So I watched the music video for the Lemon Demon song, Word Disassociation and at 58 seconds through on the word “Luminary” there are two generation three My Little Ponies. Now if I should know anything about me it’s that I’m a MASSIVE pony nerd so naturally I decided to try my hand at identifying them.
Here is the image.
The left pony's pose is instantly recognizable as the "diva" pose and is most likely a Pink Pie.
The pony on the right is much more difficult to identify, the compression on the video makes the cutie mark unrecognizable but not entirely useless. G3 ponies, unlike g1, only have their cutie mark on side (that side may be referred to as their display side) seeing the placement of the mark rules out a lot of poses and ponies.
The head is also turned to the side, the mouth looks to be open, and the right (pony's right) leg is not bent. This brought me down to the Shell-Belle, Sunny Daze, and Kimono poses.
Here the pony's eye color comes in handy. While I cannot identify the exact color I can tell it must be more muted. Most of my suspected ponies had bright green eyes so it easily eliminated them. My final guess is Tangerine Sunset which is an oddly fitting name for this song. I'm sure if you were struggling to name a pony OC you could use one of these lyrics lol.
Having had owned multiple Pinkies in the past I can tell you they are much paler than this picture makes her seem. I’ve never had a Tangerine Sunset so I have nothing to say about her.
How do you think I did? Is there a different pony you think they could be?
#btw I basically reformatted my YouTube comment so if you see it that’s fun I guess!#Being a pony nerd and Lemon Demon fan I think I could be kinda fun to get a pony just like the one in the video lol#my little pony#mlp g3#lemon demon
