re: your post on familiars from, like, almost two years ago (lol)
do you have any resources for reaching out to familiars and/or discovering familiars, specifically though dream work? I have a feeling I've dreamt about familiars in the past (before becoming a witch) and I'm wanting to do some dreamwork to see if I can see them again or contact them in someway.
- @thevirginwitch (forever cursing tumblr for not letting me send asks from specific sideblogs, lol, therefore forcing me to ask anonymously 😔)
Hey friend! Sorry, I wanted to do this question justice so I waited til I was able to do more research!
(First, I assume you're talking about this post.)
Here's what I found:
Familiars vs Magickal Pets - Blog post by "Dead" on the Pagans And Witches Amino. -> There is a familiar calling ritual at the end of the post.
The Crooked Path by Kelvin has a section on Familiar spirits -> see Exercise 27: Meeting a Familiar Spirit
Cunningfolk and Familiar Spirits by Emma Wilby -> So far I haven't found a ritual or spell to conjure a familiar, but she goes into great detail about their history and has some really interesting tidbits!
Familiars in Witchcraft Supernatural Spirits and Guardians by Maja D'Aoust -> I have just started this one but it seems very interesting.
In my opinion, a familiar isn't a particular type of spirit, it is a title or role given to a spirit based on an understanding or contract between the spirit and the witch.
So, I would consider doing a guided meditation focused on meeting a spirit. Even if it doesn't say exactly "familiar" or "familiar spirit", just make sure you go into the meditation with the intention of meeting the spirit that you feel is contacting you. If you can do this meditation on your own, great! I struggle and need a guided meditation otherwise I get distracted and can't drop into the right space for it.
Also consider creating a sigil or doing a spell that allows well-meaning spirits to enter your dreams! They may not be able to get through any wards or protections your have, depending on what you've put around you.

What is Shamanic Healing?
Tumblr media
Shamanic healing is an ancient spiritual practice that has been utilized by various cultures around the world for thousands of years. Rooted in the belief that everything in the universe is interconnected, shamanic healing focuses on balancing the mind, body, and spirit. It is not confined to a particular religion or cultural group; instead, it draws on universal principles and practices that transcend geographical and cultural boundaries. This blog post will delve into what shamanic healing is, its origins, techniques, and the benefits it can offer to those who seek it.
Origins and History of Shamanic Healing
The practice of shamanism is believed to date back to prehistoric times, with evidence suggesting it was practiced by hunter-gatherer societies as early as 40,000 years ago. The word "shaman" itself originates from the Tungus tribe in Siberia and translates to "one who knows" or "healer." However, the role of shamans and shamanic practices can be found in indigenous cultures across Asia, Africa, the Americas, and Europe.
Shamans are considered mediators between the physical and spiritual worlds. They are believed to have the ability to enter altered states of consciousness, which allows them to communicate with spirits, ancestors, and other supernatural entities. This ability is traditionally used to diagnose and treat illness, guide the community, and provide insight into life's challenges.
Core Principles of Shamanic Healing
At the heart of shamanic healing is the belief that all illnesses--whether physical, emotional, or spiritual--are a result of imbalance or disharmony within an individual's life. Shamans view health as a state of balance among the body's energies, the environment, and the spiritual realm. The following principles are fundamental to shamanic healing:
Interconnectedness: Shamans believe that everything in the universe is connected. This includes humans, animals, plants, the earth, and spiritual beings. Disruptions in these connections can lead to health problems, which shamanic healing aims to address.
The Spirit World: Shamans believe in a world beyond the physical, inhabited by spirits that can influence the material world. These spirits can be allies, guides, or even sources of illness. By interacting with these spiritual beings, shamans seek to restore balance.
Soul Retrieval: A common belief in shamanic healing is that part of a person's soul may become fragmented or lost due to trauma or significant emotional events. This soul loss is thought to result in illness or feelings of disconnection. Soul retrieval is a healing practice used to restore these lost fragments.
Energy Healing: Shamans work with the energy fields of individuals, often referred to as the aura or life force, to remove negative energies or blockages that are causing disharmony.
Techniques Used in Shamanic Healing
Shamanic healing encompasses a variety of techniques, each tailored to the needs of the individual seeking help. Some of the most common methods include:
Journeying: Shamanic journeying is a meditative practice that involves entering an altered state of consciousness to connect with the spiritual realm. Shamans use rhythmic drumming, chanting, or other repetitive sounds to achieve this state. During the journey, they seek guidance, healing, and insight from spirit guides or power animals.
Extraction Healing: This technique involves the removal of negative energies or spiritual intrusions that are causing harm. The shaman identifies and extracts these energies, which are often described as dense or dark entities, using their hands, breath, or specialized tools.
Soul Retrieval: As mentioned earlier, soul retrieval is a core practice in shamanic healing. The shaman travels to the spiritual realm to recover lost fragments of a person's soul and reintegrate them into the individual's body, helping them feel more whole and connected.
Power Animal Retrieval: In shamanic belief, each person has spirit animals that provide protection and guidance. If a person feels lost, weak, or unbalanced, it might indicate that they have lost connection with their power animal. A shaman can help retrieve and reconnect an individual with their power animal.
Divination: This practice involves seeking insight and guidance from the spirit world about specific questions or challenges. The shaman acts as a conduit for the messages from the spiritual realm, offering clarity and direction to the individual.
Plant Medicine: In some shamanic traditions, plant medicines such as ayahuasca, peyote, or other entheogens are used to facilitate healing and spiritual experiences. These plants are considered sacred and are used under the guidance of experienced shamans to explore deeper levels of consciousness.
