I’m begging you guys to actually take a college level history course IF ONLY for the purpose of reading testimonies of people who’ve actually experienced war.

READ what it was like to walk through the streets of Japan after the bombs were dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

READ what it’s like to watch someone die from mustard gas inhalation.

READ all quiet on the western front

READ what it’s like to be the oppressed

And THEN READ what it’s like to be the oppressor.

I DO NOT understand how we as Americans lost the plot of war is fucking bad.

I will never support someone who makes the order that results in a child weeping over the body of their mother. That goes for gorilla attacks made by terroristic organizations AND EVEN MORE for large scale organized governments (who have the resources to make calculated decisions)

War is complicated and sometimes you have to ugly things in self defense but there’s a difference between self defense, and excessive abuse of power.
