Titles waver and mantles slip, Beauty languishes with time. Crowns fall and Queenship, Was never meant to be mine.

Fractured vessels won’t be filled, There’s no room for you inside. A void-tainted curse fulfilled, Your presence, I will not abide.

Being subjected to a thousand puncture wounds would have been preferable to the abasement of openly admitting defeat.  He was not so barbaric as to force it publicly, however, and that was his most admirable quality.  Their intellectual squabbles were a private affair, reserved exclusively for their own cruel indulgence in one another’s cerebral honing.  Mistakes made in good company were hardly ‘mistakes’ at all.  Rather, they would be seized as opportunities for growth… and oh, how they had grown.

The Sorceress remained, an effigy of hand-carved marble in the center of the room-- cold and immobile, as the enchantment discharged around her.  Unseen eyes followed his every move as he made himself comfortable, accommodating even.  “You wish to know why I have returned?”  A slow tilt of her cowl expressed her curiosity as she watched him prepare the wine.  “I would be lying if I did not admit there was a time when I considered staying in the Shadowlands, indefinitely.”  No sigh of admission pushed past sable lips, for she was merely stating a fact, not expressing her remorse.  The burden of regret was best left for the living to bear.

“I still hear Them…” she confessed,” …the whispers.”  Across worlds and even alternate realms, once the Void set its perverted gaze upon someone, there was no escaping its avarice...  not even in death.  “I trust you are convinced that my attunement to the Void is no longer a threat,” she concluded.  Otherwise, he would have redoubled his effort to contain her at the first sign of malfeasance.

Subsequently, the Sorceress dove headlong into the disturbance, attempting to understand her hysteria-driven urges until they no longer controlled her.  Once again, she was reminded of the quote by Mor’zul Bloodbringer, ‘The subjugation of a Xorothian Dreadsteed is a true measure of power.’  This time she was at the reigns, not the one chomping at the bit, and she would remind Them of that.  The Harbinger and her legion of arachnid marched down a path the Sorceress had, with a great deal of sacrifice, diverged from.

“How do you propose we deal with this… 'nightmare?'  I assume you already have a plan?" Lord Felscythe always had a plan.

A continuation of HERE "Tsk tsk, did your galivanting in Revendreth teach you nothing over the errors of excessive pride?" The eye retorted after her loud display of bravado and coy admittance of still keeping more then her fair share up her sleeve. Not that he could fault her for that, they both knew. "You obviously know the words to undo this convoluted little trap, or you wouldn't be making such a fuss over saying them." He taunted. "But then, if it's really a chit chat you want, I can oblige." The eye zoomed them, directly at the floor, splattering wetly, the fel green magics that made up its form splashing like acid. But she knew better. The splash was intentional, its arching spray of color deliberate. Using a fel scrying eye to cast a demonic circle of teleportation INSIDE the runic prison he'd made of her sequestered little library. With the sound of the matchhead of space and time igniting, she was not alone in that room sized jar. He was simply right there in front of her, the faint sizzle of existence wafting off his armor like smoke. The years must have been very good to him indeed. While he'd always been tall for an Sin'dorei, it was clear as day he'd put on mass since their last encounter, and not from simply sitting on his ass during the peacetime after the Shadowlands went back to the status quo. The pnumatic whine of his gauntlets almost an afterthought as he set his clawed hands on his hips. "Hello Mala."

Hot take (neutral take?): The faceless old woman who secretly lives in your home is the epitome of a web avatar. She literally spends her whole existence post-Russia influencing people. The parts where she talks to Craig, her entire monologue is about all the things she’s doing to get him together with someone who will have a kid. Sometimes her motives are very clear, like when she’s trying to win the election and she threatens the listener. Sometimes she’s not, like most of what happens in the book.

i know i pretty much ditched ego/septictober but i'm thinking of doing a month long personal challenge for november where i draw one youtuber/streamer i'm a fan of each day

i dunno, just wanna try and draw for a month long and i also like drawing fanart :}