The Benefits of Shamanic Healing
Shamanic healing offers numerous benefits that extend beyond physical health. It provides a holistic approach to well-being by addressing the emotional, mental, and spiritual aspects of an individual. Some of the reported benefits include:
Emotional Healing: By addressing past traumas and releasing emotional blockages, shamanic healing can bring a sense of peace and emotional stability. It helps individuals confront and release repressed emotions, leading to healing and transformation.
Spiritual Growth: Shamanic practices can enhance one's connection to the spiritual world, offering a greater understanding of life's purpose and a deeper sense of meaning and fulfillment.
Enhanced Self-Awareness: Through practices like journeying and soul retrieval, individuals gain insights into their inner selves, discovering hidden aspects of their personality and unlocking their true potential.
Stress Reduction and Mental Clarity: The meditative and grounding techniques used in shamanic healing can reduce stress, anxiety, and mental clutter, leading to improved focus and clarity.
Improved Physical Health: By restoring balance to the body's energy fields and addressing spiritual imbalances, shamanic healing can alleviate physical ailments and promote overall wellness.
Conclusion
Shamanic healing is a profound spiritual practice that offers a pathway to holistic well-being. Its ancient techniques and wisdom provide valuable insights into the interconnected nature of life, encouraging harmony between mind, body, and spirit. While it may not replace conventional medical treatments, shamanic healing can complement them, providing a unique and powerful approach to healing and personal growth. As more people seek alternative methods to improve their health and spiritual well-being, shamanic healing continues to offer a timeless and transformative experience.

6 + 9 + 5 for megatron, 1 + 10 for Optimus, and/or 13 + 4 for both:333
hc game
HI FRIEND!!!!!! Once more you have come to bless us with asks I see <333 Sooooo sorry for how late this is, things got busy and stayed busy
Megatron:
6) Something they lost, but would love to have back
My god. I've seen some HEAVY answers to this one and I love toying around with those, but as for what I actually believe in:
Terminus.
9) What calms them when they are upset.
When she's angry and frustrated, she likes to destroy things. Sometimes those things are people. As for sadness and fear, I'm running away with my age regression headcannon again and saying that she likes to hide under a weighted blanket and listen to a safe, trusted love one's spark pulse as they rock her. If there's no one she considers safe, she'll play an audio file of some random spark pulse and pretend someone loves her.
5) A cherished personal belonging.
During the war, she tried to keep no sentimental belongings ("no attachments"), but after, when she's in recovery, she holds onto the first thing given to her as a genuine act of kindness and belief in her goodness. (In IDW, a Rodimus Star; in Earthspark, a "live laugh love" framed photo of her and Dot; etc.)
Optimus:
1) Something this character is truly proud of.
Can it be someone? Because my first thought was "Bumblebee." Yes I'm on the "Dadtimus" hype train, but more than just the simple cuteness I genuinely think Optimus's pride manifests in the lives he manages to guide and protect for the better
10) How they deal with pain.
Fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck you just had to hit me with this didn't you. damn. well. The answer is that he ignores it. Optimus is the #1 target of Ratchet's wrath when he comes in with three rust infections and a completely stripped joint because he played the "I'm fine, tend to others first" game for too long. It's to the point of self harm. And mental pain???????? OH, BUDDY. He just meditates on the Matrix until he loses his sense of self and slips into a state of dissociation so deep that he can function again. Sometimes he implodes and has a 2-hour meltdown in his quarters and then he just starts the buildup all over again.
Both:
13) What kind of parent they would be.
Crying weeping foaming at the mouth clawing at the walls shaking like a little dog. Them as parents is. everythign 2 me
Anyway, Megatron is a hot mess. He oscillates wildly between being the "fun dad" and the helicopter parent. Always obsessed with knowing exactly where they are at any given moment, if their surroundings are safe, if he can trust other mechs to so much as look at them... the moment that sparkling emerges, he's unlocked an entirely new level of PTSD. Also, because he grew up with "wire mother" instead of "cloth mother," he's VERY screwed in the head and doesn't know how to give affection at first. He shows his love through acts of service and protection until he finally adjusts enough to hug and cuddle. When their sparkling becomes a teen, that's when he really hits his stride. He handles the rebellious streak and the angst with an almost supernatural grace and shocking empathy and patience.
Optimus meanwhile is a tempering, nurturing force right out of the gate. He is the Snugglemaster, always willing to provide praise and affirmations. However, he is also just as paranoid as Megatron about their safety and is also a helicopter parent. That sparkling is 2000% homeschooled and has next to NO privacy. He absolutely gets cornered by the likes of Elita and Bumblebee staging an intervention that he's going to crush his bitlet if he doesn't open up that iron grasp, and that Megatron needs a counterweight. After that, Optimus absolutely earns those "#1 Dad" mugs, and even gets Megatron to chill tf out. It's the teenage years he has to watch out for. He struggles adjusting to his sparkling's new interests and struggles and he tries but man... it takes him a long time to break out of seeing his little one with Permababy Syndrome.
4) What they would do if they had one month to live.
Megatron is no holds barred fighting it with all her might. She'll spend the entire month searching for a cure or a solution, she'll struggle and rage and defy it every step of the way, even if it means leaving her loved ones in a time of peace. She will never go gently into that good night. It is her nature to rage, rage against the dying of the light.
Optimus, if he's not going "finally," then he's using that time to give as much closure to others as he can. Making happy memories with loved ones, tying loose ends, building things. He's already written like three separate speeches for this day, a la "when I am gone, do not lament my absence" and "when you look up at the stars, think of one of them as my spark."

19. Has your OC ever had an experience with the paranormal or the divine? What happened? Was it a one time encounter or is it a normal part of their life? Did they find it terrifying or thrilling?
Hmm...
