Yes. Usually small critters like a true Disney princess. This is because Ben struggled to make friends as a kid. He did have a friendship with Poe Dameron during childhood, but Ben pushed Poe away because Snoke convinced him that Poe didn't really like him, and that Poe only befriended him for his namesake, which, of course, was utter bull.

So instead Ben spent a lot of time around small animals on Chandrila. They didn't require the same sort of effort that human relationships required, and he could vent to them without judgement or talk back. As an adult he remembers the comfort their presence brought him when he felt lonely. But although he has a soft spot for small animals, they also remind him of being a sad kid. So it's a double edged sword in that respect. I do think he'd have a pet at some point in his life, though.
