Achieve a Radiant Look with Natural Home Treatments
If you desire to enhance your beauty through home-based treatments, there are numerous natural remedies and practices you can incorporate into your daily routine. Here are some tips to help you achieve a beautiful appearance using home-based treatments:
· Maintain Skin Hydration: Consuming an adequate amount of water daily is crucial for keeping your skin hydrated and healthy. Aim to drink at least eight glasses of water each day to maintain a natural glow and prevent dryness. You can also explore effective beauty tips for women.
· Regularly Cleanse Your Face: Cleansing your face twice a day is essential for removing dirt, excess oil, and impurities from your skin. Use a gentle cleanser suitable for your skin type. Alternatively, you can try natural cleansers like honey, yogurt, or rosewater, which have excellent cleansing properties.
· Exfoliate Your Skin: Exfoliation on a regular basis helps eliminate dead skin cells, revealing a smoother and brighter complexion. Create a homemade scrub by combining ingredients like sugar, coffee grounds, or oatmeal with honey or olive oil. Gently massage the scrub onto damp skin in circular motions and rinse off with warm water.
· Utilize Natural Face Masks: Face masks made from natural ingredients can nourish and revitalize your skin. For instance, a honey and lemon mask can brighten the skin, while a yogurt and turmeric mask can help with acne and blemishes. Apply the mask to clean skin, leave it on for the recommended time, and then rinse off with lukewarm water.
· Moisturize Your Skin: Moisturizing is vital for maintaining healthy and supple skin. Choose a moisturizer suitable for your skin type and apply it after cleansing. Alternatively, you can use coconut oil, almond oil, or aloe vera gel as natural moisturizers.
· Protect Your Skin from the Sun: Safeguarding your skin from harmful UV rays is crucial to maintain its health and prevent premature aging. Apply sunscreen with a minimum SPF of 30 every time you venture outdoors, even on cloudy days. Additionally, wear a wide-brimmed hat and sunglasses for added protection.
· Get Sufficient Sleep: A good night's sleep is essential for your overall well-being and beauty. Aim for 7-9 hours of quality sleep each night to aid your body in repair and rejuvenation. Sufficient sleep contributes to healthy skin and a refreshed appearance.
· Maintain a Balanced Diet: A nutritious diet plays a pivotal role in preserving your beauty. Consume a variety of fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean proteins, and healthy fats. These provide essential vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants that promote healthy skin, hair, and nails.
· Practice Stress Management: Chronic stress can negatively impact your physical appearance. Incorporate stress-relief techniques such as meditation, deep breathing exercises, yoga, or engaging in enjoyable hobbies. Managing stress helps prevent skin issues like acne and premature aging.
· Follow a Regular Exercise Routine: Regular exercise improves blood circulation, facilitating the delivery of essential nutrients to your skin. Engage in physical activities like brisk walking, jogging, dancing, or yoga to keep your body and skin healthy.
Remember, everyone's skin is unique, and what works for one person may not work for another. It's important to pay attention to your skin's specific needs and consult a dermatologist if you have any concerns or persistent skin issues.

Introduction
Aisha Patel, born and raised in the United Kingdom to Indian immigrants, Priya and Arham has finally made it to the big leagues! Having nurtured an intense interest in racing and motorsport, often watching Formula One races with her family, her long-time dream is finally coming true.
Her parents, much like most Asians, tried to push their daughter into a more stable profession but soon relented as they watched her skill grow and her flame burn like an inferno.
When it came out that Porsche would be replacing the beloved Haas F1 team on the grid, she jumped at the chance, displaying her racing skills in F3 & F2 by dominating the podiums and impressing a talent scout who hand-picked her for the spot.
Aisha is an ambitious woman, determined and headstrong as she blazes through any blockages that may present themselves whilst consistently pushing herself to the limit both on and off of the track.
Her confidence is infectious as she holds her own candle, always perfecting her skillset whilst embarking on her travels to becoming the first South Asian woman to win a World Drivers Championship. Yet, she remains humble, remembering her roots and maintains a down-to-earth persona that embraces all of those around her.
Driving style
Aisha's driving style is ruthless and aggressive, she becomes a killer when on track as the adrenaline fills her up to her ears and all she can think of being first and staying first.
Although, the young driver has also proven herself to being one of the most calculated on the grid, maintaining her killer instincts whilst upholding an ice cold strategy, whether her race engineers like it or not. She can easily adapt to different tracks and wastes no time in becoming one with the tarmac beneath her wheels.
Yet, she still needs to mature her driving sense, sometimes some fights are not worth it and are not worth sacrificing a front wing for. Her predator like rivalries can sometimes leak over into post-race cool downs, and it has been observed, one too many times that she has been squaring up drivers who made, in her words, "A wrong fucking move, and cost [her] a podium." despite their seasoned years in the game, and her lack thereof.

