NOTE: Hello!!! I'm back with one of my stories, which I usually imagine before going to sleep XD. Actually, I had thought about this story, while I was writing the 'experiment 56' parts. You know this is a pilot, if you like it and I see that it has a good feedback, I'll keep going. From now on I warn you that I am not very expert in this Navi culture, but I did my best. And sorry for the spelling. English is not my mother tongue.

Protecting Pandora Association or by its initials PPA. The association dedicated to the welfare and conservation of pandora. Our goal is to make pandora our home, in a safe and healthy way. Respecting the life that already inhabits the planet. We want humans to be able to coexist and adapt to pandora. Trying not to make the same mistakes we made on earth.

"Are you serious Dr. Williams? The RDA is doing a good job here on Pandora," says General Ardmore, sitting in her office. This was one of the many quotes, complaints and scoldings that Dr. Williams had, towards the RDA and their inappropriate work in Pandora.

"A good job? General Ardmore, they are annihilating Pandora's wildlife and its creatures. Everything. They are supposed to be adapting, not attacking pandora" the doctor complained, the annoyance in his voice was palpable. "we can modify some things, but you don't have the right to question my work here in the RDA" says the general. Taking a sip from his coffee cup.

"Yes, I have all the rights I want. Because I am the director of the PPA, I am the one who signs the checks so that the RDA can continue to survive. And I'm going to make a lot of changes." Dr. Williams was very sure of his plan, and the disaster that was happening in Pandora was going to end.

General Ardmore kept silent, she knew it was better to keep quiet. The PPA was the association that sent money to the RDA to survive on Pandora, for their research and civilization on this new planet.

"Listen to me carefully because I am not going to repeat myself. You are going to stop every attack towards the life of pandora, be it towards the wildlife, the navis and when I speak of all the navi, you are also going to stop the attacks on the tulkun. EVERYTHING HAS TO STOP" the dr, Williams continues speaking. "In addition I am going to send a group of people who will be in charge of keeping an eye on your teams. And they will notify me of everything that is going on." General Ardmore, swallowed deeply and nodded her head down.

A Quaritch was sitting on his bed, as he analyzed some of the bruises on his arms. After the altercation he had with Jake Sully two months ago, he had gotten his non-son, 'Spider', to come with him to the base. The boy had tried to convince his "father" to stop chasing Jake Sully, but he was still analyzing the issue. He was in no physical condition to act and get into trouble.

He heard several knocks on the door. "colonel general Ardmore is looking for you" mansk says, as he peeks in the door. "did he tell you what he wanted to talk to me about?" asks Quaritch to one of his squadron members. "she didn't tell me anything, but she looks kind of upset" says mansk, walking away. Quaritch gets up and heads straight for the exit. He is surprised when he sees General Ardmore outside the rooms. " good morning general" Ardmore interrupts " we are going to have some changes here at the base… well at RDA".

"The PPA association wants to make some changes, and that includes sending staff to supervise our teams," says Ardmore. "With all due respect, but my team doesn't need any supervisors," Quaritch says with an annoyed tone. "But you will, it would be a new member of your team." Ardmore begins to explain everything to quaritch, what was going on and what was going to happen in the RDA. Ardmore hands him some documents, where it is written his new rules to follow. "This can't be," says Quaritch. "Believe me I don't agree with this, but they are the ones giving the money. So we have to play their game" Ardmore walks away down the hall. "The new member of your team arrives tomorrow" says Ardmore as he disappears from sight.

Damn protective association, and their damn rules. A new member, and them watching them all the time?. He wasn't going to stand for this. But he had to, he had no choice. Quaritch entered the common room area. All members of his team were there. "Good fellows…. We are joined by a new member" he says with a cheeky, sarcastic grin.

The RDA and PPA had greatly improved the technology of the transport ships from earth to pandora. Before it was 6 years to arrive, then it improved and was 6 months and currently it was a week. And there was Y/N getting up from her induced sleep. You were a little dizzy, and you were nauseous. The doctors on the transport ship helped stabilize you. And then they moved you to the recessed area, so you could get acclimated to gravity again. A noticeable change in the technology was the new exopacks, which were now super small tubes that were placed in the nose and the rest of the plastic tube was placed in the ears until it was connected to the oxygen machine at the waist. Your mouth was left uncovered, but the oxygen you breathed was enough to keep your lungs from collapsing.

You were transferred with other members of the PPA team, all of them human. You could see through the window how the sun was approaching on the horizon, while everyone was preparing to descend from space orbit to the planet. You had never seen anything like this before, you were in shock. You sat in your seat and waited for the descent to begin.

"Well team, today the newest member of our squadron arrives" says Quaritch, trying to sound positive. But the faces of the team members were something else. They didn't seem to have another member in the group, let alone one to supervise them. They had enough, with the scientists monitoring their new avatar bodies. "You don't know who it will be? Or what he looks like?" asks lyle, as he continues to get ready for the day. " I don't know, but I imagine it will be someone on our level" Quaritch tries to be funny, but manages to get the team to scoff a little. "That's enough… keep getting ready. I'll go to the welcome area and greet the new member" Quaritch leaves the room. "this is going to suck" says Soldier Lopez, as he laughs.

The landing didn't take long, and the entire PPA team arrived safely at the RDA facility. You were a little nervous, you knew what your mission was. You were an ambientalist who had just graduated, you were the youngest in your class. And even in this very team you were the youngest. Many could not explain why they recruited you, but your dedication and preparation got you here at Pandora. As soon as the doors of the ship opened, you were speechless. It was a beautiful landscape, you couldn't wait to investigate the place. Of course, they had already told you that you were going to be part of a group and that they were avatars. And that they were Marines and blah blah blah. You had confidence in yourself, but you couldn't lie… you were scared to death.

