rideoutl: Very excited to say @bangerfilms new documentary series “This is Pop!” (trailer in story) is finally coming to your screens! 8 unique films, 70 years of Pop music. 🎶 The film I directed, What Can A Song Do? looks at the complex connection between protest and music, asking can a song really change anything? 🎼

A year, err two years in the making, it features interviews and songs by Chuck D (Public Enemy), Hozier, A Tribe Called Red, Milck, Allison Wolfe (Riot Grrrl), Billy Bragg, Arlo Guthrie and Billie Holiday.

#MondayMotivation Just noticed I surpassed 250K streams on Spotify. 🙏🏽 Been self reflecting a lot since my 37th birthday that this has been the most challenging yet exciting year of my life. Made many sacrifices this year to keep moving fotward with my dreams of becoming a full time musician. Had to make some very difficult life altering decisions but think it's worth it. Perhaps last month was the biggest change this year but August IS the month of Astaroth (as per demonology) so figured hey why not take a leap of faith. When you give up or lose things in life, you make room for new things to come into your life. So I did just that this year. Despite the loses, the beautiful new experiences I got to have and am making space for further opportunities are every bit worth it. So I will share my August accomplishments with y'all. Maybe it'll help motivate you in your tough days. 👿 I won the fan voted opening slot to open for @thisisaestheticperfection 👿 Finished writing a crazy new song with @brianspencer302 with an awesome feature from @sinizter_ 👿 Shot a performance video for a duet cover I am releasing soon with @codyjohnstoneofficial and @theinfernodoll 👿 Shot a music video with @senpaimediacanada for my next song that'll drop at the end of September 👿 Recorded harsh vocal guide video lessons for my students @bellamagicspells and @melodic_lex (DM if you need a lesson) 👿 Wrote vocals and lyrics for 2 new commissioned vocal features for @swipe_right_ca and @j9grooves (DM if you want a feature or want to collab) 👿 Wrote and reviewed the new @amonamarth album for @bangerfilms 👿 Perhaps the most life changing experience, I got to take the first real vacation of my life and go visit UK. So never give up on your dreams. Give up on everything else if you have to, but never give up on yourself spawns. Picked these up in a local record store in NYC. Records were a little pricey, but these were in my price range and i knew i needed them. #SuperDuperAliceCooper was awesome, #BangerFilms always does good work. I've heard the audio to #Megadeth #CountdownToExtinctionLive and i knew i need the footage. And you can never go wrong with #Dio. (at Generation Records)
