She couldnt afford her apartament anymore, so she move in again with her mother, who was happy to help. But seeing her daughter burning herself out and losing hope in love, she decided to take a risk and sign Melissa up. If she wins and get a new love and a stable financial life? Awesome! If not, at least she get the chance to take her mind out of her problems, enjoy some luxury and make new friends (maybe she can even be in charge of the wedding's bouquet and flowers?)

Dating Deanna Entry: Nicola Moody-McMillan for @changingplumbob

Hey everyone! I've never done anything like this before so I don't know exactly how to introduce myself. But I'm a schoolteacher in Henford-on-Bagley, the same small town where I was born and raised.

I'm currently living in my childhood home in the Bramblewood with my mother, Kim, and my younger brother, Dominic. Our relationship is pretty good even though my mom can be a bit of a problem at parties, but I'm a family-oriented sim! My mother and brother mean the world to me, and we've been especially close since my dad passed away not that long ago.

Apart from my job, which I love, I like doing Henford things - offering favours to people in need, cross-stitching, gardening, and talking to birds! I haven't really travelled much, but I'm ready to get out of my comfort zone!

I think. I really love comfort, and I've heard these bachelor shows can get a little wild. My friends said not to worry about my manicure - but honestly, I'll probably always worry about my manicure.

The big elephant in the room is my marital status - divorced. At 24! I married my high school sweetheart but she turned out to be less sweetheart, more heartless...sorry, that's a boring story! We grew apart.

Some days it feels like we divorced just yesterday. But some time has passed, I really believe in counseling, and I'm ready to try dating for, really, the first time in my life. That's kind of embarrassing to say out loud!

My friends said don't be negative. But some days can feel like the worst day ever, you know? Maybe you don't know. I don't know. I'm not always great at first impressions and I can be a little high maintenance, but I'm excited about this experience!

I can't wait to meet Deanna. Joey can flirt with me if he wants, but I'm a high maintenance lesbian who wants a family, so he'd be wasting a good line on the wrong gal! Even though I can be a pretty competitive teacher on School Sports Days, I'm really looking forward to getting to know the other contestants, too. People who don't know Hazel. Who isn't important.

Nicola Kimberly Moody-McMillan (she/her), daughter of Henford townie Kim Goldbloom, and granddaughter of townies Ian McMillan and Derek Moody, who adopted Kim. Nicola's father was a very blond randomly-generated sim named Eddie Harmon (RIP!). She has a younger brother named Dominic.

She's grown up from a wee sprite in my Sims In Bloom legacy challenge as a best friend and then girlfriend/later wife of my Gen 2 heir's little sister (until it all fell apart).

Nicola is a cis lesbian who is exclusively attracted to women, both romantically and sexually. She is a monogamous sim, but Henford is a small town. Whether her interests include non-binary or trans women remains to be discovered, actually.

Goes By: Miss Moody-McMillan (in class), Nicola, Nic, but not Nicki Hometown: Henford-on-Bagley Traits: High Maintenance, Family Oriented, Good (originally she had one of @maplebellsmods's More Traits - Spoiled - in addition to the last two, and I figured High Maintenance was closest to that one). She had a fourth bonus trait, Childish, which I lost when I switched out Spoiled, but feel free to add it back in for the sake of keeping her canon if you have the extra slots! Fears Being Cheated On (I think this should carry over into the Gallery-saved version but I'm actually not sure...) Likes: Bowling, Gardening, Handiness, Research & Debate, Cross-Stitch, Fitness, Wellness, Physical Intimacy, Flirtation, Deep Thoughts, Compliments, Stories, Small Talk, Discussing Interests, Discussing Hobbies, and has a more upbeat, poppy, or catchy singer-songwriter driven music taste Dislikes: Dancing, Fishing, Programming, Arguments (they make her feel bad even though she can be combative), Deception Favourite Colours: Blue, Grey, Purple, White

Open to flirt/get intimate with other contestants? She's there for Deanna and to build a future with her, but she's also spreading her wings for the first time so yes.

Open to polyamory? As much as marriage sucked for Nicola the first time around, she still believes in soulmates and true love and monogamous commitment.

Open to woohoo? She would be if it feels right.

Doesn't vibe with pessimistic, argumentative, and ambitionless sims. And yes, with her traits and Henford origins she's definitely grown up to be a little fairytale princess-coded. Maybe she's a little like The Princess and the Pea, so we'll see how she does with the challenges and her high maintenance mood swings.

cc used? The submitted version of Nicola has EA eyebrows in a shade darker than her hair colour, but normally she has TwistedCat's Lush eyebrows which are Maxis-friendly. Even though they look darker on her, they're the same shade of blonde as her hair. Most of the above photos were taken with her new eyebrows, except the portrait with her mother and brother, which shows her OG cc brows.

The moment she turned 18 Ashley packed her things and moved to San Sequoia. Starting a new life in the city where no one knew about her wasn't hard, but now when everything in her life is stable, she can finally acknowledge that deep down there were always a feeling as if something was missing. Ashley dreamed about meeting her soulmate and having a family of her own. So maybe, that's it? Maybe Arvin will be the one for her? She won't know if she wouldn't try...

Born and raised in the suburbs of Brindleton Bay, she knew she always wanted to be an architect. Despite coming from a family full of lawyers and doctors, her father fully supported her. Her mom..? ehh not so much... She moved to Britechester, earning a degree in architecture. She now owns an architectural business, which she loves and cherishes deeply. That said, she can be very snobbish if something isn't to her taste. She is not afraid to voice it. She is however very empathetic and generous. Her mother was very disappointed in her career choice and even more that she hasn't gotten married yet. Francesca never really thought of marriage after her first failed engagement. She has temporarily handed the title of CEO to her right hand woman in order to try her luck at winning Arvin's heart... and securing the bag. If not, well she hopes to make friends, and eventually be a bridesmaid for one of the lucky girls.

