something I think new kpop fans wouldn’t understand is that back in the day 2nd gen boy groups before bts would have an incredibly talented vocal line and then the one hot dude who had a deep voice or couldn’t sing would be the ‘rapper’ for like 2 lines per song so he had an excuse to be there. Nowadays the new groups have a real fully formed functioning rapline that appear to have come out the womb with bars and one cute dude who maybe does kareoke on a weekend and attempts bad falsetto

The Villain of Romance - Episode 1

Since I spend a lot of time on Viki for subbing purposes once again, it obviously becomes a source of inspiration when it comes to finding new dramas to watch and this was on the home page when I logged in this morning. And who do I see on the promotional picture? No one else than Baro from B1A4. Well I know he’s not part of the band anymore and that’s how I first knew him and he was one of my favorite with his very low voice. The picture looks cute, so I decided that this will be the next drama I’m watching, probably in parallel with something else because the episodes are not all out as I’m writing this review. Hopefully it will be a change from all the past series I have been watching lately.

For a second there, I thought I jumped in too fast and that it was actually a Reality Show, with the two anchors. They were reading a letter from a viewer I guess and that leads us to the story so far. Hee Jae gets into a fight with his girlfriend, Yoo Jin, decides to go on a trip alone with another man, her childhood friend.

Yoo Jin seems to be a very bossy woman. So far, I think she’s a little abusive with Hee Jae. Why would she take him to him super spicy food when she knows he can’t handle it very well? I personally looooove spicy food, however, my partner can’t handle it very well, so I don’t put as much peppers when I cook to suit their preference. And that’s not being submissive, it’s just being considerate, the same way they stopped using white pepper everywhere since I don’t like it even though that is his preference. Anyways. It doesn’t look like a healthy relationship to me.

Hee Jae didn’t know for a long time that Yoo Jin’s childhood friend she spends so much time with is actually a man and is very shocked on the day he meets him. Ever after that, he keeps following them around and getting between them every time they meet. One, that’s very childish. Two, that’s way too controlling. If you can’t trust someone, don’t date them. However, I can’t completely blame him, because she does stuff that annoys him on purpose and that’s really not nice.

Hee Jae ends up begging his friend to drive him to the hotel where Yoo Jin and Sang Ah are staying. He comes right as she’s leaving. In the room, Sang Ah tried to kiss her after she told him he was sad long enough about his breakup with his girlfriend and she rejected him quite violently. Hee Jae’s friend’s car died on the way there, after Hee Jae abandoned him.

And that’s it for now. So far I wouldn’t say the plot is incredible, nor is the acting. I mean, it’s okay. I’m only just one episode in, so I think it might actually be in the spirit of parody? In that case, I’m all in.

I just really like the original song with baro and love this cover too. tbh this concert is full of great performances, when they do bling girl with the instruments? love it too..

What's Going On? from KMF 20131231: Same as you, fun song and performance, I think baro and shinwoo kill it (i also like the fuzzy coat on baro???? what is this sorcery). also this was the performance that planted the idea that i NEED a pure rock song by shinwoo, I will probably never get it and it makes me sad

Sandeul Solo, Emergency Room from King of Masked Singer 20150412: I wish we could get an album by him more in this style, the songs in his albums tend to be more.... sweet and simple? and there's nothing wrong with that but an album more like something from Sung Si Kyung would be nice

Wait from Adventure Concert 2015: I mean, i already said many times that wait is just up there for me.. just the slow start with baro's soft deep voice and then slowly building up before stoping for a little bit and then start again to just go full emotion. i also like that they go and sit with the crowd? love seeing the faces of fellow banas just so close to losing it lol can relate

Sandeul duo, The Road from Duet Song Festival 20160506: I was between this one and Companion, but while I love companion, there is something about this performance that I just enjoy more, it might be the less serious tone of the performance and the way he enjoys himself (that little rap is so cute)

CNU Solo, Once again this night from King of Masked Singer 20160918: LOVE this solo, i like his deeper voice i think he has a really, mmhhh, calming? effect.. and I also think that he should have won this, his parts sound amazing (but i'm biased lmao)

Before It Gets Any Sadder from Immortal Songs 2 20161217: this one might be my favorite live performance from them? I just love the energy so much. that little train they do at the middle of the song? it's so fucking cute. also to whoever decided the distribution of the lines, thank you (it's interesting that when they cover a song it's usually sandeul and shinwoo the ones who sing the most? same thing happened with Eternity, kinda surprised jy doesn't sing more)

One month ago, I had the best night of my life.