Outside the ship were the leaders of each team. They were all human soldiers, except Quaritch, his squadron were the only avatar recoms on the base. The other avatars still had their human bodies. Miles stood there, watching as a number of scientists got off the ship. To his impression, most of them were strong, tall and looked imposing, even some women were like that. He figured if he got someone like that, well… it would be good for the group.

"Colonel Miles Quaritch?" asked a manager." Yes, that's me," Quaritch said as he stepped forward. "Well, here's your new member," said the officer, standing in front of him was a strong, tall man. Quite a perfect soldier. "Nice to meet you" said Miles offering his hand as a greeting, to the boy, until the manager interrupted him. The officer takes you by the arm and pushes you in front of Quaritch. "Y/N…mmm member code 786. Yes, this is your new member." The man drops you in front of this very very tall blue man who was looking at you with a disappointed look on his face.

" Hello!!!! My name is Y/N, I am your new supervisor" he says with a wide smile. This must be a joke, it's the only thing that comes to mind. They just gave him a bunny." H-hello my name is" Miles tries to speak, until you reach over take his hand and give it a squeeze. " Colonel Miles quaritch, I know all about you, it's nice to meet you" you say without taking off your stupid grin. "Ahhh, it's nice to meet you" Quaritch tries to analyze you. You were small, you looked smart and if you could hold half your weight, that was amazing. He knew his team wouldn't like this.

"Are you sure I'm the team you're looking for?" asks Quaritch still in a state of shook. You look down at your papers, then back up at him. "Yes, look!!!" you raise your arms, so he can see the papers. Oh my goodness, you were adorable. Miles takes the papers in his hands and starts reading. "oh, that's right… well we have to deal with this chihuahua" says the man, and you look at him somewhat surprised. He just called you a chihuahua. "Well, y/n….follow me I'll introduce you to your new team" says Quaritch starting to walk inside the base. While he is walking, you were running.

He led you through the hallways, he was quiet. You were pretty sure, he was not happy with your presence. It's not like you are the ideal warrior, you would get fatigued if you ran for 10 minutes and that's if it was a good day. You just wished his team was nice. You had never been in a good group, they always pushed you away from the others, and didn't include you. " Are they nice?" you ask as you try to keep up with him. " No promises" Quaritch says as he keeps walking. Before long you arrived at the door to the bedroom area.

It was a huge door, as it opened you saw how big the place was. Well, for you it sure was big, but for them it was something of normal size. In the middle was a sitting area, in another corner some tables and board games. And all around were the rooms. Each one had the name of each member of the team, but what impressed you the most was the large window on the ceiling. You could see the whole sky of Pandora. And a beautiful illumination came into the whole area. In this area, were all the members of the squadron, they were sitting, they had comfortable clothes. Apparently they were waiting for you to arrive.

Quaritch entered first, and you followed him. All eyes of the members turned to you. You felt your breath stop, when you see how they are getting up and approaching you. "And this beautiful princess who is she?" says Brown as he looks you up and down. Lyle and mansk are whispering various things to each other. " Guys…this is new member" says Quaritch, and everyone gets quiet. " You're kidding, right?" says z-dog, the woman gives you a quick look. "Hey, slow down" lyle kneels down to be at your level. "Nice to meet you, gorgeous…what's your name" lyle, takes your hand and gives it a little kiss. " stop being flirty" Miles pushes him away, lyle stands up and gives you a smile. "My name is y/n" you speak shyly.

"hey, relax… we're not going to eat you" says mansk, as he sits down on the couch." Well come… I'll show you your room" Quaritch guides you to your room, when you get to the door you see that next to you is his room. "This is your room, it's set up for you, you know…it's all oxygen stuff. And you're right next to me. If anything happens let me know" Quaritch hands you the key to your room. "Take the day off, I imagine your suitcases will be arriving later. And don't worry, you'll get used to being here with us" Miles gives you a smile. "Thank you" There is a small silence between the two of you, until Quaritch shifts his gaze.

"I'll let you know when dinner is ready" You give him a smile. Quaritch had to admit, you had a beautiful smile. You walk into your room and he sees the door close. He feels someone tap him on the shoulder. "Wow Colonel…the girl is beautiful!!!" says Brown, shaking him a little. "Yes…she is very…" Quaritch fixes his throat, and pushes his roommate away. "Idiot" Quaritch walks out of the bedroom area. Lyle gives Brown a look, and they laugh.

You were so tired that as soon as you entered your new room you fell into bed. You didn't even take off your clothes, you just lay down to rest. It wasn't long before you heard knocking at the door. Tock ,tock, tock " Señorita Y/N, are you there?" you hear a man's voice, you opened your eyes slowly as you got up and went to the door. "H-hello, is something wrong?" you say as you look at the man, if your memory does not fail you it is soldier Lyle. " Dinner is ready, we are all in the dining area" lyle speaks to you with a goofy grin. " I'm going to change my clothes, and I'm on my way" you say giving him a smile. "Perfect, when you walk out the door you go right, keep walking and then left. There are signs there to help you" Lyle says as he walks towards the exit. "Thank you!" you close the door, to change into the new uniform that was in the closet in your room.

You had to admit that the model wasn't ugly, but you didn't like the color. It was navy blue and it was a jumpsuit. And an ugly label that said your name. "Well, they could have put more effort into the clothes" you think as you walk out of your room into the hallway. It wasn't hard to get to the dining area, as you approached you could hear the crowd. You entered through the front door, there were so many people that you were surprised. You were analyzing the situation, how it all worked. In the distance a Miles had already found you. He saw how you looked lost, and fearful. He was at the table with his team. He got up and walked over to you.