I guess a good question would be, what counts as paranormal in a world where magic, mythical creatures and supernatural entities are just a fact of life?
"Paranormal" is a maybe for right now. There is a possibility in a place like the Underdark that he might have heard of the occasional wandering ghost--one such being the rare adventurer who manages to avoid a violent, bloody death, but becomes lost in the tunnels and succumbs to starvation or thirst, their ghost forced to continue their confused search for an exit while never able to stray far from their body.
And of course Clerics are no strangers to Necromancy, although typically the dead are saved to be used as battle fodder, so unlikely for Dalamus to see, given that he never left the city.
So the paranormal is.. unexpected, in the sense that Dalamus rarely, if ever, saw it in the city, but he knows it exists.
Divine, though... Divine is interesting.
A little context (my summary, anyway): Elves trance rather than sleep. Nothing says that they cannot sleep, but most things rather say they do not (or do not need to), and trance instead. It is understandable to prefer trance over sleep, but Dalamus is capable of sleeping. He just does not like it.
Most elves reincarnate after they die, and during their trances (which is more like self-guided meditation, a skill rather than a state of being) they relive memories of their past life/lives. These past memories peter off at about age 100, at which point the elf is considered socially to be an adult and their "dreams" become about their current life and memories.
But Drow do not seem to get these past memories in their trances, and instead see nothing, or the occasional "dream". Lolthite drow look for signs from Lolth in these "dreams" to guide them. Whether they are actually messages or signs from Lolth probably depends on whether the particular Drow has the favor of Lolth, such as Priestesses.
Lolth has only ever affected Dalamus' dreams superficially, a sort of presence brushing against his subconscious, likely incidentally rather than any purposeful contact, being that he just happens to be in close proximity with other loyal Lolthites who Lolth might rather influence. But it was enough for Dalamus to now notice the absence of it on the Surface, and out of desperation he continues to seek out signs of Lolth in his "dreams". It is very unsettling for him, too quiet. It feels like abandonment. (Because it is).
The other brush with the divine is something Dalamus is not even aware of, himself. But it came in the form of glowing, silver moths which guided him to the final passage out of the Underdark, and again visited him one night in the forest when he felt crushingly alone. Eilistraee prefers not to interfere directly or deprive anyone of their right to choose their own path, but tries to help lost Drow find safety.

Crow’s Connection to Death
Tumblr media
Crows for centuries have been closely connected with death. The main reason for this is crows feed on carrion–the flesh of the dead. Because of this many cultures, associate crows with death and dying. Some cultures in the past believed that crows were messengers of death. How this reputation came about is certainly understandable but is unfair.
If we look at examples in history around the world it becomes clear why so many cultures have a tradition of associating crows with death. In man’s early history bodies were not buried, it was a common sight to see crows feasting upon human corpses.
For centuries crows during times of war have been observed following soldiers onto battlefields where they wait patiently for the battle to be over so they can feed upon the fallen. In medieval Western Europe during an outbreak of the Bubonic plague people noted crows feeding upon the victims’ stacked bodies.
Because of this association with death crows over time gained a bad reputation. But not all cultures viewed them in this light.
Some Native American cultures see crows as a positive symbol because they believe the crow acts as a communicator or liaison between this world and the next. They are viewed as assistors that help the deceased cross over.
The Tibetans held a somewhat similar belief– they once placed pieces of bodies on top of temples so that crows could carry them to the next life.
The early Celtics viewed crows as the mediators between the human and spirit worlds. They believed that crows were oracles which god used to speak to them. This belief probably came about because crows can be trained to talk. So to some cultures crows are spiritual or supernatural in nature.
Over time this belief that crows were connected to death was used to teach lessons.
In the 13 th century Talmud, a vast collection of Jewish laws, there is a story where a crow teaches Adam and Eve to bury the body of their son. Adam and Eve being confronted with this first dead body on earth after creation did not know what to do with it. The story states the crow then kills another crow and buries it in front of Adam and Eve as a demonstration.
In an early Buddhist tradition, monks would sit in a graveyard and concentrate on decomposing bodies, again in a time before bodies were properly buried, later this was done through imagery and mediation. At one point during this guided meditation, the monk would see the image of a crow feasting upon his own corpse. The idea behind this was to keep death always in the forefront.
In a similar western tradition the Benedictine monks founded by St. Benedict, who once claimed a crow saved his life by warning him about a piece of poisoned bread, believed death should be kept always before the living.
The reason these two groups used the crow and its scavenging ways was to remind them that the presence of death is a part of the natural cycle of life. When we can see and understand the ephemerality of our lives we learn to appreciate life on a daily basis.
The false belief that crows bring death has resulted in a variety of myths and superstitions being passed down from one generation to the next. One of the most prevalent of these myths is about crows in graveyards. People say they hang out in them because of their connection to death. After all crows are big, black, and spooky.
In reality crows just find graveyards an ideal habitat. There is a nice mowed expanse of lawn where they can easily spot earthworms to eat etc. There is abundant water with plenty of trees to keep watch from and graveyards are quiet which crows like. There is another myth about crows flocking together in graveyards; they do this for protection, not for any supernatural reason.
The Greeks felt that crows were a bad omen often foretelling death. Because of this belief, they would say to the birds, “Go on your way, and bring me good news.” One term used for a group of crows is “murder” this comes from Greek mythology as well.
The Irish for generations believed that when a crow caws three times they are announcing the death of an individual. It was also believed if a crow flew into a house and couldn’t get out it was a bad omen.
Some superstitions state that a crow must fly into the house to foretell death. If the bird flies into a house in the morning the person will die in a better manner than if the crow flies in at dusk. If the crow is covered in mud or injured the person will have a long illness.
