The Audi Q7 receives modest but meaningful updates for 2024, improving this three-row luxury SUV with new technology, styling refinements and additional standard features. Now entering its seventh model year since the full redesign for 2017, the 2024 Q7 continues balancing composed handling, lavish accommodations and family-friendly practicality. Slotting above Audi's smaller Q5 as the brand's flagship utility vehicle, the Q7 competes directly with stalwarts like the BMW X5, Mercedes-Benz GLE-Class and Volvo XC90. This echelon of luxury SUV prides itself on blending premium amenities with real driving enjoyment, and the 2024 Q7 aims to uphold this expectation. Let's take a closer look at what's new and notable on the 2024 Audi Q7 as this polished people hauler carries its winning formula forward. 2024 Audi Q7 Pricing and Trims Overview The 2024 Audi Q7 lineup ascends through three main trim levels: Premium, Premium Plus and Prestige, each available with a choice of four- or six-cylinder engines. Base pricing starts at $60,695 for the four-cylinder Q7 45 Premium and reaches $74,795 for the top Prestige model with the V6. Quattro all-wheel drive and an 8-speed automatic transmission are standard across the board. With a starting price under $65,000, the Premium Plus 45 model makes for an appealing balance of features and value, adding leather seating, a power tailgate and Audi's Virtual Cockpit digital gauge cluster over the base model. The V6 isn't mandatory, but opens access to the Q7's max 7,700-lb tow rating. 2024 Audi Q7 Engines and Performance The Q7 offers a choice of two forced-induction powertrains: a 261-hp turbo 2.0-liter four-cylinder or 335-hp turbo 3.0-liter V6, badged 45 and 55 respectively. The V6 delivers brisk acceleration, dispatching 0-60 mph in around 5.0 seconds in Car and Driver testing. An eight-speed automatic transmission integrates tightly with either engine. Standard Quattro all-wheel drive provides year-round grip and confidence, while available four-wheel steering noticeably enhances agility for an SUV this large. Air suspension further elevates composure and ride comfort when desired. On twisty roads, the Q7 feels planted and eager for its class. 2024 Audi Q7 Fuel Economy and MPG Efficiency ratings for 2024 are not yet published, but expect slightly improved MPG versus outgoing 2022 Q7 models. The turbo four-cylinder should achieve ratings around 19 mpg city, 25 highway and 21 mpg combined per the EPA cycle. In past testing, we recorded over 26 mpg in real-world highway driving from the four-cylinder Q7. While the V6 dips to around 17 mpg city and 21 highway, it delivers strong passing power while providing enough range to avoid frequent fills. Look for a driving range of over 400 miles with the 19.8-gallon tank. Impressive refinement keeps the Q7 feeling efficient regardless of chosen powertrain. 2024 Audi Q7 Exterior Styling and Dimensions The current Q7 generation introduced more chiseled lines and taught surfaces compared to its softly rounded predecessor, and the 2024 model keeps this athletic appearance largely intact. Audi's imposing trapezoidal grille and sharp LED headlights provide a focused gaze. Measuring 199.3 inches long with a 117.9-inch wheelbase, the Q7 casts a large footprint, but creased surfacing prevents boxiness. Height comes in at 68.5 inches without roof rails, allowing access to most garages. Exterior dimensions will carry over unchanged for 2024 as this generation Q7 remains in its prime. Seating seven passengers with available third-row seating, the 2024 Audi Q7 presents a refined, carefully crafted interior design. Even base versions warrant their premium badge, with upholstery stitching and metallic accents setting an upscale ambiance. The Q7 treats occupants to first-class accommodations, particularly in top Prestige trim. 2024 Audi Q7 Seating and Cargo Space The Q7’s three rows provide seating for seven, with generous head and legroom in both front and second rows.
