Why can’t I make friends, am I that bad of a person,” I blabred to my plant “I wish you could respond back, as you are basically the only thing I talk to.” I heard that if you talk to your plants it will make them grow faster but I really don’t think that is true “Oh plant, why must you be so cruel to me, just talk to me already” I said very dramatically, I have no idea why I’m still talking to the plant but I also don’t want to go to school is not like I have any friends waiting for me.

“OLIVER!” my mom shouts from downstairs

“Yes, yes I’m coming!” I shout back

“Well you better hurry before I drag you down here” my mom said, I have no idea why she always says that, like why can’t she just be quiet is literally 8 in the morning how can she always be energetic. Sometimes I wish I could steal it from her and have it for myself because everyday I feel so tired. I finally decide to walk down the stairs and get myself in to the car

“Hey, you ready for the new school.” she yells in my ear

“Could you please not scream in my ear.” I said angrily

“You know you don’t have to always be so grumpy, right.” she commented

“Could you just start driving” I mumble to myself, but I do feel very grumpy for no reason probably because I know nothing is really gonna happen, either way I do hate the first day because you always have to introduce yourself and say a fun fact, and when it’s my turn to go my mind goes blank I always wonder if this is just a me thing or is like a everybody thing.

“Okay we're here” my mom says with no emotion whatsoever, I sigh my way out the car, I already want to go home even though I just came here. New classes, new everything. I very much do not like it, but it also means new people and I can actually make a new friend or I mean my first friend.

As I wait till is my turn to introduce myself there is this guy who peeks my interest he has wavy hair, I want to squeeze it.

“Oliver it's your turn” Ms.Smith says

I go blank I can’t think, everyones is looking at me, come on Oliver anything say anything

“umm…Hi my name is Oliver and I like drawing” I say what my mind can come up with which I guess is ok but the things is that is not true at all I absolutely hate drawing there just something about it and I hate that I can’t make anything how I want it to look like its very frustrating

“Ok, take a seat” She say in a very calm tone

I took a seat and that one guy that I took an interest in sat right next to me, I wonder if I’m in a movie. Ms.Smith started her lesson, but I was mostly looking outside where the leaves fall down from the tree and dance in the wind. It was a wonderful view.

“Hey, hello, you there” the guy next to me said

“Uhh… ya”

“Hey”

“Hi”

“Do you like autumn” he asked

“Ya, why?” I asked back because it’s a really weird question to ask someone random

“Because, I wanted to know if you wanted to go on a walk with me during lunch to see the pretty trees”

“Ummm… I guess” This guy is kinda weird

“Ok, I’ll see you there”

I wonder if I’ll actually be able to find because there is going to be a bunch of people and he is kinda short, and also what kind of a person would ask a question like that but I could make a friend out of him.

Shane has a ton of famous songs. Virtually every big country star has a hit with him. Remember ML shading Sam Hunt’s BLABR by liking a terrible post about it. Shane wrote that with Sam. Below are some of the artists he’s worked with. Interesting that he co-wrote Step Off (believed to be about ML) with Kacey. He also co-wrote her current release, Rainbow.

Chance the rapper is a good one. Not too crazy about his music b/c other than a select few raps not my thing. But he's extremely charitable & just seems like a sweet guy. I don't think Chris will win song, but definitely album. My money's on Taylor, but I'm rooting for Sam. If only just to piss off the jerks who like to categorize music & are assholes to him. Also blabr spent 25 weeks atop the country charts, it broke a sixty something year record.

He does seem like a sweet guy and one that is involved in the community. He was/is involved in Obama’s foundation or the Summit at least.

I like some rap but not a big fan either.

To the anon questioning Hardy’s response. Go back and read it. All of it. Not just the last sentence. To them the more important lyric was “paying homage to HankJr” (original outlaw country along with Jones, Cash, Jennings and Kristpoherson. ) A guy who influenced this young man. Goes onto say “you could have said took off whoever” That line was just was about timing. It was the song they were playing the crap out of and it’s this new fresh thing. Written in May. Go back and reread it 1/2

2/2 It had nothing to do with race. Nothing to do with sexuality (written in May long before LN came out). It was the most played song. If they wrote this 2 years ago it would have been BLABR. Last year Meant to Be. Variety never interviewed the writers. The writer pulled out an author he had connections with to back his story. They created drama to make a story.

I totally agree with you.  Blake, and Gwen, are just targets of these classless people.

Who are you really into right now in country? I need some reccomendations b/c I've just been listening to the same Blake, Lee Brice & Kip Moore songs. Although I've recently added the BLABR and Ex to See live versions that Sam just released.

Well like I said, I’ve been listening to Brett Eldredge’s album a lot lately. I think it’s a good decent album and I really like Brett for his personality. I’ve also been listening to Old Dominion since they’re getting ready to release a new album. They have like 4 new songs out and I’m a huge fan of them. I just found this girl named Jillian Jacqueline and I really like her sound... I literally just started listening to her like an hour ago. Oh and Brandy Clark has a new song out that I’m digging.

If you like Sam Hunt, then I would also suggest Walker Hayes. He’s a newer artist but I’m absolutely in love with his music.

So every year fans say how bad Blake’s team is. Yet here we are in the Top 10 now and Blake has 3. Again. The most possible artists he can have he has. Dude is a legend.

I thought Dave might end up in the bottom two tonight, but he pulled it out! I’m hoping for better song choices for Blake’s team next week. No offense fans, but those song selections weren’t great. Chris’s was, but America did Kirk dirty with BLABR. I think the song is okay, but it’s a pretty simple little tune without any big moments to really let Kirk shine. Dave’s beatboxing was a misstep. I think they were going for something fun and memorable, but it was just weird. 😬 Still, like you said, never underestimate the power of Team Blake!

There's a Song of the Year and Single/Performance OTY, right? I think BLABR will get Single OTY which will cause a lot of havoc from the likes of SCM because they consider Sam spawn of the devil lmao. But there is no denying how huge that song was. Anyway the snub causing the biggest Grammy furore is that of Ed Sheeran. He's declined to come perform and there's all kinds of associated meltdowns now.

BLABR is huge. I am not a fan of Sam but that song was damn catchy and it was played often on my radio station. LOL, I can see why country snobs won’t like Sam.

I was really surprised that Sheeran didn’t get a nom. Good for him for not going to perform. Personally, I don’t know what the hype is about him or his music but he’s hot right now and seem to have a cute personality.

I'm not exactly a Sam Hunt fan but I do like some of his songs and BLABR is my guilty pleasure. I'm so glad it knocked FGL's Cruise off the record as the longest time spent on Billboard HCS and country airplay and at teh rate its still selling and streaming, will probably also go Diamond like Cruise did. Amazing achievement, so Congrats Sam!

Good for Sam. I mean his spot in country music is definitely complicated, but there's no denying that he's super successful. I think he has a nice sound, even if it's different. I'm just waiting for his next album! I need him to hurry it up 😂
