It’s the way Evanora Harkness, mother of a coven, believes her own daughter to be born evil, refused to understand and help her learn more of what makes her different, tied Agatha to a stake, sees her as a monster, eventually dying by the hands of the person she refused to save. Her legacy runs in Agatha’s veins, her cruelty used as a shield by the child she had forsaken.

It’s the way Wanda Maximoff, the Scarlet Witch, with all the power she can have wants nothing more than to be with her kids, willing to tear the cosmos apart just for a chance to be called mom again, learned to let go of what she wants to hold the most, “died” for trying to reach the boys she knows she lost. Her legacy lives in Billy (who may be Teen), who is willing to walk the most treacherous of roads, ready to face the trials with the most infamous witch of all time, brave enough to try and take advantage of her and her coven, just to reach out to an unnamed mother who is calling for him from the beyond, just to connect to someone who may not be there anymore.

god, the agatha through time version of the ballad of the witches’ road is absolutely haunting. it begins so delicately, with the soft strains of a violin—pure, almost innocent, like nicky’s version, laced with a playful, tentative energy. but as the melody deepens, there’s a shift, a subtle seduction woven into the notes, like a spider’s silk drawing its prey ever closer. as the tempo intensifies, you can feel agatha slipping further into her own power, each beat a pulse of growing confidence, a thrill in every breath of magic she drains from the others. then, at the crescendo, there’s this chilling transformation—she’s utterly consumed, her desire, her hunger spilling over, ecstatic, terrifying, as she loses herself to the dark allure of it all. christophe beck and michael paraskevas you are insane.

Coming back in posts I made predictions and such on.

In this one I predicted there WAS a witches road and the COVEN actually opened the road, but alas, that was not the case so in that I and many others were wrong.

I also couldn't make up my mind on whether or not Agatha had actually ever been on the road or not. Turns out it was the biggest serial killing scam in history.

Agatha was just as shocked as everyone else when the door appeared in the floor, but it didn't take her long to connect the dots and BAM, another Maximoff has manifested their grief and emptiness.

But I was right about Billy being the actual Green Witch for the coven and not Sharon or Rio, they were never actually part of the coven.

Sharon was only a stand in and Rio came during the summoning spell that didn't actually summon anyone or anything.

I was completely wrong in my summation that Billy did not create the road...but he did...and I'm still coming to grips with that and it's mainly why I haven't been able to finish my reactions posts. It was a bit of a let down that it wasn't real and made real by Billy only. So it might take me some time to work through that. I don't hate it I just REALLY didn't want Billy to be responsible it was an old trope done by Wanda in WandaVision, the making of another pocket reality.

lilia and alice both got they wanted out of the Road without even realizing that’s the thing they were looking for and so their journeys came to an end. as the song says “i’ll see you at the end” i hope we see them at the end cause i miss my girls

I am amazed and in awe that in Lorna Wu's version of The Ballad of the Witches' Road there are lines in the lyrics that describe each of Agatha's coven.
