Rakul Preet Singh Excited To Try Out Poha And Jalebis In Bhopal 

Rakul Preet Singh is surely having a blast as she moves from one film set to another. The actress has started shooting for Doctor G with Ayushmann Khurrana in Bhopal, and just like Ayushmann, it is Rakul’s first film in the city of lakes.

Rakul Preet Singh spoke to E Times today and shared her excitement about shooting in Bhopal. The actress is excited about her first visit to the city since she has heard so much about it, and she also wants to try out the poha and jalebi for which Bhopal is famous for, “I had heard so much about Bhopal being a city of lakes and as soon as I landed, I experienced its beauty first-hand. My drive to the hotel was so beautiful. It is such a green and pretty city. I can’t wait to explore it. I also want to try the poha and jalebi that it’s famous for; I’ve heard so much about it.”

Doctor G is directed by Anubhuti Kashyap and backed by Junglee Pictures. Along with Ayushmann Khurrana, the film also sees Shefali Shah and the actress can’t wait to nose-dive into the film, “I have waited for so long to begin shooting for the film, which came to a halt due to the lockdown. I’m thrilled and look forward to working with Ayushmann, Shefali ji (Shah) and the entire crew. It’s an amazing script and close to my heart. I can’t wait to be directed by Anubhuti Kashyap.”

Apart from Doctor G, Rakul also has Attack and Ajay Devgn’s Mayday. She even has Indra Kumar’s comedy Thank God starring Ajay Devgn and Sidharth Malhotra.
