The Legend of Awesomest Maximus - National Lampoons

Hi, this is Richard’s Reviews.

As the title suggests this is a parody movie by National Lampoon. The title is pretty expainatory, Awesomest Maximus.  I enjoy these parodies as long as they make a good parody, and do not sit on the skit too long. This does so with the popular movies at the time. The skits are just about right in timing. They make fun of movies like 300, High School Musical, Cloverfield,  Newlyweds, and many others. I enjoy watching Will Sasso, he is a very good comedian.  The story follows Awesomest Maximus against the Persions and Xirxi. Parody level is smart, and funny. Thanks, and I hope you enjoyed the review.

Will Sasso has not had a lot of luck in movies on his own. We see him play a side character, and play it well. I have followed him from the days of Mad TV. He is a comedic genius. He is even able to make fun of himself, playing an episode where he lost weight to be healthy and lost his comedic groove. The movie itself may be a bit raunchy as the National Lampoons parody's have been a bit far.

Rating - 3 Stars out of 5

I know people really are against parody movies, but I enjoy them since they are able to poke fun at movies. Sometimes they get me interested in watching movies I have never considered watching. I say give it a try.

I think it was 3 years ago, I first saw this Captain America print. I wanted to get it, but missed it. This year, the artist for it, Gary Zhu was in town. Finally managed to get this print and meet Gary. Awesome and cool guy.

I saw this Vader on the bunting poster, & I asked around people at the con, is this still available? "Nah, man. That Vader by Derrick was from a few years back. It's not displayed on his table." My Mama always said it doesn't hurt to ask, so I asked, and Derrick said yeah, he has it in his folder! Woo-hoo!

Adam DeVine, born as Adam Patrick DeVine, is an actor, comedian, singer, screenwriter, and producer based in America. The actor is famous for playing the role of Adam DeMamp in Comedy Central’s television series Workaholics from 2011 to 2017. He played the role for 10 episodes, and also was the co-creator, writer, and executive producer of the series. Later, Adam did his movie debut through film Mama’s Boy in year 2007. In the film he portrayed the role of Alhorn. DeVine, then, appeared as Chris in Savage Steve Holland’s film Ratko: The Dictator’s Son in year 2009. In the same year, the actor had small roles in TV series; Better Off Ted, and Samantha Who?

Eventually in 2011, Adam DeVine appeared as Ephor 1 in film, National Lampoon’s 301: The Legend of Awesomest Maximus. Besides, he had a minor role of Tobey in an episode of Traffic Light entitled “Stealth Bomber”. Further, DeVine portrayed Adam DeMamp in Comedy Central’s TV series Workaholics. Watching Awesomest Maximus was a horrible waste of an afternoon. It was insanely inappropriate and a dumb comedy. The guy I watched it with absolutely loved it, so I guess I could recommend it to the men who stumble upon this blog. Women, you can take it or leave it. If you like the comedy in Date Movie, Epic Movie, and so on, you might appreciate this, but it's at least a whole step down from even those ones.
