Fourth generation: BMW M3 E90 / E92 / E93
I was looking for new car but i didn’t find any trustable dealer,Then I find bmw car dealership near me in west springfield.bmw car dealership which is most trustable and give me good customer services. This generation was filled with upgrades that resulted in a better, faster and more efficient vehicle. This was clearly demonstrated by an aggressively customized V-8 engine and an output of 414 horsepower. The transformation also featured a complete overhaul of the exterior body styling as well as a rest of the interior.
The conceptual model for this new design was unveiled in spring 2007 at the Geneva International Motor Show. Six months later, the official production version was presented at the Frankfurt International Motor Show.
With this latest M3 range, new paint colors, manually adjustable front seats with heating options, a new design of LED taillights with light strips, and more.
Five notable innovations of this generation include: the first of the BMW M dual-clutch transmission, resulting in a smooth power flow; Improved power to the 90 degree V8 engine, making it a more powerful and lighter engine; the introduction of the “A” engine automatic start / stop function, which reduced fuel consumption; the addition of the POWER button; and an optional ZCP competition pack.
Special limited editions of these models were also presented.
 The F80 generation
With the M3 badge remaining only on the sedan, the F80 / F82 also lost some weight. it was presented from 2014 to 2018 with an inline six engine and is considered a monster filled with torque. Powerful and complete with a competition pack, this model also featured a new exhaust, revised tuning, suspension upgrades and new front seats.
Special editions were released, including an M3 CS with an upgraded engine and a Motorsport, before ceasing production in 2018.
  The future….
What's next for the incredible M3? BMW has announced that the new M3, dubbed the G80, is expected to start sales in 2021 and will debut with an S58 turbocharged inline-six engine. High performance sedan par excellence - G-POWER G5M HURRICANE RS. Orange has always been the characteristic color in the corporate identity concept of the brand G-POWER. No wonder, after all, she is considered stimulating and demanding for performance in psychology. Plus orange is a warning color. In other words, just the right associations for G-POWER are emerging. Finally, since 1983, the brand has stood for outstanding performance modifications of BMW and M-Top models. So the orange in this case is clear: ′′ Warning, there's power in here!" The G5M HURRICANE RS penetrates into those regions on the basis of the BMW M5 F 90 and provides 840 hp and 1050 Nm. G-POWER realizes the addition by combining the performance software GP-840 with more powerful upgrade turbochargers. These are connected to sports catalysts and a G-POWER exhaust system. For optical refinement, the G5M HURRICANE RS receives the in-house HURRICANE forged wheels in 21-inch. Added to that the vehicle foil in HURRICANE Orange Metallic to warn the competition from afar, and the GP-VENTURI hood made of carbon. #m8gc #m5e60 #g20s #g02 #bimmerlove #bmwf90 #f87m2competition #f80m3competitionpackage #e70club #s58 #s55amg #amggt m156engine #dmv #m157 #f92m8 #f93 #f82m #f82bmw #f82m4gts #f82m3 #f82m4cs#bmwf91 #bimmerworld #bimmernation #bimmerposts #bmwf92m8compétitition #bimmerinsta #bimmerlife #bimmerparty More info: www.g-power.com (at Maryland) https://www.instagram.com/p/CJBifwvp75r/?igshid=1r7hxhwlewp7e

Alpina B3 Touring 2020 UK review
Its maker would probably tell youthe B3 Touringis the only car you're ever likely to need.In fairness, this isn't the most outrageous claim you're ever likely to hear. The newAlpinaB3 Touring represents a thorough going-over of the already impressiveBMW M340i Touring , though even this description sells it somewhat short.Alpina's aim is to create somethingjust as quick as an M3in the real world but with appreciably better road manners and easier drivability, not to mention far less aggravated looks. Obviously something has to give, and in the case of the B3, that something is track-day aptitude – the hard edge of control and anger that M-division wares need to have. But when was the last time you took your estate car for some hard laps? The B3 – both in Touringand saloon forms– is unashamedly set up for the road, and while Alpina does some fine-tuning work at the Nürburgring (ABS tuning etc), LAUNCH CRP909X. it mainly tests on German country routes. And of course the autobahn, where its fastest conversions now top 200mph.The modifications for the B3 include altered suspension geometry for more natural steering feel and stability at very high speeds. There's also upgraded brakes, Alpina's unmissable wheel-and-tyre package, some aero