Malachi: That's a dumb idea! Who'd want to go to school on Saturdays?

Sofie: I'm sorry! I'll fix it!

Ida Juana went to make lunch but the fridge was empty, so Teo was sent out to buy groceries.

He bought himself a new watch, too.

Jose Iana's just a little kid, but he's a little kid who'll play catch with him, and that's what Teo's fun bar needs right now.

Sofie offers makeovers to all the kids who come home from school with her and the other members of her household.

Sofie: It's okay, I can fix it! Then I'll cut your hair-

I wondered what this was about for a while, but it turns out Gerry dated Candy (who's Scarlett's aunt) back in the day.

Despite Vince's gatecrashing, Ida Juana's party went well.

Vince: I saw Dré's here and I know her. She's like my step-mum or something.

Ida Juana: Dré? There's someone here who says he knows you!

Dré: What do you want, Vince? You can't just crash a party.

Vince: Looks like I have, so...

Dré: What do you want? You should just go-

Vince: No, wait. You can't just ship me off at your convenience. We're family-

Dré: You made it pretty clear you don't consider me your family after I left the ranch.

Vince: Anyway, I came to tell you to stop poisioning Andrei against me! You've really got him under your thumb, haven't you?

Dré: Andrei's practically an adult, Vince. He makes his own decisions. Have you ever thought that if he doesn't want to spend as much time with you as he used to it's because he's realising for himself what a nasty person you are?

Vince: You shut up!

Dré: Get out, Vince.

Vince: I'll do what I want!

Vince: And you'd better stop turning my brother against me, or you'll be sorry.

Gerry: Get out.

Vince: Who are you?

Gerry: Gerry Mander. I live here. Also I'm the mayor. You've gatecrashed a party and assulted one of our guests. Now get out before I call the police.

Ida Juana decided to throw a party to introduce Dré to some of her friends. She didn't expect Vince to crash the party! (I honestly have no idea where he came from!)

Ida Juana: More know of him. Andy Bellum's one of my oldest friends.

Ida Juana: It doesn't look like the sun's coming out again anytime soon... want to get something to eat at the lunch counter? My shout.

Dré: ... Andrei's not close to all of his siblings, but he and Laycian are incredibly close. ... He's a good boy, Laycian. His mother was probably my best friend. Oh - there he is.

Ida Juana: I'll go say hi! I wonder if he knows my Teo? They're about the same age.

Ida Juana: Hi! I'm Ida Juana. I'm just having lunch with Dré - you know her, right? And do you know my boy Teo? I think you're about the same age. He's fourteen.

Laycian: I'll be fourteen next month. It's nice to meet you, Ms...

Ida Juana: Oh please, Ida Juana, or just Ida's fine. Would you like to come and have some lunch with us?

Ida Juana went out for a wander once everyone was off at work and school, and ended up meeting and befriending Dré Reimer. She has this habit of befriending/collecting people who are friendless/vulnerable in some way - Sharla, Scarlett, and now Dré.

If Hi ever wonders whether Gerry and Helen would be up for some swinging, he's wise enough not to say it out loud. But what if...?

Tiago might be the same age as Sally, but he gets on better with Axel. Sally's very happy with her own company.

Teo's finding school and dance and homework and having a social life a bit hard at the moment. I'm sure he'll figure it out.

Ida Juana: You got water in my ears!

Hi: Oh, what a shame.

Ida Juana: The price for that is a tickle from the ticklemonster and you're about to pay up!

Teo: Sally, why is homework so un-fun?

Sally: Because you're looking at it wrong. It's a challenge for your brain, not just something that needs to get done.

Teo: Well, my brain's sure been challenged alright!

Tiago: I think we should go to bed, Axel.

Helen had a woohoo want. Gerry only seems able to roll a date want, which will have to wait until tomorrow.

Gerry: Did Sofie do your hair?

Sally: Yeah. I'm not sure if I like it, but she says she can put it back if I want.

Gerry: Well I think you look beautiful.

Sally: You're my dad - you have to say that.

Axel: Sofie says I look grown up!

Axel: I wish I was big enough to use the grown up oven!

Tiago: Well you're too little - even I'm too little. But you could ask if you can help with cooking something if the grown up does the actually cooking bit.

Teo fits in some dance practise before school.

Aster: Hi, Auntie Helen.

Helen: Hi Aster. It's lovely to hear from you... but shouldn't you be at school?

Aster: I'm off sick, but I'm bored, so I thought I'd call you.

Helen: If you're bored, surely you're well enough to be in school?

Aster: They said because I've had a fever, my temperature has to be normally for twenty-four hours before I can go back.

Sally: I know I'm not Sofie or Teo, Feliz, but we can still play, right?

This is not actually a promotion... let's just say Teo's doing very well in his dance class. Also, the pictures are in the wrong order, but never mind.

Sofie: What do you think?

Sally: I think I like it... it's just very different.

Sofie: Well, give it some time, and if you don't like it I can always put it back like it was.

Sofie: Don't look so worried! You look super grown up, I promise.

Sofie: There you go! You don't have to wear it like that all the time if you don't want to, but it'll keep your hair out of your face for school and stuff, now it's getting longer.

Axel's glad his toy cars have all made the journey upstairs safely. The question now is: has the garage just moved locations, or should he play that this is a brand new garage?

Sofie wanted a makeover chair, so I cleared out the old playroom/hallway (most of the toys went in bedrooms, and I got rid of the old potty that was still there!) and put one in for her. She's enjoying trying it out on the little kids.

Hi: Hey, come on in - Ida's just finishing up dinner.

Hi figures he might as well make friends with Osprey since his wife is one of Ida's closest friends.

Ida Juana: Helen! Put some clothes on! We have guests!

Helen: Geez, I'm going to get my dress out of the dryer. Since when were you a prude, anyway?

Osprey: So... Teo's your son, Ida Juana?

Ida Juana: Yeah, Teo, Sofie and Tiago are mine, and then Sally and Axel are Helen and Gerry's. We never exactly planned to raise our families together, but Helen and I were sorority sisters and we lived together after college, and then the guys and babies just... came along.

Ida Juana: So, how was the honeymoon?

Scarlett: It was wonderful. We almost didn't want to come home, but, you know, there's stuff to do at home - a garden to tend to-

Osprey: Grandchildren to dote on... Children to look after.

Ida Juana: Oooh, you have grandchildren?!

Osprey: Well, one. Cara and Robbie's daughter, Raven.

Ida Juana: I heard Robbie got arrested.

Osprey: Yeah. Cara won't answer my calls. It's like the three of them have just hunkered down together since it happened. She doesn't believe he did it, of course.

Ida Juana: Do you?

Osprey: I don't know. If the police had enough evidence to charge him, doesn't that tell you something, though...?

Ida Juana wanted to make friends with Osprey (she and Scarlett have been BFFs for years) so she invited him and Scarlett over for dinner.
