forks after a brief stint in Arizona, citing health reasons, but the details had always been vague.
Today was different. Charlie had called (Y/N) late last night, his voice tinged with a mixture of relief and excitement. "Bella's better now, (Y/N)," he had said, his words filled with a joy she hadn't heard in a long time. "She's overcome her sickness."
Sickness? The word had sent shivers down (Y/N)'s spine. She needed to know what had happened to her sister. And there was another piece of news that had taken her by surprise. Bella had a child, a niece. "Edward's adopted niece," Charlie had explained. "They took her in after her mother died."
The sunlit trees lining the road to Forks swayed gently as (Y/N) pulled into the familiar driveway of her childhood home. Her heart pounded with a mixture of anticipation and worry. She had so many questions, and she couldn't wait to see Bella again.
Charlie was waiting on the porch, his eyes filled with an emotion that mirrored her own. They embraced tightly, father and daughter reunited after too long apart.
"Tell me everything, Dad," (Y/N) said, her voice trembling with emotion.
Charlie led her inside and began to fill in the gaps. Bella had been battling an illness, one that had left her weak and vulnerable. But Charlie spoke of her recovery with such pride and happiness that (Y/N) couldn't help but smile through her tears. She had always known that her sister was a fighter.
"And the child, Dad? Tell me about her," (Y/N) asked, her curiosity piqued.
Charlie's face softened. "Her name is Renesmee or Nessa as we call her. She's a sweet, bright little girl who's been through so much. Bella and Edward took her in when her mother passed away. They're raising her as their own."
(Y/N) nodded, her heart swelling with admiration for her sister's kindness. She couldn't wait to meet Renesmee and be a part of their lives.
"I want to see Bella, Dad," (Y/N) said, determination in her eyes. "And I want to meet my niece."
Charlie smiled, understanding the urgency in his older daughter's voice. "She's at their place now. I'll take you there."
As they left the house and headed towards Bella's home, (Y/N) couldn't help but wonder how much had changed since she had left Forks. Little did she know that her return would mark the beginning of a new chapter in their lives, one filled with love, family, and unexpected blessings.
The Cullen house stood as impressive as ever, its grandeur hidden beneath the towering pines of the forest. (Y/N) and Charlie parked the truck and made their way to the front door. (Y/N) felt a strange mix of excitement and apprehension as they approached. She hadn't seen Bella in years, and she had never met Bella's husband, Edward, or their adopted niece, Renesmee.
Before she could even reach for the doorbell, it swung open to reveal Alice Cullen, her radiant smile lighting up the doorway. "Welcome to our home, (Y/N)!" Alice exclaimed, pulling her into a warm hug. "Everyone's been eagerly awaiting your arrival."
(Y/N) couldn't help but be surprised. "How did you know I was coming?" she asked, her curiosity piqued.
Alice's eyes twinkled with a secret that she couldn't reveal. "Charlie sent Bella a message earlier today, saying you'd be joining us."
Charlie nodded in agreement, but (Y/N) couldn't shake the feeling that there was more to it. She pushed the thought aside and stepped inside.
The Cullen home was just as beautiful as she remembered it, filled with a sense of elegance and warmth. In the spacious living room, she spotted Bella standing beside a tall, bronze-haired man who could only be Edward. Her heart skipped a beat as she saw her sister, who had transformed into a graceful, confident woman.
"Bella!" (Y/N) called out, rushing forward to envelop her sister in a tight hug. "I've missed you so much."
Bella's eyes filled with tears as she returned the embrace. "I've missed you too, (Y/N). It's so good to see you."
As they pulled away, Edward stepped forward, a warm smile on his face. "I'm Edward," he said, extending his hand. "It's nice to finally meet you in person."
(Y/N) shook his hand, feeling an immediate sense of trust and warmth. "Likewise, Edward. Bella's told me so much about you."
Just then, from Edward's arms, (Y/N) noticed a small bundle of joy. It was a beautiful, dark-haired baby with wide, curious eyes. (Y/N) couldn't help but gasp in delight.
"This is Renesmee," Bella said, her voice filled with motherly pride. "Our daughter."
(Y/N) leaned in to get a closer look at the three-month-old baby. "She's absolutely precious," she whispered, her heart melting at the sight of the tiny miracle in Bella's arms.
Edward smiled proudly as he carefully handed Renesmee over to (Y/N). The baby blinked up at her with a hint of recognition, her small hand reaching out to touch (Y/N)'s cheek.
"I think she likes you," Bella remarked, her smile widening.
(Y/N) held the baby close, overwhelmed by a rush of emotions. She couldn't believe how much her sister's life had changed, but it was a change filled with love and happiness.
As they all gathered in the living room, (Y/N) couldn't help but feel that this reunion was a long-overdue blessing. She had her sister back, and now she had the chance to be a part of this new, loving family that Bella had found in Forks.
The morning passed in a blur of joy and laughter as (Y/N) and Renesmee played together in the cozy Cullen home. They had explored every corner of the backyard, watched cartoons that left them both giggling, and played with an assortment of baby toys that seemed to multiply with each passing hour. By the time the afternoon sun bathed the living room in a warm glow, exhaustion had caught up with them.
(Y/N) sat on the couch, cradling Renesmee in her arms as the little one's eyelids drooped with sleep. It had been a day filled with new discoveries and boundless affection, and both of them were in need of a nap.
As (Y/N) closed her eyes and felt the rhythmic rise and fall of Renesmee's breath against her chest, she couldn't help but smile. The bond she was forming with her niece was something she cherished deeply.
Unbeknownst to (Y/N), Bella had been quietly snapping pictures of the two of them, capturing the precious moments shared between her sister and her daughter. She had missed these family moments so much, and it warmed her heart to see (Y/N) and Renesmee getting along so well.
Edward gently took Bella by the hand and led her aside, away from the sleeping pair on the couch. His expression was grave as he spoke in hushed tones. "Carlisle called. Garrett and Benjamin are coming to pay us a visit."
Bella's eyes widened with surprise. "Garrett and Benjamin? Why?"
Edward sighed, knowing the situation required a careful explanation. "Carlisle didn’t say much."
Bella glanced back at her sister and the peacefully sleeping Renesmee.
Edward hesitated before responding, "They are aware that we have guest over right now. But bella, (Y/N), doesn’t know of our secret and we can't risk exposing her to our world."
Bella nodded in understanding, her heart heavy with the weight of the decision. She had always strived to protect her sister from the dangers of their supernatural life.
Edward continued, "Carlisle already warned them about (Y/N) being here like I said, they also know she’s human so he’s asked them to wear contacts to conceal their eyes.“
Bella looked back at her sister and daughter with a mixture of gratitude and concern. "I'll do whatever it takes to keep them safe, Edward. They mean everything to me."
Edward placed a reassuring hand on her shoulder. "We'll get through this together, Bella. For the safety of our family."
As they returned to the living room, Bella couldn't help but feel a sense of foreboding, like their visit wasn’t all that innocent.
The Cullen house was filled with a palpable tension as Garrett and Benjamin arrived, their footsteps silent against the lush carpeted floor. They were known among the vampire community as mates, bound together by a connection deeper than mere friendship. But lately, they had felt something missing from their lives, a void they couldn't ignore.
They had heard rumors of a vampire legend, one that suggested vampires could have more than one mate. It was a risky and rare phenomenon, but they believed it might hold the answer to their unease. That's why they had come to Carlisle for what could only be described as a "check-up" of sorts.
As Carlisle greeted them at the door, his golden eyes concealed behind human-like contact lenses, he welcomed them with a warm smile. "Garrett, Benjamin," he said, extending a hand to each of them. "It's good to see you both."
Garrett and Benjamin nodded in response, their gazes scanning the room. There was an air of anticipation that hung in the air, but they couldn't quite pinpoint the reason for it.