addenda, and specific tuning for the rear limited-slip differential and the division of drive between the front and rear axles. That's right: the B3 now comes only with four-wheel drive, which might disappoint some, though the truth is that rear-wheel drive isn't so popular among owners of these ‘everyday supercars', especially in Alpina's home market. There's also the small matter of stability and traction, not least because of what now lurks in the car's engine bay. This is the first time the B3 has ever used an adapted version of an M-division engine instead of the ‘ordinary' six-cylinder found inmore commonplace 3 Series derivatives . The S58, whichserves in the X3Mand willsoon appear in the M4 and M4 , takes the form of a 2993cc twin-turbo unit, though Alpina fits its own turbine housings and comprehensively beefs up the cooling apparatus. The result is 456bhp and 516lb ft – the latter being the reason why the car's eight-speed ZF gearbox and driveshafts have been reinforced. By comparison, the M3 Competition that we'll get here in the UK makes 503bhp but only 469lb ft, and so the two cars have an identical 0-62mph time of 3.8sec.Two things quickly become clear. The first is that, while BMW has given Alpina an unusually good base to work from, the B3 Touring is extraordinarily well-rounded.Take it as read that the 3 Series Touring now feels ideally sized for fast family-car duties. There's plenty of space inside and you get a real sense of maturity on the move, but the car avoids the occasional awkwardness that comes with driving something as large as the 5 Series Touring – orAlpina's V8-engined B5 Touring– through towns and along B-roads.Compared with the M340i, what the Alpina then gives the driver is, simultaneously, a more connected feeling with the road and, in the unique Comfort Plus damper setting, the ability to tread and move more fluidly over all but the roughest surfaces. It's an extremely neat trick, even if this car's optional 20in Alpina Classic wheels and 30-section sidewalls can still generate a slight fidget and are marginally noisier than you might expect (though these are well within acceptable levels for something of this performance potential). In short, in normal driving, the B3 covers ground in more satisfying fashion than the M340i, and indeed its esteemed rivals fromAudiandMercedes .The second thing is the mad adaptability of the car's temperament. The previous-generation B3 and its B4 coupé sibling had a tendency to step off the mark quite abruptly and the torque delivery thereafter was, in a word, boosty. This new car seems considerably more deft when you're just mulching around with the engine below 2500rpm, which is when the performance really starts to kick in. The powertrain is softly but muscularly responsive, the steering well geared and weighted, and the whole show just very easy and comfortable to live with. Sinking in...

New 500bhp BMW M4 seen for first time in cabriolet form BMWs upcoming M4 has been spotted in disguise in convertible form ahead of its release next year. The new generation of Munich's Mercedes-AMG C63 Cabriolet rival can be seen to sport more athletic body proportions, afforded by the adoption of a new fabric roof. Replacing the heavy and bulky folding metal hard top arrangement, the fabric top allows better interior packaging, a shorter rear deck and, we expect, a significant weight reduction. Differences between this and the standard 2020 4 Series are familiar, with the return of the blistered wheelarches, bigger intakes and quad exhaust tailpipes.  We already know that the next-generation BMW M3 and M4 due in 2020 will receive a significantly upgraded six-cylinder engine capable of more than 500bhp in its top form.  The flagship model to use this new engine will be a new M4 Gran Coupé (imagined by Autocar above), the first time the four-door coupé has featured a full-fat M variant. The coupe and cabriolet will also return beside the M3 saloon.  The 3.0-litre powerplant, which carries the internal codename S58, is a development of the firm’s standard B58 unit, as used in the existing 440i and other BMW models.  But as M division officials have revealed to Autocar, “it is for all intents and purposes an all-new drivetrain with significant changes to the base engine that allow it to rev beyond 7000rpm and deliver a much higher specific output” than today’s S55 engine.  As well as being earmarked for the next M4

The 2021 BMW M3 finds redemption through performance

The 2021 BMW M3 finds redemption through performance
Look, I hate BMW’s huge new grille as much as the rest of you, but there are way more important things to talk about with this brand-new M3. This is the sport sedan by which all other sport sedans are judged, and once you get past those unfortunate nostrils, I promise there are plenty of redeeming qualities.