Likes: R&B, walks in the park, art, fitness, architecture, a nice composed song, blue, gray, comedy.

You could spot Fiorella arguing with almost every female crossing her path

I laughed as this is all I saw, but I know she was just beating up this girl

She even ended up her friendly meeting with Norton to go "talk" to this passenger.

Of course, her being enemies with Catherine was fun to watch whenever they were at the same place more than 2 seconds

Funny enough it was all just staring at each other with anger, I never saw them talking

Catherine was very...intense. This poor lady was just talking to Norton, and she autonomously slapped her and beat her up 👀

Also, on her first day on board the cruise captain drowned in his private pool and she was so happy (I didn't save)

Pretty sure she killed that one girl at the bar !

... and she killed Norton as he was joining Fiorella for their friendly meeting 😂 (I didn't save)

To finish, one night Fiorella appeared out of nowhere to watch Norton sleep, c-r-e-e-p-y. Let's say she got the wrong cabin haha

After revealing the winning contestant to Asher, here is what he had to say:

Asher: I had high hopes for Eloise. I feel like we really hit it off when we first met. Though I had pretty good compatibility with the others, I felt very drawn to her. It also kinda helps that she has a tremendous love for animals. I think my biggest goal besides finding a soulmate, was to find someone who loves Tulip as much as I do; and I think El is the perfect match for the both of us.

Interviewer: El? You've created a nickname for her already?

Asher: *chuckles* How could I not? I feel like I've grown pretty close to her to call her by a nickname, y'know.

Interviewer: Well, now that Eloise has been declared the winner, when are you going to propose?

Asher: *smiles* I plan on proposing to her as soon as we land in Tartosa. There’s a beautiful beach there, and I decided to have everything, including dinner, set up there.

Interviewer: Dinner? *giggles* You don't strike me as the cooking type.

Asher: Haha, very funny. Yes, unfortunately, I never learned to cook. My dad was always away and my mom passed during childbirth. It helps knowing my soon to be fiance will be able to help me out with that *laughs*

Interviewer: How do you feel about being married and sharing your space with someone else?

Asher: I'm a little nervous, but also excited. I've spent most of my life alone, so it's all I'm used to. I feel like a change in environment and lifestyle would be the perfect chance for a new start in life. Yes, I know I have Tulip, but she's too big to cuddle with *laughs*. The loneliness gets suffocating, but I feel like Eloise is my opportunity to finally breathe.

This one goes out to all those period drama loving people like myself. I will be taking 5 Sims only, you are free to reserve a spot, for a mini dramatic bc. I will be using mods but every interaction is gameplay based and each Sim chosen will end up with a respective partner. There's going to be love, drama, and everything in between.

Catherine (Cat) has been sent to live in Henford for the cold season with her two closest siblings Marianne and Dominic.

Maxis match hair ONLY, any other cc is fine (I'm Maxis Mix)

No sliders, presets are ok but might look distorted, and eyes either need to be facepaint or in the skin detail/occult eye (NSB has some eyes in that category!)

1-2 everyday outfits, 1-2 formal (one town ball, other big fancy ball), 1-2 cold outfits only are needed

Whatever the reason, BACKPACKING ACROSS SIMNATION promises to bring together total strangers in rudimentary accommodations, where we all are forced to face the harsh yet freeing simplicity of camping.

A New Contestant Stands Before the Ranch

Let me introduce you to Albane, the contestant I created for @snderist 's bachelor challenge.

Left blind after a gardening accident, Albane was left to struggle with a low self-esteem and an instable future. Managing to stay strong and continue her career as a caterer, she is now searching for the one that will accept her whole... even if a piece of her is now missing.

I hope she'll get a chance to be in the contest !

As soon as she could remeber, Albane was always gifted for gardenning. Since her early childhood years, the young girl spent countless hours in the garden of the house she shared with her family, observing and tending to the flowers. This passion for gardening was passed down to her by her mother, Simone, a rather well known botanist that tought her how to take care of the many flowers that populated her garden. But one particular plant would change Albane's destiny forever. When her daughter reached thé age of fourteen, Simone thought that she could safly introduce Albane to the cowplant in the back of the garden. Sadly, things did not go as planned. When it saw the young girl approch, the cowplant lost it's calm and attacked, leaving the girl dangerously injured. After being urgently taken into the nearest hospital, Albane woke up after multiple surgeries to be greeted by the voices of her relatives through complete, pure and frightening darkness. The accident had left her blinded and without any hope of being able to see again. Albane had to learn everything again, from walking to doing basic tasks. Gardening wasn't impossible to adapt to her blindness, but it took a painfully long time. Left wondering how to live her life with such a burden, Albane didn't really consider possible things such as dating. Her blindness often tried the patience of anyone outside of her family, so much so that her everyday job had bean a miracle to get. How could someone bare it enough to date her. But an anoucement she heard on the radio changed her mind. A dating show? She had Heard about some in the past, but never thought about it seriously. Maybe it would be a good introduction to dating. As the anoucement ended, she picked up her phone and registered. Sure, she wasn't really experienced in that domaine, but, like her mother said, better late than never.

When her mother described to her a picture of Asher, something inside of seemed to awake, something that she had never felt before. A rancher ? She dreamed many times of having someone close to nature for herself. Could he be the one ? She was willing to fight for it, even if it meant changing.
