Trabyahe: Entry No. 2 The Enchanted Castle of Fantasy World: A Closer Look
Welcome to Fantasy World!
A place where dreams almost come true! Located near Lemery, Batangas, this enchanting destination is often mistaken for Tagaytay due to its beautiful rolling hills and stunning views. Originally planned to be a grand theme park like Disneyland, the construction of Fantasy World was halted midway. Despite this, it has become a magical spot for photos and fairy tale fun.
Fantasy World is an Instagram hotspot, perfect for capturing amazing photos. The park's whimsical scenery and dreamy backdrop make it an ideal location for prenuptial shoots and anyone looking to add a touch of magic to their pictures. Imagine walking through the park, surrounded by buildings that look like they’re straight out of a storybook. Every corner offers a new and enchanting photo opportunity.
The highlight of Fantasy World is its towering castle. This grand building was meant to be the main attraction of the theme park. Visitors who are not afraid of heights can climb to the top of the main tower. From there, you will see breathtaking views of the whole park and the beautiful landscape around it. The views from the top of the castle perfectly blend natural beauty and amazing architecture.
So, come and enjoy Fantasy World, where fairy tales and real-life mix. The rides might be still, but the magic is real!
Things to do inside Fantasy World
Take pictures

There are lots of Instagram-worthy locations in Fantasy World. Even without effort, the castle alone is incredibly intriguing and looks amazing in pictures. Even though the rides aren't working, you may still sit on them to take amusing pictures.
Rent a costume
For P300, you can rent a fairytale or medieval outfit for the duration of your visit, adding to the experience. You may capture far more magic and enjoyment in your selfies and photos when you explore the park dressed according to the theme.
Climb to the top of the main tower
The balcony offers an unobstructed 360-degree view of the castle grounds and the surrounding environment, creating a perfect blend of natural beauty and spectacular architecture.
Cross the hanging bridge
Within the castle grounds, you'll find two gigantic trees connected by a hanging bridge. Climb up and attempt crossing it for more amazing photo chances.
Fantasy World Day Tour Rates
The new admission price is P200 for each individual.
Up until recently, the admission rate was P1000, good for up to five people. Back then, you would still have to pay P1000 even if your group consisted of fewer than five people. However, it was modified to P100 per person in November 2019.
The majority of people who park in front of the castle typically do so only to snap pictures and never inside. However, a portion of that is due to their ignorance about their ability to enter.
The hours of operation for Fantasy World are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Sample Itinerary
The itinerary should cost you around P620 (USD12, EUR10, SGD16). But this is if you’re not stopping anywhere else.
07:00 am – Van to Lemery, P140
09:00 am – Fantasy World, P200 (P1000/5pax)

Lakbay Sa Tagaytay

https://primer.com.ph/feature/2019/12/27/tagaytay-city-travel-guide-christmas-2019/
https://asianwanderlust.com/en/things-to-do-in-tagaytay-philippines/

TODAY: The delegation of various sectors from Southern Tagalog gathered at [University of the Philippines Los Baños] Carabao Park in a celebration of Pride Month. This year's theme is, “LAVARN [Fight] LGBTQ+ of Southern Tagalog! Makibeki [Dare to struggle] for land, wages, jobs, inclusive space and rights!”
ST Pride: “Pride started as a riot. The most important thing is having rights in our country. Let's continue to makibeki for everyone!” SIKAD Laguna dedicated a song about the ongoing struggle of the LGBTQ+ community.
UPLB USC: “The spirit of pride as a protest is alive and well to demand land, wages, jobs, inclusive space, and rights!” UPLB USC Chairperson Gio Olivar also encouraged us to stand up and claim the spaces that belong to us.
Lakapati Laguna emphasized the attacks that members of the LGBTQ+ community continue to experience in universities in Laguna, as well as throughout the said province... “It is in our hands to forge a society without discrimination. A society where we can love freely, where all genders and classes are free.” [...]
Dakila PH Collective for Modern Heroism (DAKILA): “What is supposed to be a celebration becomes a grim reminder that the fundamental rights of the [LGBTQ+] community is elusive. Pride should not end today as the community continues to face harsh realities.”
Kabataan Partylist ST: “Basic rights will always be denied to us by those in office. Let's continue to discuss, organize. Let's show what a lot of young people can do together in Southern Tagalog.”
Bahaghari Batangas: “It's not only students and youth who are at risk. Discrimination continues all the way to the factory. Don't turn a deaf ear to them, listen to the call of the gay community!”
UPLB Babaylan: “History is witness to LGBTQ+ people fighting back. LGBTQ+ or not, let's fight the policies and social plagues together. We 'dasurv' a society that is colorful, accepting, and free.”
Anakbayan Quezon: “The crisis of the entire country is palpable in Quezon province. Until this type of society is not dismantled, Pride will remain a protest.” [...]
PAMALAKAYA Cavite: “If we continue to be afraid, no one will protect our rights! Gays must not waver and give up the fight. Be strong! We should not be afraid.” [...] Delegates marched from Carabao Park, UPLB to Junction, Los Baños where the program continued.