Today in our urban world, it is still almost impossible to avoid seeing crows along the highway picking at road kill. I think this is why so many myths and superstitions persist about the crow being a symbol of death.
In reality, crows are not to be feared, in fact when they are observed closely people note they are vibrant and alive. They are always doing something creative and they are very playful, which means they are highly intelligent.
In a recent Nature episode entitled “A Murder of Crows” on PBS it was shown crows make tools that help them retrieve food. Recent research indicates they are among the brightest animals in the world.
What is amazing is that crows seem to understand their own mortality. When one of them dies people have observed the following phenomenon. They often fly around the deceased bird cawing; in fact, they seem to hold their version of a crow funeral. They are seen landing and forming a circle around the deceased bird’s body. They stand still and silent for anywhere from a few minutes to over thirty minutes.
The people who have witnessed this event state that it shocked them for it was obvious to them that these crows were not just standing around.

headcanon. on Eternal Paradise faith.
In canon, the cult of Eternal Paradise takes inspiration from the real life religion of Karma Kagyu wherein a spiritual leader, known as Karmapa, acts as the figurehead & teacher. In composing my personal headcanon about how the cult operates in terms of religious worship, I have combined certain elements of different Tibetan Buddhism schools and sprinkled a dash of fantasy & personal interpretation of things. As such, this is a completely fictional religion that only takes inspiration from real life practices.
Disclaimer: I will be enhancing this post in the future as I see fit.
THE BASE COMPONENTS OF ETERNAL PARADISE FAITH
belief (ideas and values)
The core belief is that there exists a state of utmost peace & tranquility, that can be achieved only by severing all ties with the mundane world. Emotions are seen as a burden that weighs one down from achieving such a state and are thereupon 'entrusted' to the Lord Founder, who is considered capable of receiving them as he has already achieved such as a state and is able to mediate between this world & the next one. For that reason, the Lord Founder is the only one capable of guiding his principles to their ascension.
mythology (supernatural and sacred stories)
Much like real life Buddhism, Eternal Faith has no creator of the world and instead teaches that past events are the reason for present events that become the reason for future events. There are however, symbolic objects & deities, that would be called upon but not worshipped.
The lotus: The lotus is a symbol of purity & enlightement, thus its predominant appearance in works of art produced by the faithful. The Lord Founder himself would be depicted seated on an open lotus that symbolizes both his eternal nature & status as a being who appears in the mundane realm but simultaneously dwells in the spiritual one.
Muzan in Eternal Faith depictions plays a part similar to the Mahakala/Black Cloak; a personal protector of the Karmapa. Muzan would be depicted in paintings as a deity with multiple limbs & twelve blazing red eyes, usually wearing an expression of tranquility, a smile & having his predominant eye pair closed. He is often painted with long dark hair & wearing fabrics typical to the edo period, seated on a blue flower with long, slender petals. He has two forms; his male one being represented by the moon, symbolizing compassion & his female one being represented by the sun and symbolizing wisdom. As a protective deity, Muzan's female form can be wrathful towards those who are purposefully deviant as she is all-knowing of their intentions.
practices (rituals and rites of passage)
Guidance Council: private audiences with the Lord Founder, in which one would be guided to relief from concerns & burdens. Because of his innate innocence & compassion, the Lord Founder receives all troubles without judgement, and thus all should be entrusted to him, should one wish to be purified.
'Mindfulness' Practice: refers to a type of meditation/yoga that centers around abstinence from the five physical senses. It is considered a purification practice that ought to be repeated daily until one reaches a state where they are eligible for ascension.
Ascension Ceremony: The highest honor possible to achieve within the cult is to be recognized as worthy of entering "Eternal Paradise" — which is not only a state of great perfection but also a different realm of existence.
Room of Rememberance: Those who have come to pass within the temple without achieving their ascension would still be commemorated, in alignment with the principle of Compassion for others. Their physical remains are to be guarded eternally by the Lord Founder, who, alongside his principles, tends to their remains & protects them.
social organization (community).
At the top of the social hierarchy stands the Lord Founder, the enlightened one, who is believed to consciously be in a constant state of serenity & inner peace, thus acts as a beacon & paradigm of the ultimate state of being one can hope to achieve.
Status within the cult is granted by means of 1 ) longetivity & 2 ) the Lord Founder's favor. As such, the Lord Founder can judge which faithful are closer to achieving enlightement and thus grant them a higher social status. This process is usually unofficial and happens through daily interactions.
The newest recruits are considered to be most impure, as they have not dwelled within the temple long enough to shed the burdens & troubles of mundane life that corrupt one's spirit & make them vulnerable to temptation. Thus, those members receive special attention from others, seen as weak & in need of protection.

Ni: The Myth of the Cosmos
The anthropomorphic form of Ni is known as Vin, which is described more completely in this page. Vin is a psychological archetype which appears in the form of a Senex with incredible powers. In mythology he is often represented as a shaman, a seer or witch-doctor. At other times he is depicted as a third-eye in the center of the forehead, a crystal orb, a falcon, a crow or a raven. The primary feature of Vin is panoramic sight, which can pierce the present, past, future as well as across the dimensions of the dead and living. The avian metaphor aptly captures this attribute, as prey birds are known for their keen perception and field of view. And in some mythologies, Ni is depicted as a head containing dozens of eyes facing in all directions. The shaman is also able to communicate with the spiritual world, inform you as to your calling and guide you towards your destiny. Those enraptured by the spirit of Vin will undergo a pilgrimage driven by a search for an awakening or enlightenment. And this inquisition will take them across a diversity of esoteric domains, religious avenues, rituals and an apprenticeship under shamanic figures further along in this very question.