I met this man at a bar recently and he was absolutely gorgeous. He’s here shooting a movie but otherwise wasn’t into me at all. Could you possibly make me into an even bigger hotter more muscular movie star so that he’ll notice me and want to get together?
Well… You're not particularly good-looking or charismatic now… No wonder the first contact wasn't particularly successful. But what do you expect with your baggy sweatshirt and ill-fitting jeans?
After the nasty rebuff you received, you're sitting alone at the bar again, looking into your… Whiskey? When did you order a whiskey? You notice that two girls in the corner keep looking over at you, whispering, looking and giggling. One of them gets up and walks towards you. You straighten up, smile at her, she turns bright red, giggles and asks if she can take a selfie. She has an adorable Indian accent. And you reply in Hindi that it would be a pleasure and an honor. She takes the selfie, gives you a kiss on the cheek and runs to her friend, giggling. You finish your whiskey and wave the bartender over to pay. He replies that it would have been an honor to serve you and that the drink is on the house, of course. And a second one if you like. Your crush looks at you questioningly. You accept the second whiskey with thanks and toast the actor. He toasts back and frantically thinks about how he knows you.
It's getting warm in the bar. You unbutton two buttons on your shiny shirt. Like the trousers, which are made of a similar fabric, the shirt fits like it was painted on your body. The bar is getting fuller. Of course, many guests are whispering about your crush. But even more stare at you, want a selfie or ask for your autograph. Many of your fans are glowing-eyed and black-haired. Lots of Indians. Your crush asks you if you're an actor too. The Indian beauty who is taking a selfie with you, pretending to give you a kiss, almost collapses with laughter. She opens Instagram and shows your crush an Instagram account. Your Instagram account. 58 million followers! He turns pale. Very pale. Your skin turns a deep brown. You answer his question with a heavy Indian accent. Yes, you're an actor too. Bollywood is productive. And you are one of the biggest stars. Four to six films a year. And each one is a box office hit. Your fitness videos? Top sellers! Your own fashion collection? A must-have in Delhi, Mumbai and Calcutta. And now also in London and Berlin. You smile your hundred-million-rupee smile. It leaves him speechless. But the bulge in his pants speaks its own language…
For the two young men who ask for a selfie, you throw yourself back into the cool macho pose that half of India loves you for. You give the bartender a 100-pound note as a tip, put on your leather coat and tell your colleague "Savoy, Charlie Chaplin Suite. Ask for John Rolfe". You don't need to look around to know that he's rushing to pay and grab his jacket. Tonight will be a close exchange between Hollywood and Bollywood.

