Kitty Chuuya + Babysitter Atsushi

⛦ I’ve said before that Byakko gives caregiver Atsushi lots of mama tiger vibes, when he’s taking care of a kitty regressor like Chuuya? Full mama tiger mode activated! Atsushi will constantly be hovering over him. He tries not to step in! He really does. He wants Chuuya to have freedom and have fun but everything looks so dangerous! The second Atsushi determines that Chuuya needs to be taken away from whatever he’s doing he’ll just pick the Mafioso right up and carry him away, then plop him down on a sofa or a bed. A much safer place!

☆ The term babysitter implies that Atsushi isn’t Chuuya’s main caretaker, that Chuuya has a main caretaker and Atsushi just watches him sometimes. Atsushi respects this position of course! He keeps his distance, not being overbearing. But he definitely checks in on Chuuya constantly! He’ll contact Chuuya directly most of the time but he’ll also stay in contact with whoever Chuuya’s main caretaker is to easily check in and make sure everything is alright!

⛦ Atsushi definitely uses his ability! That way Chuuya can curl up against the tigers warm fur and feel juuust like a tiny kitty cat curling into his mama! Plus of course there’s so much purring! Atsushi in the form of a big happy tiger will obviously be purring. Then kitty cat regressor Chuuya tries his best to mimic the sound! He’ll nuzzle into the tigers soft fur and hum really loudly, changing his tone to match the warm purrs coming from his babysitter

☆ Atsushi is the master of making milk! He can do angel milk perfectly of course, the classic. But he can also make like cinnamon milk and stuff like that! I don’t think either of them like the idea of strawberry or chocolate milk much. A kitty cat couldn’t have that stuff so it can sort of ruin the experience. Atsushi can be pushy about water though! Even if Chuuya insists on having milk to help him feel like a kitty cat, Atsushi will at least water it down and put in less flavoring stuff

⛦ In some ways these two are polar opposites. Chuuya is very much so agile, quick on his feet, while Atsushi is more of a bulldozer. If he’s in a fight or something he just fights, not really cool tricks like Chuuya does. I think they’d love playing chase because of this! Chuuya can make quick pivots and movements but Atsushi is really fast! So Chuuya darts around the apartment while Atsushi chases him down at top speed, then has to go back because he missed a turn. Again and again

☆ Chuuya definitely has the tendency to use his ability and go pout on the ceiling. Atsushi’s ability isn’t very helpful in this situation so all he can do is sit nearby and keep an eye on the kitty. Atsushi will sit on the couch right in front of the TV. Maybe if he really really wants Chuuya to get down he’ll even put on some bird videos on the TV. The sound is enough to draw Chuuya’s attention but when he gets in view he’s practically transfixed, slowly floating down to sit with Atsushi

⛦ Speaking of watching birds, window watching! Chuuya of course loves watching animals in the window. Birds, squirrels, he’ll track their movements like a real professional hunter! Atsushi however just likes watching the world. He’s very appreciative of wherever he is in life. He likes to just watch people go about their lives, walking along, driving in their cars, watching buses go by. Atsushi is just generally a calm cozy atmosphere! Then you look over and see Chuuya barely managing to sit still, his head constantly turning to follow creatures outside

☆ Chuuya has plenty of money as a mafia executive, so his house is always fully stocked! Plenty of sea food for the kitty cat to eat. Atsushi cuts it up into easy to eat portions and serves it in a tiny bowl! Utensils are to difficult to use. Sometimes Atsushi will just hold the food in the palm of his hand and offer it out to Chuuya! Chuuya happily sits in his babysitters lap and eats the food right out of his hand like a good kitty cat

⛦ Chuuya loves sitting on top of things! On his counter, on the back of the couch, he’ll even climb up on Atsushi’s shoulders! Or onto his back if Atsushi is using his ability hehe. For one cats love being up high (Glances at my cat who is on top of my bunk bed) but also Chuuya must object to being called short! To prove that he isn’t short he’ll get up high! Duh. It’s all natural height thank you very much for asking. Atsushi gives him the win, praising Chuuya for being such a tall kitty. Chuuya would appreciate the praise, if Atsushi would stop laughing long enough to say it

☆ Also pet names! I almost forgot! How do I almost forget my favorite part (╥ _ ╥) Anywayyy. I think Atsushi would definitely call Chuuya “Cub” and “Kitten” these pet names are like the essentials! Cub comes from mama tiger instincts, Kitten of course because Chuuya’s just a cute little kitty! I think Atsushi would also use shortened versions of Chuuya’s name like “Chuu” He doesn’t want to use too intimate of a nickname since he is just the babysitter here!