As soon as he got up, you could see him. By your calculations, his height was 9.0 feet. You could see he was in a great mood, his tail wagging as his body swayed. "Y/N, I thought you wouldn't make it" Quaritch said as he inhaled oxygen from his mask. "Sorry, I wanted to make myself more comfortable" he says and you lower your gaze. His presence was intimidating. "I can see that, you're lucky… not everyone looks so good in uniform" he says as he looks you up and down. "Thank you" you lift your face and give him a big smile. You had to stop doing that, because you were killing him and you've only been on base for a couple of hours.

"Well, there are the platters over there… And over there you can have all the food you want. Our table is right over there" Quaritch points to the location of his table. He gives you a small smile and walks away towards the table. You can see how the whole team is watching as you two were talking. You shift your gaze and walk over to grab the food. After choosing a few things, which for your taste were not very appetizing. You walk towards the table where Quaritch was. When you arrived, all eyes turned to you. You knew that you were not very well received by some members of the squadron. And this made you more nervous. "Hey, sit down here," says mansk, pointing next to him. You sit down, and start playing with your food.

Right in front of you was Quaritch, to the right of him was lyle, to the left was z-dog. "If you don't try it, you don't know if you're not going to like it," says lyle with a chuckle. You were deciding what you were going to put in your mouth, everything looked gross. "Mmm, nothing really catches my eye," you say. "Sorry, the spoiled little girl wants something prepared on the spot," sneers z-dog, followed by a few other members. You shift your gaze. You didn't want to look for trouble, everyone at this table was twice your size. "Hey, let her get comfortable here," says Quaritch. " Well then let her get acclimated quickly, because if she doesn't she won't survive a month here" says z-dog, it was already clear that this woman didn't like you. "Don't worry princess, Lyle Wainfleet is at your feet" says Lyle bowing, Miles gives her a tap on the shoulder. Everyone laughs, at least there were members of the group who didn't dislike you.

When dinner was over, everyone walked to the rooms. Lyle was next to you, explaining everything and asking you questions about what you were doing here. And you guys joke about everything. Quaritch is right next to Lyle, listening to everything, not talking but listening to everything. The rest of the group is up ahead. Miles had noticed Lyle's sudden fascination with you, usually Lyle wasn't this attentive, if it wasn't something that caught his attention. But don't blame him, you were adorable. "Don't worry buttercup, we'll keep you safe on missions," says lyle. " Missions?" you ask, no one told you they did missions. "Yes, the camp missions. We check to make sure everything is running smoothly, we take care of security." Quaritch says. "Keep the blue monkeys under control," says Lopez shouting a little from the front. "That word is offensive, you have to learn to respect life on this planet. I remind you that we are the parasites here. Besides… If we are talking about blue monkeys, you already belong to the clan." You say annoyed, as you step forward and walk towards your room. Everyone is silent, looking at each other.

"And this one who she thinks she is" says z-dog." ya, let her go…." Quaritch says. "Everyone get some rest tomorrow, we have a long day ahead of us," he says as he watches all his companions go to their respective rooms. Miles takes advantage and knocks on your door, you open it in annoyance. I could see the annoyance on your face. "Hey, I'm sorry… we didn't mean to" Miles was trying to apologize, he could be a jerk sometimes, but he was a gentleman. "I know…" you shift your gaze. "Well…I'll let you get some rest see you in the morning."

It was morning, you didn't go to breakfast or even leave your room when everyone was getting ready. You knew you had to meet the squadron at 10 am. You had received a message from your boss. You got up and got ready. You came out of your room and saw a boy. He wasn't much younger than you. He was sitting on the couch, trying to read something. "Hi!!!" you greet, and the boy is a little startled, and gets up from the couch. You could tell he was wearing navi clothes. The boy greets you. "Hi… you're the new girl?" says spider. "Yes, I'm Y/N nice to meet you" you say as he moves closer to you. "I'm Spider. "Spider?" you laugh a little, he laughs too. " Yeah, that's what they named me when I was a baby. Although Quaritch says my real name is ' Miles socorro Quaritch."

"So you know him!!!" you say, it seemed strange to you that the boy knew the colonel. "Yeah, he's my dad." Dad?how is that possible?, spider could see your worried face and state of shock. "Well he's not my original father…but he has the memories of him."

"Oh, I get it…the whole recoms thing" You kind of get the situation. "Hey, I need to go to the exit area…I'm supposed to meet the team and I really have no idea where it is" you ask the guy. Spider agrees and accompanies you. You told him everything, why you were there and what you were going to do. He also told you how he got there. "So you're older than me by only 5 years, that's impressive" says spider, while you enter the area where everyone was. "Yesssssss" you were laughing, with him. "Well, I see you two have met" says Quaritch coming up to you. "Yeah, Y/N is funny" Spider and you and he laugh.

"Well-well, we have to go" says Miles, the whole squad was already going prepared. They had weapons and were very well protected. And you, well, you just had your notebook. "Come here little one." Miles approaches with a bulletproof vest, before you complain Miles speaks. "Put your arms up" Quaritch asks, you do as he commands. He put the vest over your arm, lowered it over your torso and began to adjust it. "You have to wear one of these, it's dangerous out there" you were looking him in the eye, he was right in front of you, kneeling on one leg. He looked so good, you had to play it cautiously. "You're ready now, let's go!!!" Quaritch stood up, and put his hand on your back dragging you with him. You watch as spider accompanies him, the boy is next to you. They boarded the helicopter. Quaritch was on your right side and on the left was spider. The boy was talking to you.