Tumblr media
Cosmic Consciousness
When the myth of Vin is fully realized, the Ni user awakens to the reality that all separateness is an illusion both in themselves and in all aspects of existence. They will enter a meditative flow-state where their consciousness --which is usually narrow, bounded and restricted-- opens up widely, lovingly and indiscriminately to the whole universe. The psychic barrier which artificially contains the ego away from all else is eradicated, allowing an acceptance of all existence just as it is here and now. In this state, all paradoxes and dualities vanishes into a greater unity. Matter and Spirit cease to be different substances, and a comprehension permeates that the laws of the universe aren’t separate in origin or form to all that exists within it. Energy is matter which is atoms which is life which is consciousness which is spirit and none of it can be subtracted from the rest; all are the same essence --transmuted. Impermanent in specific form but permanent in essence. The universe will be felt as being ultimately made of an evolving consciousness and one becomes a participant of that dynamic, cosmic consciousness. One ceases to be an "I" and instead becomes a temporary vessel through which the universe is made aware of its own existence. An intense feeling of bliss and rapture may seep over them, and often a feeling of contact with God.
Tumblr media
Mediums & False Prophets
But the Ni user may also abuse their powers when the myth of Vin completely overtakes them and convinces them that they are a supernaturally gifted channel and bridge between this world and the unseen world. They may take up a post in society as a guru or medium, claiming to have clairvoyant abilities, to perform séances and to cast magic spells. The Ni user possesses no such abilities, but instead has highly aggrandized the scope of their intuition in their mind; fully supplanting the sensory for the extrasensory. If not careful, the Ni user may slip into a sort of insanity where they are no longer able to discern their own imaginations from reality. In extreme cases, the Ni user --lost in the echo chamber of their mind-- comes to believe they hold a level of divinity and a holy message to gift to the world. They may appear to the public as a messianic figure and fashion a cult around their superstitions. Indeed, no type is more highly represented among cult leaders than they.

Psychic and Magickal Power Is Our Birthright
"In both psychic and magickal circles, there’s quite a bit of gatekeeping. This is unfortunate. Gatekeeping is best defined as an attempt to control and limit who can be a part of a certain group or activity. There’s a strong notion that you can only be born with magickal or psychic aptitude. While you definitely can be born with a predisposition to these realms, just as one might be born with a predisposition to art or athletics, it is definitely not the only way to attain them. In fact, it often becomes a form of lazy elitism to make such statements. Just as with art or sports, continual training, dedication, and practice are necessary for development and maintenance . . .
Some folks will say that these are things that must be passed down genetically in the family or that only certain groups, cultures, ethnicities, or genders can possess these abilities. This is absolutely incorrect. Not only do we see magick and psychic ability universally throughout history in both genders, but as humans, we all share a common ancestry—one that if you trace it far back enough is pagan and magickal. So let me make this crystal clear: anyone can perform magick and everyone is psychic. Magick and psychic ability aren’t supernatural but rather completely natural and absolutely possible for every single human being to engage in. We were born to embrace our full potential, to use all of our abilities, and to experience and interact with the world around us to the fullest degree possible."

Dreams, Visions, Prophesy, Trance, Meditation, Revelations
(292 verses in the Bible relate to the above)
Acts 2:17-19  And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams: And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy: And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke:
All scripture is God spoken. All scriptures are God, which is the Word, which is alive. Therefore, humankind is always in the end days. All scriptures are in the NOW. Is it YOUR now, maybe, maybe not.
Meditation;
1Ti 4:15-16  Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all. Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee.
(See Also; Jos 1:8, Isa 33:18, Luke 21:14, Psalms 1:2, 5:1, 19:14, 49:3, 63:6, 77:12, 104:34, 105:5, 119:15, 119:23, 119:48, 119:97, 119:99, 119:48, 143:5)
Psa 119:97  MEM. O how love I thy law! it is my meditation all the day.
The definition of meditation in the Hebrew;
H7881 שִׂיחָה Feminine of H7879; reflection; by extension devotion: - meditation, prayer. H7879 שִׂיחַ From H7878; a contemplation; by implication an utterance: - babbling, communication, complaint, meditation, prayer, talk.
Scriptures were penned by the souls that lived and spoke in their own way-language-understanding. Visions and prophesies are expressed through that soul but the Word that comes from the spirit world, by way of God, Jesus, spirit guides, the Holy Spirit, angels, your “higher” true perfect spiritual self.
Act 10:19  While Peter thought on the vision, the Spirit said unto him, Behold, three men seek thee.
We see in this vision of Peter, the Spirit spoke to him.

I will come to visions and revelations of the Lord. I knew a man in Christ above fourteen years ago, (whether in the body, I cannot tell; or whether out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;) such an one caught up to the third heaven. And I knew such a man, (whether in the body, or out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;) How that he was caught up into paradise, and heard unspeakable words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter.

Understanding Astral Projection: What It Is, What It Isn’t, and How to Perform It
Astral projection is a fascinating and widely discussed phenomenon within spiritual and metaphysical communities. Often described as an out-of-body experience (OBE), astral projection involves the sensation of leaving one's physical body and traveling through different realms of existence. While it has intrigued humanity for centuries, astral projection remains a subject of both belief and skepticism. To fully understand this phenomenon, it's important to explore what astral projection is, what it isn’t, and how one might attempt to perform it.
Tumblr media
What Astral Projection Is: A Journey Beyond the Physical
At its core, astral projection is the practice of intentionally separating the consciousness from the physical body to explore the non-physical, or astral, realms. This separation is believed to involve the astral body, a subtle, energetic counterpart to the physical body, which can travel independently in a dimension referred to as the astral plane.