In fact, botched nose-job aside, I think the M3 looks pretty hot. It’s 2.4 inches wider than a base 3 Series, evidenced by bulging front and rear fenders, and the big exhaust tips stick out from the diffuser like a freshly polished brass quartet. All M3s get staggered wheels and tires, with standard 18s up front and 19s out back, though my tester has the optional 19-/20-inch setup. Oh, and as for this new Isle of Man paint job, when we’re allowed to be in contact with other humans again, I owe the person who green-lit (heh) this color a high-five.
If the sedan body style isn’t your thing, there’s also the new M4 coupe, which is basically the same car only a little uglier and a little more expensive. Both the M3 and M4 are available in base and Competition specs with rear-wheel drive, and later this year, all-wheel-drive versions of the Competition models will join the party.
Every M3 and M4 uses BMW’s S58 3.0-liter twin-turbo I6, which is a nice upgrade from the old S55 engine. The base tune offers 473 horsepower and 406 pound-feet of torque and you can get it with either a six-speed manual or eight-speed automatic transmission. The Competition upgrade bumps those figures up to 503 hp and 479 lb-ft, though it also locks you into the automatic gearbox.
The vast majority of M3 and M4 buyers will undoubtedly choose the automatic transmission regardless of engine output, but I’m nevertheless glad to see BMW keeping the manual alive. It’s a good transmission, too — the clutch is heavy with a predictable take-up point, and while I’ve heard other people describe the M3’s gearbox as rubbery, I dig the notchy, precise action to the stick.
The 3.0-liter twin-turbo I6 engine produces 473 hp or 503 hp, depending on spec.
Jonathan Harper/Roadshow
Besides, the more powerful, auto-only Competition cars aren’t that much quicker. Despite their extra oomph and quicker-shifting transmission, both the M3 and M4 Comp will do the 0-to-60-mph dash in 3.8 seconds; the base/manual cars will do the same sprint in 4.1 seconds. The only time you’ll notice that discrepancy is at a drag strip, or as my photographer correctly points out, while ripping between stoplights on Melrose in Hollywood at midnight.
The manual is nicely paired with this turbo I6, too. The S58 is surprisingly rev-happy for a turbo engine, but because there’s so much low-end torque, you don’t always have to drop a gear or two to call up necessary passing power. Speaking of which, the manual gearbox will automatically rev-match on downshifts, though you can disable this feature if you want. I’m sure the real manly-men drivers will scoff at this, but I actually love the auto rev-matching tech, only because you get guaranteed smooth downshifts 100% of the time, and sometimes I just don’t freaking feel like heel-and-toeing in traffic.
You know what else is great? The chassis. The standard G20 3 Series’ setup is pretty good, and extra braces and an aluminum subframe only make the M3 stiffer and stronger. Every M3 comes with electronically controlled adaptive dampers, which can react instantly and individually at each wheel, providing excellent composure over smooth and nasty road surfaces alike. I can genuinely feel a difference between the suspension’s Comfort, Sport and Sport Plus modes. And while BMW’s larger M cars are sometimes crashy even in their cushiest settings (lookin’ at you, M5 and X5/X6 M), the M3 is supple enough that I wouldn’t hate driving it every day.
Jonathan Harper/Roadshow
The S58 is surprisingly rev-happy for a turbo engine, but because there’s so much low-end torque, you don’t always have to drop a gear when you need to make a pass.
A standard limited-slip differential keeps power managed at the rear, and the 275/35ZR19 front and 285/30ZR20 rear Michelin Pilot Sport 4S summer tires offer plenty of grip. There are 10 different traction control levels to choose from, which is totally overkill, though it means you can really have a greater handle on just how much leeway you have in terms of slip. The M3 will totally pull off controlled slides, too, and there’s even a feature called the M Drift Analyzer, which records the distance, duration and angle of a drift and then scores your performance so you can step up your game. That’s cool, but please don’t be one of the morons who tries to use this on a public road.
