so far the end of rho‘s story is she went missing after she uses sil’s soul（which she just rushed into the moonshadow and grab out）as a basestone and turn cwc into a tower, not a lot of ppl even realize it until at some point after she vanishes some apostles go on “wait a second…”

西部世界

如何能活得更真实一些？——也许答案在于去感受产出的快乐与痛苦。

在写毕业论文和看八卦之间再三犹豫后终于选择了点开西部世界最后一集。诗意画面中想象力的酣畅淋漓，让人开始质疑自己为什么不把时间花在这样更有价值和意义的事物上。

虽有人说题材并不新鲜，但这剧��我心中可以封神的原因有：一是叙事角度独特，是诺兰一贯的时间线多重交叉风格；二是剧情和主旨贴合，以机器人basestones设定，来从根本上质疑人类的本质，在两个种族之间的对立矛盾中又加以极为复杂的互相猜忌、信任、学习，以及各自同族间对抗的关系；三是画面过于精美，构想是中庸的天马行空，在贴近200年前西部世界历史原始感的同时又具备荒诞的未来感。

两季西部世界留下了很多问题：

如果机器人也有了自我意识，那么人类和机器人之间是否还存在本质上的区别？

——上帝照着自己捏出人类的样子，并把人类玩弄于鼓掌之间；但当人类照着自己捏出机器人时，人类能否像上帝那样独善其身隔岸观火？

人类的想象力恐怕都依据人类本身，哪怕神也像人。机器人本质上，也只是人的自画像罢了，到最后都是人类的自我斗争。

是否存在真正的自由意志（free will）？我们所做的一切选择，是否都只是出于程序设定（基因遗传）？

——The Forge System给老提洛设定了1800万次不同的情境，然而每一次都走向了和现实同样的结局：他头也不回的冷漠导致了其独子六个月后吸毒身亡。这使人开始反思，在抉择面前，我们做出的行为中到底有多少是出于基因所先决的性格使然？即便从头再来，人类是否依旧会做出同样的选择？

这样的基因先决论显然否定了人类后天的主观能动性，和“性格”某种程度上的灵活性。在管理员们、甚至后期是接待员（hosts）自己在给接待员调整程序设定时，一个疑问在我心头挥散不去：人的性格真的是如此容易数值化测量并捕捉的吗？“攻击性”的量化或许尚可说得过去，那么单单一个“反社会性人格”“敏感”“善良”等类似于“人设”或标签式粗暴概括的词语、和与之对应的模糊等级，可以充分反映人类每个个体本身的复杂性么？

也许这就是为何可以复制人类意识，但却在复制到复制体身上时从未成功的原因所在：人类过于复杂而难以概括。然而最后一集，System对Dolores说道：不成功的原因，在于我们把人类想得太复杂了，其实他们非常简单，写在书里只有一万多行的代码而已。此番言论又令人震动与疑惑。人类自己尚且难以认清自我，并且自我又因真实世界存在的过多种的机缘巧合和可能性，而时常做出具有波动性而难以预测的改变，固定的代码真的能够表现出绝非一成不变的人类个体吗？

或许没错，人体只是一台精致至极的机器，只是机械地运行着写在DNA里的各种程序，包括我们的意识本身，也是一种规定好的信息加工的方式。但对于人体来说，最重要的是平稳运营保持机体生存，而在生存之上最重要的，恐怕就是意识。影响选择的，除了基因所决定的行为模式以外，还包括作为人类身份的基石（basestones）和驱动力（drives）的记忆，后天的学习与改变，和每天所遭遇的不同的可能性所延展产生的无穷的可能性最终导致不同的境遇与心态。因此最后一个问题我持否定态度。

关于自由意志则一时难以下定论。据说人类每天90%的行为是出于无意识的习惯，那么在剩下的10%之中也足够我们发散大脑主动的学习和适应能力了罢。我如此安慰自己。

机器人优于人吗？

——机器人和人，就是虚假的永恒和短暂的真实互相羡慕的关系。

如果善（利他？）不利于生存，那么为何没有被进化淘汰？

——因为它自始至终是一种重要的社会共识。一个种族的存活率来看，善人被恶人统治的社会，和全员恶人互相残杀的社会，哪个存续时间更长？以及，善恶（利他和利己）是绝对的吗？

如何证明自己和自己所在的世界是真的？

——实际上，真或假有那么重要吗？

Last chance for tickets to celebrate best in construction

There are only a handful of tables left with just one week remaining to book your tickets for this year’s Construction Enquirer Awards.

The awards take place on Tuesday October 10 and will be hosted by TV architect George Clarke and top comedian Seann Walsh.

The event takes place alongside UK Construction Week in Birmingham.

The Top Ten winners were chosen after more than 10,000 votes were cast by the industry.

Being voted for by your peers makes an Enquirer Top Ten place a unique badge of honour – awarded to construction companies by construction people.

The industry has spoken and chosen its best places to work at and the best companies to do business with.

Winning contractors, clients and suppliers have been backed in their thousands by staff and their supply chains.

Tickets are now on sale for the event which is the perfect chance to say thank you to the staff and suppliers who have helped win these prizes.

Enquirer editor Aaron Morby said:“It will be great to see all the winners on the night and tables are booking up fast as firms rightly reward their staff with a top night out.”

A raft of big-name sponsors are already backing the awards.