The astral plane is often depicted as a realm that exists parallel to the physical world but operates on a different frequency or level of consciousness. This realm is thought to be inhabited by various entities, spirits, and energies, and is often described as a place where the limitations of time and space no longer apply. Those who practice astral projection report experiencing vivid, lucid environments, often filled with light, color, and symbols that differ from the physical world.
Astral projection has been documented across various cultures and spiritual traditions for thousands of years. In ancient Egypt, the concept of the "ka" was similar to the idea of the astral body, while Hinduism and Buddhism discuss the practice in terms of "siddhis," or supernatural abilities achieved through deep meditation. In modern times, astral projection has gained popularity in New Age and occult circles, where it is seen as a tool for spiritual exploration, self-discovery, and communication with higher realms.
Those who successfully experience astral projection often describe a range of sensations, including a feeling of floating, a sense of energy or vibration, and a heightened state of awareness. Some report meeting spiritual guides, exploring distant locations, or even encountering loved ones who have passed away. While the experiences can vary widely, the underlying theme is the liberation of consciousness from the physical body, allowing the individual to explore beyond the confines of the material world.
What Astral Projection Isn’t: Dispelling Misconceptions
Despite the intriguing nature of astral projection, it is surrounded by numerous misconceptions that can lead to misunderstanding or unrealistic expectations. To gain a clearer understanding, it is important to clarify what astral projection is not.
First and foremost, astral projection is not the same as lucid dreaming. While both involve altered states of consciousness and can feel similar, they are distinct experiences. In lucid dreaming, the dreamer becomes aware that they are dreaming and can control the dream's content. However, this occurs entirely within the dream state and the brain's activity during sleep. Astral projection, on the other hand, is believed to be a conscious journey undertaken while the body is in a relaxed, meditative state, but not necessarily asleep. The key difference is that astral projection is considered to take place in a separate, non-physical reality, rather than within the mind's dreamscape.
Another common misconception is that astral projection is inherently dangerous. While it is true that exploring the astral plane can be an intense and sometimes unsettling experience, there is no evidence to suggest that astral projection poses any physical or psychological harm to the practitioner. However, as with any spiritual practice, it is important to approach astral projection with respect, preparation, and a clear mind. Fear and negative emotions can influence the experience, so it is recommended that individuals cultivate a positive and protected environment before attempting to project.
Finally, it is important to note that astral projection is not guaranteed to work for everyone on the first attempt, or even after several attempts. It is a practice that requires patience, dedication, and an open mind. Like meditation or other spiritual practices, the ability to astral project can take time to develop, and experiences can vary greatly from person to person. It is also not a way to escape the challenges of the physical world; rather, it is a tool for self-exploration and spiritual growth.
How to Perform Astral Projection: A Step-by-Step Guide
For those interested in attempting astral projection, there are several techniques and practices that can facilitate the experience. While results may vary, the following steps offer a general framework for preparing the mind and body for astral projection:
Create a Calm Environment: Choose a quiet, comfortable space where you will not be disturbed. Dim the lights, light candles, or play soft, ambient music to create a relaxed atmosphere. Ensure that you are in a comfortable position, whether lying down or sitting in a reclined position.
Relax the Body and Mind: Begin by taking deep, slow breaths to calm your mind and relax your body. Progressive muscle relaxation, where you consciously tense and then release each muscle group, can help to ease physical tension. The goal is to reach a state of deep physical relaxation while maintaining mental alertness.
Enter a Meditative State: Close your eyes and focus on your breath or a specific point of concentration, such as a mantra or visualized light. Allow your thoughts to settle, and gradually enter a meditative state where your mind is clear and calm. This state of consciousness is often described as the hypnagogic state, a transitional phase between wakefulness and sleep.
Visualize the Separation of the Astral Body: Once you are deeply relaxed, begin to visualize or feel the sensation of your astral body separating from your physical body. You might imagine yourself floating above your physical form or feel a gentle pulling or lifting sensation. Some people find it helpful to visualize a silver cord connecting the astral body to the physical body, symbolizing the connection between the two.
Focus on the Vibrational State: As you approach the point of separation, you may experience a vibrational state—a sensation of buzzing, tingling, or energy surging through your body. This is often considered a sign that the astral body is preparing to separate. Stay calm and allow the vibrations to intensify without fear or resistance.
Lift Out of the Physical Body: With the vibrations at their peak, use your will and intention to gently lift out of your physical body. You might visualize yourself floating upwards or rolling out of your body as if getting out of bed. It is important to remain calm and focused during this process, allowing the astral body to fully disengage from the physical form.
Explore the Astral Plane: Once you have successfully separated from your physical body, you can begin to explore the astral plane. This may involve traveling to different locations, meeting spiritual guides, or simply observing the environment around you. Trust your intuition and allow yourself to be guided by the experience.
Return to the Physical Body: When you are ready to return, simply focus your intention on re-entering your physical body. You might visualize yourself sinking back into your body or feel a gentle pull drawing you back. The process of reintegration should be smooth and natural. Once back in your body, take a few moments to ground yourself by focusing on your breath and becoming aware of your physical surroundings.
Reflect on the Experience: After the experience, take some time to reflect on what you encountered. Journaling about your experience can help you process and remember the details of your astral journey. Over time, this practice can enhance your ability to astral project and deepen your understanding of the astral realms.
Conclusion: The Mystical Journey of Astral Projection
Astral projection offers a unique opportunity to explore the boundaries of consciousness and connect with the spiritual dimensions beyond the physical world. While it is a practice that requires patience, openness, and dedication, it can lead to profound experiences of self-discovery, spiritual growth, and expanded awareness.
