#Azula was fucking scared but she still threw herself into the fucking

Ozai died.

(A/B/O, The Fire Siblings, Mai and Ty Lee).

Where Ozai found out about Zuko's visits to Iroh. And he interrogates him until the Prince explodes, causing Ozai to be about to burn Zuko again until Azula appears on the scene, and she, being the Alpha of the pack (Zuko, Mai and Ty Lee) defends her brother from his father, although it was by instinct.

She roared at him and immediately got in front of Zuko, trying to protect him, and when Ozai saw that, he exploded in fury and began attacking the two.

Everything became a blur for the two siblings, but they both won even though they were seriously injured.

The guards arrive and only see Ozai with a large scar on his chest and a cut on his throat.

While Zuko is lying on the floor looking at the ceiling while he has a large burn on his arm and shoulder. And Azula is sitting with Zuko with a knife in her hand, and her leg and fingers completely burned.

Both are taken to the doctors while others take Ozai's body to bury it, although no one knew what happened.

And when Mai and Ty Lee heard the news, they immediately ran to the palace and found both Alphas passed out, and stayed with them until they wake up.

I hope you understand, because I didn't even understand anything :/

I don't think I have much to analyze about "Appa's Lost Days" but I feel like I deserve accolades for re-watching it as a true completionist with this re-watch because it's the one episode I've only seen one time & I did NOT wanna watch it again lol :)

I hyped myself up for how bad it was going to be (& got called a weak little bitch by my baby sister for being too pussy to re-watch it lmao) so I think that helped.

Hm....Takeaways.

I'm so fucking serious, if you support animals in circuses like....change or stay tf away from tbh. I will die on this hill. Followers in 2022 really are getting watered-down nihilistic & no longer super passionate Rose otherwise y'all would get an essay on this topic. I used to be such an activist, helping organize huge protests when the Ringling Brothers came to my city & shit. These days I'm not much of an activist BUT I'll still die on the hill that forcing animals to perform in circuses is sick & twisted.

I'll just leave you guys with this link with information about how elephants are trained in many circuses, & this link talks about how the Ringling bros trained tigers.

Yeah, watching Appa suffer is pretty rough.

But we do get to see Suki & the Kyoshi Warriors battle it out with the Dangerous Ladies & that's fun!

I don't actually care about defending Azula's evil actions from people who hate Azula & I think I've made that clear, BUT I care about talking about her evil ACCURATELY & I'll say that I remembered this being way worse / have seen people act like it was way worse. All Azula really did was seek out a fight with enemies in a war. It's not like she even personally contributed to Appa's suffering. She just got into it with the Kyoshi girlies after tracking Appa in the hopes of finding Aang. I don't know why some people think this means Azula is a chronic animal abuser or something. Azula doesn't actually show any signs of having strong feelings about animals in one way or another. We know she was mean to the turtle ducks as a kid (I have seen Azula fans argue that she wasn't. I disagree. She obviously threw stuff at them for her amusement. Oh well.) & she was willing to scare Appa, but it was more about engaging in the fight with Suki. It's not like she was obsessed with killing Appa. I just wanted to clarify my take on that having re-watched it.

Also, "don't you know fans just make flames stronger?" IS a good one & it's so cute how Ty Lee is like "good one Azula!" Azula & Ty Lee's dynamic continues to be adorable on the surface & fascinating beneath the surface. Like, yes, Ty Lee was under duress to join the team, but she's not being forced to compliment Azula 24/7. It probably is somewhat about self-preservation & making herself look good, I won't deny that. BUT I think Ty Lee also would've never become friends with Azula in the first place if she didn't like her. Let's not forget, Ty Lee also laughed at the prank on Mai & Zuko when they were kids. All we ever see is Ty Lee engaging in & enjoying Azula's cruel behavior. I just think that's interesting & I love them.