Quaritch couldn't deny that the scene was adorable. He hadn't seen spider so excited and happy since he was at the base. And seeing that he was joking around, and having fun made things easier. After all it wasn't so bad that you were here with them. The trip was quick, and you got off in an area where there was a lot of logging. Miles helped you down, taking you by the waist. Wow, you could see he made no effort to move you. "All right, nice and straight," he set you down, and shifted his gaze quickly. Lyle noticed this and chuckled to himself. You walked a little deeper into the jungle, you couldn't believe what you were seeing. They had destroyed so much vegetation, it was almost a graveyard.

The squad was analyzing the area, while you and spider were looking at the ravages of excavation and mineral extraction. Spider was standing next to you, and he could see your expression change. You were sad. You looked at him for a moment, and he gave you a comforting smile. You pulled out your notebook and began to write your first report.

Quaritch came over to you, you were sitting on a log writing down everything you saw. I knew it all had to be negative, it's not like he did all this. But it was his people. "And how's that going?" he asks, you looked up and I could see how serious he was. You shifted your gaze and kept writing. Spider was looking at what you were writing. "And what does it say here?" the boy asks you. "Can't you read?" you ask him. "Just a little bit, but I'm not very good" he says while dragging the back of his head. "Don't worry, if you want I can teach you?" you tell the boy, he nods his head. You continue writing. Miles was right next to you, he was standing vigil. Until one of the team members calls out to him. "Stay here, ok… no more exploring alone," Quaritch says as he walks away.

When miles was far enough away spider approached you. "You want to see something?" you look up. "What is it?" you smile, as you follow spider through the jungle. As you were going in more and more you could see how beautiful everything was. Spider is running, and he climbed up to a pretty high branch. "Come, give me your hand" he is inviting you. "I'm not very flexible," you complain. "Come on…you'll be fine" you take his hand and climb up. "You see!!!" spider drags you along with him. The two of you are having a great time. The wildlife was so beautiful, you couldn't understand how they could destroy all this and not feel guilt.

"I would have liked you to meet my friends, they would have liked you" spider says, as he sits on the edge of a branch, which was quite high off the ground. You sit next to him. "Do you know original navi?" you ask him. "Yes, and they are much cooler" you laugh at his comment. Quaritch was walking back to where he had left you and saw nothing. He startled. He ran to the trunk, and saw that there was only your notebook. "Lyle, mansk scour the area!!!" Quaritch could see some footprints on the ground.

You and spider were talking about whatever, he was fun to be with. You were so interested in the conversation, you didn't notice an angry Quaritch. Who was watching you from below. "GET OFF THAT BRANCH!!!!" Hearing Quaritch's shout, you were scared by the scream and slipped off the branch. Spider tries to hold you up, but your vest slips from your hands and you fall from the tree. Miles runs to get closer and try to catch you. It was about a 15-foot drop. You were screaming, but just before you fell… Miles was able to hold you, but it wasn't enough, because he went to the ground with you causing you to hit your foot. "Ahhhhh it hurts, it hurts so bad!!!" you screamed, you had gotten a pretty nasty cut on your knee. Miles was holding you in his arms. "Hey, take it easy…breathe. That's just a bump" he says, he's trying to reassure you. Spider comes running down. " I'm sorry, I just wanted to …." Spider felt bad, he just wanted me to show you more of the jungle. "spider….shut up" Miles looks at him annoyed.

"Ohh wow…that looks ugly" Lyle had found them and was getting closer. "Yeah, maybe she dislocated her ankle. We need to get her to the base. Lyle, get everyone and tell him we're coming back" Quaritch orders the soldier, who runs off to tell his buddies. Miles starts to walk straight to the helicopter, spider follows him somewhat saddened. When you arrive, Quaritch doesn't let go of you and sits with you on his lap, it's not like he makes you uncomfortable. But you could see the looks on the squadron's faces as they arrive and watch the scene. "shhhh it hurts so much" you squeak a little. "can you move your ankle?" you try to, but nothing. "It's dislocated, don't worry we'll fix it" miles gives you a smile. You were in pain, but you couldn't help blushing. You were so close to him, his hands were holding your legs and the other was hugging your whole body. You looked away to distract yourself, but you saw how lyle was looking at you. He laughed and gave you a wink. "what a sucker" you say to yourself.

When you got to the base, Miles dropped you off at the nurse's office. Spider stayed with you, you could see how sorry he was. "It wasn't your fault, plus this is nothing" you say, poor boy. He wanted to be swallowed up by the earth. After a couple of hours, spider helped you to your room, there was no one in the common area. "You're going to be okay?" Spider asks. "Yeah, take it easy…go and get some rest" you give him a squeeze and he leaves you alone in the room. You had to admit, you were hurting all over. Even though Miles had helped you, the fall was horrible for you. "May I come in?" you heard a voice. "Yes go ahead" you couldn't get out of bed, your right foot was bandaged. Miles came in, he had some things in his hand. "I brought you dinner, and I came to check on that foot" he came over and put everything on your bedside table. "Thank you so much!!!" you say, he was already kneeling in front of you. He signaled you to sit on the edge of the bed. He was taking your foot, to put a kind of cold pack on your ankle." Really, thank you very much" Quaritch looked at you, even though he was on his knees he was right at your level. "You don't have to thank me." You had on a large shirt and shorts, miles was stroking your legs with his hand, trying to massage the area. "This is going to get better," his voice was low. His hand was quality and soft. You laughed a little, because his rubbing on your skin tickled. You could see a small smile creep across his face.