Understanding what astral projection is—and what it is not—helps to demystify the practice and set realistic expectations for those who seek to explore it. By approaching astral projection with respect, preparation, and an open mind, individuals can embark on a journey that transcends the limitations of the physical body and offers a glimpse into the infinite possibilities of the astral realms.

The Path to Enlightenment According to A Course in Miracles
A Course in Miracles (ACIM) is a spiritual text that has captivated the hearts and minds of many seekers since its publication in 1975. Authored by Helen Schucman and Bill Thetford, the Course presents a unique and profound perspective on enlightenment. It offers a path that diverges from traditional spiritual teachings, focusing on the transformation of the mind and the recognition of divine love. This article explores the path to enlightenment as outlined in ACIM, delving into its key concepts and practical applications.
Understanding Enlightenment in ACIM
Tumblr media
In ACIM, enlightenment is synonymous with spiritual awakening and the realization of our true nature. It is described as a state of consciousness where one transcends the ego's illusions and recognizes the unity of all existence. The Course teaches that enlightenment is not a distant goal but an inherent state of being that can be accessed through a shift in perception.
The Role of the Ego
A central theme in ACIM is the concept of the ego, which is seen as the false self or the part of the mind that identifies with separation and individuality. The ego is driven by fear, guilt, and the desire for control. It creates a sense of separation from others and the divine source. The path to enlightenment involves recognizing and relinquishing the ego's influence, which allows for the experience of true peace and love.
The Practice of Forgiveness
Forgiveness is a cornerstone of ACIM's teachings and is considered essential for spiritual awakening. However, ACIM's concept of forgiveness differs from traditional views. It is not about excusing or condoning harmful actions but about recognizing the innocence of others and oneself. Forgiveness in ACIM podcast is the process of letting go of judgments and grievances, understanding that they are projections of the ego's fears rather than reflections of reality.
The Course emphasizes that forgiveness is a mental shift rather than an external act. It involves changing our perception of others and ourselves, seeing past the illusions of guilt and separation to recognize the inherent holiness in everyone. By practicing forgiveness, we release ourselves from the chains of the ego and open the door to enlightenment.
The Role of Miracles
In ACIM, miracles are defined as shifts in perception from fear to love. They are not supernatural events but changes in the way we perceive ourselves and others. Miracles are expressions of the divine love that underlies all of creation and are a natural outcome of our alignment with this love.
The Course teaches that miracles are a natural part of our spiritual journey and are facilitated by the Holy Spirit, the inner guide that helps us navigate the path to enlightenment. By being open to miracles, we allow ourselves to experience the transformative power of love and to heal the wounds of the ego.
The Holy Spirit's Guidance
The Holy Spirit is a central figure in ACIM, serving as the voice of divine guidance and wisdom. The Course teaches that the Holy Spirit is the inner teacher who helps us discern the truth and make choices that align with our highest good. Through the Holy Spirit's guidance, we learn to recognize and release the ego's illusions and to embrace the reality of our oneness with the divine.
Listening to the Holy Spirit involves quieting the mind and being open to intuitive insights and gentle nudges. It requires trust and willingness to follow a path that may sometimes seem counterintuitive to the ego's desires. The Holy Spirit's guidance is a key element in the journey toward enlightenment, helping us to navigate the challenges and opportunities of our spiritual path.
The Practice of Mindfulness and Meditation
While ACIM does not prescribe specific meditation techniques, it encourages the practice of mindfulness and inner contemplation. By focusing on the present moment and becoming aware of our thoughts and feelings, we can observe the workings of the ego and choose to shift our perception. Mindfulness helps us to remain centered in the present and to recognize the divine presence within ourselves and others.
Meditation, in the context of ACIM, is about cultivating inner stillness and connecting with the deeper aspects of our being. It involves letting go of the distractions of the external world and turning inward to experience the peace and love that reside within. Regular meditation can support the process of awakening and deepen our connection with the Holy Spirit's guidance.
The Journey of Awakening
Tumblr media
The path to enlightenment according to ACIM is a journey of self-discovery and transformation. It involves a gradual process of undoing the ego's illusions and embracing the truth of our divine nature. This journey is not about achieving perfection but about making consistent choices that align with love and forgiveness.
ACIM teaches that enlightenment is a state of mind that can be experienced in the present moment. It is not a future destination but a realization of our inherent connection with the divine. As we progress on this path, we may encounter challenges and setbacks, but each step brings us closer to the truth of our being.
Practical Applications of ACIM's Teachings
Applying the teachings of ACIM in daily life involves integrating its principles into our thoughts, actions, and relationships. Here are some practical ways to apply ACIM's teachings:
Practice Forgiveness: Regularly examine your grievances and judgments, and practice letting them go. Recognize the innocence in others and yourself, and choose to see beyond the ego's projections.
Seek Miracles: Be open to shifts in perception and embrace opportunities for healing and transformation. Allow yourself to experience and extend divine love in your interactions.
Follow the Holy Spirit: Cultivate a practice of listening to your inner guidance and making choices that align with love and peace. Trust in the Holy Spirit's wisdom and guidance.
Engage in Mindfulness: Stay present and aware of your thoughts and emotions. Use mindfulness to observe and release the ego's influence, and connect with the divine presence within.
Commit to Inner Stillness: Spend time in meditation or quiet reflection to deepen your connection with your true self and the divine. Allow yourself to experience the peace and love that are always present.
Conclusion
The path to enlightenment according to A Course in Miracles podcast is a journey of inner transformation and awakening. It involves letting go of the ego's illusions, practicing forgiveness, and embracing the guidance of the Holy Spirit. By integrating these principles into our daily lives, we can experience a profound shift in perception and come to recognize the divine love that underlies all of creation. Enlightenment, as taught by ACIM, is not a distant goal but an attainable state of being that reflects our true nature and the oneness of all existence.