Hmm, I was initially like "I have nothing to say about this episode" but y'all know me I ALWAYS have something to say lol! Alright, for this informal review, Suki gets +1000 iconic behavior points for protecting & helping Appaa <3

If there was one thing no one could deny it was that princess Azula was hot.  She was hot headed, hot tempered, hot to look at. She was a fire hazard to most people.  Everyone was scared of her, everyone except (Y/n).  The two had struggled to find peace at first.  Classroom fights were common between the two, but who would have thought that the two most hot headed kids would be friends.  The pair would practice their bending in the castle for hours, both getting way too heated for either ones good. 

Azula had Mai and Ty Lee over for a “sleep over”.  The trio laid sprawled across the princesses room.  Ty Lee draped herself over the bed while Mai hunkered on the floor at the foot surrounded by blankets and pillows.  Azula sat in the window seat over looking the garden. 

“So Mai how are things with Zukooo?” Ty Lee teased. 

“I don’t know, I mean he’s nice,” Mai shrugged nonchalantly.

“Oh please you two were SO bugging at each other”

“Were not” 

The two bickered.  Azula clutched the pillow tighter to her stomach.  Was what she felt. . .  wrong? She felt guilt overcome her body.  No one else hid their relationship, so why did they?  Why did they share secret brushes and light kisses.  

“Azula?” Mai broke her train of thought.

“I’m sorry did you say something?��� she replied snappily

“Azula are you, are you crying?!” Ty Lee bolted up on the bed.

“What? No I don’t cry,” Azula huffed and turned to look out of the window”

“Azula talk to us”

“Yeah you haven’t said anything to us for a week, is everything okay?” Mai and Ty Lee poked and prodded into her mind.  Her head swan.

“I don’t feel well,” the princess held her head in her hands.  Her face went white, her fingers felt hot, but why? 

“Azula please don’t shut us out, we’re your friends” Mai begged.  They were her friends but they weren’t HER.  They didn’t smell like sweet fruits and their hands weren’t as soft against her cheek. Their eyes didn’t look at her with admiration like she did.  

“Leave me alone please,” Azula shook her heaqd.

“Azula-” Mai started

“I said leave me alone!” Azula yelled throwing her hand out accidentally sending flames at her friends.  Mai and Ty Lee looked at the princess shocked.  They gave each other a look and nodded.

“Talk to us when you’re ready,” The girls packed and left.  The room fell dark, the only light was cast from the moon.  Azula threw a robe on, keeping the hood over her head.  She walked out to the field, no THEIR field and laid on the grass.  She felt the blades run under her fingers.  She plucked a single dandelion and twirled it in her fingers. 

“You shouldn’t pick those you know”

There she stood, in a white silk gown that fell to her ankles.  The fabric clung to her every curve.  Her hair was laid gracefully, a crown of dandelions sat on her head. She looked ethereal. She almost glowed. 

“You look like a princess,” Azula stood up and took her hands.

“My love, don’t get soft on me now,” (Y/n) smiled softly.  Her face lit up but dropped when she saw the tears falling down her lovers cheeks.

“Oh Zula, honey no, don’t cry. Why are you crying?” Her hands were soft and gentle as she held Azula’s face.

“I regret keeping us a secret, I should have screamed it to the world.  I’m so sorry,” She cried.  Her walls and fire crumbled before her.  “You deserved to be shown as the prize that you are.  You deserved better,” Azula sobbed.

“Shh, come her loves,” (Y/n) held Azula tightly, She lowered the both of them to the ground and stroked Azulas hair. 

“You know, I loved this side of you, Your real side.  Your human side,” she got a chuckle from the other girl.  Azula pulled back.  Her face was red and her eyes were puffy.  

“DO you remember when I first showed you this place?” (Y/n) asked.  How could Azula forget.

(Y/n) threw blast after blast at Azula, who never let her guard down, but her breath was getting unsteady.  

“You’re weak” (Y/n) called

“I’m still stronger than you,” Azula fired back

“Never in a million years,” (y/n) smirked and sent a shockwave of fire at the girl.  Azula dodged but didn’t see the second wave coming.  She was knocked to the ground.  (Y/n) ran over, jumping with excitement.

“I told you!” she yelled.

