While I appreciated the range and depth of voices represented in To My Trans Sisters, some of them I just went “bwahuh?”

One sister - an activist - kinda railed against both “liberals” and gay rights advocates because, she argued, both groups went out of their way to either limit or block or not support pro-trans measures or ideas and then went on about how trans individuals need to not rely on others but also should work with whomever (like Mormons, which was one I remember standing out).

It was very odd. A few times it was like seeing a tumblr post.