Third-row space is tight and best suited for kids. Audi's easy-entry second row seats allow access to the rearmost row without removing child seats. Cargo room stands at 14.2 cubic feet behind the third row. Folding the 50/50 split third row opens 48.6 cubic feet, expandable to 72.5 cubic feet with the second row stowed. The Q7 offers similar cargo versatility to competitors like the Acura MDX and Volvo XC90. 2024 Audi Q7 Interior Features and Technology Even base Q7 models come well-equipped with leatherette upholstery, tri-zone climate control and Audi’s MMI touch response infotainment system. A 10.1-inch touchscreen is standard, with available virtual cockpit digital instrumentation. Options include ventilated front seats, a heated steering wheel and 23-speaker Bang & Olufsen premium audio. Standard tech like Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, satellite radio and 4G LTE Wi-Fi keeps passengers entertained and connected on the go. Available upgrades add conveniences like wireless charging, rear seat entertainment and multi-color ambient lighting. 2024 Audi Q7 Safety Features and Ratings The 2024 Q7 provides reassuring safety, with standard forward collision warning and automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection. Available aids include lane keeping assist, blind spot monitoring, rear cross traffic alert, surround view cameras and parking sensors. Crash test results from the IIHS award the current Q7 the top Good rating in every category, though it misses the Top Safety Pick+ tier due to headlights. The NHTSA gives four and five star ratings on all assessments. Safety remains a key focus for this family-centered SUV. 2024 Audi Q7 Performance, Handling and Towing All Q7 models feature a responsive adaptive air suspension system and Quattro all-wheel drive for confident year-round handling. Available rear-wheel steering enhances maneuverability and makes this large SUV feel nimble. Towing capacity reaches a max 7,700 pounds for V6 models when properly equipped. Sized 21 or 22-inch summer performance tires unlock the Q7’s athletic potential, with sporty grip and composed cornering balance belying its 5,000 lb curb weight. Yet even on large wheels, the adjustable air suspension maintains a compliant ride. This versatility makes the Q7 engaging to drive for its class. 2024 Audi Q7 Warranty and Maintenance Coverage The 2024 Q7 is protected by a 4-year/50,000 mile new vehicle limited warranty. Powertrain coverage spans 4 years/50,000 miles as well, on par with most luxury rivals but short of Acura’s longer 6-year term. There’s no free scheduled maintenance, with Audi instead offering pre-paid plans. Overall, the Q7 provides reassurance for buyers through generous warranty protection as standard. Carefully following factory maintenance procedures is advised to keep this advanced SUV running smoothly long term. How the Audi Q7 Compares to Luxury SUV Rivals The 2024 Audi Q7 matches up closely against competitors like the BMW X5, Mercedes-Benz GLE and Volvo XC90. The BMW offers a sportier driving feel, while the Benz touts the latest tech and refinement. The Volvo provides similar space but fewer powertrain options. Compared to the X5, the Q7 has less agile handling but a roomier third row. The GLE 350 is quicker with its turbocharged I6, but lacks the Q7’s composed air suspension. None of these rivals hold a distinct advantage, making the Q7 very competitive. 2024 Audi Q7 Reliability and Owner Satisfaction Audi models traditionally rate well for reliability, and the Q7 follows suit with above-average dependability. The turbo V6 and 8-speed transmission prove robust. Common issues involve the air suspension, electronics and some interior fittings based on owner feedback. Overall owner satisfaction is high, with praise for the refined, capable driving experience. Fuel economy, passenger room and standard features also earn kudos in reviews. Some find ride quality a bit stiff with larger wheels. The Q7 makes for a satisfying long-term luxury SUV.

Interested buyers can expect a smooth and refined, if a tad conservative, driving experience. #Wiack #Car #CarInsurance #CarRental #CarPrice #AutoLoans

First Look: The Audi RS 4 Avant Bronze Edition
Built for stealth with its Vesuvius Grey paint and black detailing, yet also shot through with a bold as brass streak evident in its stunning 20-inch bronze milled wheels, the new RS 4 Avant Bronze Edition is a car of contrasts. Limited to just 25 examples in the UK, this short-run addition to the RS 4 range is available to order now priced at £82,395 OTR, and features an exceptional standard specification that in some respects plays down the super Avant’s flared and muscle-bound stance, but in others renders it even more eye-catching.
Updated externally in late 2019 by the latest Audi design hallmarks, and internally by an advanced new touch-screen MMI Touch operating system, the RS 4 Avant is shown in a new light by the exclusive paint finish and distinctive wheels that set the Bronze Edition apart, and a number of key details help to complete the look. Starting upfront, they include a high gloss black finish for the Singleframe and front air intake surrounds, which are complemented by a matte carbon lip spoiler. In profile, black roof rails and window surrounds and matte carbon mirror housings also help to darken the mood, as does a matte carbon diffuser with a high gloss black insert at the rear.
The overlap between low key and high profile is also emphasized by the RS sport exhaust system, which is another additional standard feature of the Bronze Edition that replaces the usual brightwork of the two trademark oval RS tailpipe trims with black equivalents, and also amplifies the already strident soundtrack played by the 450PS, 2.9-liter TFSI.
Inside, the striking milled wheels are referenced by bronze contrast stitching for the black Fine Nappa leather super sport seats. This limited edition model also features additional Fine Nappa leather elements in the sides of the center console and the armrests, which are also trimmed with bronze stitching, as are the leather-rimmed steering wheel and gear lever gaiter. Carbon detailing is also carried through from the exterior into the matte carbon twill inlays which perfectly complement the contrast-stitched leather.
The Bronze Edition also takes on board some additional useful features, as well as some luxuries, as part of its standard Comfort and Sound Pack. This includes the Advanced Key system, which enables the keyholder to unlock and open the car by simply lifting each door handle without needing the key in-hand, and also brings electric hands-free opening for the powered tailgate, enabling access to up to 1,495 liters of luggage space by simply touching a foot on a sensor mounted in the rear bumper underside. It also adds a 360-degree camera that uses wide-angle lenses to pick up the entire perimeter of the car and offers a ‘bird’s eye view’ feature, plus extended LED interior lighting that can bathe the interior in a variety of colors configurable via the MMI. Last but by no means least, it brings an upgrade to Bang & Olufsen audio delivering a 755-watt output via 19 speakers.