AAAAAAAAAAA- THEY CALLED ME A CUTIE WHAT IS GOING ON- I THOUGHT THEY HAD A CRUSH ON A BOY WHAT HAPPENED? Daily Hobie HC! September, the harvest moon. Big, bright and beautiful in the sky as it slowly climbed over the horizon. Yet, Hobie didn't need to look at the sky when he could just see the reflection in your wide eyes. He gently nudged your shoulder, noticing the enchantment you were trying to place on his instrument slowly disintegrating. Hobie watched as your eyes quickly looked back down, your hands holding onto the instrument firmly. He watched as you closed your eyes, beginning to hum as a coloured, teal-green glow emitted from the pads of your fingertips. The glow began to etch its way into the wood of his instrument. Once you were done, he had to refrain from grabbing your face and drowning you in kisses and nips of appreciation for casting an enchantment on his instrument. Now, not only is his instrument practically unbreakable, but the carving meant that it was tipped with attacking/defensive magic, meaning he could use it as a weapon. Hobie smiled warmly towards you as you handed the instrument back, leaning into you as you both watched the moon continue to rise, unaware of the confused looks Pav, Gwen and Miles were giving each other, clearly gesturing at the two of you. Fast forwards to when Hobie can actually use his instrument in combat, everyone was ecstatic when it first occurred. He swung the instrument towards the enemies, successfully knocking them back as a ray of teal-green light shot out and collided with the surrounded assaulters. Miles had also been practicing his archery, getting better at aiming for moving targets done with you tying something to the base of your tail and running around him. 7 times out of 10, he managed to hit. Gwen has been filling her journal with new herbs and mixtures as she cheered from the sidelines as Miles practiced his archery on those days, with Hobie and Pavitr casually chatting while Pavitr attempted to be able to summon fire intentionally from the golden markings of his palm. During the casual days, and the difficult days where you'd come back injured, there's no doubt that they've all been by your side. Hell, it's now permanently Hobie's job to carry you in the makeshift carrier backpack, with your face resting at his shoulder on all times. Miles and Gwen roll their eyes in mild, feigned disgust, all while being hypocrites and holding hands. And Pavitr? Obviously treating this all like some stereotypical Hindi romance movie because let's be honest, it probably is. The moment the stars collide, however, is tonight. It's Hobie's birthday, and everyone's taken a break from regular travelling and training. Hobie smiles awkwardly at all the birthday attention he's been getting. Of course, he's appreciative as ever, but he had no idea how to react accordingly. Even as you all bring out a cake (which you totally didn't nick ingredients for), Hobie is flabbergasted by the sole appearance of one, but still grateful nonetheless. As he cuts the cake with a cleaned dagger, Pavitr quickly speaks up about a tradition he heard that if the 'knife' came out dirty, he'd have to kiss the nearest person near him. And low and behold, the nearest person to him was you, standing right next to him as he cut the cake. As he pulls out the dagger, obviously messy, and set it aside. Hobie reached over for a very flustered foxy-witch, pulling you close to with his hands gently brushing against your waist. He leans in close, his lips ghosting over yours as he mutters a low ask if you're fine with this. You nod a little too eagerly, him now gently planting his lips against yours, to which you uncontrollably smile through. -🐦⬛
Well they're correct!
Daily Hobie HC!!!
Hobie's guitar is now a weapon! Hell yeah!!! I bet every time he looks at it he remembers you 🥺
Miles glaring at Hobie's arm around your shoulders: you see this shit, Gwen?
Gwen, who's currently squeezing his hand and having a competition on who can squeeze the hardest: Disgusting
Poor Pav he's the 5th wheel 😭😭😭
AWWW THEY KISSED ON HIS BDAY!!! I've never heard of the knife thing! That's adorable tho 😍

Gestures I've learned from Hindi films
Learning a language involves so much more than just learning grammar and vocabulary - it includes non-verbal communication and gestures, which we know make up for a whole chunk of human interaction, especially if you are a learner and sometimes at a loss for words. Here are some of the gestures I hadn't really seen before I started watching Hindi films, but pretty soon I noticed they are very meaningful and sometimes speak more than words alone.
Greetings
It didn't take long for me to notice that there seem to be two distinct and common hand gestures for greetings, the namaste-gesture being perhaps more universal of the two. It signals a polite welcome or greeting. It has also been described to hold a meaning along the lines of "the sacred in me recognizes the sacred in you" [source].
Above Madhuri Ji is showing another greeting called adab or aadab, which can be accompanied by the phrase आदाब अर्ज़ है when greeting and ख़ुदा हाफ़िज़ when parting.
Touching feet
In many films, we can see younger people touching their elder's feet, or as above a wife attempting to touch her husband's feet. This is an Indian custom to show respect. In response, the person touching the feet receives आशीर्वाद, a blessing, when the elder touches their head.
Nazar na lage
This gesture wasn't that self-evident to me at first. It's usually shown when seeing a beautiful person or a precious moment and the person making the gesture is attempting to protect that sight or person from the evil eye - sort of what the English-speaking world uses the phrase 'knock on wood' for.
Pakka
Pinching one's throat with thumb and forefinger and saying पक्का indicates the same, as when in the Western world we would show up two or three fingers as in "Scout's honour" - swearing that what we're saying is true.
Sorry
Pulling down one's earlobes with both hands is a gesture of genuine apology. There are several explanations for this that I've seen but one that I found perhaps most plausible, is that it's apparently linked to a known embarrassing punishment where a wrongdoer is asked to do squats while holding their earlobes, and touching one's ears indicates that the person is so sorry that they would even be ready to accept such a punishment. [source]
Pinky finger
Oh this was a fun one the first couple of times I saw it and I had to guess its meaning just from the film context alone. Showing one's pinky finger indicates that the person needs to use the bathroom urgently. Some sources I found say it's used in real-life situations mostly by children and it's not quite common or the most polite gesture among adult peers.
Beckoning
This beckoning gesture with the palm facing downwards was completely new to me as well but makes so much sense that I have actually adopted this one in my daily life. So whereas usually in Europe and in the Western world the 'come here'-gesture is made with the palm facing upwards, in India and in many places in Asia that gesture is considered very rude and only suitable for dogs if even them. My natives around me may think I'm silly beckoning my children this way but at least I'm not being unintentionally rude to anyone in the process.
Appreciation
Forming a circle by touching the tips of the thumb and index finger seems to be the Indian equivalent of thumbs-up - it's shown when something, like food, is very good and recommended.
Or just like Hindi films - very educational, much recommended!