Carlisle led them further into the house. "You must be quite Bella's sister is asleep on the couch with my grandchild."
The mention of Bella's sister piqued Garrett and Benjamin's curiosity, but they remained composed as they followed Carlisle.
As they entered the living room, their eyes fell upon the sight that took their breath away. (Y/N) was asleep on the couch, her chest rising and falling with the peaceful rhythm of slumber. In her arms, she cradled Renesmee, the infant's dark curls blending with (Y/N)'s own hair.
The moment their eyes locked onto (Y/N), something extraordinary happened. Garrett and Benjamin felt a sudden surge of intense emotion, a connection so profound that it left them momentarily stunned. It was the mating bond, a rare and powerful force that bound vampires together for eternity.
Bella, who had been watching their reactions closely, recognized the look of astonishment on their faces. She couldn't contain her smile as she approached them. "Garrett, Benjamin, meet my sister, (Y/N)."
Garrett and Benjamin exchanged glances, unable to tear their eyes away from (Y/N). It was as if they had found the missing piece of their lives, the answer to the emptiness they had felt.
(Y/N) stirred on the couch, slowly waking from her nap. Her eyes fluttered open, and she met the intense gazes of Garrett and Benjamin. In that instant, the mating bond solidified, binding the three of them together in a way they couldn't fully comprehend.
Bella's heart dropped in dread as she watched the extraordinary connection unfold before her. It had been the same look Edward gave her, the same one Emmett shared with Rosalie and Alice with jasper, she knew that look all to well and she was afraid that they all knew that their lives were now forever changed.
Carlisle led Garrett and Benjamin into a separate room, away from the watchful eyes of (Y/N) and the rest of the family. The tension in the air was palpable, and they needed to discuss what had just transpired.
Once they were in the privacy of the room, Garrett spoke first, his voice filled with awe and confusion. "Carlisle, we felt it... the mating bond. It was like a tidal wave, overwhelming and undeniable."
Carlisle's brow furrowed in concern. "This is troubling, indeed," he admitted. "A mating bond is a powerful force, but this situation is far from simple."
Benjamin, ever the optimist, couldn't help but see the bright side. "Isn't this a good thing? We've found our missing piece, someone who completes us."
Carlisle nodded slowly. "Yes, that's great for the two of you, but we have to consider that Charlie and (Y/N). They are all Bella has left linking her to her human life. Now that the two of you have found a mate within (Y/N), I fear how Bella might react."
Just as they were grappling with the complexity of the situation, the door swung open, and Bella entered, her eyes blazing with anger but her voice deceptively calm. "Did you do what I think you did?"
Garrett attempted to defuse the situation with a charming smile. "Bella, it's not something we planned. The mating bond, it's beyond our control."
But Bella wasn't placated. She pushed Garrett aside and confronted Benjamin. "You can't control who you mate with," he said.
Edward, who had been listening from the hallway, appeared at that moment. He knew how to handle Bella's emotions better than anyone. "Bella, come with me," he urged gently, placing a reassuring hand on her shoulder.
Bella hesitated for a moment, her eyes still locked onto Benjamin. But eventually, she relented and allowed Edward to lead her out of the room and into the forest to hunt.
As they disappeared into the woods, the tension in the room eased slightly, but the weight of the situation remained. Garrett, Benjamin, and Carlisle were left to grapple with the implications of the unexpected mating bond and the potential consequences it might bring to their unconventional family.

Caius having a mate with ADHD
Pairing: Caius Volturi x reader
Warnings: None
Requested: @fromheaventohell12
Request:
Can you continue with the sarong a reader with adhd? With Caius volturi?
***
• You like to play your own theme song when walking into the throne room where the kings are
• Your theme song is “Let The Bad Times Roll” by The Offspring
• Everyone being weary around you, as they don’t want to do something that could upset you, so they’re friendly yet careful
• As if Caius isn’t overly protective enough, he finds a reason to add on more to that. It could be any reason, which includes nothing, Caius almost never leaves your side
• Caius loves you nonetheless, he will love you forever and will love you to pieces
• You had good days and bad days, when it’s a bad day, you are distracted easily, can hardly focus at all on just about anything
• Sometimes when you feel the need of having to defend yourself, there’s a chance you can get a little too egressive, and the first time Caius saw that side of you, he was both surprised and amused
• Amused because you can strike fear into someone if driven over your limit of tolerance
• Surprised because a couple of confrontations you had with others turned into actual fights, almost like you were back in high school joining the other kids in a circle to watch a good fight
• The last fight you had started went a little too far, you had thrown a few good punches and hits that you had dislocated the poor man’s jaw and seeing you were at no point in stopping any time soon, Caius had to pull you off and stop the fight himself
• Though Caius would never admit it, but there have been a couple of times in which he was unable to remove you alone and sought help from the other kings who soon turned to be just as amused just as much as Caius had been, but they agree to intervene and stop the madness brewing
• ADHD is not easy but is manageable, Caius is always checking to make sure you’re taking the medicine prescribed by your doctor before he does anything else
• There had been one certain occasion that you missed because of how much you enjoy reading any book
• That event was Caius’s birthday and though he didn’t say anything about it, he found it adorable of you trying to go out of your way to make up for it
• In the end, Caius reassures you until you follow through and listen to him when he says not to worry about
• But in the back of your mind, you still worry and it wasn’t doing you any good
• Not only did you have ADHD, but you had anxiety along with it and that gave Caius the need to make sure you’re protected and not hurt
• If you’re going through one, he is always there for you, and he uses one or two of your own jokes told to him in the past by you
• “How did they punish Hellen Keller for using the phone?”
• You just shrug, already knowing the answer to this one and yet it still makes you laugh like it’s the first time you are hearing it
• Caius loves the sound of your laugh, that’s one of the many things he loves/admires about you
• Sometimes when you’re in the throne room with Caius, you have your bottle containing your medicine in your pocket. On several occasions you had left the bottle behind without even realizing it until one of the kings return it to you
• Caius doesn’t go anywhere without making sure you had what you needed
• He tries to keep you as close as possible, sometimes when he is with you during the night, you play all sorts of different games to help you to better focus
• The games you have come from the same ones you played throughout your childhood
• Your favorite was Yahtzee
• Sometimes you two wouldn’t be doing anything beside cuddling and taking it easy for the day
• Despite his busy schedule, Caius always makes sure to squeeze time in to spend with you
• Which is something you appreciate more than words can describe

Benjamin X Human!Reader Cute Prompt with light angst and a cute ending [Short Prompt]
!TW: Word ‘killed’, mention of heart break!
Benjamin noticed you looking at him strangely, and he would be confused, his eyes meeting your’s. “Stop looking at me like that,” he spoke quietly, a soft smile playing on his lips as his eyes lit up briefly.
“Like what?” You played dumb, nervous and embarrassed at yourself.
“Like I’m going to disappear,” he clarified, stepping closer to you.
You winced, bowing your head. “Well, are you? Because last time-” You remembered when he had just - gone, and didn’t come back until a couple of years had past.
Benjamin frowned, wrapping his arms around your lower back, his eyes meeting your’s. “I’m not going anywhere. I promise you,” he assured, shocked that you would think he would leave you again. “I spent too much time away from you, and it began to hurt me, so I had to return to you before it killed me.” You would rest your head beneath his chin, listening to his steady heartbeat whilst also wishing that the moment wouldn’t end. “I love you, Y/N - I’ll always be by your side. Even if I had to leave for a short time, I’d always come back.”
You would try to believe him, but you never wanted to feel the heart break you’d suffered again. “You promise?” You whispered, your voice weak.
“I promise,” he whispered back, gently kissing the top of your head to try and reassure you that he meant everything that he was saying.

