Two things for this week cause I forgot to post this on Monday-

1. Theo Run Continuation against Pulse Tangrowth-

The flipping thing was terrible so I went to a different save I had, caught a Barewl, bred that Barewl with a Ditto, made it lay an egg, incubated the egg, put it in the box, shared PC'd it, then transferred it to Theo's save cause it was hopeless to hope it would turn out like Julia's battle, then I trained at the Opal Ward and used the candies on the Barewl, only to evolve it into Dearwl soon after-

Like... Tux was flipped from the beginning of this battle and I got yeeted a whole sh- ton...

Theo without his full team would be effed in Reborn from the first battle-

Especially with the Pulse Pokémon-

2. PIKMIN 4 IS IN (After today) 1 DAY EVERYONEEEEEEE!!!!! LET'S GOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!

Pokemon Uranium dump! From 2018-2019

Part 1/4

I started a Pokemon Uranium nuzlocke and I caught a shiny barewl in the first cave. It then immediately died and I’m so angry right now.

Incredibly dense metals make up BAREWL's body. They are much heavier than they look. They live in dark caves and feed on rocks and metal ore. 

Barewl is...some kinda creepy giggling chicken nugget?  With that curly bit on top I thought this was a bomb but nothing in its evolutionary line learns Self-Destruct or Explosion.  So I guess its just an inexplicable walking head.  The evolutions definitely surprised me, this one gets weird but in a cool way.

I’ve been playing pokemon uranium bc I was yearning for a new pokemon game and every single new design is either absolutely stellar or entirely incomprehensible

Unlike Maria, I got a description about receiving the badge outside of battle, though it’s a cute way to give you the badge! Have you find the gem and then when you win, Davern (whose name I kept getting wrong) makes it for you and gives it to you.

Anyways! What a struggle, geez. Arbor was basically the one who carried the entire battle with a little help from Jenning who took down the mole Pokemon. Although had I known what that mole Pokemon was, I would’ve made the battle against Barewl’s evolved form easier with him at full health and not worrying about his poor defenses... I’d box Arbor so I can focus on some of my other mons, but I want to keep him on my team just in case.

Also does Tonemy really evolve into this...? I wouldn’t have expected this. I mean like... I don’t know how to feel about this guys. I liked the little crown hair... I want to see that again.

....ok this game is very addicting.

I made it to the first gym, I haven’t attempted it yet, but yeah, it’s a fun game!

Bee’s told me that I got a good lineup so far!

I got uh....Barewl, Cubbug, the chipmunk one, my starter, and Tonemy.

.....I gave my guys nicknames soooo yeah

Alright! ☆Part 2 of the Theo Run!☆

So after training up Tux a bit and battling a few trainers, I decided to challenge Fern and...!

I fell face flat on the first try due to Fern having a Hisuian Sneasel instead of Budew in this mod-

(Yes, he has a Hisuian Sneasel in this mod, which makes him a bit difficult to fight, but at the same time, I am definitely up for that challenge. Same for some of the other trainers, they have different Pokémon, so it makes me deal with a bit more of a challenge, so I am up for it.)

So I went to train up Tux a little more and to buy some Potions because Theo's other Pokémon are located in Wards/Places after Peridot and not before Peridot. (For example, Barewl is located in the Beryl Ward.) [Hehe, Barewl in Beryl.]

After a bit more leveling up and training up Tux in the Alleys, I tried a few more times, and soon, I was able to defeat Fern with only Tux! Poison Touch was definitely a jerk, but Static helped Tux gain the upper hand with speed even though Sneasel used Fake Out! Also, a Super Potion definitely came in handy and an antidote to heal when he sent out Rowlet-

Then using Thunder Shock helped paralyze Rowlet to also give me the upper hand due to Rowlet having the Type Advantage, (almost) and it allowed Tux to be quick in his work with getting Rowlet out of the tree. (Or, in other words, knocking it out.)

And Sandile... You can see how it was dealt with-

Anyways, after dealing with Fern and finding out where Team Meteor was hiding out, (Mosswater Factory) we go there, and that's how the Barewl rolls. After meeting with Florinia and Julia due to Julia jumping in to blow up the door, we split up into two groups, Julia teams with Florinia and Theo with Fern.

Though, the battles were... not so difficult due to the amount of training I put Tux through-

After beating the grunts, getting the elevator code, getting trapped in an elevator, getting out of said elevator, then looking for some dynamite, then wasting a bit of the said dynamite as Florinia hacks into the door before it can go ☆*Ka-boom*☆ (even though the dynamite still went boom anyways but it was a small ka-boom.) We make it to Sirius and Ace, but we don't fight them cause Theo and Fern are both "small fries." No, instead, they fight Aster and Eclipse.