“Shut up,” Azula rolled her eyes. (Y/n) laid next to her in the flowers. Azula rolled onto her side.  (Y/n) turned her head to look at her love.  Her raven hair had fallen from the bun and fell down her shoulders.  Her cheeks were red from the fight, lips swollen.  (Y/n) pushed Azula back onto the ground and cupped her cheek softly.  She caught her amber eyes before kissing her.  Azulas lips were always soft, like velvet against hers.  Every muscle in Azulas body relaxed as (Y/n) led her in a kiss filled with nothing short of love and passion.  (Y/n) trailed her lips down Azula’s jaw and to her neck.  Azula let out a soft sigh and laced her fingers in (y/n)’s hair.  A hand tugged her robes up.

“How could I forget, I lost my virginity to you here,” Azula actually smiled at the memory.

“And what did I tell you?

“You wanted to be buried here, surrounded by the golden dandelions.  You wanted to be apart of a piece of beautiful earth,” Azula turned her gaze away.

“Zula, listen to me.  I waited for this moment all of my life.  To love you but it’s over.  You have to let me go,” (Y/n) pleaded.

“I can’t do that!” Azula snapped yanking away from her girlfriend. 

“Azula please, I’m gone now, I can’t be here with you like this forever.  I can only come to your world on special occasions. Azula you can’t keep coming here and staring at that fucking rock.  You need to sleep, you need to eat, you need to move on, to love another,” (Y/n) reached out for her.

“I can’t just forget you like that,” Azula looked at her. The waterfall of tears already tumbling down her face.

“My Love I never said forget me.  I don’t want you to forget me, I want you to move on.  Keep our locket safe, keep our memory alive but please my love I can’t bear to see you in pain,” (Y/n) placed a phantom kiss on her loves head. “Talk to your friends, they need you just as much as you need them,” The girl smiled. 

“Now come,” she sat on the ground and patted her lap.  Azula laid her head on the girls lap, feeling her fingers brush through her hair.  Mai and Ty Lee approached Azula as the sun began to rise.  They both caught sight of the stone

Here lies (Y/n) (Y/l/n) the best soldier the fire nation has ever seen May she rest in peace amongst the golden dandelions. 

Azula rolled over and looked up at her friends. “I’m ready to talk”

This fic is for the 1k writting challege from @fromthewatertribe. I had so much fun writing this and it’s my first finished fic in 2 years. This fic plays in an Modern University AU, I hope you don’t mind. And sorry if the characters are a little out of character, I tried my best.

It was finally the long awaited summer break. In the last weeks of the semester Mai couldn’t concentrate on anything besides on how to work up the courage to ask her crush out. “Summer break is the perfect time to hang out with Ty Lee without the stress of college”, Mai thought to herself, at least that’s what she thought happened. Azula overheard what Mai said and smirked, “Should I help you? I’m sure Ty Lee would like to hang out with you too.” Mai sighed and answered coldly, ”If it’s real help and not something for you to take advantage of, sure.” Azula laughed and pouted at the same time, “Damn, you caught me. Just kidding! I overheard Ty Lee talking about how she wants to go to that new bubble tea place, you should invite her there.” Mai, typical of her, didn’t react to Azula’s laugh and pouting. “A bubble tea date, huh? Doesn’t sound like a bad idea. I will message her today.” Azula grinded, “Good Luck, even if you don’t need it. I’m glad I could help you!” Azula waved Mai goodbye, as she had her own business to take care of. Mai took out her phone and messaged Ty Lee.

“Hey, do you have any plans for summer break?” Ty Lee replied instantly. 

“Hi, Mai! No, I’m totally free.”

“Good, when would you like to hang out with me at the new bubble tea place?”

“OMG! YES! How about directly tomorrow, at 4 pm?”

“Sure, let’s meet directly there!”

“Got it! I look forward to it!”

Wow, that went better than expected, Mai thought to herself and texted Azula. 

“Ty Lee agreed to go to the place with me”

“Congrats! I told you, she is also into you”

“Maybe. We will see how it will go.” 