The core standard equipment list for the RS 4 Avant Bronze Edition takes the standard car as its basis, and as befits a model in the Audi Sport stable that list is of course extensive. It includes everything from Matrix LED headlights and MMI Navigation Plus to massaging front seats, the Audi Virtual Cockpit with RS-specific screens and Audi Phonebox wireless handset charging.
The 10.1-inch MMI touch display is the nerve center of the latest RS 4 cabin. Tilted slightly towards the driver, the touch-sensitive screen provides acoustic feedback and takes over the functions of the previous rotary pushbutton on the center console. The driver can use the RS monitor to call up an overview of drive system component temperatures, maximum g-forces and information regarding tire pressures and temperatures. In the Audi virtual cockpit, the special RS displays provide information on tire pressure, torque, power output, engine oil temperature, lap timings, acceleration measurements and g-forces. A shift light display is also included to prompt the driver to upshift when the rev limit is reached.
The limited edition RS 4 Avant Bronze Edition temporarily expands the latest UK RS 4 family to four members. The line-up also includes the ‘standard’ RS 4 Avant, the RS 4 Avant Carbon Black and the RS 4 Avant Vorsprung, each offering a slightly different take on the superfast Avant theme that will suit enthusiasts who prefer to keep a relatively low profile, those with more extrovert tastes and those for whom luxury and the latest technological developments carry as much weight as cornering capability and pace.
Aside from the powerfully built Avant body, the common ground shared by all four variants is of course the formidable twin-turbo V6 TFSI. Offering 450PS and a 600Nm torque peak in each, it facilitates acceleration from zero to 62mph in just 4.1 seconds, and storms onwards to a limited top speed of 155mph in the RS 4 Avant, RS 4 Avant Carbon Black and RS 4 Bronze Edition, or 174mph in the RS 4 Avant Vorsprung. The high-output V6 impresses not only with its strong performance but also with its high level of efficiency. In the new WLTP driving cycle, it returns up to 30.7mpg, which corresponds to 211 grams of CO2 per kilometer (NEDC-derived).
The power of the 2.9 TFSI flows to the quattro permanent all-wheel drive system via an eight-speed tiptronic transmission which in regular driving delivers 60 percent of torque to the rear axle and 40 percent to the front by way of a purely mechanical center differential. Up to 70 percent can be delivered to the front or up to 85 percent to the rear in more demanding driving situations, during which wheel-selective torque control also intervenes, braking the wheels on the inside of the bend very slightly to give the car a supportive push into the bend and impart a precise, agile and neutral feel. The standard quattro sport differential with RS-specific tuning also sharpens dynamic response in corners by distributing torque between the rear wheels actively and in a targeted manner.
In the RS 4 Avant Bronze Edition, like its standard and Carbon Black counterparts, quattro agility and reassurance is delivered with the help of a sophisticated five-link front and rear RS-specific suspension that enables the optimal absorption of longitudinal and lateral forces. The driver can tailor the driving experience to suit via the standard Audi drive select dynamic handling system, which now features five profiles: comfort, auto, dynamic and the new customization RS1 and RS2 modes. The new RS modes are easily accessible via steering wheel-mounted buttons, making it easier than ever for the driver to set the car up to suit his or her mood or driving route.

Stefano Rossi - blog's author.

2020 RS6: You better buy one! 🤯 ______________________________________ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ [9/12/19] As we all know and are beyond happy about, the 2020 C8 RS6 is coming to the US, but Audi has a warning for North American buyers. People have been begging and begging for this to come with petitions, comments and more…so now, buy one or never see another Avant in the US! It is also important to point out the RS6 will NOT be limited and is expected to cost around $120k in the states. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 🏁 @Allcarnews Spec sheet: Officially: Under the hood is a 4.0L TT V8 48v hybrid making 591HP and 590 lb-ft of torque sent through an 8 speed gearbox to all four wheels through Audi Quattro AWD! 0-60 happens in just 3.6sec with a 155MPH limited top speed. The Dynamic pack will boost that up to 174MPH and up to 190MPH with the Dynamic Plus pack! The special differential also can send up to 85% of the power to the rear wheels and up to 70% of the power to the front wheels making the RS6 RWD biased! 🏁 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ All RS6’s will come standard with a sport tuned adaptive air suspension and then an RS Sport suspension option that adds steel springs and there mode adjustable dampers! Inside is everything new from audi and mostly everything we have seen already with the new touch MMI interface and the virtual cockpit with a HUD. Some special RS features include a new G meter and a whole bunch of performance gauges with boost pressure and loads more metrics. There are also new RS configurable driving modes called RS1 and RS2! Inside also gets stunning quilted leather and of course loads of cargo space as it is the Avant model!
