psa: mini muse update

i have now added the whole primary, secondary, tertiary thing to my muses page just to help myself have a little more definition between my muses.

in simple terms primary muses are those that i have the most muse for and the most popular of my muses. secondary muses are those that i have a little less muse for and tertiary muses are muses that i still love but don’t find myself writing on the regular as much.

all muses are still available and just because a muse is tertiary doesn’t mean that you can’t write/send a thing for them. they just won’t be played as much or as often as some of my other muses.

psa - canon divergences

under the cut are a list of the canon divergences for all of my muses that are divergent. i’ve attempted to keep things short and simple, but if you have any questions then feel free to ask

broadchurch

becca fisher - after her relationship with paul ended, becca remained in broadchurch running her hotel in what ways that she could with the continuing lack of tourist interest in the town. finally deciding to sell her hotel, she rekindles her relationship with paul and they leave broadchurch together chloe latimer - after her father returns, chloe is studying at university and spends her time living between her parents, spending the most of the time that she has with both of them. karen white - follows the canon of the first series of broadchurch, however, karen returns to the town when the trial of joe miller occurs in series two to both report on the trial and support the latimer family throughout. mark latimer - while mark does leave broadchurch for some time, he eventually moves and settles back into the region. while he doesn’t live in broadchurch itself, he is still close enough to see those who he wants to and be with his daughters olly stevens - working for an investigative journal in london, olly still often makes his way back to broadchurch, still writing articles for the broadchurch echo on occasion

full house

pete bianco - after an off again-on again relationship with jesse lasting a number of years, pete travels to europe not long after jesse moves in to help his brother-in-law after his sister’s death. coming back for the events of ‘doctor dare rides again’, it becomes very apparent to pete that he will not ever have the kind of relationship with jesse that he wants and decides to leave once more. back in europe, he finds himself in a dark hole, eventuating in him going to rehab and missing the invitation and the wedding of jesse and rebecca. eventually, pete is able to move on from his past and find happiness with a man that he meets in europe and one day marrying him. dj tanner - all of the events leading up to the beginning of fuller house have taken place, but dj has not moved on at all as quickly as the show has depicted. there is no matt vs steve. dj is still single and not yet ready to commit herself to another relationship as of yet after the death of her husband. stephanie tanner - all of the events leading up to the beginning of fuller house have taken place, but stephanie has been working at the smash club since her return to san francisco. working as one of the managers of the club, stephanie all but runs the club most of the time, working under the guidance of her uncle who still owns the club and has since the 90s. additionally, unless stated otherwise, in any thread set in the present time, stephanie is dating kevin pearson from this is us. this means that her relationship with jimmy has not happened, nor her surrogate pregnancy with kimmy.

how i met your mother

tracy mcconnell - the final result of the finale did not happen. tracy is alive and well. while she was sick for a period of time, she was eventually able to fight it off, despite things looking dire for a period of time.

jane the virgin

jane villanueva-cordero - as michael did not die from complications from the gunshot wound, jane is still married to her husband. all other events from the series, other than romantic things, have occurred including jane being a published freaking author

princess diaries

mia thermopolis - mia takes on the role of queen with grace and dignity. her relationship with nicholas does not commence so soon after her coronation and mia chooses to first focus herself on her country before her love life. spending some time away from nicholas and focusing on her royal duties, the two will eventually come back together again

sherlock

sally donovan - with lestrade’s promotion to dci, sally becomes a di in her own right, a position that she has to fight for and earn her way towards with the full support of her superior. she has continuing guilt over the events of sherlock’s ‘suicide’, though not to the extent that anderson faced, lestrade being one of the few that knew what was she was going through. her welcome back to sherlock was briefly, only one text message and the most brief of conversations the first time that she saw him. the air is clear between them and there is very little animosity between the pair janine hawkins - after her tumultuous relationship with sherlock, janine was finally able to leave the grips of magnussen, feeling a relief after his death, her continuing employment with him for so long being one that was not of choice. moving away from london, janine uses her new found money to open a bakery and begin a new career. molly hooper - while she still has a crush on sherlock, molly’s infatuation for sherlock is not what it appears to be in the show. there are some lingering feelings, though she has accepted that nothing will come from them and has properly moved on with her life both romantically and not.

torchwood

owen harper - while owen was shot at the end of ‘reset’, he manged to just survive, only scraping through until ambulance assistance arrived from the help of martha jones. taking time to recover, both owen and tosh survive the events of the rest of series two. despite a very slow start, owen and tosh eventually begin a relationship that carries on throughout the events of children of earth. it is at this point, with the hub destroyed and jack grieving the loss of ianto, that owen and tosh make the decision to leave torchwood and commence with the next stage of their lives. owen returns to his medical background, returning to a hospital setting, coming with highest recommendations possible. after bouncing around a few different departments, he finally finds himself happiest and most settled in paediatrics. eventually, having found love and trust again, owen proposes to tosh and becomes doctor owen harper-sato.