Benjamin X Reader Mostly fluffy prompt (Linked to last prompt)
Benjamin laid comfortably on top of you, and you couldn’t move him, and you didn’t want to shove him as that would be mean. “Y’know - Your bed could be more comfortable than me,” you stated, and he shook his head, still no intention to get off of you.
“Nah, I’m good,” he responded, and you grunted, trying to feel comfortable as you moved a little beneath him.
༺𐦐༻
You grinned when you noticed Jacob approaching you, and Benjamin watched anxiously; he was worried that Jacob would hurt you. “I’ve been gathering my courage to talk to you for so long after you became a bloodsucker,” he claimed, “and now - I did it.” You giggled, playfully and gently slapping his shoulder as you didn’t want to be too forceful.
↯
You would be surprised when Benjamin suddenly pressed you against the wall in the hallway, and you would be scared, until you realised it was him. “What the Hell were you doing with Jacob?” Benjamin questioned, and you grunted, rolling your eyes; you thought that he’d gotten over it already as you’d spoken to him about it before. “It’s obvious that you like him,” Benjamin stated, and you managed to push him off of you.
“I don’t!” You retorted, annoyed that he would even think that you did. “Are friends not allowed to be playful with each other?” You spat, and Benjamin looked away from you, getting an idea.
“Playful?” Benjamin repeated, and you nodded. “What? Like this?” Benjamin would surprise you when he held up your jacket so you could see it; he’d originally tried to find you to return it to you, before he found you and Jacob talking.
“Is that my-?” You tried to take it from him, but he held it higher, smirking. Gimme that back!” You demanded in a whiny voice, and he chuckled, taking the opportunity to tickle you with his free hand. You whimpered, trying to escape his hold, until he stopped tickling you, offering you your jacket, and you warily accepted it from him, though you thought he’d tease you again.
Benjamin then stepped closer to you, placing his hand on your cheek, before he connected his lips to your’s, kissing you delicately as if you were fragile. You stared into Benjamin’s reddish brown eyes once the kiss was over, and he grinned when he noticed that you were blushing profusely; he always had this effect on you, practically from the very beginning. “So - You don’t have feelings for Jacob?” Benjamin asked, hopeful, though he could already see that you didn’t.
“Of course I don’t! Besides he imprinted, remember?” You reminded him, and Benjamin winced when he remembered, embarrassed for forgetting. “I love you, B,” you added softly, before you connected your forehead to his. “I always will,” you assured, and Benjamin couldn’t help, but smile in response as his eyes locked with your’s.
“You guys are so cheesy it’s disgusting.” You winced when you heard Emmett’s voice, and the two of you looked over at him. Emmett guessed what you both might be thinking, and he shook his head. “I won’t tell, don’t worry,” he reassured, and you both expressed relief, smiling your thanks to him. Emmett smiled kindly back, before he walked away from you both. You then wrapped your arms around Benjamin, and he returned the hug, wishing you both could have more moments like this together.
~~~~~~
Enjoy ! ❤️
Twilight Imagines- Jasper x Fem! Reader
I Am A Fool
[other imagines]
Requested by: @raviolisblog
Summary: Reader is a nurse in the military which is how she meets Jasper, they fall in love and plan a future together but unfortunately Jasper gets moved to another base and they are separated. Which is where he turns and disappears, his writing to Reader stops and she doesn’t understand why. Only to go into her own demise, turning into a vampire. She searches for her love for over a century.
"[Name]!?" A voice calls after me as I clean my medicine station. I turn around to see my only friend, Esther. Both of us started training to become military nurses at the same time. We stuck around each only each other in the beginning and then that's eventually how it stayed. "Yes?" I respond with a tiny smile upon my face.
"Did you hear the soldiers and us will be eating lunch together this week?" She asks, her eyes sparkling with joy. I only chuckle at her question, getting back to what I was doing before she came into the tent. "I did hear. It doesn't matter though, I'm stuck with cleaning duty this week." I sigh out, annoyed. I didn't really care either, getting to know the soldiers who treat us nurses like dirt. As if we aren't the ones who take care of them whenever they get injuries that range from the tiniest splinter to gunshot wounds.
"Oh, [Name], you have to join me. I'll help you get your work done." She grabs my hand, forcing me to look at her once again. I raise a brow at her. "Please, I would like to get to know them. Maybe... we won't be as lonely." She whispers, glancing around but there was no one else but us there.
I knew she had another motive though. She wanted to fall in love. It was something she always talked about. Wishful thinking. All because of these romance novels she read before becoming a nurse.
"I don't mind being lonely, Esther. Besides I don't think I could handle the stupidity that reeks off of those men." I take my hand back from her grasp. Finishing up my cleaning.
"[Name], I will only beg this of you for the rest of the week." She tells me in a sharp tone. "That's only 7 days. I shall live." I grin cheekily, sitting down as I write down things I need from the utility room.
"[Name], join me one day at least. Please." She pleads with me, dropping down in front of where I sit. I place my clipboard and pencil down. Staring at her for a moment before throwing my head back. "One day, Esther. That's all I give you. No more begging after that." I point a finger in her face. Her expression beams with happiness, she stands up from the ground, grabbing my hands once again. "Thank you, thank you. You will not regret it!" She squeals, kissing my hands as if I had saved her family member from death or something. I shake my head, with a tiny smile that I couldn't hide even if I tried. "I better not." I mutter in a joking voice.
And the day after that conversation is the day she chose for me to join her to lunch. Lunch with the army men that chatted with every woman that they could. Multiple coming up to us. I sat silent during most conversations. Esther enjoying every moment. I quietly ate my food. Observing how the nurses almost dumb themselves down for all the men that come their way. It was embarrassing. I felt embarrassment for them. Even though I know they couldn't care less how they're perceived unless it is by the said men.
I stand up abruptly to throw away my empty tray. My best friend doesn't even notice I had left. I shake my head with a small laugh. She would've been fine without me, if only she had known.
After throwing away my tray I stand there for a moment, deciding on if I should go back to my seat or go start on some cleaning. My thinking was interrupted by a tap on the shoulder. I stand up straighter, mentally preparing myself for a horrible, short conversation. I turn to see a longer haired blond.
He looks familiar as well. I glance down to his empty tray. "Sorry, am I in your way?" I ask, stepping to the side. "Only a little bit." He gives me a curtly smile, his dimples forming immediately. "My apologies." I bow my head, I go to walk away but he clears his throat. "May I ask what your name is?" He speaks up once again. "I guess you may." I joke before answering him. "[Name] [Last Name]." I tell him.
"That's a beautiful name." He compliments me and I feel my face begin to heat up. I stammer for a moment, attempting to calm myself down before speaking. "Uh, thank you. I uh I better get going." I start to walk backwards bumping into a table. Apologizing to it like an idiot before hurrying away to start on cleaning tasks.
"I looked like a fool Esther!" I cry out, hiding my face in my hands. "I'm sure you didn't." She disagrees with me, I could tell she wasn't paying attention though. Her eyes looking off into the distance as we were supposed to be doing tasks for the day. Cleaning the sheets from the men's beds. "Oh but I did. I bumped into a table and said sorry to it as if it were a human." I ranted to her anyways. "Oh wow." She mumbles.
"I feel as though you do care for what I am saying." I stop my cleaning, staring at her. "Mhm." She hums, she was looking around, outside of the tent. I roll my eyes. "Who are you looking for, Esther Anne?" I question her loud enough to snap her out of it. Her eyes widen as she looks at me. "I'm not looking for anyone." She shakes her head. Lying to me. "Right. What did I just say moments ago?"
She stays silent in response and I begin to laugh. "Ugh, I'm sorry [Name]. I just, I've been talking to one of the soldiers. His name is Ryan. He's perfect. He walked me to the tent after lunch yesterday and then found me later in the day." She excitedly informs me, going back to looking out of the tent where the men walk by. "He told me he'd look for me today." She smiles brightly. "I'm sure he will." I assure her, going back to washing the sheets.
