i love these games but I always forget how it can Be Like This sometimes
#*spends 40 hours typing various forms of a command until you find the right one that works*#''climb'' was apparently correct#also i know some incorporate humor elements but i wish more of them did#just for once i want to type something like 'lay down on the floor and fucking die' and have the game be like 'okay...you die'#and i think some of the text based games i played when i was younger had like... lists or someting?? where you could see#most of the available things youre able to do so youre not just guessing#but im pretty sure this one didnt#anyway like.. imagine this but in real life#like you have some god demon or something in controlof all your actions so you have to ask them before you do stuff#you want to drink water so you're like 'get cup' '... sorry you cant do that' 'pick up cup' 'sorry i dont know what you mean' 'grab cup'#'sorry i dont know what youre talking about' 'PLACE HANDS AROUND CUP' 'sorry you can't do that' 'FUCKINGGN HOLD THE CUP' 'sorry#i dont know what that means' *you die of dehydration*#*demon is looking over your dead body and then pauses in thought* 'oh... hmmm... I wonder if they meant that they wanted to#grasp the cup with their hands?..... oh well too lat enow'#actually.... give me a humorous text based game where youre literally just trying not to die but every action you take has to first be#described to and understood by the most dense fucking demon on earth who also has ridiculous vocabulary#like they wouldnt understand the word 'walk' but would understand 'perambulate'#demon who is somehow both an obscure vocabulary nerd and an idiot with no sense of context clues or common sense#BHHbbb#im already making an interactve fiction game that i keep forgetting about and not finishing so i really dont want to start on anything else#lmao but i do enjoy the idea of constantly dying while trying to explain very basic functions (like.. getting a drink) to a frustrating#action controlling demon who's incredibly choosy about the words they understand#'please ufckING LET ME SLEEP' 'sorry i dont know what that is' 'engage the act of slumber' 'oh okay... you go to sleep'#anyway bhhhhhhhh#im trying to work on things like posting fdrafts and etc. today since it's supposed to be in the 100s for a few days this week#and i know that means inevitably my productivity will rocket downwards as it gets hotter and ill spend the entire week on the floor#in a sweaty heat induced groggy half slumber#but i reakky want to finish some art and stuff i just hate that... i have to like... sit up to do that... and like.. typing wolrduilding stu#ff and etc... gotta be... up... i was going to do another costume but not in the heat lol... i wish i could just hang suspended in air over#a huge pile of ice that brings cool air up towards me as i write and draw and edit videos telepathically