Which wasn't even difficult either cause Tux was a tough Hippocampus to crack, and he had two water moves-

We almost lost Fern's Sneasel, but luckily, before Rockruff could finish Sneasel off, Tux was easily able to finish the last Rockruff off with an Aqua Jet. (You're welcome, Fern. Ù.Ú)

The battle against Aster and Eclipse was very easy and even though, I decided to go train up Tux a little more after Team Meteor retreated and Julia blew up the entire place. Besides, who knows what a little more training could do for a Pokémon?

LLLLLLLLET’S GET READY TO NUZLOOO O O O C C C K  K  E

Uranium Nuzlocke Liveblog 2.1, part 1

So hhhEY there, friends, it’s been a while since the last Uranium liveblog.

MY BAD.

In fact, it’s been SO long that there’s since been a pretty major patch/update to the game (... somehow?), so I’ve decided to restart my save file YET AGAIN (SORRY) to take advantage of all the new features, including a much improved built-in Nuzlocke Mode.

To spare everyone the monotony of a third playthrough of the first 2 gyms, I’ve gone ahead and blazed through to where I left off in the 2.0 version.

Here’s the need-to-know highlights of this new journey so far:

We’re still rolling with Raptorch this time around. As you can see from his current summary screen, this time we’ve got a Quiet little guy named Drepan, which has an etymology that means “sickle”

Of course, before leaving Moki, there was the Chyinmunk-filled patch of grass. Marmotia, like her predecessor, is named after a genus of squirrels

Route 1 catch was a Birbie again--this time a female. Her name is Lapis because she’s blue and she has wings.

But Tyto!, you say, isn’t Lapis Lazuli’s personality--

Because she’s blue and she has wings

Route 2 catch was a Cubbug. I named him Nugget after the tumblr-famous nonbinary butterfly Chicken Nugget

Cubblfly is much less cute than Cubbug. Just sayin

Passage Cave catch was another Tonemy (I am destined to never have a Barewl or Grozard, ever)

Named Amethyst because she’s small, happy, lives in a cave, and can transform into a totally different looking creature that eats things with a huge mouth

(Only afterward did I realized that this was the second SU character I’d referenced in this playthrough lol)

Aaaand THIS was the point we faced the first gym leader.

...It was no problem :V

Although I will point out that apparently male Felunge have manes! Gender differences, woo

So then more plot stuff, you know how it goes, etc

Route 3 catch was a male Smore. Real useful when I’ve already got a Fire-type AND a Bug-type (AND a Poison-type) on the team.

His name is Grank, after the legendary collier in Guardians of Ga’Hoole

As always, we went to Route 4 before hitting the second gym.

Route 4 catch was a Pahar.

I named her Coral because RED ON YELLOW, KILL A FELLOW

Now with THREE FIRE-TYPES to choose from, I switched Coral in for Grank

Anyway, next we all hunkered down for a long training session before taking on Davern

And tHEN

*sobbing* SURPRISE, I DOCTORED HER INTRO SCREENSHOT

So Grank got a chance to join the party again

Everybody got trained up and we destroyed the second gym without a sweat.

We proceeded onward, to *dun dun DUN*.... Comet Cave

First encounter was... two Tonemy. Second encounter:

UGH. Have I mentioned I don’t like Dunsparce? I know it has a tough Dragon-type evolution in this game but still

Anyway, c’mon Theo, help me get rid of this Tonemy so I can--

Comet Cave continues to be a nightmarish hellhole with no purpose other than to make my life agony

On the bright side(?), I caught the Dunsparce.

I named him Drakken in honor of the Kim Possible asks I am suddenly getting a lot of. Because he’s... half blue. And also a VILLAIN

I faced my archenemy Terlard with trepidation, choosing Lapis as my champion because at least she could resist its Magnitude

To start us off, let’s catch a new Pokemon on Route 5 (since I skipped over it to get to the Rochfale Pokecenter)

Okay, well, hopefully this is a decent, if quick, introduction to the new save file. Sorry agAIN for the restart but hopefully it’ll be worth the wait

Wow, look at THAT.  Gararewl is such a weird beast.  Its proportions are weird, its concept is weird, its whole evolutionary line is weird.  It’s fantastic.  This is the alien overlord of horses.  It’s like a unicorn spaceship.  This should be on an album cover, or airbrushed onto a van.