"Oh I hope so." She quietly says under her breath. "So the man you talked to yesterday, was he cute? He had to have been if you called yourself a fool over him." She changes the subject and I glare at her. "I did not call myself a fool over him. It was over me bumping into a table." I argue with her, upset that she would even say that. Acting stupid over a man. I make fun of women like that all the time. I wouldn't go doing it myself. "You didn't answer my question." She sings.
"What question?" I furrow my eyebrows. "Was he cute?" She asks with a smirk. "He was..." I think back to his looks. His hazel eyes, his dimples that appeared when he smiled or even talked a little bit. His blond hair that fit him perfectly. I shake the thoughts out of my head. "He was all right." I shrug my shoulders. She stares at me for a moment with a disbelieving expression. "Yeah, okay."
I don't have the energy to argue with her this time though. Moving on from the conversation as we put all the sheets into baskets, heading out of the tent to hang them up to dry.
Esther begins to talk about Ryan again, describing his features and physical beauty. I stayed quiet only responding when there was a pause of silence.
As we hung up the sheets I felt a couple of presences pop up behind us. I turn around to see the man from yesterday along with two others.
"What can we do you for?" I ask, wondering why they came up to us. Esther notices them and her eyes widen. "Oh Ryan, you found me." She grins, hooking up one last sheet before going up to him. "I told you I would." He smiles gently. He was on the shorter side but he genuinely matched her so well.
"This is Jasper, a friend of mine. And this is John." He introduces his friends. I stare at the ground as they talk. Esther shaking the other men's hands. "Nice to meet you two." She sweetly says. "You as well, I have to get going though. Just wanted to see the pretty girl he won't shut up about." John messes with Ryan before walking away. Ryan rubs the back of his neck embarrassed but Esther only grins ear to ear hearing that.
Suddenly she snaps out of her trance and pulls me forward. "This is [Name], she's my best friend I told you about." She tells the two men not knowing that Jasper is the man I told her about. "Pleasure to meet you." Ryan nods his head to me and I do the same. I look at Jasper who already has a smile on his face. "Nice to meet you, again." He says to me and I give a short smile. Esther has a shocked face but then smirks.
"I was going to show Ryan something on one of the trails, you two should get to know one another." Esther grabs the shorter man by the arm, beginning to walk away. "What? But- Our other chores!" I call after her. "We have time to finish them later." She smiles, turning away and ignoring my other protests.
I give up and turn to the man in front of me. "Hah, so... Jasper is your name." I awkwardly say. He chuckles, nodding his head. "Jasper Whitlock." He sticks his hand out. "Whitlock." I repeat quietly. It's familiar. I take his hand but I don't let go as I try to remember who he is.
"I've taken care of you before." I tell him suddenly. My grip lessening on his hand but I still don't let go. Not even realizing I'm doing it. "That is true. I got sick with a common cold." He says. I stare at him, scrunching my nose. I glance down to see our hands still holding and I let go quickly. "Right, glad to see you're feeling better." I grab the baskets from the ground, stacking them so it's easier to carry.
"Thank you, let me help you." He begins to take the baskets from my hands and surprisingly I let him. We go to the tent to put the baskets away. "Thank you." I say softly, he smiles. His dimples forming even more. I feel my body stiffen and I don't know what to talk about with him.
"Would you want to join me on a stroll in town?" He asks me suddenly and I go to talk but he speaks up once again. "Not today, maybe during the weekend. When you've finished your tasks." He finishes, he seemed nervous and I still stay silent. Not knowing how to respond without stuttering or making myself look like an idiot in front of this beautiful man. "You don't have to, it would be as friends." He assures me, the word friends disappoints me though. I smile. "I would love to join you." I begin to walk out of the tent. "Even if it was more than friends." I tell him.
"I have to go to my higher up, maybe I will see you in the evening?" I ask him, turning to look at him as he still stood in the tent. "Maybe I will look forward to it." He responds and I break out into a smile before walking away.
Days pass, Esther has been busy with Ryan along with her duties so we haven't seen each other much. Only before we go to bed and attempt to catch each other up on everything that has been happening. Jasper comes to find me every day. Even for a short minute it's only to talk to me. Making sure I'm still up for our stroll on Saturday evening, today. He will be seeing me outside of my uniform. Unfortunately he will still be in his. I don't mind it though, I rather enjoy him in it.
I finish up with my tasks for the day, changing into a frilly black skirt and a light pink long sleeved shirt. Tucking it into the skirt. I go to the mirror, checking out the outfit before putting my boots on. It's rare I ever wear these types of clothes. Only being in my uniform lately. It was a nice change. My hair was curled as normal, styled in a certain way that was a little different than what I do for work.
I was happy with how I looked. I head out of the bedrooms and go to the dining hall where he told me to meet him. To my surprise he was already standing there. He didn't notice me walking up to him so I try to stay quiet before loudly saying "boo!" His body jolts up and he looks up at me. "Oh my goodness." He clutches his chest. I laugh, apologizing. "That was too good!" I clap my hands together.
"That was good, but just know there will be payback." He tells me and I smile. "Oh really?" We begin to walk. "Mhm, you'll never expect it." He looks ahead, leading me to the horse stables.
We take his horse into town, I hold onto him the whole time. Maybe more than I have to but I don't hear him complaining.
Once he gets to a spot to tie the horse to I let go of him so he can get down. I watch as he ties the reins to a pole. He pets the animal before his attention goes to me. He lifts his hand and I take it. I swing my leg over and make sure my skirt won't slide up.
I then panic on how I'm going to get down. "I have never really been on a horse before." I tell him suddenly. He furrows his brows. "You got on with ease though?" He reminds me and I smile awkwardly. "I just watched how you get up and I hoped for the best." I tell him and he begins to laugh.
"Just jump down." He tells me and I look at the ground and it feels higher up than it actually is. "I'm a little fearful, Whitlock." I admit to him. "I got you darlin, I promise." He says, but it's still not enough. "What if my skirt rides up?" I pat down the fabric that I am wearing.
"I won't let that happen." He assures me and I sigh out. I was still holding his hand. "here." He lets go of my hand and then both of his hands grab my waist. "Jump off, I got you." He nods for me to do it and I grimace. I close my eyes and then do as told. I let out a little noise but he puts me down gently and I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding.
"See, nothing to worry about when I'm around." He nudges me and I smile. "Sorry about that." I frown, holding my hands together. "You're quite alright, darlin. It was a cute moment I will cherish." He takes my arm and we begin to walk. "Darlin a new name for me?" I tease him, moving closer to him as I hold his arm. I look up at him to see him smiling. "If you'd like it to be." He looks down at me in the corner of his eye instead of actually turning his head.
"I don't mind it." I answer, looking forward.
The rest of the day we talked, he bought me little treats throughout the stroll. Telling me it's to support local businesses.
It was a wonderful date that I want to do for the rest of my life. Especially with Jasper. It has only been a week and I think I've fallen for him. In a way that's almost painful when we're apart. I take in every minute we have together.
Weeks pass and it seems we only fall for one another harder than the day before. Our lips haven't even locked but the passion between us is something I've never felt before. We talk of the future. The ending of the war and building a life together.
At least that's what we did until he got told he was leaving to another base. He ran immediately to me to tell me. "Maybe I can leave too, you guys will need nurses." I say in a hopeful tone but he frowns. "I was told they already had their nurses at that base." He was gripping my hand as if I would go away. "I can still ask. We have to be positive." My chest began to move up and down. Panicking. You never know what is to happen in the war.
If this will be our last moments together. I couldn't bear the thought of never seeing Jasper ever again. "Hey, my darlin. It's okay. It's okay." He places a hand on my cheek trying to soothe my thoughts away. I lean into his hand.
