#i've never been to houston but my alarm bells went off #i wasn't completely sure how close houston was to the ocean but i knew it wasn't super far #and upon looking it up (which clearly was more work than this author did) i see that it's barely a hop skip and a jump away #i called my mom in rage to tell her about this #and she said that when she was in houston they went to the beach easily #so i'm justified #fucking hell please do some BASIC RESEARCH of geography before making statements like that #this is ice plant barbarians btw #i'm on the fourth book