Hi ! I was giggling while reading your post about crushes and how you are feeling about love . It's too cute 🥺 🥰 and the phase that all of us go through when we have crushes😅🥰
I haven't been in a relationship or have dated anyone not that it's a bad thing . I love seeing all my girlies in love sharing their experiences. Basically I love LOVE idk if it makes any sense 🤣.
I had an unrequited love type of story with this person . He's a distant family member. I used to admire him very much like the way he used to talk with such respect, warm smiles , witty , making everyone laugh , sooo down to earth , making sure everyone felt included etc . We used to meet on different family functions n all and he's a close friend of my cousin . We held mutual respect for one other and I used to search for him and act as if I was not looking for him . It felt like gravity was working way harder when he's around . I gradually developed a crush around 15 yrs and it turned into idk whatever well into my mid 20's . We used to talk , tease , motivate and give tips to each other , there was never flirting involved. I used to think for years and feel sad that he's not interested in me but the things he'd do for me spoke otherwise. Here n there the elders of the family thought we'd make a good couple but his family wasn't happy with it . There were never direct confrontations or anything . His mother and grandmother used to love me , sometimes throw indirect remarks on my family's financial situation it used to hurt me a little but I know where I came from and will never forget , but when it came to matter of our marriage she staright out refused cuz obviously they wanted a rich bride and they did get him .He's now married to a lovely women and they have a beautiful and healthy baby boy now . The irony I didn't even know that this all was going in the background that they refused me and the search for a bride and found her , the marriage was set till I got the wedding invitation. My cousin told me recently what was going on then . All was said n done . I loved him , idk if he loved me or I just projected . I deep down knew that this will not workout cuz he was already in a compromised situation with his family and I'd tell myself that he didn't have any feelings to cope with the situation . He's now married and has a son . Guess what?! his wedding anniversary is just a day after my parents wedding anniversary and they got pregnant right after my birthday. 😅
I did think that i should've gathered a lill courage and kept all inhibitions aside to go n convey my feelings to him then our lives would've been so different. It doesn't matter now and I'm so happy that he's happy with his family 😊. The love and respect I've for him will still be there . It makes my heart feel a different kind of happy when I see him now . Him and his wife are so cute smiling and are very welcoming. I feel so good watching them from afar and I have nothing but to feel happy for them .
That was love for me , now I don't think want to love right now . Definitely will be looking forward to LIFE n LOVE ig 💗
hii angel 🥺
i love LOVE too 😩its the best feeling in the world 🥰
omg that was a whole hindi 400 episode soap opera right there, i could picture it all, a Gurmeet Choudhary kind of guy is how i pictured the man, and you're a Drashti Dhami type of gal, his wife is a Shrenu Parikh type lady
sometimes the most profound experiences of love we have are of love that isn't consummated. not every thing has to end with a conventional "happily ever after" in order for it to be meaningful. you loved him and even if he didn't know it, the experience of loving him, changed you as a person. your heart has the ability to wish and hope for someone's well being just because. only love can do that to a person.
who knows what would've happened if you had confessed your feelings. it may or may not have been positive but let's believe whatever happened is how it was meant to be.
real relationships are often not as easy or satisfying as loving someone from a distance. i was so upset by so much when i was in a relationship with my ex, but after ending things with him, it feels easier to only remember the love and warmth. i'm not someone who can hate anybody so i didn't expect to hate him and nor do i but my heart feels so light and easy with the kind of love i have for him. i dont have to worry about the messiness of the relationship anymore. and the love we give, we cant really take back and i hope in his moments of defeat, if at all it helps, he thinks of how much i loved him and it gives him the strength to go on. ok ill stop now before i cry lmao
i hope you can continue to be happy for your person but i also hope a warm, nourishing and tranquil love, waits for you around the corner. you deserve to be loved as much as you love others. i hope you have a wonderful week ahead 💗💖