"I will write to you every day." I tell him, letting go of his hand to pull him into an embrace. His arms go around me, holding my waist tightly. "As I will do the same." He whispers, kissing the top of my head. We let go and I stare at his lips. One of his hands was still on my waist.
A tear fell from my eye. "Don't cry, darlin." He kisses it away. "I'm not." I lie.
He lets out a small, pain filled laugh. "Can I kiss you?" I ask. "You don't have to ask, my love." He tells me and I put my hand on the back of his neck as I pull him into a kiss. The touch of our lips leaves shivers down my spine. Igniting a fire within me and I never want it to go out.
I never wanted this feeling to go. Even when he left, I saved every letter he sent me. I waited for every letter to come. Writing back immediately.
Then a week passed where I got nothing. Then it turned to two weeks. I couldn't sleep, knowing there was something wrong. He wouldn't do that to me. He wouldn't stop writing to me for no reason. His last letter filled with love and affection. He couldn't have just lost that feeling with me. Something had to have happened. I ran to Ryan not knowing who else to go to.
Esther and him were eating together when I showed up. I looked like a mess. My hair hasn't been kept together, my clothing wasn't as neat as usual. The eye bags under my eyes showing how much sleep I haven't been getting. "Have you heard from him?" My voice was raspy and hoarse. Ryan's eyes faltered and I didn't know what that could mean. Anxiety filled me.
"Have you heard from him, Ryan?" I repeat myself. Esther stared at me sadly. Did she know something I didn't? Did everyone know something I didn't? "Ryan?" I ask.
"They can't find him." He tells me and my body straightens. "What do you mean they can't find him?" I ask.
"He was doing a stroll, he was by himself and hours passed. He never showed back up. I just got word from my Lieutenant. He hasn't been seen for two weeks. His horse came back but not him." He explains to me and I begin to feel dizzy. I grip on the wall beside me. "He could be found. They can find him." I say, it was mainly to myself. I started to spiral. Clutching my chest. "He might've um, he must've gotten lost. The horse possibly flung him off." I say to the two in front of me. "Running off without him, you know? Right?" Eyes filled my eyes as I look to them for reassurance but their faces don't give me what I wanted.
I lose it and begin to sob. Seconds later arms hold onto me. It was Esther. She tried to give me comforting words but nothing works. I soak her shirt as I cry.
I cry only to feel numb. The numbness growing as more weeks pass and nothing new is brought to Ryan or to I. He's officially a missing soldier. They want to call him a dead man but I won't let them. I won't let anyone call him a dead man. He's alive. I know it. He can't be dead.
I ended up getting moved to a new base, Esther and Ryan also were coming. There's been cases of animal attacks here. Draining blood from the bodies. It's incredibly strange. Us nurses are working hours on end, even going into the next day. Helping the villages around the base as we've been instructed to do.
I was told to go to one with Esther, and two other nurses. A few soldiers were guarding the village, Ryan was luckily one of them for Esther. They were the lucky couple. Somehow always getting put together. I was envious. Wishing that could've been Jasper and I and we never would've been separated. He never would've gone missing.
It was a late night and Esther and I were working the shift tonight. Working with children that had lost their parents. I was tired, holding a toddler in my arms. Esther was reading a story to the older children to get them to bed. The toddler I held was fast asleep. His slowed breathing only made my tiredness worse.
And eventually I accidentally fell asleep.
Waking up to the sounds of screaming outside of the tent. My eyes shot open, the toddler I once had in my arms was now in a crib beside me. I look around to find Esther but I couldn't see her. I count to make sure all the children were there and it seemed like one was missing. Maybe they were going to an outhouse is what I thought to calm myself but when I remember I woke up to screaming I go to the exit of the tent. Hearing another scream.
I look back to the sleeping children. None of them even flinching to the scream. I poke my head outside of the tent and see something run in front of me. I gasp, getting back into the tent.
I back away not knowing what to do. It was fast. Faster than a human, faster than any animal I've ever seen.
I look around and find a metal stick that's to control fires. I step outside of the tent. Hearing a scream again. This time I realize it's Esther's screams. A child crying with it. My heart begins to race and I run towards the sound. Staying quiet.
I look up to see smoke, along with light further in the village. I grip the stick and head towards the fire. It was a stupid idea but I couldn't just let Esther die. Along with that poor child.
As I get closer I see Esther holding the child. There were people standing around her and she was cornered. I didn't know what to do. I stood there like a coward. Like a fool.
I am a fool.
I didn't even notice the man that stood behind me. The man who grabs me, covering my mouth as he bites into my neck. I let out a muffled scream. I feel my blood draining from my body but it stops and my body drops to the ground. I see a woman attacking the man who just bite me.
I feel immense pain growing in my neck. I sweat from the pain. I groan, gritting my teeth together. The woman comes over to me and I stare at her in fear. Her eyes were red and she wasn't a woman. She seemed to be a teenager. "Who-" I grunt trying to speak but she just shushes me. It seems like she's about to kill me but a man shows up behind her. "Hold." He says.
"She's a strong one." His eyes were wide as he stares at me. I sit myself up, leaning on the wall, still breathing heavily from the pain. "Who are you!?" I scream out, still holding my neck. The pain growing throughout my body.
"Shh." He puts a finger to his lips. I glare at him, confused on why they are shushing me. I'm confused on why a bite from a man is hurting so badly. Burning my insides.
"What is happening to me?" I beg to know.
I don't get an answer though. I don't get an answer, I never do. Three days of agonizing pain. They left me in an empty village that was killed off.
I sat against a wall the entire time. The only sight I see is the body of the child I never saved along with Esther who still held that child. Even while dying. And the man that attack me with no head beside me.
The sky changing was the only thing that kept me going. Begging that this would pain end eventually.
And when it did I stood up. A strong smell filling my nose. The smell of blood but stronger than usual. I felt feral.
I walk towards the smell, it was coming from the children's tent, the one Esther and I were in three days ago. The night it happened.
I enter inside, seeing the bodies of the dead children. I cover my mouth and nose, smelling their blood. Making me weirdly hungry. I felt disgusted with myself. I felt like I was stopping myself from doing something I know I shouldn't do.
I hear a small voice and I groan out, the feeling getting stronger. My eyes shoot around the tent needing to know where it's coming from. I see movement beside a crib and I go over to it in a fast motion I didn't even know I could make. I see a woman lying there. I worked with her. She's one of the nurses. She seems to be waking up. Her eyes open and look at me as I stand over her. "[Name]?" She mumbles and I just stare at her not knowing what to do but I know that my urges are to suck on the blood from inside her body.
"[Name] are you okay?" She asks me, starting to sit up, my nostrils flair. I start to breathe out of my nose heavily. "You're acting weird." She holds her head and I try to back up but it feels like my body is stuck in place. I see blood from the side of her forehead.
She goes to speak to me again but in a quick motion I'm biting on her neck and draining the blood from her body. She tries to scream but she can't. I feel someone behind me but I don't care enough in this moment as I feel like I've been starving.
Hands wrap around my body and pull me away from the woman that I can't remember the name of. "You've drained her completely, hun." A gentle voice tells me and I glance up to see a blond man with golden eyes staring back at me. "Who are you?" I push him away from me, he grunts but doesn't seem to be surprised by my response.
"My name is Carlisle. I just want to help you." He tells me but I hold myself, backing away from him. "Help me with what?"
"Don't you want to know what you are? Why you just fed off of a human?" He questions me and I glance from him over to the woman's body on the ground.
"You're a vampire. You're not human anymore." He informs me. I snort out a laugh. "Those are myths." I shake my head.
They were myths, but I guess they actually exist. Carlisle told me everything I needed to know. He taught me how to control my hungry and only go after animals. Controlling my thirst around humans.
