Atlas got some love from DE with the pseudo-exalted rework, and now he's getting some love from me :)

I generally don't post timelapse of my art for two reasons:

It turns the fun creative process into a performance, and I feel like it exposes my inefficiency and lack of knowledge of CSP tools. I know it's not noticeable in such a short video, but the personal mental discomfort is there regardless.

Second reason, I use CSP's built-in timelapse feature, which increases the .clip file size significantly (this one was 405MB, most of my non-recorded files are under 30MB). I'm a digital hoarder with a pathetic 1TB SSD.

I do like talking (writing) about the process, and posting static WIPs, though.

So, a bit of talking.

This was referenced from captura, I got a cool shot when I was checking out the attack animation.

Gave up on the details on the Tekko. I don't trace, but maybe I should have in this case.

Been meaning to do something in dragonfruit/peach colour scheme for a while, so why not now?

I usually do a rough sketch, refined sketch, sketchy lineart prep, and then lineart proper. Skipped step 3 here, and I really like how the lineart turned out (aside from the Tekko. Don't look at the Tekko.), very little line weight adjustments were needed. I love getting better.

Hi, it's been a while, have my favourite headcanon

So, we know that what the Tenno are capable of is more or less just limited to their imagination and their ability to focus their power. In my stories with Calysta, my headcanon is that when pressed, she can use the abilities she's acclimated to with her primary Warframes. For instance say she's unarmed and backed in to a corner, she can manifest Styanax and use Axios Javelin. Or, manifest Atlas and use Landslide. I imagine why she's such a great shot with her pistol, is she manifests Mesa passively. In my head, the longer a Tenno is with a certain Warframe; the more second nature their abilities come when transference is not active.
