Subnautica brainrot is in full swing again... which means that I've updated the characters' designs and even changed their names

Recently I played through the story again and got motivated to write another fic about these guys... hopefully my motivation will last long enough to finish it.

sunbeam's death made me so unreasonably sad that i cope by drawing a design for avery and making up scenarios in my head where he survives. i'm not making clean ref for a pseudo oc so i'll leave these sketches here

random headcanons: i gave him some sort of uniform to make him look more serious (he's a captain after all), nothing smart about this colour scheme i just like it. yellow bits were influenced by the ship's name lol

he's 35-40, has early stages of "old man decease" (complains about politics, tells old jokes), very tall probably. more or less wise. from a more community-oriented place than the capitalist hell named alterra which makes him more empathetic and is the reason why he openly dislikes it (but still cares about regular people)

PLEASE someone stop me I've successfully fallen back into Subnautica brainrot so the writing is happening now but I also have 50 OTHER IDEAS I WANT TO START. I have ideas for a prequel AND TWO sequels for Reconstituted, an Avery lives slow burn fic, a fic where Ryley has amnesia after crashing (IT WOULD WORK so well because you open the game for the first time and everything is "wtf is happening is that my ship? What's Alterra????" You open the Aurora blackbox and see the name Ryley Robinson and go "who tf is that- is that me???") And I spent two hours last night in creative building a base for my fanfiction blorbos and it's NOT DONE I have to go to the Aurora and a few bases/pods to grab more deco and I need to give them so many plants

Meet my Avery Quinn design, I accidently made him look feminine but I swear he's a man, a bit more muscular than Ryley (Ryley's built like me it's not hard to have more muscles than him) and has vitiligo :D