We learned I have an ability. He told me how some have them. I turned out to be one of them. I can make people forget what they're thinking about in that current moment. Make them forget things that happened ten minutes ago and replace their thoughts and memories with something different. We found it out when we were caught eating off an animal by a hunter. We didn't want to kill him and I somehow focused on him and I was begging him to forget everything. Somehow it worked.
Now we've been practicing on random people.
Carlisle has truly been the biggest help in this whole weird thing.
I told him I wasn't staying with him though. I needed to find what happened to Jasper. I told him about Jasper, about how he was the love of my life. I never told him his name though. I wanted to keep my human life private. It was nothing against the man that saved me but I just wanted to keep certain things to myself. And Jasper was mine. He wasn't for everyone to know about.
And after both Carlisle and I knew we were okay on our own we went separate ways but I told him if he ever needed me I'll be in this area. I gave him my name so he can always look me up. I'd be there to help him with whatever it was.
I spent decades, over a century trying to find anything about Jasper but it was like he disappeared off the face of the earth. No one saw him. I couldn't find anything about him. Nothing about his death. I searched everywhere. Even going into oceans to see if his body was dropped in them. Lakes, the desserts around to see if he was in small areas no one could find him.
Nothing. No trace.
It was the 2000's and still nothing. I had given up at one point. Once it hit 1982. It had been over 110 years since my love went missing. A part of me hoped he became what I have. The selfish part of me. The other hopes he's in heaven, getting everything good that he deserves.
I still traveled, hanging out with random covens for a couple years before moving onto the next thing. That's how it's been for years.
Until I got a call from Carlisle Cullen. The man who saved me from damnation. "Have you heard what's happening in Seattle?" Was the first words out of his mouth. "Yeah, I thought the Volturi would've taken care of it by now." I answer him, crossing my arms as I stood outside of an alley in Chicago Illinois.
"We thought so too. But it looks like they're coming to Forks. We have a human they're after." He tells me and I furrow my eyebrows confused on why they would be protecting some random human. "I'll explain when you get here. We need your help." He says and I stiffen, licking my teeth.
"I'll be there in a couple hours." I tell him before hanging up the phone. He didn't need to explain anything. I'd help him with whatever he asks me to do. Even if it was against my morals. It's Carlisle.
And then I was on my way to Forks, Washington.
I pull up to a beautiful house, lots of glass, doesn't really hide anything. It fits Carlisle though. And his wife Esme. I met her once when I bumped into Carlisle. She had just turned. She was a lovely lady. Only got a few days to know her though.
She matched him perfectly.
I park my car and get out, Carlisle, two men, Esme and the human girl were standing on the porch. I raise my eyebrows. "A welcome party, oh you shouldn't have, Carlisle and Esme." I comment cheekily, walking towards them.
"Anything for you [Name]." Esme smiles to me and I grin back to her. "This the human girl we're fighting newborn vampires for?" I cross my arms, observing the brunette in front for me. She was nervous but she was observing me back. One of the boys pushes her behind him.
"Who are you?" I ask with a smirk. "This is Edward. That's Bella, his girlfriend." Carlisle explains to me. "And this is Emmett." Esme points over to the other boy. "Got yourself a little family now, cute." I hum quietly.
"There's others as well. Let's go introduce you." Carlisle says and they lead me into the house. There were three other people standing in the living room. A man and two women. We get closer and the three turn to me. My eyes widen when I see the mans face. He looked exactly like Jasper...
I walk closer to him. Eyebrows scrunched together. It looked like he recognized me as well. "Jasper Whitlock?" I say the name that almost seemed foreign at this point. "Darlin?" He smiles back and my face falls before pulling him into my arms rather harshly.
"Jasper Whitlock!" I squeal as he lifts me up, I grab his face kissing him aggressively, my legs wrapping around his waist.
"I thought I'd lost you!" I cry out, no tears coming out of course. All he does is hum in response, kissing me once again. "You have been with Carlisle Cullen for how long!?" I jump down asking him. "Since 1953." He tells me and I close my eyes putting my head down.
"I've been searching oceans for you for over a century and a half." I tell him. "And you've been with one of my closest allies for 50 of those years." I whisper. "I could've been with you for 50 years." I lay my head on Jasper's chest.
I then turn to everyone who was just watching the scene confused. Except for Carlisle.
He was the only one either of us told each other about and he didn't even know it was about one another. I didn't let go of Jasper the entire time they told me about what was happening.
Having to reconcile with my lover after the explanation. I got introduced to Rosalie and Alice. Alice was a nice girl, she was super excited for Jasper and I. She kept going on and on about how amazing it was until Carlisle pulled her away so we could catch up on everything.
And when it was just the two of us, I look at him. My eyes piercing into his. "I never thought I'd see you again." He tells me earnestly. "Where did you go?" I ask, my voice breaking slightly. "I stopped getting letters, no one could find you." I tell him and he frowns.
He explains how a vampire named Maria turned him, forcing him to be her right hand man. He told me about his abilities which led me to tell him about mine. About how and when I turned. I told him about Esther and Ryans horrible fate.
How for the past century I literally searched bodies of water for him along with the desert he disappeared at. He told me how he heard about the base attack and heard I was there. He thought I was dead this whole time.
"I am never leaving your side ever again." I tell him with a serious expression.
"I would never want you to." He pulls me onto his lap, kissing me on my lips.
"I love you, I'm such a fool for not calling out your name to Carlisle." I lay my forehead on his.
He kisses me once more. “I am a fool as well, darlin.”
givens
Pairing: Simon “Ghost” Riley (Call of Duty) x Reader
Warnings: none
Summary: There are few givens in life, one is that Ghost will always wake up before you, and that he will always fall in love with you.
A/N: buhruh this was supposed to be an imagine about gingerbread cookies so how did we get to a gingerbreadless drabble so fluffy it will rot your teeth (i wrote this in like 30 mins not beta read we die like men).
There were things in life that always happened, no matter what. They were givens; undeniable truths that simply couldn’t be disputed. According to Benjamin Franklin, they meant death and taxes. According to Ghost, they meant that he would always wake up before you, and that he would always fall in love with you.
Honestly, Ghost wasn’t sure how his body always managed to wake him up before you. You were so delightful to sleep with, to wrap his arms around, to hold and caress and savor. You relaxed every tense muscle in his body, calmed every nerve. You were the only person he felt truly safe around; the only person he would let himself actually fall asleep next to.
He slept on missions, of course, but he never woke up truly rested, and he never really fell completely asleep either. He always had an ear listening for anything strange, one hand gripped around the handle of a knife. But with you, he could truly and completely shut down. He didn’t have to stay on constant alert, worried that someone would betray him. With you, he could let his walls down, he could be vulnerable, he could finally feel. He always slept so well whenever he was with you. He woke up, usually filled with a painful but satisfying soreness throughout his body, and he felt unbelievably well-rested.
There was something about you that just flipped a certain switch in his brain. You turned off his need to be constantly alert, he could sleep deeply, he could sleep for hours. But even then, every morning when he woke up, he would look over and you would still be sleeping. It happened every single time he slept with you. He could wake up at midnight, at five in the morning, at one in the afternoon, and you would still be there by his side, sleeping contentedly.
He didn’t mind it though, because those quiet moments before you woke up were some of his favorites of the entire day. That twilight world where he could roll over and smile at the way you were tangled in the sheets or pull himself closer to you and wrap his arms and legs around you. When he could just breathe in the scent of your laundry detergent and shampoo and delight in the steady rhythm of your heartbeat.
He didn’t even know how it was possible for you to fill him with so much emotion, and yet, every morning when he turned to stare at your sleeping form, he could feel his chest swell with pride and adoration that you were here, with him of all people. You, who could have chosen anybody else, who could have laughed in his face when he asked if you wanted to get drinks alone, you chose him. You chose to sleep with him, and wake up with him, and stay with him.
