Man slaps girlfriend in public, actor Naga Shaurya tells him to apologise: 'She is your lover but you can't misbehave'

Telugu actor Naga Shaurya asked a man, who slapped his girlfriend on a busy road, to ‘say sorry’ to her. He refused to let go when the man said ‘she is my lover’.

Telugu actor Naga Shaurya, who is gearing up for the release of his film Phalana Abbayi Phalana Ammayi, impressed internet after a video clip in which he can be seen coming to the rescue of a girl from her abusive boyfriend. On Wednesday, Naga Shaurya was spotted on a busy road in Hyderabad asking the man to apologise to his girlfriend after he slapped her.

In the clip, Shaurya can be seen holding the hand of the man and asking him to apologise to his girlfriend. The actor told the man, “Say sorry to her.” To which, the man replied that she’s my girlfriend. Shaurya continued to ask him to apologise to her, regardless. “Why did you slap her on the road? She could be your lover, it doesn’t mean you can misbehave like this. Say sorry to her,” Shaurya said to the man. Onlookers could also be seen telling the man to apologise.

Several people praised Shaurya’s gesture in the comments section of the video shared on Twitter. One user wrote, “You have my respect brother (sic).” Another one tweeted, “Hats off to Naga Shaurya. Immense respect for what you’ve done. Like most people, he didn’t let this slide thinking it’s a public issue.” However, some Twitter users wondered if this could be a promotional stunt for Shaurya’s upcoming release. His film Phalana Abbayi Phalana Ammayi will be released in theatres on March 17. Co-starring Malvika Nair, it is directed by Srinivas Avasarala.

Last November, Shaurya fainted on the set of his upcoming yet-untitled Telugu project. Reportedly, he was admitted to the hospital with a high fever and a severe case of dehydration. The incident happened just days before his wedding. As per reports, he fainted after being on an intense non-liquid diet and spending a lot of hours in the gym to achieve a six-pack look for his role in the movie, which is being directed by first-time director SS Arunachalam. Shaurya recently married Bangalore-based businesswoman Anusha N Shetty on November 20.

The story is centred on Sakshi (Anushka Shetty), a talented deaf and mute artist, who gets entangled in a criminal investigation when she unexpectedly witnesses a tragic incident that occurs in a villa with a reputation for being haunted. The film has been directed by Hemant Madhukar

While Rana released the Telugu version of the trailer, Vijay Sethupathi unveiled the Tamil version.

The first look poster of Anushka’s character from Nishabdam was unveiled last September. Anushka as Sakshi expresses herself through her art. In the poster, Anushka is seen gazing at something and painting it on the drawing board in front of her. 

The entire film has been shot in Seattle, USA. Originally shot in Tamil and Telugu, Nishabdam will also be released in Malayalam. The film has been titled Silence in Tamil and Malayalam.  Nishabdham also stars Anjali, Shalini Pandey, Subbaraju and Srinivas Avasarala in pivotal roles. Hollywood actor Michael Madsen will be essaying a key role.

Last seen on screen in a cameo in Chiranjeevi’s Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, Nishabdam will be Anushka’s major release since Bhaagamathie, which is being remade in Hindi with Bhumi Pednekar as Durgavati

Oohalu Gusagusalu is a romantic comedy film so it is definitely a film that is amazing to watch over the weekend with your significant other.

The movie follows Venky (Naga Shourya) who aspires to become a newsreader but struggles to do so and for the past 4 years he is stuck working as an anchor.

His boss Uday (Srinivas Avasarala) who is awkward around women knows of this fact and uses it to ask for help from Venky who is amazing around women to help impress a girl.

As Venky agrees to help his boss, he later finds out that the girl that his boss is trying to impress is his ex-girlfriend.

2.Uyyla Jampala

Uyyla Jampala is a romantic but in the realm of forbidden love. The movie follows 2 cousins Soori (Raj Tarun) and Umadevi (Avika Gor) who have known each other since childhood.

Both of them has an opposite background, Soori grew up in a modest upbringing and Umadevi grew up in a more comfortable environment. As they grew up Soori fell in love with Umadevi but Umadevi falls in love with Parthu (Shashank Srivastava) who is a techie.

However, Soori is suspicious of Parthu and Umadevi's relationship and decided to investigate.

3.Godavari

The movie takes place on a cruise ship where Sreeram (Sumanth) and Seetha (Kamalinee) both decided to go on a river cruise due to a series of unfortunate circumstances that have happened to them individually.

Funny, enough the unfortunate event that has happened to them is similar in many ways. As they both embark on the cruise ship they accidentally met each other and begin a romantic relationship together on the cruise.