📖✨ Exploring the Profound Teachings of ACIM: Chapter 1, Section 1, Verse 6 ✨📖
Hello, beautiful souls! Today, we continue our exploration of "A Course in Miracles" (ACIM) by reflecting on Chapter 1, Section 1, Verse 6:
"Miracles are natural. When they do not occur, something has gone wrong."
This verse offers a powerful insight into the nature of miracles and the state of our spiritual alignment. Let's delve into its profound meaning and how it can influence our understanding and practice of living a miraculous life.
🔮 Miracles as Natural Phenomena 🔮
ACIM teaches that miracles are not extraordinary events, but natural expressions of divine love. This idea challenges the common perception that miracles are rare or supernatural occurrences. Instead, miracles are seen as inherent aspects of our existence, meant to be experienced regularly. When we are in alignment with our true nature and the divine, miracles flow effortlessly into our lives. This perspective encourages us to view the miraculous as an everyday possibility, accessible to all of us.
💖 The Implication of Absence 💖
The verse also states that when miracles do not occur, it indicates that something has gone wrong. This doesn’t imply judgment or punishment but highlights a disruption in our connection to the divine. It suggests that the absence of miracles is a sign that we are out of alignment with love, truth, and our higher selves. This misalignment could be due to fear, ego-driven thoughts, or resistance to the natural flow of life.
🌟 Restoring Alignment 🌟
Understanding that miracles are natural and their absence signals misalignment, we can focus on restoring our connection to the divine. This involves practices that help us realign with love and truth, such as meditation, prayer, and mindfulness. By letting go of fear and ego-based thinking, we open ourselves to the natural flow of miracles. This process is about returning to a state of inner peace, where miracles can effortlessly manifest.
✨ Living a Miraculous Life ✨
Embracing the idea that miracles are natural encourages us to cultivate a mindset of openness and receptivity. We learn to expect and recognize miracles in our daily lives, seeing them as reflections of our alignment with divine love. This shift in perception transforms our experience of life, bringing more joy, gratitude, and wonder. We start to see the miraculous in the ordinary, appreciating the beauty and synchronicity that surround us.
🌈 Trusting in the Divine Flow 🌈
By acknowledging that miracles are natural, we also develop a deeper trust in the divine flow of life. We become more attuned to the guidance and support that is always available to us. This trust allows us to navigate challenges with greater ease, knowing that we are always being guided towards our highest good.
As we meditate on this verse, let’s commit to living in alignment with love and truth, allowing miracles to naturally unfold in our lives. Let’s embrace the miraculous as our natural state and trust in the divine flow of life.
💫✨ Celebrate the natural flow of miracles and live in harmony with the divine! ✨💫

Hay House: Heal Your Life +...Unlock Your Next Transformation-Day 2
It is Day 2 y'all! So excited, there is such interesting things to learn about. Some of which I know and some I am learning for the first time. There is so much here, everyone can get something from this. Bring on the woo woo!
Tumblr media
Programming Your Mind for Remarkable Recovery -Dr Joe Dispenza (1.5 hours)
Some of us need a wake up call to wake up. Step outside of convention and find miracles. Higher intelligence has a presence. Combine a clear intention with an elevated emotion. How you think and how you feel create a state of being. Repetition conditions the body. Most people's biology is the past. Can you believe in the future? You can change your brain just by thinking. Change a record of the past to the hardware of the future. Common people are doing the uncommon. How you think, act, and feel make your personality and your personality makes your personal reality. Become conscious of your unconscious thoughts. Change your hardwire. Objectify your objective self. Meditate and disconnect from your external environment. Be present in the moment. You are at your absolute best when you are beyond yourself. You know how to do this, you just have to make it a skill. Go beyond the analytical mind. Stress makes you focus on environment, body, and time. We spend a majority of our time living in stress. Fall in love with the moment and feel more whole. All energy is frequency and frequency carries information. Call your future to you. Have your brain and heart be coherent. The union of polarities is love. The power within you can heal you if you get out of your own way. If you can understand the what and why, the how becomes easier. The memory without an emotional charge is called wisdom. Go beyond space and time. It is a process of action. Attitudes are shortened states of being. Beliefs stringed together makes perceptions. Become your own pharmacy. Placebo is conditioning, expectation, and assigning meaning to something. Can you teach a placebo without using one? Take your power back. We live in an age of information and ignorance is a choice. You can only think what you are feeling. You have 3 types of stress: physical, chemical, and emotional. Get 2 out of those 3 in order and the 3rd will correct itself. Expect the unexpected in your life. Become comfortable in the unknown and become supernatural.
Guided Medicine Journey - Turtle Spirit (20 minutes)
Guided journey through the animal realm.
The Biology of Belief - Bruce H Lipton (7 Hours)
I did not have time to get into this course but it looked very interesting.
You Can Heal Your Life - Louise Hay (1.5 Hours)
She speaks about her personal life and man the life she has had is crazy. There is such an array of wonderful speakers as well. It is a movie based on a book called "You can heal your life" by Louise Hay. The gateways to wisdom and knowledge are always open. Pay attention to what you say. You are creating your own life. Mirror and Affirmation work is important. Substitute the fear for curiosity. This movie is a better version of The Secret but also has a visual story showing how it feels to go through the process along the way.
Meditation Made Easy - Matteo Pistono (3.75 Hours)
I did not have time to get into this course but it looked very interesting.
This is such a great way to promote the untouched full library of the information from Hay House. Science rules! Science and spirituality can be so much more friendlier than most people think. I have already seen changes in my dreams from Day 1. Looking forward to Day 3!
