Neapolitan Lace
Neapolitan Lace stitch pattern from the January 1884 issue of Ballou’s Monthly Magazine. It’s reversible! I found the magazine on Google Books a few years ago, but The Weekly Stitch also blogged the stitch pattern on March 31, 2023.

Tunisian Lace
The Ladies' Own Page. Ballou's Monthly Magazine, vol. 59 no. 2, February 1884, p. 188
Wide Tunisian Lace. It's really just Neapolitan Lace from the January issue with repeats of the central diamond motif.
Following 139 year old knitting instructions is half the fun. In the 21st century, this:
Knit three, over, knit one, over, slip one, narrow, throw over the slipped stitch, over, knit five, over, slip one, narrow, throw over the slipped stitch, over, knit five, over, slip one, narrow, throw over the slipped stitch, over, knit four, over, narrow, knit one.
becomes this:
K3, yo, k1, (yo, sk2p, yo, k5) 2 times, yo, sk2p, yo, k4, yo, k2tog, k1.
