Choose a boat of your liking and paddle off by yourself, with friends and family, or join one of our exploration groups to see our home town and surroundings from a point of view you never have before. There are children groups, too, on the weekends, where exploration turns into adventures on and off the rivers. 

The Boat House is open every day from 9 am till sunset, so stop by and paddle away!

Icy Christmas Eve ❄️ (at Assabet River National Wildlife Refuge)

Today was our tenth annual Blanding's Turtle Head-start Release Day with our outstanding partners Oxbow Associates, Inc., @usfws and @ugasrel. When we canoed across the swamp and deep into the thick vegetation we released our turtles in their preferred habitat. 171 Bristol Aggie NRM students have worked to raise and collect data on 805 hatchlings that have been released here. This work has been conducted to evaluate the efficacy of head-starting as a conservation method and will hopefully reestablish a population of this threatened species.