Sweet as the chassis is, the M3’s steering is a mixed bag. The speed-sensitive, variable-ratio setup means the M3 turns in quickly and instantly responds to changes in direction, but the whole experience is lifeless. The wheel is nicely weighted yet it’s also flatline numb, and weirdly, bordering on twitchy in its most aggressive Sport setting. It’s a shame to see BMW still struggling with steering after all these years.
Likewise, the brakes are hit or miss. The standard steel brakes have 15.0-inch front discs with six-piston calipers, and 14.6-inch rear discs with single-piston floating calipers. That’s a perfectly robust stopping setup, but the M3 uses a version of the brake-by-wire system that you’ll find in the 8 Series, where you can change between Comfort and Sport settings, neither of which actually feel all that different from one another. BMW says the benefit to this tech is consistent braking feel in all situations, but that isn’t what I experienced on the road. There’s an artificial buildup of weight that doesn’t always correlate to stopping force, and that’s hard to get used to. Credit where credit’s due, however: This is one of the better brake-by-wire systems when it comes to low-speed modulation.
The orange leather looks great against my test car’s green paint.
Jonathan Harper/Roadshow
If you’d prefer stronger, carbon-ceramic brakes, they’re available for $8,150 and are set apart with classy gold-painted calipers. Given how strong the stock setup is, unless you’re using the M3 as your track car, I’d skip the carbon-ceramic option. Eight grand is a ton of money.
The base M3 comes with a decent list of standard driver-assistance features, including parking sensors, traffic sign recognition, lane-departure warning, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert and more. Unfortunately, things like adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist and BMW’s Extended Traffic Jam Assist (that combines those aforementioned technologies) are hidden behind a $1,700 package that’s only available on the Competition models. It’s kind of lame to lock that tech into the more expensive Competition trim, though I suppose these are features I could theoretically live without. But you do you.
Every M3 has the same cabin tech: BMW’s iDrive 7 software, with a 10.3-inch center touchscreen and a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster. This is exactly the same as what you get in the basic 3 Series, as well as pretty much every other new BMW. iDrive 7 has a pretty steep initial learning curve, but I appreciate the screen’s quick responses to inputs and the fact that you can control it via a knob on the center console or through voice commands. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are included, as well.
Jonathan Harper/Roadshow
The new M3 is both better to drive and easier to live with.
Most of the interior touchpoints carry over from the 330i and M340i to the M3, save for some M-specific badges and colors and a thicker-diameter steering wheel. You can add BMW’s wild-looking carbon bucket seats to any version of the M3 or M4 for $3,800, and I hear they’re seriously supportive. My test car has the standard sport seats, which are perfectly fine and look great done up in Kyalami Orange leather. For $2,550, you can extend the leather color to the lower dashboard panel, too, so yeah, go nuts.
The base M3 starts at $70,895 including $995 for destination. All done up with special paint and interior colors, the carbon-ceramic brakes, upgraded wheels and an Executive Package (heated steering wheel, head-up display, wireless charging, those dumb gesture controls, etc.), the M3 pictured here costs $90,295 — again, nearly 10% of that price is just from the brakes. As for the rest of the range, the M3 Competition comes in at $73,795, the M4 starts at $72,795 and the M4 Competition is the most expensive variant at $75,695.
See? It looks great from the rear.
Jonathan Harper/Roadshow
In the same way the normal 3 Series is an improvement over its predecessor, so too is the M3. This sport sedan is better to drive and easier to live with, and the M3 continues to stack up nicely against the well-rounded Audi RS5 and V8-powered Mercedes-AMG C63 in terms of price and performance. Ultimately, deciding which one to get comes down to which brand you like best or which car you think looks the coolest.
Oh, crap. Maybe that grille is more important than I thought.

