Barkjay

Barkjay - bulky brown tom with dark brown stripe and amber eyes

Barkjay is one of the adopted kits of Weeddealer (Thunderclan's medicine cat, in my AU).

Barkjay was always the loudest and most bold of his siblings, never backed down from defending them from cruel remarks of their clanmates. Later when those clanmates found themselves as Barkjay's sparring partner, they ended up with much less fur and quite sore.

Barkpaw's first day as thunderclan apprentice was his worst. His brother Stonepaw was taken by twolegs on his first border patrol.

Barkjay won't forgive himself for not being there to protect him nor will he let the anger in his heart shimmer down

Rubblestep

Rubblestep is one of Weeddealers adopted kits

Being one of the 3 kits adopted by Weeddealer, she had hard time trying to fit in whilst growing up. When she became an apprentice, she made up her mind to be a model warrior, helpful, reliable and thoughtful ~~a.k.a people-pleasing~~. Her first day as apprentice went wonderfully as she managed to kill a rat on first try. The glee and pride was overcome by horror and sadness when the news of her brothers kidnapping reached her.

As Warrior she has become tired of trying to impress and please others to no avail and prefers to be left alone to daydream. Some clanmates even joke she gained her Warrior name Rubblestep due to her turn to any conversation she stepped to rubble (Well out of her earshot or, Starclan forbit, her brother Barkjay's)

While Rubblestep appreciates her brothers will to defend her, she secretly blames Barkjay for making it harder for them to just fit in.