It felt like some cheesy time-loop movie, the way Ghost kept falling in love with you. Every morning he saw you by his side he could feel his heart tumbling further and further, leaving him breathless and love-struck. It happened every morning, like clockwork. Even if you guys had had a fight the night before, even if you hadn’t talked to him in days, especially when you hadn’t talked to him in days.
That was why it was so difficult for him to get mad at you, even when you did reckless things. When you lived life like the world was going to protect you, when you assumed that the next day was always promised, when you told him how great it would be to grow old and die together. On one hand, it was so clear to him how wrong you were. The world never protected people, the next day was never promised, and the chances of him being able to grow old with you decreased every time he picked up a gun.
But on the other hand, how could he ruin that for you? How could he take your rose-colored world and shatter it with a few simple words? And so for a while, he would torment himself, battling over whether he should tell you or not. But then you would go to sleep, and the next day he would roll over and see how beautiful you looked sleeping next to him, and he would forget about everything. And how could he not? When he saw you, it’s as if every function in his brain except for pure love and gratitude was shut off. He couldn’t think rationally when he was with you, and honestly? He didn’t want to.
He loved you more than anything in the world. He would do anything for you, kill anyone for you. He would let you live in your rose-colored world where you grew old and died together, because he knew the truth was so much worse. And besides, what would even happen if he did tell you the truth? Would you leave him? Would you find someone else who wouldn’t die on the field?
In a way, you were right, he supposed. Even if he was killed in action, Ghost knew he could never leave you. Even in death he would still be by your side, watching and admiring, unbeknownst to you. But that wasn’t enough, he needed to be able to feel you, to touch you, to smell you. He needed to feel how warm you were and know that it was because you were alive, because there was blood flowing through your veins. And he needed you to know that he was alive, and by your side, because he couldn’t imagine how drab life would be if he could never wake up and see you sleeping next to him.
And so, for the sake of his own twilight world — his world where he was safe and secure, and all rational thought was discarded as he fell in love with you over and over again — he let you stay in your rose-colored one, because if there were any givens in life, it was that he would always wake up before you, and he would always fall in love with you.
Edward Cullen :
The soft beep of monitors and the sterile scent of the hospital room formed an unfamiliar backdrop for Edward Cullen as he stood by the bed, his golden eyes focused intently on your still form. Six months had passed since the devastating car crash that had left you in a coma, and his heart had been stuck in a perpetual state of apprehension and longing.
"Edward, I think she's starting to wake up," Alice's voice broke the heavy silence. She stood on the other side of the bed, her eyes fixed on you.
His breath hitched as he watched your eyelids flutter, a sign that your consciousness was beginning to reemerge from the depths of sleep. He reached out and gently took your hand in his, his cool touch a stark contrast to the warmth he hoped you would soon regain.
"(Y/N),” he whispered, his voice a mixture of anticipation and relief. "Can you hear me?"
The seconds seemed to stretch into eternity before your eyelashes quivered again, and this time, your eyes opened slightly, revealing tired but conscious orbs that locked onto his. The corners of his lips twitched with the hint of a smile, his eyes shining with emotion as he met your gaze.
"Edward?" your voice was weak, barely more than a whisper, but to him, it was the most beautiful sound in the world.
"I'm here, love," he murmured, his thumb brushing over the back of your hand in a tender caress. "You're safe now."
A myriad of emotions played across your face as your memory began to piece together the events leading up to this moment. The accident, the darkness, and now, the sensation of his touch grounding you in the present.
"Edward," you repeated, your voice stronger this time. "What… what happened?"
"You were in a car crash," he explained softly, his eyes never leaving yours. "You've been in a coma for six months."
Six months. It was a disorienting concept, and you struggled to process the passage of time that had occurred while you were trapped in that void between consciousness and oblivion.
"I've missed you," you admitted, your voice trembling with emotion.
"I've missed you too, more than you can imagine," he confessed, his gaze intense and full of unspoken words.
The room seemed to fade away as you locked eyes with him, your heart echoing the unbreakable bond that connected you. The weight of the past six months and the uncertainty of the future melted away in the presence of his unwavering love.
"I love you," you whispered, the words carrying the weight of all the emotions you had held onto during your coma.
His smile was radiant, a beacon of hope and happiness that illuminated the room. "I love you too, (Y/N). Always."
As he leaned in, his lips met yours in a gentle kiss, a connection that bridged the gap between the time you had lost and the life that awaited you both. With every heartbeat, you knew that your journey was far from over, but together, you were ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead, hand in hand.
And so, in the soft glow of the hospital room, two souls found their way back to each other, their love stronger than ever before, and their hearts beating as one.
Benjamin :
The forest echoed with the haunting calls of distant creatures as the twilight sky painted the landscape with hues of orange and purple. Benjamin, with his bronze skin glistening faintly in the fading light, stood amidst the trees, his thoughts consumed by the events of the past months.
Six months ago, a confrontation with a group of Normans—vampires who had renounced the traditional ways of their kind—had left you gravely injured. Benjamin had fought valiantly to protect you, his mate, but even his elemental abilities had struggled against the overwhelming force of the Normans.
His golden eyes never left the path that led back to the Cullens' residence. It was a path he had walked countless times, carrying the weight of hope and fear in equal measure. The Cullen family had rallied around you, never giving up on the belief that you would awaken from the coma that had ensnared you.
Suddenly, the air around him seemed to shift, and he turned to see Carlisle approaching through the undergrowth. The patriarch of the Cullen family wore an expression that was a mixture of caution and optimism.
"Benjamin," Carlisle's voice was gentle, a soothing balm to the turmoil that churned within him. "There have been changes."
His heart raced at the implications of Carlisle's words. Changes could mean any number of things—a decline in your condition, a new development, or perhaps…
"Tell me," he requested, his voice betraying his urgency.
Carlisle's eyes held a mix of sympathy and reassurance. "She's waking up."
Time seemed to stop as Benjamin processed those words. A surge of emotion swelled within him, a blend of elation and trepidation. His heart pounded with a rhythm that matched the thunderous pace of his thoughts. After six long, agonizing months, he could scarcely believe that the moment he had prayed for was finally here.
He followed Carlisle back to the Cullens' home, his anticipation growing with every step. The atmosphere in the house was a curious mixture of tension and excitement, the other family members gathered in the living room, their expressions a reflection of the emotions that swirled within the room.
As he entered the room, his gaze was drawn to you—still and serene on the bed. A tangle of emotions threatened to overwhelm him as he approached, his heart aching with a longing he had scarcely allowed himself to acknowledge.
The steady beeping of monitors filled the room, a reassuring cadence that underscored the delicate balance between life and the void. He took your hand in his, his touch gentle yet firm, as if trying to bridge the gap between your unconsciousness and his unwavering presence.
"(Y/N)”, he whispered, his voice laden with emotion. "It's me, Benjamin."
And then, as if in response to his words, your eyelids fluttered. The tension in the room heightened as those present held their collective breaths. Your eyes slowly opened, and for a fleeting moment, you seemed disoriented, as if trying to make sense of your surroundings.
"Benjamin?" your voice was a fragile whisper, your gaze finding his amidst the sea of faces.
Tears pricked at the corners of his eyes as he nodded, his grip on your hand tightening with both gratitude and relief. "I'm here, (Y/N).”
A gentle smile curved your lips, a spark of recognition igniting within your eyes. "I remember."
The room seemed to exhale as a wave of emotion swept through those gathered. The past six months had tested their faith, but in this moment, hope and love prevailed.
As your eyes met Benjamin's, the unspoken connection between you radiated with a warmth that defied the cold uncertainty of the supernatural world. The darkness that had threatened to claim you both was slowly giving way to the light of your resurgence—a testament to the power of love, determination, and the bonds that transcended even the most dire circumstances.