It wasn't as perfect as it seems, for there were two downsides: One, B.A.P OT6 didn't happen. Two, I lost my first lightstick (though unofficial). It was the LS I used during my first concert last September, so I felt bad when I wasn't able to get it back. But regardless of these two things, it was a night worth remembering. A night worth sharing. And a night worth more than P1,590 😜😂

💚 B.A.P 💚 It's been a month since the night I saw Himchan's red hair 😜😂 And Jongup's No Mercy dancebreak! (Di ko siya napanood nung Show Champion bcs I lost my focus, fanchant lang ako ng fanchant non e 😂🔫). I promised myself that I will stay calm, but the moment the letters "B.A.P" flashed on the screen, I lost it. ㅋㅋㅋ Who knows how to calm down, anyway? 😂 It was my second time seeing B.A.P, but my blood rushed through my veins like it was the first. 😌 I think I was the only stan of B.A.P in rows B, C, and D. I heard things like, "B1A4 ba yan?" and "Sila talaga yung group na may kwenta yung mga music video" when the mv of Skydive was playing 😂😭💞 I tried so hard not to sing Skydive. Tfw you're chanting "SKYDIVE!" and then you want to continue Zelo's part but you're like, "nope, don't ruin the chant please" 😂 AHHHH I REALLY WANTED TO SING THE WHOLE SONG!!! 😭💓 Kaya lang naawa na ko sa mga katabi ko hehe 😂

💚 B1A4 💚 Baby goodnighttt, jaljayo goodnighttt, dancing dancing dancing in the moonlightttt 🎶💖 Thank you, B1A4, for singing one of my favorite songs 😭 It was one of the songs I loved when I was still new in kpop. And hearing it LIVE made me go back to year 2013. 💓 CNU was my bias, but Baro!!!!! And Gongchan 👀👀 LOL WHAT IS A BIAS LIST AGAIN??? 😂 Hello guys, Baro biased here. Hahahahaha.

✨ AOA ✨ Honestly, I'm not into girl groups and I don't know much of AOA's songs. But the thing I enjoyed the most? THEIR AEGYOS. 😭😭😭 Huhuhu they're too cute ㅜㅜ Though I don't know them as much as I know other girl groups, I still enjoyed their performances (definitely more than I did during Show Champion). 💕

💙 CNBLUE 💙 One month ago, Kang Minhyuk got his throne back. I barely got a glimpse of him, but seeing him playing drums was one of the highlights 😂 It was when I realized that buying seats on the right or left sides of the venue aren't much of a disadvantage when you're a fan of CNBLUE, let alone a Minhyuk stan. If I ever watch CNBLUE's solo concert, I'd definitely get a seat on the right. 😜😌💖 Also, I thought I'm going to swerve lanes because of Yonghwa... 😂 Lol. I had too much of his flying kisses, please give him a chill pill 😂😂

💚 SHINEE 💚 As expected from these legends!!! The whole arena went crazy when they were introduced. They opened their stage with View, and I was sure as hell I know that song but I couldn't think of the title, I was like, "HALA OMG IPE-PERFORM NILA 'TO? 😭 TEKA ANO NGANG TITLE NITO 😭😭 ALAM KO TALAGA 'TO E NASA CP KO 'TO 😭😭😭" and then the lyrics said "view" so that's when I remembered the title ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ Again, my bias list was wrecked 😂 Bes, I saw Taeman!!! Este, TAEMIN pala. Hahahahahaha! Grabe, SHINee left me in awe, but Taemin's dancing blew me away. 😂😭

👑 PSY 👑 People know him too well. It doesn't matter if you're into Kpop or not, the moment you hear the name "Psy", you immediately think of his hit songs Gangnam Style, Gentleman, and etc. Because of this, some Kpop fans became less appreciative of him. There are kpop fans who think, "he's too mainstream", "pag kpop psy agad sus", "siya lang naman kilala ng mga jeje fans", blahblah. One month ago, Psy changed my impression of him. I thought I wouldn't dance to Gangnam Style because I'm already sick of it, but... lol. 😂 HIS PERFORMANCES WERE 💯💯🔥🔥 Super enjoooooy! 😭 I didn't want it to end huhu. Also, he's such a nice person. 💖 I just feel like I need to emphasize HOW HUMBLE HE IS. He introduced Gangnam Style with the words, "the reason why I'm here and why all of you know me" (something like that 😭💓). He was tired and sweaty but he smiled at everyone ㅜㅜ Basta, he's a great artist. He's not just someone who sings catchy songs. I realized na mabait pala talaga siya ;;;A;;; huhu much love.

💙 BTOB 💙 Last, but definitely not the least! My 7 dorks, BTOB 💕💯 They are soooooo amazing!!! Still can't believe I had the chance to watch them live ㅠㅠㅠㅠ They really deserve to be loved by fans. Sobra sobra sobrang galing nila 😭 Not only their outstanding vocals, but also how they managed to make the fans sing with them. Let's admit, BTOB is underrated. But that night, everyone loved them. Everyone was screaming (especially for Sungjae haha) and everyone was having fun 🔥 I really enjoyed their stage. As in all of their songs! I hoped for Thriller and Insane, but at least I got Beep Beep and Wow 💞 I can't explain how much I enjoyed jamming to BTOB. Sobrang lit! I literally thought to myself "grabe ang saya" while I was screaming for them 😂😂 And their performance of I'll Be Your Man? Oh man, don't get me started. 😂 DEM VOCALS DEM RAP DEM EMOTIONS AHHHHHHHH MY EARS ARE BLESSED MY SOUL IS BLESSED EARTH IS SAVED. 😭😭💖 Surprisingly though, my bias didn't change 😂 Ilhoon has been my bias for 3 years and no one's replacing him lol. But Changsub!!! He stole Minhyuk's throne ㅋㅋㅋㅋ

Sabi ko, ayokong mag VIP kasi hindi naman solo concert ng B.A.P yun. But if I had known that those groups would make me THIS happy, I would have bought the whole concert for myself 💁 cheret hahahahaha.
