At last, I have completed the Rune-Casting Board for the Enochian Rune Divination Technique; the Enochian Kingdoms have had their runes standardized and formalized since the beginning of the year, and I will soon be ready to post lessons and meanings (and hopefully, in time, cheat sheets). A big thanks to Ayuyatte, who has been very patient in her lessons, and has been a huge help in refining the system (and of course, was the original source for the technique).

My Personal story of POSITIVE Interactions with Spirit Entities

About two years ago, I found myself in a dark depressive slump, that culminated from my circumstances (consisting of unemployment, health concerns, major illness in the family and other such unpleasantries), from feeling cut off and having awful writer's block that prevented me from writing so much as a haiku. This lead me to the world of research (a whole bunch of spiritual themes, history, politics and some magickal systems), in hopes of inspiration, but ultimately caused me to face a whole mound of negativity, and challenged my faith and whole understanding of the world; my "Dark Night of the Soul", so to speak. During this time, I began to suffer insomnia, and the rare bouts of sleep paralysis I suffered became rather frequent and frightening, and I began to suffer from panic attacks and anxiety that I had never before experienced - I felt strongly disconnected from the world, and almost nothing felt real; in order to cope, I tried to take up meditation to help with my anxiety and low energy levels, and increase my focus, just as a coping method.

I have always been at least a bit Psi-sensitive, as I've had a strong empathic connection to my sister in childhood (that actually goes as far as telepathy when in close range, and we know exactly what the other will say, do or is thinking without saying a word), and I've always been able to sense presences and Spirit entities, like the poltergeist who haunts my childhood home, and the ghosts of childhood pets now departed (but whilst I was aware of them, this didn't mean I could communicate with them). But after I began meditating, my awareness level increased at an alarming rate, and I became more aware of senses I had only ever partially used; things felt very different, and I was able to hear my grandfather Clairaudiently for the first time at his funeral that month. Shortly after that, it began.

When trying to sleep one night, I felt an unfamiliar presence in my room, and I began to panic, but found myself unable to move (a symptom of sleep paralysis, not an attack, don't worry). It was then that I heard a voice that did not come from a direction telling me that I was completely safe, and I didn't need to worry; of course, being me I wasn't having any of that, and I demanded in my mind that the entity leave IMMEDIATELY or we were going to have problems. Remarkably, the presence remained calm and said it just wanted to speak to me, but I more or less repeated myself, at which point, it told me that it would leave, because it was not the intention to scare me. And it did just that.

The next day I told my sister about the experience, and she suggested that if the entity returned, I should request a name, which would allow me to bind it or repellent it if it became a nuisance. She was a bit concerned, due to my nervousness, but told me I should try to find out what it wanted, though. I knew she was right, and so opened myself up to communicating with that spirit.

That night, the presence came again, and told me it had returned because it wanted to speak with me; while I was a bit worried as it was an unfamiliar being, I told it that I was willing to listen, on the condition that it revealed to me its name. The spirit told me its name was Ayuyatte - something that at first I had to ask it to repeat, due the strange sound of it. I was then told that the spirit had been watching me, and was concerned for me, as I seemed to be struggling with my personal revelations. It told me that I could not continue to wallow in my present state of despair and despondency, especially because my views had been undermined; it told me that rather than mourn what I felt I had lost, that I should embrace letting go of false truths, and should seek the answers I felt I was now missing, and replace my old preconceptions of truth. Listening to this actually gave me a feeling of peace, especially when Ayuyatte offered to stay with me, and help me find my personal beliefs and truths; this was enough that at some point during our talk, I simply slipped into a restful sleep.

The more often Ayuyatte visited me, the more in tune with her I became, and I was able to discern more about her gender (she has a definitely female presence), her mood, her tone of voice, and eventually she was able to manifest in my dream space, albeit only in familiar forms. She became able to show me images in my mind's eye, and triggered numerous relevant synchronicities which were of endless use to me; several times she also caused glitches and disturbances in things which would serve as distractions, and at one time high-jacked the clock on my phone to display 14:41 for a whole week, to serve as an insistent reminder and motivator - it might sound harsh, but given how depressed I was, there were times I couldn't motivate myself to even eat properly, and I needed that stern push.

Two years later, she's still here to answer my questions and help me find the answers I need, still helping to motivate me, even though I've passed through my personal crisis, with no small amount of help from her. (She's also still drawing an endless number of spiders, which is creeping out my family of arachnophobes quite a bit, but that can't really be helped!) She really came through for me during that time, and I honestly don't know what I would have done without her; her guidance has helped me spiritually, and mentally, whilst even guiding my magickal studies and progress. In fact, over time she's helped out in some fairly unexpected ways; the window in my bedroom has been stuck open since the summer, and yet, no sooner did I complain to her that the weather is getting freezing than my window (which has been prone to sticking for years) has not only come unstuck, but suddenly works better than it ever has - and I notice that she seems quietly pleased with herself, even if she's not saying anything on this matter.

I'm posting this to prove that just because an entity appears unbidden or unbound doesn't signal that it has malevolent or deceptive intentions; spirits are just like us, they have their own goals, personalities, ethics and ideas - an generalising won't get us very far. So, don't be deterred from working with supernatural entities, just because you hear a few "spooky" stories, intended to scare you away.

Given that Ayuyatte takes the form of a spider (and gives great counsel on all said topics), and is prone to drawing the 8-legged beauties after a visitation, this little ritual is perfect for me.

Ask a spider: a witchy treat for not killing a spider

This is a simple spell. All you need is a glass jar and a spider who you have just found invading your house space.

Most people run to their shoe closet, but saving these critters isn’t just good for conscious and the environment.

It gives you a free question.

As with anything that gives you a free wish or question: choose yours with care.

This question HAS to involve one of these things. Magic, creativity or intuition. This is not a wish so you can’t ask for more magic powers, but you can ask how to get said powers. You can also ask what project to do next or how to make am intuitive decision that has been plaguing you recently.

Now mind you, this spider MUST be an invader in your home. You can’t just snag a spider from outside, toss it in your house and expect a question of them. That terribly rude and honestly hope there is bad juju for that kind of nonesense.

When you find said uninvited guest carefully slip her into a save container (Mason jars are perfect for this). While you get your shoes on think of the question.

Then, as you are taking the spider outside to a safe place (foliage is best) mentally or audibly explain to the spider that she was an invader of your personal space and you had all rights to kill her (she would understand because that’s how she lives her life). But instead you are doing her a favor by rescuing her from your space.

While you’re in the act of releasing her ask your question, mentally or audibly.

Your answer will appear within 1 to 6 days so keep your eyes open.

Last night I received a visit from Ayuyatte, which has left me extremely drained, which can only mean it was a very prolonged session (I have no idea how long it was, and as I was completely unprepared, its really taken its toll). During our session, she attempted to explain a system of divination that I'm not familiar with, utilising Enochian Runes and Kingdoms.