Fading Dreams: The Haunting Beauty of Fantasy World Castle in Batangas
Literary Journalism
The Fantasy World Castle in Batangas was once a grandiose theme park that aimed to bring fairy tales to life. However, its fate took a dramatic turn, transforming it into a haunting and eerie landmark.
The construction of the castle was an ambitious undertaking. Towering turrets, intricate facades, and ornate details adorned the structure, creating an atmosphere straight out of a storybook. The castle was set to feature numerous attractions, including a medieval-themed village, a dragon's lair, and enchanting gardens. However, financial difficulties plagued the project, and it never fully realized its grand vision. The park's opening was delayed several times, and after a series of setbacks, including legal disputes and management problems, it eventually closed its doors indefinitely.
In recent years, efforts have emerged to revive the castle and restore its former glory. Various investors and developers have expressed interest in transforming the castle into a viable tourist destination once again. However, as of now, the future of the Fantasy World Castle remains uncertain.
The castle in Batangas stands as a poignant reminder of dreams unfulfilled and the transient nature of grandiose ambitions. It serves as a testament to the power of imagination and the fragile line between fantasy and reality, leaving visitors to ponder the stories that lie within its crumbling walls.

Fantasy World, Disneyland of the Philippines 🌸
When I was still young the only amusement/theme parks I knew that existed in the Philippines were Enchanted Kingdom and Star City. As soon as people heard the news about “Fantasy World”, it drew a lot of attention when people started calling it the “Disneyland of the Philippines”. It is only quite recently that it grew popular, but as a matter of fact, Fantasy World has been there since 2001.
📍 Located along Diokno Highway in Lemery, Batangas.
📍 How to get there?
Ride a bus going to Nasugbu, Batangas. Ask the conductor to drop you off at the “boundary”. Tickets cost only about 170 pesos each. (PHP 170)
From the boundary, ride a tricycle for 10 pesos. Ask the driver to take you to where you can take a Lemery-Boundary jeep. (PHP 10)
Ride a jeep and it will drop you off at the entrance of Fantasy World. (PHP 15)
And, if ever you are going to Fantasy World with a car. Just use WAZE and it will help you to get there.
⏰ Operating Hours: Open Daily from 8AM to 5PM.
💸 Entrance Fee: 100/PAX
📌 What to do?
Take a lots of photos
Climb to the top of the main tower
Cross the hanging bridge
📌 What to expect?
Appreciate seeing a medieval-themed palace, brilliant rides and different attractions, such as tree houses connected by a hanging bridge, and a tower where they can go and feel like Rapunzel.
It would appear that Fantasy World endeavored to be the Disney World of the Philippines and was intended to be the most excellent amusement park in the nation, however since its development was rarely completed, everything stayed only a dream.
There's a canteen which sold things you can brought from a convenience store. They also have rice meals and sausages inside. It's quite pricey but if you feel thirsty, you have no choice since food and drinks are not allowed inside.
✨ Review:
Many state that this spot is viewed as the Disneyland of the Philippines, yet actually, it is a long way from that. The spot is little. I genuinely figure the spot ought to be visited as a side outing, as after the family heard Sunday mass at Caleguera, or after a picnic trip in Tagaytay, as there isn't a lot to do and see here beside taking photographs. No big surprise this is one of the prevalent areas for pre-nuptial or birthday photoshoots.

My Little Wandering Feet
My Mommy always say that we only live once and take as much travel as you want. She says that in travelling, you can de-stress, you can rejuvenate your spirit and you can explore the wonders of the place, know its history and enjoy. Even if I was still a baby, my family will always tag me along in their adventures. My family likes the water so much and love to have staycation over the weekend so most of my travels are mainly swimming or checking in a hotel for an overnight of luxury and buffet breakfast. My mom always plan our trip. She would always have something in store for every occasion or holidays. We would go to theme parks like Dreamplay or Star City or Enchanted Kingdom. Sometimes she wanted it educational, so my wandering feet would take us to zoobic safari, Paradizoo or even the Manila Zoo. Sometimes we go to concerts like the Disney on Ice which we watched two years in a row or go to a Basketball game of our favorite team. But my most favorite travels are one with a pool or Sea!!!! we have traveled to Palawan, Puerto Galera and other resorts. My most favorite is when I experienced snorkelling in Anilao, Batangas where I got to see the school of fishes up-close. I hope my mom will plan more vacations with us. I’ll keep you posted on my travels soon!!!!!

Volume of passengers, cargoes in W. Visayas rising
#PHnews: Volume of passengers, cargoes in W. Visayas rising
BACOLOD CITY – The volume of passengers and cargoes moving in and out of Panay and Negros Islands has been steadily increasing with the further ease of restrictions amid the improving coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) situation in Western Visayas.
Frank Carbon, chief executive officer of the Metro Bacolod Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MBCCI), said on Monday the increase means the region’s economy is currently “on a roll”.
“(Better) movement of passengers and cargoes are generating thousands of jobs,” he said.
Daily fastcraft trips between cities of Bacolod and Iloilo have already resumed since Oct. 31.
Carbon also cited the recent launch of Starlite Venus, a roll-on, roll-off (roro) vessel directly connecting the ports of Bacolod and Iloilo to Batangas International Seaport.
Meanwhile, the MBCCI is also working with the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) in helping producers of white shrimps or vannamei boost their production to be able to supply the hotels and restaurants in Metro Manila.
Like sugar, swine and blue crab, the white shrimp industry contributes to the enlargement of the region’s economy and employment generation, Carbon said.
The business leader added the reopening of tourism sites such as Magikland, the first outdoor theme park in the Visayas, located in Silay City, Negros Occidental, is also attracting visitors from other islands.
Carbon urged businesses to reopen their establishments, reinvest, and start generating more jobs and livelihood.
He said the Development Bank of the Philippines and Land Bank of the Philippines and other financial institutions are now in discussion with the MBCCI on how to finance the economic recovery initiatives of the private sector in the region.
“This is a reflection of better days ahead,” Carbon added. (PNA)
