It kind makes sense why Nora put some responsability into Yato in their family situation. She felt she was an intermediary and charging the family peace. I wonder how many times she pleaded Father for Yato to be left alone, and how many times she had asked Yato to temporarily come back for the sake of keeping Father calm. She resents he had the chance to leave plus disturbing the little order they had.

Exactly!!!! I pity her so so much!! Remember how in the beginning we thought SHE was the evil presence in Yato's life bc Father used her as a messenger? That is how Yato saw her, too. In his eyes, she is the thing keeping him tied to Father, always bringing him back and reeling him in with toxic mantras of family and duty. However....... There was so much more to her. She always calls him Yato, even in front of Father, knowing it is a symbol of his rebellion but also the name he feels most comfortable with. She really believed every bit of family stuff she said, because she honestly loved him and wanted to keep their fucked up little family together in the only way she was taught how. And the worst part???? Deep down, she knew it was futile. She knew both of them were using her and didn't really love her. A shinki's main desire is to belong, and for all of her attempts at being the best faughter and sister she could be, they both denied her that. And yet!!! She doesn't hate Yato for escaping the situation!!!! She is upset because he LEFT HER BEHIND, because he left the family they had together for 1000 years!!!!!

All in all, I am so very stoked that it is Hiyori and Yukine who have finally managed to shake her out of that mindset. It wasn't Yato's duty to pull her out of it, but he pulled Yukine out, who in turn paid the favor forward to the very girl Yato abandoned. It's why I know this arc will end happily after all this pain- the echoes of the characters' good hearts will get through the anger and issues, and they will be happy once again becausethey have each other to lean on.

I am so in love with how in love Dom and Miranda are with each other, to be real and not jokey for a moment. You're a deft hand at portraying binds and relationships of all konds- the ride-or-die friendship of Milo and Cody, the platonic compansionship of Dan and Jake (and Milo Sr., pre him being [REDACTED]", and I love that, but dude, as someone who has to be very invested in characters to really get anything out of their romantic inclinations specifically, you are doing everything right with Dom and Mira. It is so, so painfully obvious that the love between them is built on a mutual foundation, that it exceeds beyond the physical (tho they do clearly think the other is a Smokin' Hottie also 👀), that they would both dive headfirst into hell for the other not out of obligation but becausethey would want to, without hesitation, and that really gets me in the heart... They are both so dang cute and so cute TOGETHER and GOD HELP ME,