2020 BMW X3M and X4M arrive with 503 hp and 177 mph top speed
https://bestcaritems.com/?p=6979&utm_source=SocialAutoPoster&utm_medium=Social&utm_campaign=Tumblr It’s the new reality: A sporty crossover SUV is as important as a sport sedan from an automaker that makes performance one of its talking points. So it was only a matter of time before BMW released M versions of its compact X3 and X4 crossovers. On Tuesday, BMW revealed the 2020 BMW X3 M and X4 M crossover SUVs and said production will begin in April. The headline is under the hood. Both crossover SUVs are motivated by the S58 twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-6 that spins out 473 horsepower and 442 pound-feet of torque. The engine revs to 7,200 rpm, launches the vehicles to 60 mph in 4.1 seconds, and vaults them to a top speed of 174 mph. 2020 BMW X3 M Competition That’s just the starting point. X3 M and X4 M Competition models are available as well, and they make 503 hp. That’s enough to drop the 0-60 mph time to 4.0 seconds and increase the top speed to 177 mph. A lot of cooling is employed to handle all that power. The SUVs have a central radiator flanked by two smaller radiators, an additional engine oil cooler, and a separate transmission cooler. Oil supply is also optimized for track driving. The oil sump has two chambers and a suction channel. An additional suction stage pulls oil from the smaller chamber when needed and helps ensure the SUVs are never starved for oil, even under the heavy lateral loads experienced on a track. CHECK OUT: 2019 BMW X7 3-row SUV debuts: The bling comes standard The standard 8-speed automatic transmission should crack off instant shifts and can be controlled via steering wheel-mounted shift paddles. The standard cars’ all-wheel-drive system has been tweaked and tuned by BMW’s M Division, and a Sport mode allows it to send more power to the rear wheels. A standard active rear differential can shift power side to side. BMW reinforced the body with a metal strut tower brace, an A-brace at the firewall, and two other braces that mount between the shock towers and the front of the vehicle. A carbon-fiber strut brace will be offered in August. The company also updated the suspension with M-specific bushings, bearings, rear control arms, anti-roll bars, and front wishbone suspension components. The front camber is increased to help provide high-speed stability and more control through corners. 2020 BMW X4 M Competition M-tuned adjustable adaptive dampers are standard, and the steering has variable ratios and adjustable weights. The brakes feature 15.6-inch front rotors with 4-piston calipers and 14.6-inch rear rotors with sliding calipers. DON’T MISS: 2019 BMW 3-Series first drive review: Benchmark or bookmark? Those brakes sit behind light alloy 20-inch wheels that mount staggered-size Z-rated tires: 255/40s up front and 265/40s out back. BMW says it tested the X3 M and X4 M on the Nürburgring Nordschiefe, as well as the company’s Mirimas test track in southern France. Onlookers will be able to spot the M SUVs by their large front air intakes, signature M gills along the sides, rear diffusers, rear bumpers, and unique roof spoilers. The front and rear bumpers, side skirts, and wheel arches are also body color instead of black. Competition models have gloss-black grille surrounds, mirror caps, and side gills. The X4 M version also has a black rear spoiler, plus 21-inch wheels, an M Sport exhaust with black chrome exhaust tips, and unique door sill plates and badges. 2020 BMW X3 M Competition Inside, all models get sport seats with upgraded leather upholstery, aluminum carbon trim, and M division parts for the instrument cluster, steering wheel, and gear selector. Competition models have more thickly bolstered M Sport seats in softer leather. Prices have not been announced. Expect that information closer to launch this spring. Via MotorAuthority

Manhart Racing plans MHX4 600 with 600 hp
The tuning scene is getting ready for the all-new BMW X3 M and X4 M power SUVs. The uber crossovers are launching later this year, so it comes as no surprise that many tuning shops around the world are starting their own projects. Germany-based Manhart Racing is now the first tuner to have released two Photoshop designs and first info on the planned upgrades for the strong duo from Garching. The basis of both images is the BMW X4 M F98, which is to become the Manhart MHX4 600 in Wuppertal.
Anyone familiar with the Manhart nomenclature immediately understands the number 600 as the target value for the nominal power. Manhart already dares to provide additional power of at least 90 hp from the new BMW biturbo straight-six S58 which comes in two performance levels with 480 or 510 hp.
