PLUSHIE MAIL DAY!!

Look at all the new friends!!! My uk friend sent me another care package and im so stoked! The cheer bear with the rattle finishes off my collection of the care bears baby line with rattles, the g3 fluttershys will go in my pony display, same with cheerilee bab! She also got me the fuzzy costume bears. Grumpy Bear in a cute outfit will never not be funny to me. Then she surprised me with the love a lot glow beanie and the twilight sparkle keychain, who is way softer than than i thought XD. The Christmas wishes bear i think was a gift as well XD. I cant remember these things. And finally, the jellycat bunny witht the pumpkin! But my friend had one my surprise for me...

A CARE BEAR BUTTON UP!?!? She apparently got sent 2 on accident when she bought one for herself and the extra she got just so happened to fit!!!! I can't wait to find an excuse to wear this XD.

I also got some new figures from miniso and a new bab plushie but uh totally forgot to take pictures of those, so expect that post soon i guess XD.

Do you like any of the older Halloween Build a Bears like the Candy Corn Bears, the Ghost (that partly glows in the dark), and the different four legged cats?

I think a few of these lack creativity however...

Candy Corn bear, Pumpkin Bear and Pumpkin Cat are just so packed full of old school BABW that I just adore them!

Also the ghost freaks me out a lot...good job? :D I love glowing/light-up BAB though.

This is a series of asks since I am almost out of asks for now but you can answer them over time in posts. 1. What kind of commissions would you be willing to do? For example, eye swaps, dying, embroidered paws, custom clothing.... 2. What Build a Bears (and clothes) do you personally want and why? 3. What are your current favorite Build a Bear animals, clothes, and accessories? Why? 4. If Build a Bear closed tomorrow, what would you miss the most and why? What would you miss the least and why?

I'm answering them all now, because it's easier that way. Might forget about the ask if I only answer one at a time lol.

1. I'd be willing to do dyes, adding or altering body parts (claws, teeth, horns, wings), eye swaps, painting over embroidered or appliqué eyes, species swaps (like the cat I turned into a bat, or the pikachu that I turned into a raichu), anything I've done in the past I'd be willing to do. I don’t have the tools for embroidery and I don't make clothes (I can dye em or do designs on em though), but other than that I'm open to just about anything!

2. Right now, I really want the pumpkin glow bear! I love the Halloween bears and the texture of this one looks so nice. And I love his face! I also want the snow monster bear but I'm not willing to pay a lot for one. It's just cute, and I'm still not over my package being stolen and I hope whoever stole it got what they deserved. I also want a couple of those black v-neck shirts! And the out of this world shirt, it's really cute.

3. My current favorites are Gengar, my shiny umbreon, my newest werewolf, and my Bucky. My favorite accessory is the pumpkin pie scent, if scents count. I'm not super into accessories except for the collars I buy. I do like some of the shoes (the red high tops and the black combat boots are adorable) but my BaBs never wear them indoors. Except maybe for pics? My favorite clothing currently is the grey sweatsuit, Bucky bear looks so cozy!

4. I'd miss the Pokémon line the most, I think. And also just the experience of going in and making a bear or other plush, it's a lot of fun! What I'd miss the least is stuff selling out in like a day because of scalpers. Wouldn't miss that at all lol.

Okay to actually answer the question: my poor stupid little heart has fallen in love with some BABs no longer being sold, so I’m turning to eBay for them. Here are the ones I really want currently, with pictures:

Pumpkin cat

Lil S’mores

I will probably find more; I like to trawl eBay and go ‘OHHHHH SOFT!!!’ at Literally every stuffed animal available. But mostly at the BABs.

(There’s also a few BABs I want to get for friends: Fluttershy, Blue from Jurassic World, a Pikachu, one of the really cool bats they had for Halloween a few years back...)

Btw now that BAB has their Halloween collection out . Pikachu I wanted before money crisis is no longer my friend Gourdon is my new best friend (Gourdon is the name I gave the pumpkin glow bear I never ended up having the money to buy before Halloween season ended)

What are your favorite Build a Bears from 2021?

Oh gosh, 2021 had SO many amazing BaBs! I think I'll pick a favorite from a few different categories.

Favorite Pokémon: BaB did a lot of excellent Pokémon this year, including 3 eeveelutions, our first ghost type, a galar starter, and the legendary Pokémon literally everyone had been waiting for! It's obviously a huge challenge to pick my favorite, because I love all of them, but I think espeon is my favorite from this year, simply because she's my favorite eeveelution.

Favorite Halloween BaB: I bought 2 from this year's Halloween collection, but my favorite is my werewolf! I also really love my pumpkin glow bear, but he was from last year. Also, gengar wasn't technically a Halloween BaB but he's a ghost so he gets an honorable mention.

Favorite Christmas BaB: The moose! His cute little face is just so precious, and the buffalo plaid gives such cozy vibes. The panda is a close second, because he really reminds me of childhood Christmas decor. I didn't care for any of the reindeer this year.

Favorite bear: The Crayola bear! That came out this year, right? The years have all run together. But I really love the bright colors, and the paws that you can "paint"!

Other favorites include my woodland wolf, opossum, axolotl, and GWL rainbow wolf.

So basically all the BaBs I got this year are my favorite ones released. 😆