"you're beautiful" you put your hand to your mouth. You just had just been thinking out loud. Quaritch noticed how red you were getting and he poked the tip of your nose with his hand. "Thank you…you're the first person to say that to me" miles couldn't stop laughing. " no, I'm not sorry…I didn't mean that….Wait, yes you are beautiful…but" miles stands up a little, and gives you a kiss on your forehead. "rest up honey, see you tomorrow, yes?" he says, you swear you saw a strange gleam in his eyes. Miles got up and left your room.

There you had been left in a state of shock, and with your heart racing in millions.

p.s I swear I wanted to make this part quite long, but I have a lot of work to deliver tomorrow. But the next part is going to be longer and better …. So yeah, there's going to be more parts * wink, wink*.

His tail was giving you gentle strokes on your back. And you knew he was giving glances at your figure from time to time. "This is so over the top, they're animals…please" says z-dog. You try not to lose your patience you knew she was saying these comments to irritate you. You take a deep breath and continue to watch the PPA team at work. "What are they going to be? Are they going to close RDA?" the woman says, looking at you. "Do you have a problem? Because since you've been here all you've done is annoy the hell out of me," you shout. Z-dog walks closer to you. "Yes…I do" the woman is getting closer to you. The team members become alert, Quaritch steps in front of you. "Okay, ladies…that's enough. That's an order," Quaritch says. "Tell that to her…she looks like your damn jealous wife" you spit. Z-dog tries to lunge at you, but lyle stops her. "hey calm down" the man holds her friend. While Quaritch grabs you by the shoulders and drags you with him into the halls.

When you were far enough away, the man kneels down to make you look at him. "What's wrong with you? You're not like that" says Quaritch, he holds your face with his big hands. "She's got me tired… and I'm not here to put up with her comments" he sees how you're turning red. He's studying you, hell…even annoying you looked pretty. "Z-dog has always been like that" Quaritch says, letting go of your face to caress your shoulders, then reaching for your hands. "He likes you!!!" you speak. Quaritch's ears perk up and he looks at Y/N curiously. " Yeah, don't look at me like you don't know. They all know…and she's like this, because she heard how your nice big cock was filling me up last night" you spit. Ok, it's settled…you were stressed and very very upset.

Miles laughs, it was weird to see you that upset, it was the first time I had ever seen you like that. "Well…that's something new" he says, with a smile on his lips. "What?" you ask. "That you're talking dirty like that…I like it" Quaritch grabs your waist and pulls you closer. "We're part of what?" you felt the grip on your waist tighten. Quaricth's ears fell back. And his face reflected a look of terror. You weren't really upset by Z-dog's comments, she was always talking more than she should. You were upset because while they were investigating and taking custody of the caged animals, one of the PPA members handed you some papers. In those papers, there were photos of each of the recoms. There is also all their personal information, how they had created them and the goal they had with them.

You sigh a little, trying to explain everything to Quaritch. "I imagine you know some things…but not everything. You are part of an investigation, you are literally guinea pigs. I don't know what they will do with you. But in those documents…" You stop talking for a moment, at this point Quaritch had already gotten up off the floor. And he had taken some steps backwards, his hands were folded on his chest and his tail was on the floor, wagging slowly.

"In those documents they talk about…how they are going to eliminate you if in 3 years you don't achieve the expectations of their plan" You look up, all this time you were looking at the ground. You didn't want to be the one to tell him, but you had to. That's why you were here… to protect them.

"So you knew all this?" says Quaritch, his tone of voice rising a little. And his expressions had changed to one of anger.

" No, wait!!! I just found out" you try to approach him, but he takes a step back.

"Right…that's why you're here. To protect the damn animals…and that includes me" Quaritch shouts. This time, it's you who steps back. If Z-dog was intimidating, imagine Quaritch.

"MILES!!! I didn't know anything I swear… those papers were just handed to me. I'm only here to protect you guys, I'm not the villain" You try to take his hand, but he keeps pulling further away from you.

"The right thing to do… is for everyone to calm down. And let the PPA take custody of you" you speak.

"Custody? We're not animals Y/N" Quaritch yells. He was scaring you. You knew you didn't have to say these things, let alone like this. But it was the reality, if they were part of some investigations, they have to be safeguarded like the others… living creatures.

"I know… but it's protocol. I swear, they will not be treated like animals. Our goal is not that…but I need you to understand, that the RDA is just using you. Everyone on your team…they are using them." You are silent for quite a while…Quaritch is pacing from side to side, you can see how upset he was.

"Quaritch…you're not even you. You only have the memories of that person, and I know you fight every day with your subconscious, we…" you see how he turns and approaches you in giant steps. You stand still.

"No… I know who I am, and you're not going to come here and tell me who I am or how I should act. Just do your job" Quaritch speaks, his tone is threatening. You decide not to say anything, you knew he was on the defensive. Being told that you are just an experiment, and that you are now the property of the PPA. It must be difficult.

To your bad luck, half of the conversation you two had had was overheard by the Z-dog soldier, she decided to come out and apologize to you. But she was taken with this surprise. You turn around and see the woman approaching you. Oh no, this couldn't get any worse. "Is something wrong here?" asks the woman.

" No, let's just go" Quaritch says placing a hand on the woman's back and walking away. "Miles…please don't leave like this" you speak, but the man ignores you. You stand in the hallway in silence, thinking about what you did wrong. And you didn't do anything… you just want to protect him. At that you hear footsteps, and you turn to see spider approaching. "Hey…what's wrong? Why did they leave like that… they already finished picking up all the animals" says spider, the boy looked happy but his smile was gone when he saw your worried look.

"Spider… how do I make someone understand that I just want to protect him?" you speak, spider saw how you were turning red and your eyes were getting watery. "But what happened?" Spider didn't know anything about you and Quaritch, so you decided to tell him everything, cautiously of course. Because even though Spider was 'big' he still didn't have any malice in many things. The boy listened to you from beginning to end. When you finished explaining everything, the hallway became quieter as spider thought about how to answer you.