Since the S58 engine will also be used in the upcoming generation of the BMW M3 and M4, the X3 M and X4 M are a double gift for the tuning scene: They don’t only start a new market segment, but also prepare early for the upcoming M3 and M4. Against this background, it can be assumed that powerful increases in performance are already available right at the launch of the M3 Sedan and the M4 Coupé. The 600hp house number thrown around by Manhart Performance may just be the beginning.
To further sharpen the design of the BMW X4 M F98, Manhart relies on discreet details in a gold contrasting color. Both on the front apron and on the rear, the thin lines emphasize the distinctive shapes of the M aprons, clearly indicating the sporty positioning of the vehicle. Four powerful tailpipes are the culmination of an SUV coupe which will find a home on and off the track.

The 2020 BMW X3 and X4 M Arrive with up to 503 HP
After 16 model years, the BMW X3 finally receives the full-fat M treatment in the form of the 2020 BMW X3 M. It is naturally being joined by an X4 M, too, and as an added bonus, BMW announced both of these rocket crossovers will be offered in Competition-spec soon after launch.
Much like the M models of the larger X5 and X6, the formula is simple: take a family friendly SUV and turn it sinister with the addition of more power and more capable hardware. To that end, the new compact M SUVs mark the debut of BMW’s new S58 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged inline-six, and it stumps up a mighty 473 horsepower and 442 lb-ft of torque in standard spec. Wait a bit longer and pay a bit more for the Competition, and power jumps to 503 horses. Perhaps even more important is that this engine is almost definitely the powerplant for the forthcoming G20-generation M3 sedan and M4 coupe, and will therefore stick around quite a while. Additionally, keen observers may note this output is right in the same range as Mercedes-AMG’s GLC63 and GLC63 S, as well as the Alfa Romeo Stelvio Quadrifoglio.
All this gumption is managed by the standard ZF-sourced eight-speed automatic transmission. A rear-biased all-wheel-drive system is standard, as is an M-specific active rear differential that only sends power to the front wheels when traction demands it. Much like the current M5’s AWD system, drivers can switch into M Dynamic mode and then into M Drive 4WD Sport, which directs as little power to the front as possible, encouraging “controlled drifts.” It’s not quite the same as the M5’s incredible “2WD” mode which completely decouples power from the front wheels, but it’s nice to know the engineers at BMW still like to have some fun when picking up the kids.
With all this extra power and trick AWD system, performance is unsurprisingly excellent. The zero-to-60-mph sprint is stated to take only 4.1 seconds in base spec and 4.0 seconds in the Competition. Top speed? Well, it depends. Regular X3/X4 Ms top-out at 155 mph, but an optional M Driver’s package nudges the Vmax to 174 mph. In Competitions, you’ll see an indicated 177 mph before it runs into the limiter.
Of course, the twins are outfitted with buckets of additional performance-oriented weaponry and gadgets to make sure they stay shiny side up. Both have an M Adaptive suspension offering Comfort, Sport, and Sport+ settings, along with bushings, bearings, and structural reinforcements unique to the twins and shared between them. Shortly after launch, an underhood brace can be upgraded to a carbon-reinforced plastic unit in August. Differences between the regular and Competition models are limited to unique anti-roll bars for each variant.
BMW futzed with the electric steering motor to sharpen response, while the brakes now feature beefier 15.6-inch rotors slowed by four-piston calipers in the front and 14.6-inchers in the back grabbed by a single-piston caliper. There’s an electronically adjustable exhaust as well, along with a M Sport exhaust standard on the Competition.
Visually, it’s exactly as you might expect, with a larger, more aggressive front fascia and rear lower valence. The X3 and X4 Ms wear all-new 20- and 21-inch wheelsets at all four corners, depending on which trim you choose. If you peek around back, there’s a hatch-mounted spoiler, the first time an X3 or X4 has been fitted with such a piece.
No surprises inside, either. Non-Competitions arrive with standard Sport seats, with the grippier and less compromising M Sport seats of the Competition being optional on regular versions. Aluminum, carbon-fiber, and Alcantara trim is scattered around the cabin, which also gets M-specific digital gauges and performance displays.
