Have you ever wanted to draw something but you fought due to your skill level at the time you decide not to do it

I dont think Ive ever given up on drawing smtng cuz I didnt have the skill level tbh............ 🤔

There are many wips I still need to get done with, but not cuz I dont think Im good enough, and yes cuz its a lot of work to do IUASDNJAMKSD I TEND TO GET A LIL TOO AMBITIOUS WITH WHAT I DRAW-

Honestly ever since I learned to accept the mindset of "this may look like trash now but its fine, Ill just redraw it in the future, at least get this out of my system" my art has gotten much better and enjoyable to my eyes!

Perfectionism be damned, as long as I get to illustrate my ideas through Im fine 😌

27. What causes them to feel dread? 

being alive is too easy of an answer so instead I would say seeing his friends happy. not because he doesnt want them to. but because he doesnt see himself as a part of that. his friends are happy not because of him but despite him. even when he is the cause of said happiness. he cannot comprehend that anyone could want him around genuinely. he thinks theres always another motive for talking to him. he does want to be a part of their happiness. he just. stops himself from doing so lest he ruins it. he doesnt wanna ruin others good days since lifes hard enough as is. it makes him sad though. knowing he doesnt belong anywhere anymore. knowing hes alone. the loneliness I suppose simply gets to him. (NOT THAT ITS TRUE THAT HES ALONE he just often makes himself think he is cuz hes stupid)

38. What memory do they revisit the most often? 

The day he got married. Sam and finlay didnt have a big traditional wedding they were surprisingly private. they simply brought their parents to the signing and they had a lovely dinner with a small part of their family. but thats not what made it special. it was when after dinner everyone went home and it was just him and samantha. the way they talked that night. they started planning their honeymoon travels. they had the fancy expensive wines and they just spend time together. he still loves her. so very much. and the sad part is that sam still loves him too. their breakup had never been bad. it just... was inevitable with the choices finlay made in life. sam was so very right for it. but god. does he miss her.

41. How do they feel about children? 

I have already answered this one but Ill yap some more! Finlay would looove to start another book club at the library to read books to kids cuz its a less common thing for parents to do nowadays. but he thinks its important. and god. he does kinda miss teaching the younguns. he didnt used to but now looking back yeah it was good to get to class and a kid just hands you a drawing of you as a stick figure with the sun in a field with a tree. he doesnt have these drawings anymore but he used to keep em on the fridge. he misses it! misses teaching! misses being around people. misses seeing the lights in kids their eyes when you tell em a cool story about dragons. he misses the ways teens can open up to you and the way you can talk to them when they need guidance and the way they appreciate that. he misses learning from his students how to do all the cool hand shakes. he wouldve be an awesome dad if it wasnt for the whole insane hunter bs he has going on now.
