The southeast corner of Cahuenga and Hollywood was home to what was, perhaps, the most filmed magazine stand in the world. Open 24 Hours a day for decades, it appears in dozens of movies and TV shows, especially police procedurals from the 1970s. 

Finally and unfortunately, the 2020 pandemic did it in. The spot has been closed ever since. The sign is still there.

really its just about vibes, things that remind you of something someone or another thing. for the sainthood one i had one quote that sort of just stuck out to me and i ran with it. finding anything you think looks nice together as well, for example i looked through the encylocpedia britannica at religious art pieces related to the stigmata. i knew i wanted it to be about sainthood but not explicitly about saints as ordinary people until i thought about the gerard way quote and it all clicked. song lyrics are also an AWESOME place to start. just sort of things that speak to you and matching them thematically to other things. its like making poetry with others' poetry.