This is exactly what we’d imagined the X3 M and X4 M to be in terms of specs, performance, and looks. We may not be surprised, but we’re pleased such wacko vehicles exist, even if hi-po SUVs are almost prosaic at this point in time. Production begins in April of this year, with sales to start shortly thereafter we imagine. No pricing has yet been announced.

Did We Fix The Biggest Complaints About The BMW M2 G87?
Tumblr media
When the BMW M2 hit the market, it sparked controversy over its unconventional styling. Despite the car putting on some weight compared to the previous generation, the new M2 remains the smaller and ‘more chuckable’ M car. With the same chassis and powerplant as the G80 M3 / G82 M4, there are already numerous modifications available. We recently got this BMW here at Vivi Racing HQ to install a Valvetronic Designs Valved Sport Exhaust System, H&R VTF Adjustable Lowering Springs, VR Tuned ECU Tuning Box, and  some RW Carbon Aero pieces!
Tumblr media
We treated this BMW G87 M2 to a Valvetronic Designs Valved Sport Exhaust System, which sounds great coming out of the S58 Twin Turbo Inline 6 engine. Valvetronc Design is an American manufacturer of some of the greatest systems on the market that boast the best of both worlds: soundtrack and performance. There are not many brands out there who can claim to have an exhaust that looks the part, sounds the part, and performs it all the same. The Valvetronic Design exhaust for the G87 produces an aggressively sporty tone with minimal effect on drivability and cabin noise all while looking great and producing impeccable power. To complement the newfound power from the exhaust system, we went on to do a VR Tuned ECU Tuning box on this BMW to truly take it to the next level.
Tumblr media
The last upgrade on our list is none other than the H&R VTF Adjustable Lowering Springs. This package was made for the BMW G8X M2/M3/M4 to deliver optimal results. Lowering ranges are possible between 1.4 – 1.75inch in the front and 1.4 – 1.8inch in the rear. The H&R Adjustable Lowering Springs are a solid alternative to conventional ones so you no longer have to be “stuck” with a fixed ride height. With the H&R Height Adjuster, you can lower and raise the G87’s suspension even after the system has been installed. Not only do you get a more dynamic stance with these springs, but you also get a more enhanced driving experience with improved performance, better steering behavior/response, and more agile stock dampers.

New 500bhp BMW M4 seen for the first time in cabriolet form BMWs upcoming M4 has been spotted in disguise in convertible form ahead of its release next year.

BMW X3 M, X4 M Could Exceed 500 HP Thanks To Competition Package
The two performance SUVs need that kind of power to better fight the Mercedes-AMG GLC 63 S / GLC 63 S Coupe.
At the end of November last year, BMW M’s boss Frank van Meel revealed during the Los Angeles Auto Show he was (and probably still is) keen on the idea of giving M-badged SUVs the Competition Package. It’s not known at this point which will be the first models to get the extra goodies, but a report coming from BMW Blog indicates the already previewed X3 M and X4 M will be blessed with the optional upgrades.
Powering the first-ever M versions of the two SUVs will be BMW’s newly developed twin-turbo 3.0-liter inline-six engine codenamed S58. An evolution of the S55 found in the M3 and M4, the new unit is said to deliver somewhere in the region of 450 horsepower in its base form. Higher specification of the engine are rumored to exceed the 500-hp mark, and the X3 M and X4 M fitted with a Competition Package are expected to offer that kind of power.
X5 M and X6 M too big or expensive?
Should the report pan out, it means BMW will be able to fully rival Mercedes-AMG’s GLC 63 S and GLC 63 S Coupe, which both offer 503 hp from a twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8. In addition, the X3 M would also be able to fight the Alfa Romeo Stelvio Quadrifoglio and its twin-turbo 2.9-liter V6 rated at 505 hp.
Aside from massaging the engine to extract more power, the engineers at BMW M will bundle other items into the Competition Package to make it worth your while. As with other similar upgrades offered for non-SUV models, the CP kit should come along with a further tweaked chassis, a sportier suspension setup, and some minor visual revisions inside and out.
The report goes on to specify the regular X3 M and X4 M won’t be unveiled until mid-2019, which seems a bit odd considering BMW has officially previewed the two models already. The Competition Package is expected to follow several months later.