1. Mastering the Script: Unveiling the Secrets of Devanagari
Hindi utilizes the Devanagari script, a beautiful system that might seem unfamiliar at first. However, numerous resources and apps can be your allies. Start by familiarizing yourself with the basic characters, focusing on pronunciation and recognition.
2. Building a Foundation: Essential Hindi Vocabulary
Language is all about building blocks, and vocabulary is key. Start with everyday words and phrases you'll encounter in greetings, introductions, and common situations. Utilize flashcards, mobile apps, or online courses to make memorization engaging.

I Am Kavi
Author: Thushanthi Ponweera
Review
This beautiful middle grade novel-in-verse follows Kavi, a young girl in a small village, who gets the opportunity to go to a big school in the capital of Columbo on scholarship.
Kavi makes friends and makes mistakes, though my favorite aspect of the book is her rocky relationship with her mother.
Just like any ten-year-old, Kavi's jealousies and desires to be wanted manifest in stubborn ways, to the point that she doesn't even look back at her mother when she leaves.
It must be all those Hindi movies I watch / that's made me such a good / actress.
Another aspect of the book that I loved was the peek at Sri Lankan religious traditions, with Kavi's commentary and her occasional not-quite-devout arguments with Lord Buddha.
The book is set in 1998 against the backdrop of the decades-long Sri Lankan civil war. There is no conflict shown in the book - life goes on in Columbo - but there is an author's note with historical background at the end.
This was a lovely and poetic look at a girl's life in 1990s Sri Lanka ( also the same time that the author grew up) and it was a joy to read.
Plus this cover is stunning!

Wear sunscreen constantly.
Wear sunscreen every time you go outside. Long-term sun exposure without protection can lead to dullness, dryness, accelerated aging, and pigmentation.

Skin that is properly hydrated will naturally radiate. Drink enough of water and electrolytes to keep your skin from becoming dry, itchy, and dull.
C vitamin
According to beauty tips for women, you should start each day by using a vitamin C serum. Vitamin C lotions have additional benefits, including preventing UV damage and producing a more radiant complexion over time.
Lip and skin exfoliation
Over-exfoliating can cause your skin to respond with extra oil production or breakouts, so aim for once a week to get the job done. When the lips are exfoliated, they become softer and smoother.

Care for your face on the go
When you are on the road, do not forget about your skin care routine. Most individuals, including us, keep daily skincare necessities in a different bag. What you should do when you are on the move is detailed below.
What You Need to Pack
Sunscreen and lip balm should always be in your bag. They will always be useful. To be thanked later.
Cut down on sun exposure.
A sunblock may not always be sufficient. Do not forget your hat and sunglasses.
Do a mask wash
Masks should be washed after each use considering the new normal.
One essential skincare tip to remember for radiant skin: always use fresh, clean make-up brushes. Once a week, clean your concealer & foundation brushes to prevent the spread of bacteria and the clogging of pores. Once a month is sufficient for cleaning eye makeup brushes.
In this way: Apply a small amount of gentle shampoo on your palm. Brush bristles should be dampened with warm water. Then, work some of the shampoo into the bristles by massaging the brush into your palm. If the metal handle or the base of the bristles becomes moist, the adhesive may soften & the bristles may fall out. Get rid of the shampoo by rinsing and then blotting dry. Keep the bristles of the brushes hanging over the side of the counter as they dry.
