life goal:
get a job at go transit so i can become the canadian counterpart to amtrak-official
#My friend was telling me about the train to Churchill today#It takes 12 hours to go the 70km between Gillam and Churchill#Bc the max speed is 15km/hr#Any faster and the train will derail#And the entire track is basically built on a marsh#So it rocks side to side bc the ground is so unstable#Also VIA doesn't own any tracks so the passenger trains are second priority to freight#Bc the tracks all belong to the freight companies#At least go transit is frequent and reliable#(And much easier to sneak on)
