Brief rundown of my original writing WIPs (bc I keep posting abt them with little to no context):

The Curse of Aya

Plot follows the latest of a cycle where an eldritch celestial being, Aya, is forcibly split into their two aspects, one of whom reincarnates as a mortal. In this form, they must defeat the physical embodiment of the Curse every time it shows up, while the other can act as a guide but not directly interfere. In her current incarnation, Tanah- the aspect of Aya who is forced to be mortal- had about a decade to prepare for the fight, until an attack by Curse-following cultists causes her to lose most of that time, and now must be ready to defeat the Curse in less than a year.

Protagonists:

Tanah (they/them in general, she/her in current incarnation, celestial spirit human body)

Iris (they/them, but in a "genderless cosmic entity" way)

Riah (xe/xem, human)

Nyssa (she/her, fire dragon)

Melion (he/him, elf)

Aimer (domestic wolf)

Calm and Chaos

A quest-to-restore-balance-to-the-world-type plot. The main character finds out their family heirloom is the key to resurrecting a deity. She and three divinely-appointed bodyguards must travel to find the deity of calm to resurrect them, and if they succeed, awaken the deity of chaos from their deep slumber.
