I'm so thankful to have badass friends, my homeboy @iamtheshark223 printed my dedan head for me except my bumbass scaled it too small which was a fault on my end oof anywhere here's the time-lapse of his top jaw print sense it won't let me put both vids

Got the triad printed out. I started doing the Rose in white, but due to problems I kept running into, I ran out of filament and haven't gotten more to finish it. There are a few issues with the Lumina and I had to get in touch with the modeler to fix some of the issues. I'm printing out Lumina V2 in hopes of some of issues being resolved.

We've released a new articulated toy - Labrador Retriever. The dog has better looking legs thanks to a new joint there and the new head attachment system that works! The Lab is available as STL and 3MF files for 3d printers on Cults3d, Creality Cloud, Patreon and My Mini Factory (we're going to start selling files there in March-April 2024). But if you don't have printer and don't know where you can print it, you can get already print of the dog from our partners (we're going to create a list of them in March and then we'll publish it) We hope you'll like it!

Happy Flexi pets is our other project where we create articulated toys, figurines, magnets, keychains and other things for home 3d printing. There is no shipping, customs and waiting when the toy arrives. You just need to buy a file of the design and print it at home! You can see more our designs on Instragram

Did y’all know there are programs that will let you just sculpt digital clay and you can make whatever you want (that will print on a printer). Like a cow that lives in a milk carton and carries a cookie 🐮🍪

I printed a copy of the Eamons gas station model. There are some mistakes with some window frames not being watertight, and the sculptural top really should be a separate model. There are excessive supports for an all-in-one model, but not as many as if I included the roof. I am still learning how to design these models for printing but shall get better.

Iteration, exploration and testing is key.

Cyan Figurine 💙

OC avatar turned to a figurine, as a birthday present to one of my best friends!

This was so far the most ambitious and complex undertaking of my figurine journey yet, with 25 individual pieces. Even if I knew I'd glue everything together, like on the head, I still printed everything in such small pieces just to make it easier to paint and handle. All the pieces had a hard edge they connected with anyway, so joining them didn't require any blending in the end.

All the bigger pieces were printed with a 0.4mm nozzle just to save time, since treating larger areas is easier to do anyway. Only for the smallest pieces like the face, frills, bows and glasses I switched to a 0.2mm nozzle.

For the larger layer lines, gloss is truly magical at covering all the imperfections, and I can easily pronounce back any details that were lost in the print. Here I just pressed the perfectly sized nozzle of a large plastic syringe on the buttons to easily 'pop' them back out. I'd imagine a texture rolling pin would work wonders just the same!

Painting was just hours of back and forth between all the pieces when building the base paint layers, and longest session was at least 9h of just sitting there while watching YT haha. The cheap quality of the paints really started to show after three layers, when it started to clump up but everything still wasn't covered evenly...

In the beginning most the time went to just waiting for the green stuff and gloss to dry properly, but then it was full blast ahead, and in total, the figurine took over 3 weeks to finish, even after having to rush it near the end!

But you only learn by doing it, and I'm proud to have jumped into the deep end!