"So… you and my 'dad' are dating…" spider asks. " Well I thought so…" spider shuffles his hair and then starts talking. " And you found out about the RDA's plans with the recoms, and you told him about it and he got upset with you?" spider speaks up. " Yes, I was explaining to him that the PPA will take custody of them, but of course… he thinks we're treating him like an animal. But we're treating him like…" spider interrupts you, finishing your sentence. "Like a living human being. I understand," spider says, pulling you in for a hug.

"And they're going to be okay?" spider looks at you. "Yes, this change will happen in a few days" you say, pulling away from spider's embrace. As you see lyle approaching, he doesn't look upset. In fact, he was walking with his unique style. "Doll… I've been told. Is it true that the PPA will take custody of us?" asks lyle, approaching where you and spider were. You were surprised at how calm he was. How was it possible that he was taking it easy and Quaritch was not. "Who told you?" you ask. "Oh, it was the PPA custody team, they told us that in these days we will have to sign some things blah blah" lyle speaks. "And everyone took it well?" lyle looked at you and laughed a little. You knew that was a no, it was normal for them to feel that way.

" Honey… look" Lyle kneels down to be on your level. "I understand you… the colonel is furious. And some of the guys are too" lyle says. "Including zdog?" you look at him, raising an eyebrow. Spider laughs a little. "Including zdog, but let them be…they'll figure this is for the best. I don't feel like getting killed a second time" lyle says getting up. "Quaritch almost killed me, when I told him everything" you say, as spider comes over to give you another hug. You felt he needed a lot of love, so you hug him back. "The colonel has been having trouble adjusting to these new bodies, he'll understand - just give him space - don't worry your boyfriend will stop being mad at you," Lyle jokes. You stick your tongue out at him, spider copy you. "At least you have your stepson on your side," lyle continues to joke, and spider starts playing with him.

After talking for a long time in the hallways, you decide that you'd better pick up the food from the cafeteria and go eat it somewhere else. You knew that when you entered the cafeteria area you were going to meet everyone, so Lyle entered without causing any suspicion, took some food to eat, and left as if nothing had happened. You were watching the whole thing from a small glass window overlooking the table where he was. Quaritch looked annoyed, but lost in thought, he didn't even look at Lyle.

"Well… it's been a long day, see ya" you start to say goodbye to the men. "another question, they're going to give us good food right?" lyle asks, this causes you to tap him on the arm. "Lyle, no one is going to get them out of here… the RDA is going to change administrations. And I doubt the disgusting apple mash will change it" you make a disgusted face, and are joined by lyle and spider. At least you had two people on your side. You two escorted spider to his room and you and lyle walked together to the dorms. When you arrived you noticed that no one was there, there was only zdog sitting on the couches, reading some magazines.

Lyle said goodbye to you, ruffling your hair a bit, and saying a cute comment. Which made you laugh." Are you sure you want me to leave you with this lioness?" says lyle, giving a quick glance to where zdog is sitting." Yeah, don't worry. Go and rest" you say, as you push lyle to go to her room.

You stood there thinking silently, until you feel a look. You turn to confront the look. You watch as zdog gets up, and walks slowly towards you. " The night is beautiful" you say, watching as zdog stands in front of you, causing you to look up. "Custody?" she spits, she had this attitude of superiority. "I'll explain…this is what's best for you" you speak, until you feel zdog grab your forearm. He was squeezing hard, you knew he was going to leave a mark. "Listen to me you fucking rat…I want you away from the colonel" she spits, lifting you off the ground a little. You squeal, she was squeezing your arm so hard you felt it was going to break. "Let go of me!" you whine, and she throws you to the ground. You feel the blow on your spine. " I-I don't want to hurt him" you were getting up from the ground, but the woman pushes you down again. You decide to do nothing, she was three times your size, it was an unfair fight. "Leave him alone." You stayed silent, watching the woman walk away from you and walk to her room.You weren't going to fight or lose your patience. You knew quaritch wasn't interested in zdog, so you weren't going to fight.

Your arm and back hurt so much, you just lay there on the floor. It was to be expected that someone had heard something, the scream that came out of your mouth when you fell to the ground was very loud. While you were trying to relieve your back pain. You hear a door open. You looked up to see who it was, you were begging for it not to be zdog. You were surprised when you saw Quaritch. He stood in the door frame looking at you. "What happened?" Quaritch moves a little closer to you, but still keeps his distance. " Nothing… I'm surprised at how many enemies I've gained, and all I've done is help" you complain, trying to stand up from the floor. Just before you get up, your lower back fails and you fall back to the ground.

"Hey… be careful" says Miles, reaching over to lift you by the arm, But just before he touched you, he saw the hand mark z-dog had left. "She… did she do this?" asks the man, bending a little to lift you up by your sides and standing you up straight. "Who else is going to do… I can't fight her" you say, avoiding his gaze. You knew he was upset with you, but you are surprised when he reaches over and strokes your cheek. "I'm going to talk to her…she shouldn't have done this," Quaritch says, taking your arm to check on the bruise. "Don't tell her anything…I don't want to have any more run-ins with her" you say as you follow Quaritch, he is helping you sit on one of the couches.

You were sitting next to him, letting him touch and caress your arm. "Are you still upset? Lyle said…" Quaritch interrupts you and reaches over to your arm and places a kiss on the wound. "Yes…I'm still upset, but…I care about you" Quaritch says, pulling you closer to his body. Making you lie on him. "Just promise me…you won't do anything crazy with us" Quaritch says, you look up. You pull out of his grip and sit up on your knees to take his face in your hands. "It's going to be okay… we're going to take care of you. I'm going to take care of you" you reach up to give him a kiss on the tip of his nose. Miles laughs and reaches over to steal a kiss on your lips. "You're easy to get along Colonel" you tease him. "Only because it's you" Quaritch grabs you around the waist, making you giggle a little as he settles you in his lap.

