Now that I'm officially obsessed, may I share my role headcanons?

First the ones that haven't changed:

Kinger as Zeus. Zeus' pride and literal god complex fits him very well.

Poseidon as Jax. He's vengeful and ruthless, makes sense

Circe as Ragatha. Mommy? sorry. Mommy? sorry. Mommy? sorr

Penelope as Pomni. It was actually quite difficult picking a role for her (you'll see why), but in the end I kept her the same.

Caine as Odeyssius. Duh.

Now my own ideas! :D

The cyclops! Jax doesn't really need a reason to hate Caine but what if I just.... made it Jillz. Like the code corrupted her in some way and now she's half abstracted or something and barely holding on for Jax?

Jax also has stray gloinks running around his studio that can be the sheep, or, OR, they're a companion that jillz drew herself that came to life! Is that possible? who knows?

Scylla as Gangle! I like the imagery of her ribbons grabbing people from all sides, only to leave a trail of blood behind. Maybe some of them hanging by the neck from her ribbons. (is that too dark?)

Athena as Zooble! after allowing Able (Eurylochus) to join Caine on his journey to escape, in return she mentors him for a while in the dangers of the carnival and asks that they use their combined knowledge of code to fix the game ("Make a greater tomorrow" so to speak) before sending them on their way.

Then she shows up a few times to remind him that the others are too far gone to be spared (She's a lot more distant from them in this au of an au).

Bubble as Polites! :D He's a good boy, he deserves a good boy role (and also to die). It was a switch up between Able and Pomni at first, but then I remembered he existed!

Eurylochus as Able. I think their dynamic in the musical would be made a lot more interesting with their already strained brotherly relationship. Again, was teetering between Able and Pomni.

The crew! You got a carnival oc? this is you! Until ruthlessness, when most of you die. Then I'd wittle it down to canon player characters that show up in Mushy's art and player OCs I find cool. This is my headcanon, I get to do what I want.

Skipping all of telemachus' songs (I don't have a role for him), I think by God Games their would be a canon divergence. Instead of completely different "Gods" arguing with Zooble, it would be all the "Gods" Caine's met up until that point. Maybe Zooble finally has to reconcile with the fact that she can't get Caine and Able out of here without their help.

AUGH... ZOOBLE ENJOYERS HEAR ME OUT LISTEN TO ME