Edward Cullen and Benjamin :
The tranquil town of Forks held its breath as a soft rain fell, casting a gentle rhythm on the world below. Amidst the towering trees and the emerald undergrowth, the Cullen residence stood as a haven for the supernatural family that called it home. Inside, a hushed tension filled the air as two powerful vampires—one with bronze hair and the other with golden eyes—stood in a room that had been a sanctuary of hope for the past six months.
Benjamin, his gaze fixed on the still form before him, couldn't help but let his thoughts drift back to that fateful day when the accident had occurred. A shooting incident during a hunting trip, a stray bullet finding its mark, and the life he had built with his two soulmates had been shattered in an instant.
Edward, his presence a calming force beside Benjamin, shared the burden of worry that had weighed them down for half a year. He understood the depth of the bond they shared with you, a connection that defied explanation, and the agony of waiting for the moment when you would awaken.
The sound of approaching footsteps brought their attention to Carlisle, whose presence was a beacon of knowledge and compassion in the face of uncertainty.
"Edward, Benjamin," Carlisle's voice was steady, though it carried the weight of the news he bore. "There have been changes."
Benjamin's heart raced as Carlisle's words hung in the air, the implications clear. Edward's gaze locked onto Carlisle's, a mixture of hope and apprehension reflected in his eyes.
"Tell us," Edward requested, his voice even.
Carlisle's eyes held a depth of understanding that only came from centuries of experience. "She's beginning to wake up."
A surge of emotions swept through both vampires—emotion they had learned to conceal behind their immortal facades. For six months, their lives had been in a state of limbo, the bond they shared with you a constant reminder of the life they were fighting to preserve.
They followed Carlisle back into the house, the tension in the air palpable. The other members of the Cullen family had gathered in the living room, their expressions a mirror of the emotions that echoed within the room.
As they entered the room, all eyes turned to the bed where you lay, still and vulnerable. The steady beeping of the monitors was a reassuring backdrop to the myriad of thoughts and feelings that swirled through the room.
Benjamin approached the bed, his steps careful as he took your hand in his. Edward stood beside him, his gaze never wavering from your face. The bond they shared, rare and powerful, connected them to you on a level that transcended even their own understanding.
"(Y/N),” Benjamin whispered, his voice a mix of emotions that ranged from longing to relief. "It's us. Benjamin and Edward."
The room held its collective breath as your eyelids fluttered. For a moment, there was hesitation in your gaze, a fleeting sense of disorientation as you emerged from the abyss of unconsciousness.
"Benjamin… Edward," your voice was a fragile whisper, your eyes searching their faces for confirmation.
Tears glistened in Benjamin's eyes as he nodded, his grip on your hand tightening with a blend of gratitude and hope. "Yes, love. We're here."
Edward's expression softened, a warmth igniting within his eyes as he met your gaze. "We've been waiting for you."
A soft smile graced your lips, a spark of recognition lighting up your eyes. "I remember."
In that moment, as the rain continued to fall outside and the room seemed to hold its breath, the unbreakable bond between the three of you resonated with a quiet strength. The trials of the past six months had tested your connection, but here you were—awakened, aware, and surrounded by the unwavering love of the two vampires who had been by your side through it all.
The journey ahead was uncertain, but with Benjamin and Edward at your side, the echoes of awakened hearts promised a future filled with unyielding support, fierce determination, and a love that transcended time and circumstance.
Aro and Marcus with ADHD reader
Aro Volturi:
•It wasn’t long before Aro could tell there was just something about you that was different among others that he encounters
• He doesn’t judge you for it at all. Instead, he will wait patiently until you’re ready to explain to him what the diagnosis is
• One day, however, you were having, or at least trying to have a private conversation with Jane about it when at the same time, it was time for you to take the medicine that was required for you to take
• Right as you take it is when Aro walks in and sees you slipping something in between your lips. The tablet was hidden between your closed fingers that it was easy for anyone to miss without looking closely or having any knowledge of the medicine you take
• After you take it, Aro immediately begins asking questions and that had become a signal for Jane to leave the room and leave it up to you to tell him
• You told him, and as you did so, your heart rate picked up and for a moment there, Aro thought his questions were upsetting you, so you had to reassure that it wasn’t him at all that it was only part of the affect from the medicine and it doesn’t last long at all
• When you concluded the explanation, it was silent a few minutes before he spoke up again, clearly very concerned of your health
• He had a right to worry, Aro was your mate after all and the kings had become your family once you both learned you were mates
• They all took good care of you and looked after you, but Aro kept a sharp eye on you and made sure you stayed healthy part of it by making absolute certain you didn’t miss a day taking your medicine
• A couple of times Caius or Marcus would find that you had mistakenly left the prescription bottle on the throne room while being there witnessing each trial taking place. They would turn in to Aro to make sure you had gotten it back honestly
• They would hate for someone who is completely dishonest and distrustful to have handled it before anyone else more loyal and trusting
• You took it seriously while you would softly make a joke about it which of course, the kings didn’t find humor in
• Alec was the only one who can see through it that you were really only kidding and would laugh along with you while everyone glares, thinking that he’s egging you on
• One of the things that only Aro is to know about is of the anxiety it brings you every now and than, not very often
• One day, your cover was basically blown when a vampire on trial looked at you in a way that neither of them, Aro specifically, liked at all. Even with a final warning, the vampire was dumb enough to keep going and that caused his own execution
• Watching the execution had given you the worst anxiety attack in your lifetime, as you were going through it, Aro was the first to try and comfort you before the other kings joined at his side
• At this point, you were more than ready to become a vampire yourself so you no longer could feel this panicked over anything and everything
• Aro agreed and agreed to change you
• You we’re changed a few days later
Marcus:
• You were the only human part of the Cullen family, and when you met Marcus for the first time, it was when he caught your eye as Aro was meeting Renesme
• Not only did you meet, but you both knew you were each other’s mate and agreed to go back with them when it was proven your family was innocent after being accused by Irina
• If the battle were to happen, Marcus would protect you at all cost, you were both just thankful it was not necessary
• As you were still human, you were a little hesitant to fill Marcus in on you having ADHD due to last bad experiences, mostly having harsh judgments from people you thought were your friends
• Marcus was different, and you were pleasantly surprised when he stayed by your side. He was one of the few that have, the other few were your family and the other witnesses they had called for help
• You had taken medicine for it in the past, but it was no longer needed as it wasn’t as sever as before. However, Marcus was concerned of your health and couldn’t help but to think maybe you still should be taking the medication
• You sort of laughed when he tells you this and he asks what was so funny about it, you inform him that the doctors had taken you off the medication when you were twelve years
• Knowing that helped Marcus to feel better about it, but he still watched over you as if he was afraid you might get lost in a crowd you both could be walking through
• When the worry really got to Marcus, it was when you were in the throne room while the trials was taking place, you sat on the floor a few feet away from his throne with a book in hands and headphones in, trying to focus on something more optimistic
• Out of the corner of his eye, he noticed you were leaning back against the wall, you’re book just inches away from your face as you were fidgeting
• Something was up and just as Marcus was about to go find out, it was time for yet another execution and thankfully, you didn’t see this one happen. Marcus nearly missed it as well due to his concern for you, and of course, the other kings notice just before asking Marcus questions
• Looking back and forth, he proceeds to tell Aro and Caius about your ADHD while mentioning the fact you seemed to be fidgeting and how your body couldn’t seem to sit still as usual
• They suggested that he takes you out for a short walk and that’s exactly what happened, you were thrilled for fresh air
• When you come back, the only ones in the throne room was Aro and Caius as they watch you come back in with Marcus as if nothing happened
• Which begged them the question
• “Are you okay, (Y/n)?” Aro asks and you nod in response
• You made it to seem as if nothing had happened a few moments before Marcus pulled you away
• Marcus was really good at taking care of you and you loved him for it