The next day…

Mai got ready and put on her makeup. Her cat eye was so sharp it could kill a man, and the darkest lipstick, she owned, could scare off anyone. Maybe not the most fitting for a date, but it made Mai feel the most confident. She threw all the necessary stuff in her purse and put on her bad bitch heels. At 3:55 Mai was already at the meeting spot, so she decided to call Ty Lee: ” Where the fuck are you?” “Space doesn’t really exist, so I’m nowhere. Life is built on social constructs and, since there’s no way to know if we’re really alive or if it’s just an illusion, I can’t be anywhere.” “Ty Lee.” “Yeah, sorry, I got caught up but I’ll be there soon.” “Good. I will wait for you.” 10 minutes passed by and Ty Lee rolled up to the bubble tea cafe on her roller skates. Typical Ty Lee, Mai thought as she smiled slightly. It wasn’t common for Mai to smile, so Ty Lee appreciated every moment she saw the smile of her crush. Mai scanned the bubbly girl with her sharp eye from head to toe. Ty Lee was wearing a crimson red sleeveless crop top. Matching to the top was the white skater skirt with small pale pink and rose colored polka dots on it. Her roller skates were a pale pink as well. The smile on the face of Mai slightly increased, causing Ty Lee to blush. “You look beautiful”, Mai complimented her crush. “Thanks! You also look great”, Ty Lee replied. Mai wasn’t the type to reciprocate compliments, but as Ty Lee was her crush a weak heat spread itself across Mai’s cheeks. Still blushing Mai opened the door to the cafe and indicated for Ty Lee to come in, “After you.” Ty Lee smiled and did a small curtsy, which caused Mai to giggle. The two girls found a table in the corner and took a seat there. Mai couldn’t stop looking at Ty Lee while she was inspecting the menu. “I will take the Mango Milk Tea, what about you?” Ty Lee reached out the menu to Mai. While blushing Mai took the menu and looked at it “The Yuzu Matcha tea sounds interesting, I will take that.” “Noted.” A familiar voice interrupted the two love birds. Ty Lee looked up shocked to see Zuko, who was in an apron holding a notebook with a pen. “Zuko? What are you doing here?” Mai asked nonchalantly. Azula’s brother sighed and replied “I work here, if you haven’t noticed it. It’s Uncle’s cafe after all.” Ty Lee processed all the things Zuko said “Oh my god, that’s so cool!” “Yeah, you could say it like that. Your tea will be ready shortly” and with these words Zuko left the two lovebirds alone. “Azula never told me that Zuko works at this cafe, well whatever, she probably has her reasons,” Mai said something after listening to Ty Lee’s and Zuko’s chit-chat. After 10 minutes of waiting Zuko brought Ty Lee and Mai their bubble teas. Ty Lee was super excited and instantly started drinking it. “Wow, it tastes delicious! I didn’t expect anything less from Uncle Iroh.” Mai smiled at excited Ty Lee and also took a sip of her Yuzu Matcha tea. Her eyes widened at how good it tasted. “You are right! It’s really good.” While enjoying the teas Ty Lee and Mai talked and laughed. Zuko took a glance at the table, where they were sitting and noticed that he never saw Mai smile so much. She must really like Ty Lee, he thought. In that moment Mai noticed Zuko and sent him a death stare, which caused the boy to shift his focus back on the bubble tea he was preparing. It was starting to get dark and the girls were ready to leave. Ty Lee pulled out her wallet, prepared to pay for her tea. Mai placed her hand on Ty Lee’s and with a smile on her face said “Don’t worry about it, it’s on me.” Ty Lee grinded back and nodded. As soon as the girls exited the cafe, Ty Lee hugged Mai and whispered in her ear “I enjoyed today a lot! I don’t mind hanging out with you again.” Mai hugged Ty Lee back and smiled. “I know one more thing which could make this day ever better.” Mai released her crush from the hug and slowly placed her dark-colored lips on Ty Lee’s pink ones. Ty Lee, initially shocked about Mai’s forwardness, let herself lose in the embrace of the kiss and felt the warmth rise to her face. Ty Lee placed her hands on Mai’s neck and broke the kiss for a moment to catch a break. She looked up into Mai’s eyes and said shyly “You were right, it did make the day better.”