"So …. you're going to take care of me" you see how he's laughing, as he launches himself to kiss your neck. Moving down to your chest, while one of his hands is already working down your shirt. "Yes, I'm going to take care of you".

"Hey… let's go to my room shall we?" you give him another kiss on the lips, as you start to get up from his lap. You hear him moan a little, he was purring. "You purr?" you look at him surprised. You didn't know he could do that, you had heard from some people that they were able to do that, but you had never noticed it.

"Of course not" quaritch says nervously, as he breathes in some oxygen from his mask. Shit, you made him so nervous. "Yesssss you were purring…my cute giant kitty" you speak hugging his waist, your face reaching just above his pelvis. "Careful precious…you're too close" Miles laughs, moving his hips forward. You lift up his shirt and give him a kiss right on his lower abdomen, making the man purr again.

You laugh a little, as you walk away, taking his hand to head to your room. This was already becoming routine for you. "This would be reconciliation sex?" asks Miles, stepping through the door frame. You just laugh and make him go all the way into your room, closing the door behind him.

Meanwhile, somewhere in the RDA facilities…

"Good evening general" says one of the employees of the research area. "Good evening" General Ardmore didn't usually ask for help in her plans, but this time it was necessary.

"May I know what you called me for, it's late" says the man. "I'm sorry…I know it's late. But I need your help" says the woman, settling down at her desk. "Do you know who Y/N is?" says the woman.

"Sure, she is the new member of the recoms squadron," says the man, already suspecting more or less what the general was going to ask him.

"Well, …. I need her to disappear or I need you to bring her back to earth. But I want her off the base" says the woman. She had a cold look on her face.

"General…that's impossible. The PPA is on top of us, they are not going to get their team out" the man speaks. In less than three weeks, the PPA was going to take over the GDR.

"I can't let the PPA come here and ruin everything," the woman says, raising her voice. "And what about Colonel Quaritch? He could help us," says the man trying to get out of the awkward situation.

"That man has lost his direction," says General Ardmore, as she takes a sip of her coffee.

Note: I feel like I lost my direction in this story, but I think I was able to come up with a nice ending. I'm sorry it's rather short. I wanted to focus on the sequel to "experiment 56". But don't worry, I'll upload more of Quaritch's work.

3 months later…

"Why do I have to stay here?" you are lying on Quaritch's big bed as you stretch. The man is putting on his uniform.

"Honey, it will be a one day mission, I'll be back for the night" Quaritch moves to the edge of the bed, you get up to hug his waist. As you watch Quaritch put on his shirt. He looked so good, you plant a kiss on his stomach. You hear him chuckle a little, and he lowers his gaze a little to kiss you on the top of your hair.

Since the PPA had taken over from the RDA the missions were only routine, to verify that the use and management of the facilities that were around Pandora, and that it was not misusing, damaging more the ecosystem of the planet. This was not something Quaritch liked, but for you, he would do anything. He had a very strong crush on Y/N, he literally begged for you to pay attention to him, to spend time with him. He didn't know he was going to fall so hard for you, but he did.

"You'll be staying with Z-dog, doing guard duty in the areas you're assigned" Quaritch says, as he watches you dramatically throw yourself on the bed. "With Z-dog?" you groan a little. Your relationship with the woman had improved, but there was still a bit of friction. You weren't friends, but at least she stopped threatening you. She had to understand that your relationship with Quaritch was serious. You sit on the bed, and you see how Miles looks at you, he's quiet but his eyes look at you with such adoration. As if you were the engine of his life, shit… he had a massive crush on you. You watch as he crawls across the bed and reaches your face. He gives you a quick kiss and then another on your forehead. - "I promise you'll be fine…" says Quaritch, staying sniffing your scent. "I love you so much… Now and forever," Quaritch says. You snuggle more into his touch, and enjoy the moment.

After you got ready, he left the room. It was very early so you still had time to rest some more. You and Zdog were going to meet in the hallways at 9:00 in the morning. So you rested in the sheets, and went back to sleep. The 3 hours passed quickly, you got up and ran to your room to get ready. You knew zdog had gone out, because the door to her room was open, you get ready as fast as you can and run out to meet the woman. It doesn't take long, and you see her figure in the distance. You can tell she was upset. -Sorry!!!" you shout, as you keep running to catch up with the woman. "You're late… we're going to get killed" says zdog, walking towards you.

You were out of breath. "I know…I'm sorry!!!" you put your hands on your knees, and feel a few pats on your back. "You ran from the rooms to here? Silly" zdog teases you, as she continues to tap you on the back. You're glad your differences were cleared up. After the fight you had months ago, Quaritch talked to zdog and they set everything straight. Later that night zdog came to apologize to you. At first you didn't believe her, but as time went on you began to trust her more and now you were vigil companions. It was still weird to spend time together, but it was a relationship that was starting to grow. Or so lyle said.

"Come on…I'm better" you speak, reassuring yourself and starting to walk to this storage area. It was quite far from the other facilities, so it was a long walk. You two were joking about the stupid things Lyle or Lopez was doing. Your steps were slow and you were so distracted that you didn't notice that a person had been chasing you for at least 12 minutes. It wasn't until they heard the sound of a gunshot. Zdog turned around to the direction where the noise was coming from. And he saw the damn employee, the damn employee who was hanging out behind ex-general Ardmore.

