Continuing the N64 play em all project with the first [B] games now the first two are technically Banjo Kazooie and Tooie, but of course I have plaied those already, Banjo Tooie is my favorite game ever and I re-play it to 100% almost every year, I know Banjo Kazooie is everyone's favorite, and I do think it is a very strong 3D platformer on the 64, better than mario 64 even, but the quality of life changes from tooie make going back to it a bit of a pain sometimes hah, especially in versions where the "note score" resets if you die/leave a stage, but both are very good games I definitely recomment lol Anyway moving on to the games I plaied this week...

Basmaster 2000 is off to... a start lol just like the baseball game I feel like I have no idea what I am doing, but it is definitelly a bass fishing game of some sort, there are lots of lure options you can switch between and some line/tackle options too... and even tho they give me some tips what they are good for I just don't know lol I loved the ambiance tho, I got an overcast day and it looked pretty cool with some bird sounds in the bg too hah

next was Batman Beyound - Return of the Joker I actually thought this game was gonna be decent and I guess if I plaied it back in the day it might have entertained me a bit? But not the kind of game I'd want to rent again, it is all combat, with a little platforming (R is the jump button btw ???) and the combat is so janky dlkgshkld you have a punch and a kick and a defense and crouch buttons... you might have some extra stuff depending on the suit you are using... you get to choose what suit you wanna start the stage with and you unlock the other suits as options you can freely change between during the stage, and each has slightly different stats for defense/offense/movement and some extra move (they are all over the place) I played a few stages and then moved on... Also the for all those first stages is the same one, which is a super short loop, probably based on the animation ost I imagine...

I ALMOST never do non-guitar or amp-related posts. And I have literally NEVER done PINBALL MACHINE post! But I just got back from my tour of the @yorkville_sound factory with @marshalllespaulfan and this so cool and "Toronto" that I figured I'd make an exception! 😉

Dig this totally insane Rush pinball machine that Yorkville has set up in their @traynor_amps museum! It's a working pinball machine, and also a juke box blasting Rush's greatest hits all day long! I'd love to work in an office where Rush was blasting every day when I got in! "Begin the day with a friendly voice" as it were... 😉

In fact, there's a little "Rush corner" in the Traynor Museum which includes some very interesting pieces used by the band on the R40 tour...but those deserve a complete post of their own. I won't say "amps"...but very much *like* amps? I can't describe them...you'll just have to wait and see! 😂

I do want to say a huge thanks to James and Ashley from Yorkville Sound for hosting and showing us around the production facility and warehouse (where EVERY @gibsonguitar guitar sold in Canada passes through and is QC-ed before being shipped out!), and introducing us to so many Yorkville staff who could not have been more friendly and welcoming - including @oldcrowcustomguitars whom I have been following on Insta for literally years (PS: thanks for showing me my first PLEK machine!)

Everyone we talked to was super proud, positive, and happy to talk about the work they are doing here - manufacturing the highest quality amplifiers and speaker cabinets, right here in Canada. It was a super positive experience and great to see.
