I combined my fist painting with a second on and I like it much better now! My kiddo took the original photos of the oriole dancing!

I looked cute today. I went out today. First full day of my detox from IG, Facebook, and Twitter. I had a little wine even though I'm supposed to be abstaining. I decided to have a little treat for being on track this week with work and personal goals. I can't get "wop, wop, wop, wop, wop Dot fuck'em up" out of my head." Last day of work for the week tomorrow, I'm going to settle down soon and get some rest. I did have fun while I was out. It's nice to step out into a city where you are alone but never really alone. I always see a familiar face. I think I will let this qualify as a journal entry. I'll write in the morning. This is the clearest I've been in so long. It's an amazing feeling.

Baltimore Artists Against Apartheid is looking for entries to create a community art book that documents and extends the vision of the We Will Be What We Want to Be exhibition. Create art that responds to the pieces in this project in support of the people of Palestine and submit it to bit.ly/communityartbook for curation by September 22, 2024! Submissions will be curated for a hand-stitching workshop on Sunday, October 6th at NoMüNoMü art gallery.

You do not have to be based in Baltimore to enter — any works inspired by or related to the above visual art and poetry are welcome. Submission details are located on the last slide.