Since the PPA had taken custody, General Ardmore had been removed from her position. She was now engaged in helping various groups of soldiers and also being part of various projects. The PPA director did not want to involve her much in the new face of the PPA, so this upset her. The woman had lost the ravages, and everyone on the base knew it. She was always drinking, kept threatening everyone and the scumbag of a human being, who had just shot her partner. Zdog watched as the man just stood there still, while he kept pointing. She followed where the gun was pointed and watched as Y/N stood still and his blue shirt turned darker. - "Shit" thought zdog, moving closer to you, to check where the injury was. The bullet had entered through your back, through your right ribs.

"Y/N damn…we have to" before zdog said anything, Y/N collapses in your arms. You had your hands on the ground and your knees hit the ground. " z…I" your words couldn't come out, you felt how with every breath, the pain got worse. You felt the cold on your back and how little by little your sight was fading. "We have to go to the hospital" zdog takes you by the arm and settles you in his arms, putting pressure on the injury. "Zdog what's wrong?" you ask, looking up to see the woman running at high speed, you felt the pressure she was putting on your back. As you began to hear the facility's security alarm. This one went off when there were situations like this. "You're going to be fine…I promise" zdog says, giving you a quick glance. But could see how all your shirt was already full of blood, and how your lips were starting to turn a pale color.

"No…I don't feel well" you whimper, as you feel the vision fade and you slowly close your eyes. "Y/n you have to hold on…we're close" was the last thing you hear, as you fall into a deep sleep. Zdog arrives as fast as possible to the medical bay, the facility was crazy…there were officers running to go to the area of what happened, alarms were going on…. This type of situation was not supposed to happen, but this was not the case. Arriving at the nurse's office, the woman came in with you in her arms, she was crying. "Please… she has lost a lot of blood" Zdog shouts, while a group of doctors come to help you. They place you on a gurney, and carry you inside. As zdog watches as they begin to examine you and the doors close. Zdog stands nervously in the waiting room, not knowing what had happened. And the man who had shot you had escaped.

Quaritch and the other members of the group arrived at the facility earlier than provided. They left the information they were required to collect in an office that was right next to the exit area. And then they headed to the rooms, Miles was ready to look for you, go take a shower and then eat. But his plans were interrupted, when as he enters through the glass doors he sees the mess. He sees how several soldiers have a man on the floor, and on the other side is ex-general Ardmore. "I swear…I had nothing to do with all this," the woman screams. "General ardmore you are under arrest for attempted murder" says one of the soldiers. Miles stands there, as do his companions. "What the hell is going on?" says Lyle, looking at Quaritch…waiting for an answer. It wasn't until they see Spider approaching them, the boy was shaken and tears were coming out of his eyes. The boy ran as fast as he could and hugged his father.

"Hey…take it easy. Spider what's wrong?" said Quaritch, grabbing the boy's head. Spider was red, his eyes puffy. " Y/n…she…no" spider started to cry more, and this made Quaritch's ears perk up. Separating spider from his waist, and running to the nurse's office. He was running as fast as he could, pushing anyone who got in his way. Lyle was trying to keep up, but it was impossible. Miles could feel tears welling up in his eyes as he neared his destination. When he arrived, he saw that several people were at the entrance to the nurse's station and one of them was zdog. He saw how the woman was crying, she noticed Quaritch's presence. Approaching him…placing a hand on his shoulder. "I'm sorry…she hold on until the end," says zdog.

Quaritch fell to the ground on his knees, you…had. You had died?Tears came out of his eyes and slid down his cheeks and fell to the ground. He wasn't making any noise, just crying silently. Lyle was able to reach the colonel and saw him on the floor. " Colonel what happened?" lyle asks him, but only sees how the man can't speak and is staring at a fixed point. "No…no" lyle repeats the same phrase several times, while he starts walking back and forth.

Out of nowhere you hear a loud noise and you quickly open your eyes.

"What?" you yell a little agitated, your breathing was agitated and you were confused. You were lying in pandora's jungle. " Hey…you fell asleep!!!" says spider, the boy was sitting next to you playing with his bow. " I slept for a long time?" you say, getting up from the ground, you were confused. You raise your hands and see that they are human and then you look at your feet. And then your eyes do a scan of your clothes. You were wearing navi clothes…what the hell. had it all been a dream? - "Well about two hours…I was talking about my dad and you fell asleep" says spider, deep in what he was doing. Sure…you had dreamed the whole thing. Spider sees how you're laughing, and you lie down on the floor.

"Did you dream about something?" asks spider. You laugh a little, and decide not to answer him. Suddenly you see the figure of a girl peek out. " Here you are!!!" says kiri, approaching you, to join your side. " So what?" asks the girl, looking at you. " Nothing…I just…nothing" you turn around and decide to close your eyes. Kiri looked at spider trying to find an answer, the boy lifted his shoulders. "You're getting crazier every day…you know that?" says Kiri, settling down next to you, to enjoy the quiet. You were lying there, thinking how everything had felt so real…what if it was real?

Fr though I just want someone to explain to the recoms that they are being taken advantage of. Like, the RDA literally owns them at this point. And even if they succeed in their goal then what do they think will happen then? That they’ll get a pat on the back and a nice retirement check? No! They’ll get taken out because they’re not needed anymore!

The RDA doesn’t see them as people, but rather as weapons and tools. It concerns me that they don’t know this

I agree with you. And I think this is going to be one of the reasons why many racoms are going to reveal themselves to the RDA. Also, if you see quaritch behavior in the movie, he looks confused… because his new avatar body, he already has a consciousness of his own. And what he has of the old quaritch are just memories. I think he's acting on impulse, and under orders. I hope his character takes an unexpected turn.
